Bullet Boyz {C} vs. H2
Backstage Segment
The cameras roll backstage where we see Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte pacing nervously just inside the door that leads to the parking lot. The "Fantastic Frenchman" continuously looks out into the lot for something, but groans and grumbles angrily to himself when he doesn't seem to find what he's looking or waiting for. Tonight he is supposed to defend his title against rival Antonio Jordan. He brings his hands together and taps his index fingers against his lips, still pacing.
Finally, he looks out into the lot and raises his arms in relief. He takes a few steps back and the door opens, where 3 uniformed men enter. They appear to be a group of law enforcement officers of some type, but they don't appear to be actual police officers. They are dressed in uniforms with a typical utility belt, and ball caps. Joseph approaches them and sizes them up. After taking a quick look at each man, Joseph scowls and backs up a step.
Joseph: "This? This is what they sent me? I asked for 3 personal guards and you three show up? You look... so... so weak!"
The 3 uniformed men glance at each other in confusion, sizing each other up. They appear to be strong guys, and each man is about the same height and weight as Joseph himself. They each frown as they turn back to look at Joseph.
Joseph: "Ugh... I guess you'll have to do. I guess this what I get for trying to hire personal guards from NEW JERSEY. Aye, what a disgusting place. I shouldn't be surprised that they sent you three. I guess this is the best I could buy. What a shame. You'll have to do. Come on... follow me."
The 3 hired personal guards glance at each other and shrug, and begin to follow the Intercontinental champ. Why has the "Frenchman" hired 3 personal guards? What role are they suppose to serve for him in tonight's match? The men walk off camera. The camera pans back with a view of the door gradually fading to unfocused as the segment ends!

Pre-Match Segment
The crowd gets fired up for the next matchup that will pit Antonio Jordan against rival Joseph T. Lutte for the Intercontinental Title! Antonio's music hits and the crowd goes wild for the Philadelphia-born fan favorite! The "Mastermind" gives his signature pose on the stage and then walks confidently to the ring, hoping to reclaim the title he lost last month at Summerslam. Antonio acknowledges the fans' support and stretches in the ring as he awaits his rival.
A few moments later, Joseph's theme hits and the crowd immediately emits a very negative response to the "Fantastic Frenchman"! But the crowd becomes both angry and confused when the Intercontinental champ appears... as he is flanked by 3 hired personal guards! Antonio watches them approach and has a very befuddled scowl on his face, as he doesn't seem to understand why Joseph has extra protection. The "Frenchman" stops briefly near the end of the ramp and instructs the 3 guards to walk around the ring towards the announce tables. The 3 guards are wearing similar black t-shirts with vests, utility belts with an array of tools and black ball caps. One of the guards is wearing dark sunglasses that cover most of his face, making it hard to see his facial features. Joseph watches them circle the ring, and smirks arrogantly at Antonio as he climbs into the ring. Antonio watches the guards walk around the ring and studies them inquisitively, but then turns to look at Joseph with a confused yet annoyed expression. Joseph speaks to his rival.
Joseph: "Ahh Antonio, it appears that you are ready for our match tonight. Well, I just wanted to inform you that I used a small portion of my extensive fortune to hire 3 personal bodyguards for the evening. I will be honest with you, my American friend. You gave me quite a fright last Friday. When you approached me to challenge for this title, I saw a very furious look in your eyes. It honestly made me fear for my personal safety. And of course, being in a terrible place like Newark, New Jersey doesn't really make anyone feel safe... especially an honorable foreign competitor like myself. So basically, these 3 guards were hired to keep me safe from you. If you make any attempts to seriously harm me... beyond the confines of the match, of course... then they have my blessing to do what is necessary to keep me safe. So be careful, my American friend. You have all the right in the world to compete fairly with me for this championship... but let's not go overboard, okay?"
Antonio does not appreciate the snarky comments by the "Frenchman" and rolls his eyes. Antonio shakes his head, clearly irritated, and gives the 3 guards another look. Joseph smiles confidently as he steps back and unsnaps his title belt to hand it to the referee. Antonio gears up for the match, and it appears that his calm mood has turned into an irate fury!

Eric Executioner {C} vs. Rebel Ford
Post-Match Segment
After the match, the referee checks on Rebel and calls for medical assistance. Several members of the medical team enter the ring and surround Rebel, focusing their attention on his left ankle and foot. Rebel can be seen grimacing in extreme pain, and he leans his head up against the bottom rope and tries to catch his breath. The look of disappointment on his face from the loss is clear, but the concern over the condition of his lower leg is a more pressing matter.
Eventually, medical personnel place his lower left leg in a large air cast and help Rebel limp to a stretcher. Rebel plops down onto the stretcher and takes slow, deep breaths. The medical team carefully wheels him out of the cell, and the Newark crowd gives him a huge ovation. Rebel nods and waves in acknowledgement, but now the realization of the match's result can be seen weighing on his mind. The segment ends with the dejected expression on Rebel's face as he is pushed backstage.

Hell in a Cell Match:
DMK vs. Gravedigger
To close out the show, the crowd fires up again for the upcoming main-event Hell in a Cell battle between DMK and Gravedigger. The roots for this feud actually begin this past April. DMK, fresh off a WWE Title upset loss to Carson Pain in the WrestleMania main event, was a selfish heel aligned with David Degenerate in the Hell's Genius super team. Gravedigger meanwhile had also lost at WrestleMania in a "Loser Leaves the Brand" match and was drafted over to Raw, but had disappeared and never made an appearance. DMK and Carson were scheduled for a rematch at the Backlash PPV, but a strange vignette played during the match that distracted DMK and allowed Carson to retain the title in controversial fashion. DMK accused Carson of masterminding the distraction and was granted another rematch for Extreme Rules, but this time DMK was unsuccessful because... 'Digger returned and attacked him! DMK won the match by DQ but not the title, and became the focus of a suddenly-psychotic "Graveyard Monster". 'Digger wanted to destroy DMK and stake his claim as Raw's true dark leader, even showing his prowess by repeatedly attacking WWE champ Carson Pain, and DMK began to feel mixed emotions over the situation. A match was made for DMK and 'Digger at the King of the Ring PPV, in which the latter drew blood from the former and picked up an impressive victory. But after the match, DMK's true feelings came out and he rose off the mat and angered 'Digger by showing off his "never say quit" attitude. DMK's actions turned the crowd in his favor again, and he had a sudden change of heart. Gravedigger then set his eyes on Carson's WWE Title but DMK was determined not only to get his rematch back but also to prevent 'Digger from claiming Raw's top prize. Carson was able to retain the title at the Night of Champions PPV, but the challengers wanted another shot at the belt. But David Degenerate re-entered the title picture thanks to his alliance with Mr. McMahon, and in a controversial mid-match decision at Summerslam, DMK and 'Digger were eliminated from the Fatal 4-Way WWE Title match due to a double countout. This result triggered many resulting events, but mainly it led to DMK and 'Digger increasing the bad blood between them. Throughout the first few weeks of September, the two rivals brawled and had physical encounters multiple times as they couldn't even be in the same building without causing a fight! Eventually, Raw GM Stephanie McMahon intervened and offered a way to settle their feud... a Hell in a Cell match! But her offer was based on one simple condition: neither man could initiate contact with the other, or both would suffer indefinite suspensions! Some interesting moments occurred along the way to the PPV, but both men was able to keep themselves in check to earn the match... which had the fans buzzing about who would walk out of the Hell in a Cell as the victor... and in one piece!
The Newark crowd was rumbling with excitement as the Hell in a Cell structure loomed over the ring for the 2nd go-around of the evening, and they responded to the sounds of Gravedigger's theme song with a cascading round of boos! The "Graveyard Monster" made his entrance slowly but his eyes never wavered from the ring, and he climbed in without even a hint of emotion. Next, the crowd cheered loudly for DMK as the "King" strolled to the ring confidently. DMK had a similar, focused expression as his opponent did but the anger emanating just below the surface was obvious. Both men entered the ring, the cell was locked and the referee called for the bell to signal the start of this show-closing war! A short staredown started things off, but it didn't take long for the physical violence to occur! The two large grapplers traded punches early, but 'Digger gained control and slapped on a headlock. He took down DMK and followed up with a running elbow shot to his seated foe. 'Digger tried to continue the attack, but DMK reversed and started to deliver some big moves of his own. After tossing Gravedigger into the corner, DMK hit him with a clothesline and running bulldog combo! DMK was able to land a few more moves as it became clear that neither man was going to have an advantage for long! Soon after, Gravedigger again took the upper hand and started going for big moves. After a nasty powerbomb and a suplex, 'Digger snatched DMK by the neck and dropped him with a chokeslam! The "Monster" went for a cover but DMK kicked out just after 2 to stay alive. Gravedigger shoved a dazed DMK up against the ropes, stepped back and proceeded to shoulder block his rival out of the ring and up against the cell wall! DMK's back bounced off the steel and he collapsed down to the floor below. 'Digger exited the ring and the battle continued on the ringside floor. Outside, both men tried to use the cell structure as a weapon. First, 'Digger lifted DMK up and impressively tossed him headfirst into the steel wall. Later, DMK was able to counter and drove his foe into the cell wall before planting him down with a spinebuster! The match really started to get nasty when they began to involve objects from under the ring. DMK grabbed a steel chair and whacked the "Monster" several times with it, including a painful-sounding smack across 'Digger's face! Gravedigger managed to grab the chair and delivered a retribution shot, but the "Monster" eyed something more damaging... a sledgehammer! 'Digger swung the hammer like a baseball bat, driving the thick hammer head into DMK's stomach and back. The sick joy seen behind Gravedigger's creepy mask disturbed the fans as they sounded their disapproval. But despite 'Digger's bruising attacks, DMK continued to fight back and had the crowd's support to motivate him. The two dark men battled near the corner of the cell, and the wall nearest them began to show signs of weakness from multiple forceful slams against it. DMK had control of the battle, and knocked a woozy Gravedigger up against the cell wall. The "King" then took a few steps back, gathered a big rush of energy and... speared Gravedigger THROUGH the cell wall!!! The crowd erupted into a huge cheer as both men lay on top of the busted section for a few minutes, trying to collect themselves after the massive collision! Once both men were able to recover, 'Digger surprisingly took control again. The "Monster" slammed DMK's head into the ring post and then began to brawl with him outside the cell. Eventually, both men started to climb their way up to the top of the cell! The crowd began really buzzing now, as the two rivals were preparing to continue this war from over 20 feet in the air! On top of the cell, the brawl continued as both men tried to watch their footing on the weak cell ceiling. Eventually, DMK's tenacity won out as he obtained the advantage. A few suplexes and a nasty spinebuster had them teetering on a weakened part of the cell, but DMK showed no signs of worry. DMK made a big taunt to the pumped-up crowd, and positioned himself for a huge signature move! DMK lifted the groggy 'Digger to his feet, kicked him in the gut, snatched him around the head and shoulders and... broke through the top of the cell with a forceful Hell's Plunge!!! The cell gave way and Gravedigger went crashing down to the mat below, bouncing off the unforgiving surface and reacting in pain! DMK was able to land on the cell safely, and carefully climbed over the ledge and jumped down to the mat to re-enter the ring from above. DMK breathed calmly with confidence and stared down his weakened rival, sensing the time to finish him off! DMK waited patiently for 'Digger to rise up, and grabbed the "Monster" tightly by the throat! Gravedigger had no energy left to fight back, and DMK lifted him up... and slammed him down with a vicious Checkmate chokeslam! DMK hooked the leg for the pin, and the crowd chanted with the ref's count... 1... 2... 3!!! The crowd went wild for the result, as DMK had outlasted his rival in a huge matcup and earned some much-needed retribution! DMK rose off the mat slowly and backed up to the ropes in exhausted fashion, taking a moment to breath before raising his arms to celebrate! A rare smirk appeared on DMK's face as he soaked in the crowd's approval, and he staggered around the ring to give each part of the arena a chance to engage him in a victory cheer! The show came to an close with a closeup of a tired but pleased DMK raising a fist proudly! WINNER: DMK |
