Year 3
The Road to WrestleMania travels through St. Louis, MO for tonight's LIVE and highly-anticipated Elimination Chamber PPV!
United States Championship:
Renegade {c} vs. Lee Money
Backstage Segment
The cameras venture backstage where we see a very arrogant Mr. McMahon strutting down the hallway. Suddenly, a slight push from behind knocks him out of rhythm and he turns to see... DMK! The "King" approaches the WWE Chairman and has an inquiry.
DMK: "Vince... I figured that I could ask you this since it's MY WrestleMania title shot on the line - what's my entry number in the Chamber match tonight?" Mr. McMahon: "Entry number? Usually that's randomly chosen." DMK: "Yeah, USUALLY but... I have a feeling you have some sneaky thing up your sleeve. So I thought I could prepare myself properly. So... when am I entering the Chamber match?" Mr. McMahon: "Well... you are going to enter the Chamber at #1. First man in. If you want to keep your title shot, you're gonna have to survive all the way through." Mr. McMahon gives a evil smirk as DMK scowls. Finally, his anger bubbles to the surface and he snaps back. DMK: "WHY are you doing this, Vince? I've been nothing but a loyal WWE wrestler for years. I feel like ever since I came back at the Rumble, you've been doing things to spite me. I just don't understand WHY." Mr. McMahon: "Why?! You want to know why, huh? Well, here's the truth... I DON'T LIKE YOU. I WANT you to lose your title opportunity. I WANT you to SUFFER. I don't think you are the type of champion WWE needs. I've held back my feelings for too long. But most of all... I want you to STAY AWAY from David Degenerate. I've invested a lot of money in him... and I don't need you mucking it up! DAVID is the ideal champion. You... you don't have the right image for a WWE Champion. The fact that you've already won the title twice SICKENS me! So tonight... I'm gonna put you at every disadvantage I can to prevent you from winning. So there's your WHY. Now get out of my face - I have a show to run!" Vince turns quickly and walks off. The camera slowly zooms in on DMK's face, and you can see the seething fury grow. The "King" exhales deeply... and you can see the motivation begin to form! DMK's gonna start the Chamber at #1... but he might have been given exactly what he needed to push him through to victory! |
Hardcore Championship (Ladder Match):
Big Mutha Trucker {c} vs. Tank Blazer
Women's Championship:
Eve Torres {c} (w/ Mr. Black) vs. Jersey Jenny
Cruiserweight Championship:
Rusty {c} vs. Paulie Dominos
Post-Match Segment
The scene after the match is strange, as Paulie D. is celebrating wildly but the crowd doesn't know how to react. They witnessed the interference by Quinn, and it's obvious that Paulie doesn't know anything about it. Rusty begins to stagger back to his feet, and disappointment covers the expression on his face.
Noticing his foe's wincing, Paulie D. walks over to help him up to his feet. Paulie makes sure that Rusty is okay, and a smile breaks out over his face. He reaches out and offers an excited handshake to the now-former champion. Rusty looks at the gesture, which seems to be very innocent, but raises a suspicious eyebrow. He obviously saw Quinn strike him and you can see him wonder if Paulie was behind the attack. Therefore, Rusty seems offended... and shoves Paulie's hand away! The "Jersey Fist-Pumper" is confused and tries to discuss it with Rusty, but the "2 XTreme" superfan waves him off angrily and exits.
The crowd continues to be unsure how to react, but Paulie D. raises the title happily and celebrates again!

Elimination Chamber Match
(Winner Receives a WWE Championship Match At WrestleMania):
DMK vs. Gravedigger vs. Mack Wheeler
vs. Carson Pain vs. Big Juan Santos vs. Brett Diamond
Back at the Judgment Day PPV, footage from the parking lot showed DMK climbing into his Chevy Corvette to leave... but suddenly, a large truck smashed into the vehicle in one of the most shocking scenes ever! The vehicular assault caused major injuries for the "King" and he was absent from the Raw brand for months. But then finally, entering the Royal Rumble at #30 to an arena-shaking ovation, DMK outlasted the final competitors and won the prestigious match to earn a WrestleMania main-event title opportunity. But, due to stipulations from the WWE Title match on the same PPV, Raw GM Stephanie McMahon was ousted from her position and replaced by Mr. McMahon! This caused a major conflict of interest, as the WWE Chairman was also an ally of current WWE champ David Degenerate. Mr. McMahon flexed his corrupt muscles right away, announcing the night after Royal Rumble that DMK would have to defend his Rumble victory in the dangerous Elimination Chamber match. As we witnessed during the month, DMK would learn new entrants for the Chamber match each week and be forced to face them in a series of matches. This developed a serious rivalry between everybody involved and witnessed DMK suffer a few surprising losses as well. DMK's rivalry with Gravedigger was revived and his actions in a 3-way match against Carson Pain & Mack Wheeler angered the "Human Semi", who took revenge with an attack on DMK during the following week's match against Mack's ally Big Juan. Then, another surprise return added intrigue as Brett Diamond returned from a weeks-long injury to be the 6th and final member of the Chamber match. In a final main event on Raw just days ago, 'Digger defeated all 5 men in a battle royal to claim a guaranteed final pod release in tonight's match, giving him a major advantage to the exhausting battle. And with DMK starting at #1, he's going to have to find a way to outlast a collection of former champions... and then his most-hated rival near the end in order to defend his WrestleMania title shot!
Just before the match really gets going, we are treated to the entrance of... David Degenerate! The WWE Champion heads down to ringside and joins the commentary team for the next match! David slides in next to Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler, mentioning that he wants to get a good look at who he will face at WrestleMania. Michael asks the "Dangerous Genius" if he has a preference for opponent, but David instead makes disparaging remarks about all 6 contenders including some nasty comments directed towards DMK. David comments on how he knows DMK better due to their unholy alliance from last year but predicts that he won't make it out of the Chamber with his title shot intact. The next few minutes feature entrances from all six men, drawing a varied range of reactions from the crowd. The fans cheer hard for DMK, Carson, Big Juan and Brett, give a lukewarm reaction for Mack and boo Gravedigger heavily. Four men are assigned to pods - Big Juan, Carson, Brett and 'Digger - while DMK and the "Human Semi" remain in the ring as the #1 and #2 draws. The crowd collectively murmurs excitedly for the first Chamber match of the night, as someone will survive and go on to challenge for the WWE Title at WrestleMania! The bell rings and we get underway! Mack and DMK circle each other, the animosity between them seeping out their pores, as they prepare to settle their differences from the past few weeks. Finally, the action begins with a vicious clothesline from the "Human Semi" who follows up by stepping right on DMK's chest. The "King" responds by slamming his foe with a two-handed choke toss, nails him with an elbow to the face and then whips Mack out of the ring and onto the metal floor. Outside the ring, Mack grabs DMK and slams his head into Carson's pod. Mack likes the damage that caused and attempts it again, but DMK counters and sends the "Human Semi" crashing into the side of the pod! A moment later, the countdown for the next entrant reaches :00 and the lights bounce back and forth. Finally, the spotlight settles on... Brett Diamond! The "Professional" is released from his pod and joins the fight! But he encounters a fired up DMK as the "King" handles both challengers deftly. He lands a sharp knee drop onto Mack and follows up with a painful sidewalk slam right on the steel. Brett goes to attack, but DMK whips him into the ropes and plants him with a spinebuster! The "King" lifts Brett up right away, uses all his strength to send his foe crashing into Big Juan's pod... shattering the glass! Mack staggers to his feet but DMK greets him with his Hell's Plunge signature move! The impressive run by DMK is then met by... Carson's entrance into the match! "The Original" is released into the match, and immediately targets Mack! Carson plants Mack with a double-arm chop while the "King" slams Brett onto the metal floor with his Checkmate finisher! DMK & Brett continue their battle in the ring, while Carson & Mack trade blows outside the ropes. No eliminations happen yet, and the countdown rolls again... and Big Juan Santos is allowed entry next! The "Mexican Brute" steps out of his pod and joins up with his ally Mack Wheeler, helping the "Human Semi" fight off a determined Carson. Meanwhile in the ring, DMK takes the advantage over the "Professional" and after slamming him hard with a powerful modified sidewalk slam... he pins him to score the first elimination! Carson enters the ring and goes right after DMK, nailing him with a hard clothesline and following up right away with his Original Twist neck snap move. Big Juan and Mack, despite being allies, recognize the need to fight each other and put aside their friendship for now. They both re-enter the ring as they brawl, while DMK counters Carson with a sitout powerbomb. Next, the "Mexican Brute" knocks Mack down with a massive big boot... and then turns to deliver another to DMK! The crowd whoops it up for Big Juan as he stands tall in the ring! But the countdown meter appears again and when it reaches zeroes, the final entrant steps out of his pod... Gravedigger! The "Graveyard Monster" earned the guaranteed final entrant into the match, and is now unleashed onto the others! 'Digger steps into the ropes, sprints across the ring... and smashes a big boot right into DMK's face! What an entrance for the big guy! The "King" though is able to counter with a sidewalk slam, sending a message to 'Digger that he's not going down easily. The next part of the match features a brawl between DMK and Big Juan, likely still stinging from their rough encounter on Raw a few weeks ago, while the remaining 3 fight it out as well. 'Digger, Carson and Mack still have some unresolved issues as well, so it makes for some exciting moves. Chaos reigns for a while, as all 5 men try to establish superiority but can only maintain it briefly. Carson and 'Digger begin a fight with each other, while DMK also has to fight off Mack, who again teams up with his "Mexican Brute" ally to try and hurt the Royal Rumble winner. The teamwork only works for a short time, as DMK knocks Big Juan down and delivers a facebuster to the knee on Mack... which busts the "Human Semi" open! Blood trickles down from Mack's forehead as the former Texas Longhorn winces from the pain! Next, Carson and DMK again square off as 'Digger turns his attention to the allied unit. Gravedigger tosses both Mack and Big Juan over the top ropes and onto the metal floor. But outside the ring, Big Juan & Mack double-team the "Monster" as Big Juan holds his arms and Mack sends unprotected punches right into the gut. The match continues to be wild and the crowd is loving it! The next elimination happens after a crazy series of events. First, DMK starts to dominate the bloody Mack and manages to slam him down with a Hell's Plunge signature. Hoping to try a pinfall, he leans down... but suddenly, Carson drags him into the corner! "The Original" mounts him on the 2nd turnbuckle to deliver two quick punches, but DMK catches the 3rd punch and sends Carson flying onto the mat. The "King" spots Mack still prone on the mat, and slides over for a pinfall attempt. The referee counts 1... 2... and the "Human Semi" musters enough to kick out! Frustrated by Carson's interference, DMK takes his anger out on Mack. When Wheeler staggers back to his feet, DMK snatches him by the throat... and chokeslams him with his Checkmate finisher! This time, nothing stops him from going for the pin and he gets the 3-count to eliminate the "Human Semi"! We are down to 4 remaining, but another elimination happens soon after. DMK plants 'Digger with a massive suplex, and then works with Big Juan briefly to strike Carson with a double punch. As the "King" reverts back to fighting with the "Monster", Big Juan takes his chances on a weakened Carson. After planting him with his Ultimo Tango finisher, Big Juan covers Carson... and eliminates him via pinfall! The "Mexican Brute" just pulled a big upset and knocked "The Original" out of this match! There's now 3 men left to fight, and it's the biggest three of the whole lot. After 'Digger damages DMK with a series of big moves, the "Monster " turns his attention to Big Juan. They brawl for a bit while DMK tries to recover outside the ring, exhaustion starting to set in for the #1 entrant. Finally, he finds another wind and joins the brawl as all 3 of them trade big moves in hopes of scoring the next elimination. Big Juan whips DMK into the ropes and tries a running grapple... but DMK counters with a big-impact DDT! Big Juan's head bounces hard off the mat, majorly hurting him. The "King" tries to crawl over for a pinfall... but 'Digger grabs him by the head and tosses him aside! The "Graveyard Monster" instead wants the pin, and covers Big Juan for the 1-2-3! The "Mexican Brute" is gone, and we are down to two! As Big Juan exits the Chamber dejectedly, the crowd whoops it up for the final two... DMK and Gravedigger, hated rivals! The road to this moment has been long and full of violence, but reality sets in for both of them... that only one of them is going to WrestleMania! They both breathe deeply as they approach each other for the final boss battle, and after a moment of trash talk... the punches fly! An intense fight to the finish begins as neither man is willing to give in and the crowd loves it! Gravedigger takes control and tries for his finishing Cemetery Slam, but DMK is able to reverse out of it. Then, the "King" regains his footing... and snatches his rival by the neck! He lifts 'Digger up... and slams him into the mat with the Checkmate! Exhausted, DMK flops into a pin and the referee counts 1... 2... AND GRAVEDIGGER KICKS OUT!!! How did the "Monster" find the energy to survive??? DMK is stunned and in disbelief that he has to do even more to find victory! After both men lay on the mat and collect their thoughts, the action spills outside the ring as DMK uses the environment to help put the "Monster" away. DMK slams 'Digger into the Chamber wall multiple times, trying to find a way to weaken him. The hard impacts into the metal surface seem to work as 'Digger has trouble standing and begins holding his head in pain. DMK re-enters the ring to breathe as Gravedigger writhes in the metal floor. Then, an emotionally-charged moment sets the scene for the finish. 'Digger rises back to his feet, weary and hurt, as DMK stands waiting in a fighting stance. Like an ancient warrior sensing his demise, the "Graveyard Monster" lets out a ear-shattering roar to send an angry message to his rival - that he's not going to go down easily! A fierce brawl ensues, but DMK has the upper hand. A kick to the gut, followed by a signature Hell's Plunge, is enough to knock the "Monster" out for good. Emptying the tank one last time to perform a pin, DMK covers 'Digger for a count of 1... 2... 3!!! The crowd explodes into huge cheers, as DMK survived the Chamber match all the way from the #1 spot, eliminating his biggest challenge last, in order to defend his Royal Rumble victory... and guarantee his WrestleMania title shot! Exhausted but happy, the "King" leans into the ropes and raises his arms in victory, soaking in the crowd's adoration. Outside the chamber, a furious David Degenerate watches the scene unfold from the commentary table and stares daggers towards his biggest threat. DMK notices David's glare and returns one back, albeit with a smirk on his face. The "King" and the "Genius", long-time rivals and former allies, will face off for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania!!! WINNER: DMK |
