Year 3
Week 1
Only days removed from Summerslam, the blue brand's Friday episode opens LIVE from Houston, Texas!
Backstage Segment
As Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome the viewers to the show, they announce a huge 6-man tag match as the main event. The team of Zach Wesley and the G.L.O.W. team of new Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury will face off against a squad of Cruiserweight champ Rusty, Guy Justice and... Rebel Ford! They briefly discuss the match and the results of the recent Summerslam PPV before the camera switches backstage.
The door opens from the parking lot and we see the arrival of... Rebel Ford! The rebellious fan favorite was victorious on Sunday against Eric Executioner, but he only won by DQ after the World champ struck him with a chair. Rebel walks down the hall alone, and it's pretty obvious he's not in the best of moods. He's got a bothered expression on his face, and it seems telling that he's entering the arena alone. What is the status of his relationship with Women's champ Eve, and what does Mr. Black intend to do? Rebel seems deep in thought as he walks down the corridor towards the locker room as the segment ends.

Antonio Jordan (w/ Audrey Vega) vs. Billy Carter
To kick off the show, the fans get fired up for the entrance of Antonio Jordan! "America's Favorite" lost his Intercontinental Title on Sunday, and seems extremely focused for his upcoming matchup. Audrey Vega joins him at ringside and seems very supportive, and her presence appears to be keeping Antonio's anger in check. Antonio loosens up and paces the ring as he awaits his opponent. The Houston crowd sends out a chorus of boos when Billy Carter's music hits, but the "Canadian Bomber" looks hopeful to score a huge upset tonight.
The bell rings and the two lock up, chain grappling for a few minutes. Billy gets overconfident and tries to go for a dropkick, but Antonio dodges it and reverses into a neckbreaker. The move gives Antonio the edge, and the "Mastermind" rolls with it. An array of suplexes and a devastating diving knee drop to the gut has Billy reeling, and Antonio ducks a clothesline attempt and delivers his signature belly-to-belly suplex! The crowd revs up as Antonio readies himself for his finisher, and when Billy staggers to his feet, Antonio plants him hard with the American Dream! Antonio covers and the referee counts the pinfall, giving him an impressive bounce-back victory!
Audrey excitedly climbs into the ring to celebrate, and Antonio's ornery expression fades into a proud smile as the crowd cheers him on!
WINNER: Antonio Jordan

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, the cameras roll backstage in the locker room area where we see Antonio Jordan and Audrey Vega chatting as they walk in. Audrey is in a very happy mood and seems to be congratulating Antonio over and over, while a chuckling Antonio tries to remain humble about his victory. Antonio goes up to a door and knocks. A voice from the other side allows them in, and Antonio slowly opens the door. Inside, we can see Krizz Torture sitting quietly on a bench, rubbing his hands together and staring thoughtfully at the floor. He glances up and notices his allies entering, but a distraught look comes over his face. He slowly stands up and greets them.
Krizz: "Hey guys... nice win out there."
Antonio: "Thanks man. What's with the long face, dude?"
Krizz: "Man... I just can't get over what happened on Sunday. I feel like a major jerk. I was being selfish, and I cost you the Intercontinental Title. I just don't feel good about it. I would totally understand if you wanted to cut ties with me."
Antonio has a confused look and glances over at Audrey, who urges him to respond.
Antonio: "Dude... it's alright. No harm. It sucks, but I forgive you. No need to beat yourself up over it."
Krizz: "I know, but I can't forgive myself. I got too greedy and my motives got clouded when the title got involved."
Antonio: "It's okay, Krizz. Here's the thing... I don't want to lose you as a friend. I don't want to lose you as a tag partner. If we sit here and beat ourselves to death over one title loss, than there's no way we'll be able to recover from it. We'll have plenty of title opportunities in the future. YOU will have plenty of title opportunities in the future. Let's just agree to let it go... and focus on that future."
Antonio extends his hand, and Krizz looks up at him. Antonio smiles and insists his partner greets his gesture, and Krizz meets hands and laughs softly. Antonio pats his partner on the shoulder and Audrey steps over to give Krizz a strong hug. Krizz seems to cheer up a bit and the mood in the room improves. Antonio has one more comment to add.
Antonio: "Besides... I got a rematch clause. No way that French fool holds onto that title for long. I promise you that I will win that title back. You can bet on that!"
The trio share a confident laugh and sit down to chat more as the segment comes to an end.

Backstage Segment
The focus again returns to the parking lot door, where we are greeted to the entrance of... Women's champ Eve! Eve seems very happy to be at the arena, and walks briskly towards the women's locker room. As she approaches the door, we suddenly hear the voice in the background.
Teddy: "Eve! Eve! A quick moment!"
Smackdown GM Teddy Long rushes over to her and greets her.
Eve: "Oh... hey Teddy. What's up?"
Teddy: "I just wanted to come talk to you in person. I know you've been requesting a big match, and I thought of a great idea tonight. It's been a while since you've had a title defense, so I thought you could put the belt on the line tonight."
Eve: "Oh wow. Nice! What did you have in mind?"
Teddy: "I was thinking a simple little 4-way battle royal. Over-the-top style? I figured it would be a great, exciting matchup for a tough champ like you."
Eve: "Wow! That's great. I'm really looking forward to that. Thanks!"
Eve seems very excited for the match, and heads into the locker room to get ready. Teddy watches her enter as the camera pans around. A zoomed-in shot reveals a sly, odd smile creep over the GM's face as the segment comes to a close.

Backstage Interview
In the interview area, we see Lillian Garcia standing next to ECW champ Hitman Jack. The "Lethal Canadian" is standing proudly with the title belt strapped around his waist, hands on his hips. Lillian addresses the camera.
Lillian: "Hello everyone! I am joined tonight by the ECW Champion... Hitman Jack! Hitman, how does it feel to enter your 2nd month as champ?"
Hitman: "Lillian, it feels great. Beating Craig Bullet last Friday was an awesome feeling. Completely validated my claims that he wasn't worth the mat that we fought on. He can't have success on his own!"
Lillian: "It was an impressive victory. What is next for you?"
Hitman: "I'm not sure, but I'm definitely looking forward to moving on. I'd love a new challenge. I'm a fighting champion, and I won't back down from anyone."
Suddenly, Hitman is attacked! Lillian shrieks and heads for cover, and the camera pans back to reveal... the Bullet Boyz! The Tag Team champs jump their rival and put the beatdown on him quickly, and Hitman can't even fight back! Tony tosses him hard against a metal crate, and Craig slams his face into a door! Finally, they both whip him into a pile of metal shelving and Hitman just lays in pain. Craig and Tony brush off their hands and seem pleased with the results of their unexpected assault. They leave and the camera gets a closeup shot of an injured Hitman, wincing with every breath, as the segment ends!

Women's Championship (Fatal 4-Way Battle Royal):
Eve Torres {C} vs. Kelly Kelly vs.
Jersey Jenny vs. Michelle McCool
A huge 4-way title match is about to get underway as Eve looks to defend her Women's belt in an over-the-top-rope battle! Kelly Kelly comes out first, and she seems ready to possibly reclaim the title she lost back in February. Next, the "Shore's Princess" struts to the ring confidently and taunts the Houston crowd with her seductive ring entrance. Michelle is next out and she appears pumped up and ready for the big title bout. Finally, the champ arrives and the Houston crowd gives her a rousing ovation! Eve seems very excited to be out here for the match, even though the odds may be against her, and enjoys the fans' support. The bell rings and the female grapplers go at it, with the gold on the line!
Jenny and Kelly battle it out while Michelle tangles with the champ to start things off. A few minutes in, Jersey Jenny punches Kelly up against the ropes and begins to push on her. Kelly tries to claw her way out, but eventually Jenny is able to lift her over the ropes and to the floor below! Michelle and Jenny try to team up against Eve, but the champ battles out and saves herself from elimination. Soon after, Eve tosses Michelle against the ropes... and a flying dropkick sends McCool out of the match!
It's down to Eve and Jersey Jenny, but the champ looks determined to retain. Jenny tries her best to fight back, but a series of impressive moves has her reeling in the corner as Eve motions to the excited crowd! She wants that final elimination, and she has her foe right where she wants her!
But suddenly... Eric Executioner's music hits! The expression on Eve's face changes from excitement to overwhelming fear, and she stops dead in her tracks. The Women's champ turns slowly towards the stage, and her fear is realized when... World Heavyweight champ Eric E. and his manager Mr. Black appear! Eric stands intimidatingly with his arms crossed, while Mr. Black rubs his hands together with a sly smirk on his face. In the ring, Eve shakes her head and appears scared and extremely upset. She moans in fear as Mr. Black stares at her creepily from the stage, and she has to grab onto the nearest rope to keep herself from falling down.
The distraction allows Jersey Jenny enough time to recover, and she races over... and shoves an unsuspecting Eve over the top rope! Eve goes crashing to the floor below, and the referee calls for the bell! Jersey Jenny has just won the Women's Title!!!
Jenny is shocked and raises her arms in celebration, and then begins jumping around joyfully after the referee hands her the title belt! Outside on the ringside floor, Eve glances around in utter shock as she slowly comes to the realization of what happened. She watches in disbelief as a jubilant Jenny prances excitedly around the ring, and then turns to look at the stage. Mr. Black cackles loudly and Eve's jaw drops to the floor. Did they come out to cause a distraction to make her lose her precious title?
Eve rubs her forehead in anger and exasperation, and places a hand against her hip. The crowd is in shock as well, and after a few moments, Eric and Mr. Black head towards backstage. Eve looks around the arena and just seems to be searching for answers, but none seem to be there. In the ring, Jenny continues to celebrate the shocking title win!

MAIN EVENT:
Zach Wesley & G.L.O.W. (Joseph T. Lutte & Quinn Cadbury) vs.
Rusty, Guy Justice & Rebel Ford
To close out the show, a huge 6-man tag match featuring 2 champions had the fans excited for a hotly-contested battle. The crowd roars in vicious boos as AC/DC's "Moneytalks" echoes throughout the arena, and the G.L.O.W. team saunters out with a lot of confidence. The most confident is clearly Joseph T. Lutte, the newest reigning Intercontinental champ. At Sunday's Summerslam PPV, Joseph pinned Antonio Jordan to claim his 3rd Intercontinental belt in a little over a year and taunted the crowd proudly as he walked to the ring with Quinn. After the European duo entered the ring, their partner Zach Wesley came out to his own round of jeers from the crowd. The "Mohawked Maniac" tried to intimidate the fans and chatted strategy briefly with his teammates as they awaited their opponents.
The Houston fans were relieved when the next man came out, and they cheered loudly for Cruiserweight champ Rusty! The "2 Xtreme" superfan seemed very focused as he approached the ring. The "True Savior" made his entrance next and walked slowly to the ring with his sweatshirt hood up over his head. Finally, the crowd fired up for the rebellious fan favorite! Rebel Ford walked out and acknowledged the crowd's support, but he seemed to be in an odd mood as he walked down the ramp. When he approached the ring, he paused for a moment to shake off the cobwebs and then fired himself up as he joined his teammates. The European duo shared a confident high-five as Quinn volunteered to start while Rebel and Guy patted Rusty on the back and gave him words of encouragement as the Cruiserweight champ agreed to start for his team. The bell rang and the big main event was underway!
Rusty and Quinn traded some basic grappling moves to start, but Rusty's speed allowed him to take control. After landing a few solid moves, Rusty tosses Quinn into his team's corner and tags in Guy Justice. Rusty and Justice deliver an impressive double-team flapjack, but Joseph rushes in to break up the ensuing pinfall attempt. Justice pounds Quinn for a minute, but a sneaky reversal allowed Quinn to turn the tide. Cadbury lands a series of maneuvers before tagging in Joseph, and the Europeans blast the "Savior" with a double-team move as Joseph leaps off the turnbuckle to combo an elbow drop with Quinn's backbreaker.
Joseph continues the assault, but finally Justice reverses with a powerslam! Joseph crawls to the corner and tags in Zach, and the "Maniac" quickly begins to hurt the "Savior". Zach seems to have the advantage, but when he whips Justice into the ropes hoping for a clothesline, he surprisingly runs right into another powerslam! Justice dashes to his corner, and sends in a fired up Rebel! Rebel attacks Wesley quickly, dropping him with a bunch of moves and catches him with a Guard Breaker signature! Rusty desperately wants a tag, and Rebel gives it to him. The Cruiserweight champ jumps onto the turnbuckle, and comes flying down onto Zach with his Rusty Wheel finisher! Rusty tries for the cover, but Joseph is able to break it up just in the nick of time.
Zach crawls over to his corner and tags Quinn back in, and Cadbury battles hard to change the momentum. Rusty escapes and tags Rebel back in, and the former World champ again knocks his foe around. After snapping Quinn down with another Guard Breaker, Rebel follows up with his Poetic Justice finishing move! Rebel goes for the cover, but again Joseph manages to keep his team alive by breaking up the pin. Quinn and Joseph start using their tag-team prowess to rattle Rebel, and after landing a nasty DDT, we can see blood start to seep from Rebel's forehead! Rebel sits up and rubs his forehead, where a small cut is seen. Rebel manages to get to his corner and tags in Justice, and the fresh "Savior" comes into the match with a full head of steam!
Justice drops Quinn with a suplex, but as he stands up, Joseph reaches in and locks his arms at the ropes. Quinn gathers himself and delivers a dirty eye gouge, drawing the angry ire of the referee. The dirty move angers Justice and he starts snapping Cadbury down with big moves. He tosses Quinn into the corner, lifts him onto the turnbuckle... and delivers a hellacious superplex! With Quinn reeling, Justice snatches him and drops him with a hard Harsh Truth! Justice motions to Rusty and Rebel... who race across the ring to attack Zach and Joseph! With chaos around, Justice steadies himself as Quinn staggers to his feet... and the "Savior" delivers another Harsh Truth! Justice goes for the pin, and the referee counts the 1-2-3!!!
The crowd goes wild for the victorious fan favorites as they celebrate proudly for the huge win! Joseph helps Quinn out of the ring, and the Intercontinental champ seems frustrated with the tough loss. As Justice and Rusty acknowledge the fans' cheers, Rebel Ford looks around deep in thought again. The distraught, confused look on Rebel's face with his winning teammates celebrating behind him is the strange final image of the show!

Week 2
A cool Friday night in Colorado Springs, Colorado is where another LIVE edition of Smackdown is held!
Backstage Segment
The show opens up with a wide camera shot of the parking lot, and we slowly pan back to reveal Eve Torres standing innocently by the arena door. She appears to be waiting for someone, and after a few anxious moments a car pulls into the lot. Eve looks up when she spots the headlights and tilts her head to study the car in the dimly-lit parking lot, but seems to recognize the vehicle and steps towards it. The car parks and out of it steps... Rebel Ford! Rebel looks over and notices Eve walking slowly towards him, and a bright smile comes over his face. He jogs over to meet her halfway and seems very happy to see her.
Rebel: "Eve! Oh my god, I'm so glad to see you! How you've been? I've been trying..."
But before Rebel can finish, Eve raises a hand to his mouth and politely quiets him. Rebel looks confused and the look on Eve's face is definitely not excitement. She takes a deep breath and speaks.
Eve: "Rebel... I waited for you so I could talk to you directly. I didn't want you to be distracted thinking about me. I thought it would be best to tell you in person."
Rebel: "Tell me... tell me what?"
Eve: "I'm leaving, Rebel. I'm... I'm going to take a vacation. An extended vacation."
Rebel: "A vacation? Why? Where?"
Eve: "Don't worry about where. I'm not telling anyone. I just need a break. I don't feel safe here on Smackdown. It's become obvious to me that Eric and Mr. Black won't leave me alone. I don't know how I became their target, but I can't handle it. And I've come to the realization that you can't protect me."
Rebel: "Protect you? I've been trying to..."
Eve: "It doesn't matter how hard you try. Mr. Black will always find a way to have control over me... both physically and mentally. I can't handle it. I don't know what you could've done differently, but he always seems to find a way to maintain the psychological advantage. Last week was the final straw. I always thought that if I could just focus on my Women's Title that eventually he wouldn't bother me. I am no threat to him or Eric, yet they still had to come out and cause me to lose the one thing I had control over."
Rebel: "But Eve, if you could just listen..."
Eve: "Rebel... I know you care. I appreciate our relationship but... you're just in over your head. And I'm roped into it now too. The only way I can find safety is if I escape now... before anything worse happens. I'm sorry, Rebel. Good bye."
Eve steps forward and kisses Rebel on the cheek. She seems very sad, and a few seconds later, a taxi cab pulls up in the parking lot. Eve gives Rebel a deep glance and then climbs into the cab. The taxi pulls away and the camera pans around to focus in on Rebel. The rebellious fan favorite appears to be very distraught and heartbroken over Eve's comments. But gradually, the sadness turns into intense, furious anger. A fuming Rebel is the lasting image as the segment comes to a close!

Jersey Jenny (w/ Paulie Dominos) vs. Alicia Fox
It's two of the Smackdown Divas that will kick off the night's matches, including the NEW Women's Champion! LMFAO's "Party Rock" theme hits the speakers and many members of the crowd can be seen dancing, and Jersey Jenny comes strutting out rocking her new title belt! Her brother Paulie Dominos joins her during her entrance, and they boogie in the ring with a boatload of confidence and glee. Alicia Fox makes her entrance next and loosens up as Jenny and Paulie D. mock her overtly. The bell rings and the women go at it!
Alicia gets control early with some strikes and a snapmare takedown, but the Women's champ battles back. After planting Alicia with a Lou Thesz Press and several follow-up punches, Jenny has the momentum. She drops her foe with a running bulldog, and then climbs the turnbuckle. When Alicia staggers to her feet, Jenny leaps off and catches her with a fist drop right to the forehead! The "Shore's Princess" grabs Alicia's leg, and taunts the crowd as she signals for her signature submission! Jenny locks Alicia up in her Tied Up figure-four leglock, and Alicia screams in pain as the Women's champ applies the pressure!
Alicia finally reaches the ropes, but the damage is done. When she rises slowly up off the mat, J.J. is waiting! The Women's champ delivers her Beautiful Knockout combo of punches, and the final haymaker sends Alicia crashing to the mat! Jenny goes for the cover, and the referee counts the pinfall to give her the win!

Backstage Interview
A few moments after the match, Jersey Jenny and Paulie Dominos are seen laughing it up as they walk backstage. They are approached by Lillian Garcia for a quick interview.
Lillian: "Jenny! Paulie! Could we have a quick word?"
Jenny: "Sure, Lillian!"
Lillian: "So the big question is of course... what's it feel like to be Women's Champion?"
Jenny: "OH MY GOD, it feels great! I knew that once I made it up to the main roster, I would steamroll all these so-called 'Divas'. None of them can fight like me! When I won last week, I was so shocked but we went out and partied all weekend long!"
Paulie: "Oh yeah! My baby sis can get crazy with the best of them!"
Lillian: "So what's next for you? Now that you're champ, I'm sure that puts a big target on your back."
Jenny: "Target? Ha! Who cares? Any broad thinks that they can take me, BRING... IT... ON! I'll snap on anyone at any time, especially anyone who dares to take this title from me! But for real... what's next for us... is to party!!! Screw the rest of this show! Another full weekend at the clubs! Let's go!"
Paulie: "Oh yeah! Lead the way, sis!"
Jenny and Paulie D. prance off down the hall as a surprised Lillian watches them leave to end the segment.

After a brief commercial break, the shows returns with a shot of the parking lot and a black town car pulls in. The back door opens and out steps... Mr. Black! The sinister manager steps out with a sly smile and then makes way for his client, World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner. The narcissist steps out in a nice suit, and tosses his title belt over his shoulder. Mr. Black proudly pats him on the back and the duo make their way towards the arena doors.
The camera switches to the announce table, where Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler discuss the recent events surrounding the creepy duo. Michael announces a huge main event... Eric versus Antonio Jordan! The announcing pair continue to the chat as the next match gets underway.

Hitman Jack vs. Tony Bullet
Last week on Smackdown, ECW champ Hitman Jack remarked that he was looking forward to "moving on" after defending his title against Craig Bullet days before Summerslam. But near the end of the interview, Craig & tag team partner Tony attacked the "Lethal Canadian" and left him beaten to send a message that they clearly weren't ready to move on. Tonight, Hitman squares off against Tony in a one-on-one matchup with hopes of diffusing the volatile situation!
Hitman enters first and draws a huge ovation from the Colorado Springs crowd, and the ECW champ looks focused and determined to pick up a huge victory. Tony Bullet, one-half of the Tag Team champs, enters next and taunts the crowd angrily as they boo him fiercely. Tony walks around the ring and suddenly we see an interesting spectator... Craig himself watching the match from the front row! Hitman points him out to the referee, but Craig holds up a front-row ticket! Tony slaps hands with his foster brother and an irritated Hitman Jack scowls and prepares for the match. The bell rings and the two rivals face off!
Despite Tony's quickness advantage and the distraction of Craig watching nearby, Hitman is able to focus and maintains control of the match almost throughout. A series of suplexes and a stiff running elbow drop has Tony reeling, and the ECW champ wastes no time in revving up for a big move! As Tony staggers up from the mat, Hitman stalks him from behind, snatches him... and drops him with his Jack Flash signature! Jack goes right into a pinning combination and the referee is able to count the pinfall cleanly, giving the ECW champ the surprising quick victory!

Post-Match Segment
Seconds after the bell rings, Craig leaps over the barricade and slides into the ring, causing a startled Hitman Jack to back up slightly. Craig helps his partner up and a menacing smirk appears on the face the "High-Flyin' Criminal". Tony shakes off the cobwebs and the Bullet Boyz turn to face Hitman, and it quickly seems like the ECW champ is cornered! The crowd buzzes with anticipation, wondering if Hitman will flee... or fight! The "Lethal Canadian" glances around as his rivals inch closer to him, but all of a sudden... a smile crosses his face, he shrugs to the crowd... and attacks the Tag Team champs!
A vicious brawl breaks out, and Hitman's initiative has the Bullet Boyz reeling! Hitman swings wildly, switching off between both men as they try to fight back, and seems to have the upper hand. But suddenly, a swift kick from Craig to the back of the ECW champ's knee causes him to buckle his stance, and the Bullet Boyz pounce on the moment of weakness. Craig and Tony stomp, punch and outright maul Hitman as he gradually falls to the mat and gets overwhelmed by the numbers game. It looks like another successfully planned assault until...
... H.E.R.O.'s music hits!!! The rising rookie races down to the ring and tackles Tony, evening the odds quickly! H.E.R.O. nails the "Villain" with a combo of strikes, and then tosses him over the top rope and to the floor below! The crowd goes wild as he re-focuses on the other attacker, and Craig turns to realize that he is now the outnumbered one! When the "Criminal" makes eye contact with the fired up intruder, rage fills him and he sprints at H.E.R.O.... but the rookie nails him with a dropkick! H.E.R.O. grabs Craig, pulls him near the ropes, lifts him up... and suplexes him over and down hard to the ringside floor!
The Bullet Boyz frustratingly head for the back, shocked that H.E.R.O. was able to take them both out! H.E.R.O. taunts them and then turns around and slowly approaches the hurt Hitman, who had crawled to the corner. The ECW champ looks up and around, and finally realizes that H.E.R.O. had gotten rid of those jerks! H.E.R.O. helps the "Lethal Canadian" up to his feet... and shakes his hand! Jack is astonished by the rookie's actions, but meets his handshake as the crowd erupts into huge cheers!

Backstage Segment
Back in the locker room, we come across the G.L.O.W. team hanging out and chatting. Joseph T. Lutte is reading up on a recent Forbes magazine, his Intercontinental Title belt draped over his thigh. Quinn Cadbury sits nearby, stretching and preparing for his match later against Rebel Ford. Quinn seems to be continuously glancing over at Joseph's title belt, with thoughtful expressions coming over his face every so often. Joseph laughs at something he read, and tosses the magazine into his locker. He picks up his title belt and polishes off a rough spot. Finally, Quinn speaks his mind.
Quinn: "So old chap... when are you going to give ME a chance at that title belt? I sacrificed to help you win it. I think it's only fair that we have a friendly competition over it."
Joseph is surprised by the Englishman's inquiry, and slowly glances over at him. Quinn smirks a bit, but there is an air of seriousness in his expression. Joseph studies his look, but suddenly he begins to chuckle.
Joseph: "Ahh... ha ha! Good one, my friend!"
Quinn shares in the laugh, but a slight furrow of his brow tells a different story. Joseph doesn't notice it and continues to chat.
Joseph: "I think I'm going to take a look at the main event match between Eric Executioner and Antonio Jordan tonight. Definitely want to see how that silly American sizes up against that eerie World Heavyweight Champion. I have a feeling he's going to want a rematch, and I want to be prepped for it. Plus, it doesn't hurt to get an eye on Eric."
Joseph rises off of his seat and begins to head for the door. Quinn watches him leave with a studying glance. Just before the "Fantastic Frenchman" leaves, he turns back.
Joseph: "Oh, by the way... I won't be at ringside for you tonight. Good luck against Rebel, my friend!"
Joseph disappears through the locker room door, and the camera pans back to catch Quinn's reaction. He clearly seems bothered by Joseph's disregard for his comment, and continues to stretch out with an odd, thoughtful look on his face as the segment ends.

Pre-Match Segment
After a quick commercial break, we return to the locker room again where we see a very distraught, confused and angry Rebel Ford pacing back and forth. He is clenching and unclenching his fists, folding and unfolding his arms and just basically seems uncomfortable. He seems to be in a weird state of mind as his match against Quinn Cadbury is coming up next. The expressions on his face continually change from depressed... to intense anger... to bewilderment... to downright psychotic.
In a fit of rage, Rebel looks around for something and his hands outstretch in hopes of picking something up. Finally, he spots an object he wants... a lonely steel chair! Rebel grabs the chair hastily, snaps it closed, takes a deep breath... and heads for the ring as the segment ends!

Quinn Cadbury vs. Rebel Ford
The crowd elicits a hugely negative response to the sound of Quinn's music, but the "English Gentleman" parades down to the ring with a lot of confidence. He clearly seems ready to compete directly with the former World champ, and after taunting the crowd enough as he climbs into the ring, he spends his time loosening himself up. The crowd changes course when Rebel's theme hits, but it is a very different Rebel that bursts through the curtains. Rebel walks briskly to the ring... lugging that ominous steel chair with him! The look of careless insanity is plastered on his face, and Quinn watches his opponent approach in fear!
Quinn tries to get the referee to intervene, but the startled official is unsure what Rebel is about to do. The rebellious fan favorite slides into the ring, gripping and dangling the chair by his side as he glares holes in Cadbury's shocked face! The referee stops him for a moment, ordering him to put the weapon aside, but Rebel just stares straight ahead and seems oblivious to the referee's demands! Finally, Rebel snaps... and swings the chair right across Quinn's head! The referee calls for a DQ before the match had even begun!
But Rebel's nasty shot is not the end of the situation... by a long shot. Rebel looks down at his weaken foe with that same crazed look in his eye, and the crowd is unsure how to react to his unwarranted attack. But suddenly... Rebel winds up and starts to unleash a furious chair attack! Rebel repeatedly smacks the chair against Quinn's back, chest and legs, and the British grappler groans loudly with every shot! The referee seems powerless to stop it, and motions to the back for more help. A flurry of backstage officials and crew members race to the ring, and try to reason with Rebel to stop this unbelievable assault. After several failed attempts to talk him down, the officials and crew members wrestle the chair out of Rebel's hands and separate him from his beaten opponent. Rebel barely shows any remorse for what he has done, and shakes off the men trying to hold him back.
Rebel turns and walks out of the ringside area quickly, heading toward backstage without even a hint of emotion. Medical personnel arrive and tend to the injured Cadbury, and the crowd silent yet shocked reaction fills the arena!

In-Ring Talk Segment:
"In Search of Truth" featuring Guy Justice
After a commercial break, we return to the ring where the elaborate setup for Guy Justice's "In Search of Truth" talk segment is ready to go! A few moments pass before Guy's music hits, and the Colorado Springs crowd gives him a relatively warm welcome as he heads down to the ring. The "True Savior" climbs into the ring and stands proudly, listening intently to the crowd's reaction. After the last controversial talk segment, the fans are buzzing about what's in store for episode #2!
Justice: "Good evening, my brothers and sisters, and welcome to another edition of 'In Search of Truth'! Tonight we will journey down the path of a very troubled man and attempt to lead him to a path of enlightenment. Our first try was unsuccessful, but there's no reason to give in now. We MUST continue to look out for all people, regardless of race, gender, age or personality. We can all learn to make better choices, and in turn, create a better life! So tonight, I am very pleased to invite... Zach Wesley!"
The crowd gives a slightly startled reaction, as the "Savior" is going to bring out the "Mohawked Maniac"! Guy motions towards the stage and awaits his guest, and the fans wait impatiently as well. Finally, Zach's harrowing Slipknot theme hits and a very annoyed "Maniac" walks out onto the stage. He pauses for a moment to observe the situation, and then begrudgingly makes his way to the ring. He climbs in and Justice offers a handshake. Wesley looks down at the gesture, looks up into Guy's eyes, and brushes past him without meeting the handshake. Zach plops down on the guest's chair and motions for Justice to get on with it. Justice pulls up in the chair next to him and begins the segment!
Justice: "Mr. Wesley... you have been a very intriguing character in WWE, so much so that the details of your background are very unclear. Wild rumors have followed you for years, but you have yet to address any of them or reveal the actual truth of your upbringing. Tonight, I hope to offer you a safe avenue in which you can share any information you deem necessary. I want to pose a very simple question: Where are you from, and what brought you here to WWE?"
Justice lowers his mic and nods towards Zach, prompting him to respond. The "Maniac", who has seemed disinterested in this whole segment, slowly turns his head to face his host. He gives Justice a stern look and doesn't look like he's going to respond. Justice eventually raises his mic and continues.
Justice: "Maybe that question was too deep. Let's start off smaller. Let's address some of the rumors that many have discussed regarding your potential past. One of the rumors involve you as an escaped German convict. You do seem to have some European descent, so the rumor seems at least partially credible. Would you like to comment on this alleged rumor?"
Again, Zach scowls at Justice and the microphone he's holding over his thigh doesn't even budge. The "Savior" tries to appear warm and encouraging, but he just seems to annoy the "Maniac" more. Without a response, Justice tries again to prompt his guest.
Justice: "Maybe that rumor just isn't true. Let's tackle another rumor. There's..."
Finally, Wesley raises his mic and interrupts Justice.
Zach: "I know what you're trying to do, Justice. You're trying to butter me up, make me feel all warm and fuzzy and reveal to you my inner, deepest secrets. Then after that, we can make s'mores by the campfire and sing lovely songs. Well I don't want any part of this. I'm not telling you or any of these people anything."
Justice: "Hmm... interesting. Why are you so hesitant to discuss your background? It might help you connect with some of the people in the audience or watching at home."
Zach: "Because it's none of their business! It's none of your business too! I don't want to or need to connect with anyone. All I want to do is to come out here every night and FIGHT. That's it. I don't need to have fans. I don't need to be popular. I want to smash somebody's face in and then take a shower. That is my only motivation."
Justice purses his lips and nods his head as if he understands the "Maniac". A smirk comes over his face as he responds.
Justice: "Maybe the reason why you only want to fight is because you haven't connected with anyone. In fact, if we look back at the last year for you... it seems like you've taken a large fall. You had a strong tag team with Billy Carter and captured the Tag Team Titles together. You won the ECW Title in June and held it for over 6 months."
Zach: "Yeah... I... yeah that was a good run."
Justice: "And you had a rough month of December. Lost both titles, kind of lost your momentum. It happens. It happens to the best of us."
Zach: "Yeah that was... rough."
Justice: "And since that point, it's been a struggle to try and reclaim that glory you felt, huh?"
Zach: "Yeah... uhh... it's been real hard."
Justice: "So now, instead of focusing on getting back to that mental place where you were having success, you've only focused on causing pain to others. This need to fight... it's just a defensive mechanism. You're trying to protect yourself from feeling pain."
Zach: "I... I guess. I don't really think it's that deep but..."
Suddenly, Justice leaps off his chair and kneels next to Zach, inches from his guest's face. Zach leans back but doesn't react yet.
Justice: "Come with me, my brother. Join me on a new path. Join me and let your pain go! Find that old glory... and make it a new glory!"
Justice stands up with his arms outstretched and his face illuminated by the spotlight. Zach glances around in slight uncertainty and seems to be deep in thought. He looks up at Justice, who turns around and extends a hand.
Justice: "Take my hand... join me!"
Zach studies the gesture for a few moments, almost as if he's hypnotized. But finally, he seems to snap out of the trance. He snarls, abruptly rises and shoves Justice back.
Zach: "I told you I wanted no part of this! I don't need to follow you anywhere. I want to end this and shut you up for good. I want a match next week. All I want to do is fight, and now... all I want to do is fight YOU."
The "Maniac" shoves Justice again, climbs out of the ring and walks off. Justice seems disappointed in Wesley's reaction, but brushes himself off and stands with pride as the segment comes to an end!

Antonio Jordan vs. Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black)
The crowd seems hyped already as the main event approaches, and they burst into huge cheers when Antonio's theme hits the speakers! The "Mastermind" walks out and gives off his signature "Reach for the Sky" taunt, and a round of pyro blasts off to work the crowd into a frenzy. Antonio seems pumped up for the match, which gives him an opportunity to face off against the World Heavyweight champ! Antonio climbs into the ring, acknowledges the crowd's support and uses the ropes to stretch out. But as Antonio awaits his opponent, an interesting non-participant shows up... Joseph T. Lutte! The Intercontinental champ strolls down to the ring to his entrance music, which surprises and angers Antonio. He taunts Antonio with the title belt a bit, and then joins Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler at the announce table! Antonio gestures angrily and shouts at the "Fantastic Frenchman", but Joseph motions to him to worry about the match.
Soon after their little encounter, Eric's music echoes throughout the arena and the crowd roars with boos and jeers for the narcissist and his evil manager! Eric walks out proudly with his World Title wrapped around his waist and rubs his wrists as he strolls to the ring. Near the ring, he stops and Mr. Black chats with him briefly before climbing into the ring. Antonio eyes the champ with an unbreakable attitude, while Eric smirks as if to communicate that he is not concerned with this opponent. At the announce table, Joseph remarks that he would love to see Antonio get the "beating of a lifetime". The bell rings, and this main event is on!
Eric comes out swinging, but "America's Favorite" is ready and counters quickly! Antonio lays into the World champ with strikes to the head and body, and even when Eric tosses him into the corner, Antonio ducks a punch and delivers a startling uppercut! Antonio follows up with a quick series of moves, including a belly-to-back suplex and a damaging knee drop. Outside the ring, Mr. Black begins to appear concerned as Antonio continues to dominate the match. Joseph rises out of his seat near the announce table and seems displeased with the ring action too. After Antonio plants the World champ with a suplex, he spots Joseph up and gives a little taunt in the Frenchman's direction! Joseph taunts back with the title belt again, which causes a little anger to bubble up inside the "Mastermind". The distraction is enough to allow Eric to recover, and when Antonio turns, the narcissist catches him with a spine-shattering clothesline!
Eric starts to take out his built-up anger on his opponent, rattling him with some very stiff moves. Mr. Black nods in approval and seems to be more comfortable with the match action now. But as Eric continues to wear down his foe, another person makes his presence known... Krizz Torture! Krizz comes down through the crowd, jumps the barricade and immediately starts causing a problem! Krizz leaps onto the apron, which draws the attention of both the referee and Eric. The old rivals talk trash to each other, as the ref tries to keep them apart and get Krizz out of the match proceedings. Krizz's interference also catches the ire of Mr. Black, who begins to stroll over towards him. Krizz notices the creepy manager approaching, and is spooked enough to step down and back away from the ring!
In the ring, Eric turns back... but Antonio rolls him up in a school-boy pin! The referee counts 1... 2... KICKOUT! The World champ sits up in shock as the "Mastermind" nearly stole a big victory! The crowd exhales too as it seems like Krizz's distraction would have been the turning point, but the match still rolls on. The two grapplers trade blows, and it clear that both of them want to badly pick up the win.
But suddenly... yet another person gets involved in this matchup! But this time, this person has their head and face covered up by a hood and scarf... and they are carrying a steel chair! The person steps onto the the ramp and slowly stalks to the ring, and the crowd seems very confused. Eric and Antonio continue to battle in the ring unaware, but after Antonio whips the World champ into a corner... the intruder enters the ring! Antonio is surprised by the sudden appearance, and spots the dangerous steel chair in their hand! The intruder takes a step towards Antonio, and the "Mastermind" backs up but seems ready to fight if necessary. Eric staggers out of the corner and suddenly notices the intruder too, and steps towards him with a confused look.
After a few anxious moments, the intruder grabs the chair with their other hand... and smacks it over Eric's head! The force of the chair shot knocks the World champ out, and he collapses to the mat. Antonio's jaw drops and the referee takes a moment to come to his senses, and calls for the disqualification against Antonio! The "Mastermind" argues with the referee, claiming he has no role in the intruder's attack. The intruder stands over Eric and looks down at him, and the crowd is in a weird state of bewilderment. After Antonio's argument gets nowhere, he turns his attention back to the violent intruder. He carefully walks over and studies them intently, hoping to not provoke another attack. Antonio reaches up slowly and grabs the intruder's hood, but the intruder doesn't stop him. The "Mastermind" pulls back the hood to reveal...
... REBEL FORD!!! The crowd is shocked and Antonio himself staggers back in surprise. Rebel looks around seemingly in a psychotic trance, and meets the glare of Mr. Black. The two share an intense staredown for a few moments, and then Rebel looks back down at the unconscious World champ! The stirring image of Rebel staring down at his rival is the final image of an explosive show!

Week 3
Tuscon, Arizona is a gracious host for another LIVE edition of Smackdown!
Backstage Segment
The show opens backstage in the parking lot, where we witness the arrival of Rebel Ford. The normally cool Rebel seemed to have a mental breakdown last week, viciously attacking Quinn Cadbury in his scheduled match and causing a DQ in the main event when he smacked World Heavyweight champ and rival Eric Executioner with a steel chair. The angry look on Rebel's face as he enters the arena is reminiscent of last week's actions, and walks briskly with fire in his eyes. As he heads towards the locker room, a voice calls out.
Antonio: "Hey! Rebel!"
Rebel comes to a stop but just looks straight ahead. From a side hallway, Antonio Jordan approaches him and wants to chat. He walks in front of Rebel and Rebel calms a bit and meets his gaze. Antonio addresses him sternly.
Antonio: "Hey man... I just want you to know that I wasn't real pleased with having to suffer a DQ loss last week. Whatever you're going through right now makes no difference to me. You got beef with Eric and that Mr. Black dude? Fine. But you don't need to be causing losses for people you don't have beef with... like me."
Rebel takes a deep breath and responds in a low tone of voice.
Rebel: "I'm sorry but... I have business to take care of. I'm not going to pay attention to others' wins and losses."
Antonio: "Well it may not matter to you, but it matters to me. So I have a simple solution that should help both of us. I want to team up with you tonight. I want you to help me earn that loss back."
Rebel: "Team up with you? I'd rather work alone. Your problems don't concern me right now."
Antonio: "Well they should. And I've already worked out the match details, so I'm sure you'll be enticed. You and I will take on Joseph T. Lutte... and Eric Executioner. Main event tag team match. Interested now?"
The idea of possibly getting his hands on Eric seems to pique Rebel's interest, but he still doesn't seem happy. He slowly begins to nod and responds.
Rebel: "Fine. I'll team up. See you later."
Rebel starts walking away, but Antonio reaches and grabs his forearm to stop him.
Antonio: "Oh... and one more thing. Try to keep your cool out there tonight."
Rebel stares blankly at Antonio for a moment, doesn't respond and shakes off his hand. Rebel walks away and the "Mastermind" watches him leave, shaking his head in disappointment. Tonight's main even will be Antonio & Rebel against the "Fantastic Frenchman" and the World Heavyweight Champion narcissist!

H.E.R.O. (w/ Hitman Jack) vs. Craig Bullet (w/ Tony Bullet)
This anticipated matchup developed after last week's surprising save by the rising rookie, when H.E.R.O. disposed of the Bullet Boyz after another attack of ECW champ Hitman Jack. The Tag Team champs wanted some retribution for their stopped attempt to assault Jack, and Craig stepped up to challenge H.E.R.O. to a match. Hitman elected to join H.E.R.O. at ringside to pay him back for his help, so the fans are extremely interested to see this show-opening battle!
The fans send out cheers as H.E.R.O.'s Foo Fighters theme hits and the rising rookie walks confidently to the ring, with ECW champ Hitman Jack trailing slowly behind. Hitman seems supportive for him but seems a little skeptical. Soon after, the "High-Flyin' Criminal" makes his entrance with his tag partner walking just behind. Craig ignores the fans' boos and keeps his eyes trained on his opponent, climbing into the ring and purposefully walking past him on his way to the corner for his signature back flip. The two men get ready and the ref calls for the bell!
Both men utilize their wrestling skills early on, trading some chain grappling moves and impressing everyone with their speed. A sneaky eye gouge gives Craig an advantage, and he starts to use his leaping ability to damage H.E.R.O. He uses the ropes as a springboard for a body splash, performs a standing back flip splash and then flies off the turnbuckle for a corkscrew splash! Craig goes for the cover, but H.E.R.O. is narrowly able to get a shoulder up after 2.
Hitman seems to approve of H.E.R.O. skills and begins to visibly cheer him on. Hitman's support draws a little trash talk from Tony, who doesn't appreciate the ECW champ's comments. While the match continues on, the two rivals gradually get closer to each other until they are face to face, trading verbal barbs! A fed-up Tony delivers an unexpected punch, which starts a brawl! The referee notices the fistfight developing outside the ring, and intervenes to send the match managers away! Tony tries to argue his case, but the ref doesn't want to hear it. Hitman is disappointed with the decision but heads backstage reluctantly.
In the ring, Craig spots the commotion outside and takes his attention away to investigate. The distraction allows H.E.R.O. enough time to recover, and when Craig returns, the rookie drops him with a neckbreaker! The move switches the momentum for good, and H.E.R.O. quickly puts together a quick succession of manuevers, including a suplex, an elbow drop and a sit-out spinebuster! With Craig staggering, H.E.R.O. grabs him by the arm, places his foot against his jaw and nails the Fleet Foot signature! H.E.R.O. fires up the crowd as he prepares for his finisher, and waits for Craig to slowly rise off the mat. H.E.R.O. grabs his foe, lifts him onto his shoulder and twists him down with a cutter in his Heart Stopper finisher! H.E.R.O. covers, and the crowd is shocked when the referee counts the 3!
The rising rookie celebrates the huge upset as the crowd goes wild!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show backstage where we see ECW champ Hitman Jack hanging out in the locker room. He's polishing his title belt when we hear the locker room door open and someone enter. Jack looks up and a approving smile comes across his face. He stands up and greets... H.E.R.O.! The rising rookie is beaming excitedly after beating Craig Bullet a few minutes ago, and Hitman Jack gives him a firm pat on the back.
Hitman: "Hey pal! GREAT win out there. Sorry I couldn't stay out there for you. Those Bullet Boyz don't know how to watch their mouth, so I had to shut him up. The ref didn't seem to like it too much."
H.E.R.O.: "It's okay, no problem. I took care of business. I want to shut them up, too."
H.E.R.O. wipes off his face with the towel hanging around his neck. A curious expression comes over Hitman's face as he poses a question.
Hitman: "So I gotta ask you... why did you help me last week? It just seems somewhat random that you would help me."
H.E.R.O. is surprised to hear the question and scoffs at it a bit. He chuckles as he responds.
H.E.R.O.: "Well to be honest... I was sick and tired of watching them take advantage of someone. You're the ECW champ! You deserve a little respect. It's not right for them to team on you every single time. I felt it was the right time to even the odds. No more cheap attacks from those idiots."
Hitman: "Yeah that was getting old... and painful. So... I guess a 'thank you' is in order."
H.E.R.O.: "You don't need to thank me. I was just doing something that felt right."
Hitman: "Well, but I mean it. Probably wouldn't be in this kind of shape this week if you didn't help out."
H.E.R.O.: "Well... you're welcome."
H.E.R.O. nods at him and begins to head out. Hitman steps forward and lightly grabs his arm.
Hitman: "Whoa, pal. So I got a follow-up question..."
H.E.R.O. turns back to listen.
Hitman: "I wouldn't mind if you were there to help me out in the future too. Not only that, but I could get your back as well. You know that those Bullet Boyz are going to be coming after you now. I figured we could save ourselves some trouble... by just teaming up for good. What do you think?"
H.E.R.O. is surprised but pleased to hear the offer. He considers it for a moment, but then smiles and nods. He turns to face Hitman and they share a handshake.
H.E.R.O.: "Agreed. Let's tear those guys apart."
Hitman: "Awesome! So I think that if we're going to make it official, we probably should come up with a cool team name or whatever."
H.E.R.O.: "Team name, huh?"
Hitman: "Yeah, all those famous teams and partners have well-known nicknames. I figured we could come up with one ourselves before they give us one we hate."
H.E.R.O.: "Hmm... good idea. Let's think... Hitman Jack... H.E.R.O...."
Hitman: "I'm just not clever enough to come up with one. What you got?"
H.E.R.O.: "Well we could just go with something simple. Both of our names start with an H. Could we just go like... the 'H-Team'?... 'H times 2'?... hmmm..."
Hitman: "The 'H-Bomb'?"
H.E.R.O.: "'H Squared'? Like H2?"
Hitman: "Oh yeah! That's simple... and awesome! Good call, pal!"
They share another handshake and a shoulder pat. H.E.R.O. starts to head out again.
H.E.R.O.: "Nice! Well I'm going to go shower and wash this Bullet stink off me. We'll chat later... partner."
Hitman: "Sure thing, buddy. Talk to you soon."
H.E.R.O. leaves and the camera focuses in on a very confident and pleased ECW champ as the segment ends!

Angus vs. local wrestler
The Tucson crowd erupts into cheers for Mr. Money in the Bank himself, and the "Irish Giant" strolls down to the ring for the next match! Angus is going to put his growing unbeaten streak on the line against a smaller and quicker local wrestler, who is already warming up in the ring. Angus climbs into the ring confidently and greets the local wrestler happily, his massive hands overwhelming his foe's in a pre-match handshake. The referee calls for the bell and this match gets underway!
The local wrestler wisely uses his speed advantage to actually catch Angus with some nice moves, including a flurry of kicks to the body. It's pretty clear that Angus wanted this matchup to prove himself worthy against a different style of opponent, and works hard to overcome his quicker opponent. Eventually, the strength of the "Irish Giant" wears the local wrestler down. Angus delivers a few powerful slams to negate the speed disadvantage. With his opponent reeling, Angus tosses him into the ropes and nails him with a perfectly-timed big boot! Not wanting to further damage his opponent, Angus goes for the easy cover and scores the victorious pinfall!
The referee raises Angus's huge arm as the crowd gives him a solid ovation. Angus helps the local wrestler to his feet and gives him another big handshake, raising his opponent's arm in a great sign of sportsmanship.
WINNER: Angus

Post-Match Segment
As the local wrestler exits the ring, Angus requests a microphone. Mr. Money in the Bank accepts the mic from a ringside crew member and begins to address the crowd.
Angus: "Hello Tucson, and thank you kindly for the warm ovation. Makes an Irish man like myself feel welcomed here in the States. I wanted to give myself a challenge tonight against a quicker grappler, and I thought the man did a fine job. But while the victory feels good, as all victories should, I just don't feel satisfied yet. When I won the Money in the Bank briefcase a few months ago at WrestleMania, I thought it was a huge step for my career. I haven't found the right opportunity to cash it in... yet... but knowing I have it gives me a great amount of confidence. But as the current Money in the Bank winner and holder of that precious briefcase, I feel like I need to start a new challenge to prepare me for that moment. That moment when I decide to cash it in and hopefully win my first championship. I look around the Smackdown roster and I see that there is a lot of work left to do. A lot of wrongs that need to be right. There's a lot of good here. I can feel it. I can see it. I want to prove to everyone that I will be able to handle any adversity or challenges I will face... whenever I do become a champion."
The crowd is curious but buzzing with excitement over his words. Angus pauses for a moment, but then continues.
Angus: "So here's what I'm proposing. To any fella in the back that thinks they've got the BALLS to challenge my unbeaten streak, feel free to make yourself known. I'm leaving an open challenge out on the table. You want a piece of me? You want to topple the 'Giant'? Then step up to the plate and take a swing. Be mindful of the pain that awaits you, but feel free to give it a shot. Anybody. Any size. Step up! I want to prove to the world that I am an unstoppable, immovable force!"
The crowd gives him another ovation as Angus raises both of his arms with pride. The reigning Mr. Money in the Bank smiles proudly as the segment ends!

Backstage Segment
We venture backstage to the locker room, where we see the G.L.O.W. team chatting. Joseph T. Lutte is getting dressed in his ring gear, pulling his elbow pads onto his arms. His Intercontinental Title belt is hanging on a hook behind him, rotating and swaying slightly, with the lights bouncing off of it. Quinn Cadbury is sitting nearby, and he continually glances back and forth between the hanging belt and his tag partner. Quinn looks like he's about to muster up something to say, but just as he opens his mouth... two figures approach them. The European duo look up and see... World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner and Mr. Black! Eric stands tall and intimidating, while Mr. Black smirks at Joseph directly. The creepy manager speaks in a low but serious tone.
Mr. Black: "Hello Mr. Lutte. I just came by to discuss tonight's matchup. You are supposed to team up with my client, Eric Executioner. We would just like to discuss a bit of strategy with you."
Joseph: "Uhh... okay. What did you need to discuss?"
Mr. Black: "Basically we just need you to not do anything STUPID tonight. Stay out of the way, and let Eric do the work. All you need to do tonight is to give him a breather every now and then. And don't get pinned. Do you understand?"
Joseph scoffs disrespectfully towards Mr. Black's comments and shakes his head. Eric takes a step towards the "Fantastic Frenchman", and towers over him with an angry look on his face. Joseph leans back and becomes uneasy. Mr. Black repeats his question, and Joseph responds.
Mr. Black: "Do you... understand?"
Joseph: "Yes. I see what my expected role is."
Satisfied, Mr. Black turns and walks out. Eric takes a moment to stare Joseph down before following his manager out of the room. Joseph and Quinn watch them leave, and then Joseph turns to his English ally.
Joseph: "Now I can see why everyone hates them."
Quinn: "Yeah they can be bloody irritating. Speaking of irritating... I didn't appreciate you leaving me last week and allowing me to suffer that brutal attack from Rebel Ford. Lately it seems as if you're acting like you are above me. Remember, I helped you win that title back..."
Joseph: "... and I appreciate the help. I'm sorry for what happened to you last week. But it's pretty obvious that that Rebel character has lost his mind. Nobody could have predicted that he would attack you like that. I wanted to keep my eye on Antonio Jordan. I know he's wants his rematch and I don't know what he'll do."
Quinn: "But you and I... we are still on good terms, right?"
Joseph: "Us? Of course! You've been a trusted ally. I wouldn't want anything to come between us."
Joseph rises up from his seat, grabs his Intercontinental Title and takes a step towards the door. Quinn snaps up and stops him.
Quinn: "Wait, wait! Now where are you going?"
Joseph: "I need to focus on tonight's match. I'm going to go have some time to myself."
And before Quinn can call him back, Joseph is out the door. The "English Gentleman" doesn't seem satisfied with their conversation. He puts his hands on his hips and scoffs a bit to himself as the segment ends.

Backstage Segment
The camera switches over to the other locker room, where we see Zach Wesley throwing some shadow punches to warm up. His match with Guy Justice is up next. Zach was a guest on Justice's "In Search of Truth" talk segment last week and didn't appreciate the way the "True Savior" attempted to convince him to join him on a "new path". Wesley took offense and challenged Justice to a match.
Wesley rolls his neck and stretches out some more. In the background, we can hear the faint sound of a door opening. The camera pans around and we suddenly see... Guy Justice! The "True Savior" approaches Wesley quietly from behind and stands innocently nearby. Wesley looks up, sensing a presence and turns around to see his rival standing inches away. The "Mohawked Maniac" jumps back, and is confused and surprised to see his opponent.
Zach: "What the hell do you want, Justice? Our match is in a few minutes."
Justice: "I know. I just wanted to come by and wish you luck."
Zach: "Wish... me... luck? What the hell are you talking about?"
Justice: "It's a sign of good sportsmanship to wish luck to your opponent. I'm all about showing respect, win or lose. It's good practice."
Wesley is even more confused, and the more confused he gets, the angrier he gets. Justice smiles at him and extends a hand. Zach looks down at it in bewilderment.
Justice: "Good luck."
The anger bubbles to the surface, and suddenly... Wesley knocks Justice's hand away! The "Savior" is surprised, but he's even more surprised by the next action... a stiff punch to the face! The "Maniac" wildly attacks Justice, striking him repeatedly with hard blows as Justice tries unsuccessfully to fight back. Zach grabs him by the neck and tosses him into an open locker! Justice leans up against it, barely conscious. Wesley grabs him, lifts him up... and powerbombs him hard into the locker cabinets!
The assault continues until the commotion is heard by backstage crew members and officials, who run in and finally separate Zach from his beaten rival. The "Maniac" growls angrily and walks off. The camera zooms in on Justice, who is laying incapacitated on the locker room floor. Medical personnel check on him quickly as the segment ends!

Pre-Match Segment
After returning from a brief commercial break, we are taken to the announce table. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are discussing the recent backstage attack by Zach Wesley onto Guy Justice. Medical personnel have ruled that the "True Savior" cannot compete tonight, and his match against Wesley has been called off for tonight.

MAIN EVENT:
Antonio Jordan & Rebel Ford (w/ Krizz Torture) vs.
Eric Executioner & Joseph T. Lutte (w/ Mr. Black)
The Tucson crowd erupts into huge cheers when Antonio's Rise Against theme hits, and they cheer even more when the "Mastermind" himself walks out onto the stage! American Cool partner Krizz Torture joins him as well, and they stroll down to the ring excitedly. Antonio looks pumped up for the match tonight, and acknowledges the fans' support as he awaits the other match participants. One of those participants is his partner for the night, Rebel Ford! Rebel comes out and gets a solid reaction from the crowd, but Rebel is not in the mood to gesture or react to the fans. Rebel comes down to the ring and just paces outside feverishly. Antonio tries to remind him to stay calm, but it doesn't seem to affect Rebel at all.
Eric's music hits and the crowd boos ferociously, and the World Heavyweight champ comes out confidently with his sinister manager by his side. Eric loosens up his arms as he approaches the ring, staring expressionless at his opponents. Mr. Black is surprisingly calm as well, and simply stands near his client as they await Eric's partner. The crowd sends out more jeers as Joseph's music echoes throughout the arena, and the Intercontinental champ gleams a huge cocky smile as he waltzes to ringside. He taunts the fans, points to his belt in a direct gesture towards Antonio and seems to be very overconfident for tonight's matchup. Antonio and Eric agree to start the match for their respective teams, and the bell signifies the okay to fight!
Antonio and Eric lock up, and the World champ gets his foe in a headlock. Antonio tosses him into the ropes, but Eric responds with a stiff clothesline. Eric taunts the crowd, but when he reaches down... Antonio rolls him up into a pin! The referee counts to a 2-count near-fall, and Eric sits up shocked. Antonio follows up quickly with some easy suplexes and slams, getting the crowd fired up and a worried expression to come over Mr. Black's face! Rebel is begging for a tag in the corner, and Antonio plants Eric down and reaches out to send him in. But Eric notices the tag, and quickly scampers to the corner to tag in Joseph! The crowd boos and Rebel angrily raises his arms in frustration, but Eric laughs it off as the "Frenchman" enters the match. The World champ is legitimately trying to avoid facing the crazed Rebel! Mr. Black walks over to raise some concerns with his client, but Eric waves him off.
Rebel re-focuses on the charging Joseph, and is able to start off their encounter with a nice neckbreaker. Rebel drops Joseph with his Roll with the Changes pinning combo, which prompts Mr. Black to step up onto the apron to distract the referee! The distraction allows Eric to break up the pinfall, but when Rebel chases after him, Eric races back to his corner and Rebel gets stopped by the official! Rebel argues with the ref and gestures angrily at his rival, but the referee orders Rebel to return to the legal man. The moment allows Joseph to counter and take control for a bit. But when Joseph tries a suplex, Rebel counters with an impressive DDT! Rebel tosses the "Frenchman" into the corner, and he and Antonio perform a slick double-team move!
Antonio continues the dominance early for his team, and loves dishing out some punishment to his rival. Antonio delivers a flying uppercut off the 2nd turnbuckle, a belly-to-belly suplex and a painful knee drop right to Joseph's face! Antonio taunts the crowd for a moment, getting them pumped up again, but when he tries to pick Joseph off the mat... the "Frenchman" delivers a stiff kick to the face! Joseph crawls to his corner quickly, tagging the fresh World champ back in! The narcissist attacks Antonio furiously, changing the match momentum on a dime. He starts slamming "America's Favorite" around the ring, taunting Rebel variously as well in hopes of intimidating his rival. The taunts gradually make Rebel angrier and angrier, while Eric continues to methodically break down Antonio.
Joseph recovers and requests a tag, and Eric takes a moment to taunt Rebel one last time before he reaches over. But as soon as Eric makes the tag... Rebel sprints across the ring and tackles the World champ to the ringside floor! The crowd erupts with cheers as Rebel furiously beats up on the narcissist, and a massive brawl breaks out between them! Eric fights back and the two rivals square off, paying no attention to the actual match proceedings. They just want to beat the hell out of each other! Mr. Black watches in peril but doesn't intervene for now.
In the ring, Joseph had Antonio still down for a bit but the brawl outside distracts him. Joseph whips Antonio into the ropes, but after taking his eye off his foe for a split second... Antonio smashes Lutte's face off his knee! With the tide turned, Antonio rallies back quickly. After a few power moves, Antonio nails his Knee Deep signature into Joseph's face! When the "Frenchman" staggers to his feet, Antonio snatches him and plants him with his American Dream finisher! The crowd chants with the referee's count, and whoop it up when the 3-count hits!

Post-Match Segment
After the bell rings, Antonio celebrates but tries to locate his match partner. Outside the ring, Rebel and Eric are still letting out their frustrations on each other. Body slams into the barricades and steel steps, plus numerous stiff punches and kicks, have left both of them exhausted and weakened. Eric grabs Rebel by the shoulders and tosses him over the announce table and into the chairs behind! Mr. Black finally has had enough, and grabs Eric's arm and starts to pull the narcissist away.
Eric resists at first, but finally relents and leaves with his manager. Mr. Black seems to be scolding his client, but Eric keeps his eyes trained on his rival. Rebel slowly climbs out of the announce table area and searches for Eric, before realizing that he was leaving quickly. Rebel growls loudly and shoves things out of his way in frustration. He rubs his forearms against his temples and tries to calm down, but it's clear that he just cannot control his emotions.
On the stage, Eric stops and takes the World Title belt out of Mr. Black's hands. He takes a moment to stand proudly and taunt everyone with the belt, raising it high enough for all to see. Antonio shakes his head in disapproval in the ring, before glancing over to see Rebel's reaction. The seething anger enveloping Rebel's face is the final image of the show!

Week 4
Only 2 days away from what's shaping up to be a highly-anticipated Hell in a Cell PPV, Smackdown broadcasts LIVE from San Diego, California!
Cruiserweight Championship (Fatal 4-Way Battle Royal):
Rusty {C} vs. Paulie Dominos vs. Dylan Dynamite vs. Anarchy
The final Smackdown episode before Hell in a Cell kicks off in exciting fashion with a good old-fashioned title match! The Cruiserweight Title will be up for grabs in a 4-man battle royal, and the "Little Hellraiser" is the first man out! Anarchy taunts the crowd and shows off his fighting prowess by throwing some warmup punches as he heads to the ring. Next up, Dylan comes out and looks focused on the night's title opportunity. The "Dynamite Kid" had a rough showing Monday night in a loss to Gravedigger, but capturing the Cruiserweight belt would ideally wash that pain away fairly quickly. The "Jersey Fist-Pumper" danced his way to ringside, and took the time to talk a little trash to the other challengers. Finally, the crowd broke out into a huge resounding cheer for the champ! Rusty came out focused and let the crowd's support soak in, but the champ seemed undeterred as a tough title defense was about to take place! The 4 men entered, acknowledged the referee holding the belt up, and let the punches fly as soon as the bell sounded!
The action escalated swiftly, with all 4 men trying their hardest to attack any foe that ventured close. Rusty battled Anarchy early, but soon turned his attention to Dylan Dynamite. Paulie Dominos dropkicked Anarchy in the corner, but when he tried to follow up, the "Little Hellraiser" countered with a hurricanrana. Dylan attempted a suplex onto the champ, but Rusty reversed the move into a neckbreaker! The moves began to grow in intensity and power, and the fans started to get antsy for any elimination!
Despite a solid showing, Anarchy was forced out first when Paulie D. pushed him down to the floor. Rusty and Dylan then went after "Mr. Amazing" and used some unexpected teamwork to deliver a few double-team moves. With Paulie reeling, Rusty took the opportunity to dropkick him over the top rope! Down to the champ and Dylan, the pressure continued to build and several near-eliminations had the crowd exasperated. First, Rusty shoved Dylan up against the ropes but when he tried to clothesline him over... Dylan ducked and the champ went over! Rusty snagged the top rope at the last second and pulled himself up onto the mat, but Dylan tried to force him down with his boot pressed hard against Rusty's side. But the champ hung on and managed to crawl back into the ring. Then soon after, Rusty tossed Dylan into the corner and began to gradually gain leverage as he shoved and lifted his foe. Dylan wrapped his arm around the turnbuckle as Rusty tried to push him down, and Dylan kicked himself free to stay alive!
In the end, Dylan's determination wasn't enough to upend the champ. After a few power moves, Rusty forced Dylan up against the ropes again and the two battled hard for leverage. But Dylan's exhaustion was evident, and slowly Rusty had his opponent on his toes. In one confident lift, Rusty tossed Dylan over and the "Kid" went flailing down to the ringside floor!
The bell rang and the crowd whooped it up for the "2 Xtreme" superfan, as he successfully defended the belt! Rusty celebrated with a very tired look on his face, and the crowd buzzed with excitement over a great opening match!
WINNER (and still Cruiserweight Champion): Rusty

Backstage Segment
The cameras switch backstage, and an audible cheer can be heard from the arena as the fans see... Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O.! The ECW champ and the rising rookie officially formed the new H2 team last week, evening the odds in Hitman's ongoing feud with the Bullet Boyz. The new allies are chatting in the hallway and seem to be in a confident mood. H.E.R.O. is sitting on a large crate with his feet hanging off the edge, while Hitman is standing and leaning up against a different stack of crates with his ECW Title draped over his shoulder. We are able to pick up their conversation midway through.
Hitman: "So you just up and left home, just like that?"
H.E.R.O.: "Yup. Best decision of my life."
Hitman: "Wow, that's pretty bold. You've been making some pretty bold decisions recently too."
H.E.R.O.: "Ha ha... yeah, it's what I do! I knew when I got drafted over to Smackdown that it was my chance to shake things up. Make an impact, you know? That's all I really want to do."
Hitman: "Make an impact, huh? Well you picked the right guy to stand next to. Don't worry... you stick with me, and I'll help you make an impact."
H.E.R.O. nods appreciatively, but looks off and his expression changes immediately. He hops off the crate and stands in a defensive stance. Hitman follows his new partner's gaze and turns around, and a slight scowl comes over his face too. The camera pans back and we see... the Bullet Boyz! The reigning Tag Team champs stroll up and a clear arrogant laugh can be heard from both Craig and Tony. They approach their rivals and interrupt.
Craig: "Ha ha! Look at these two bozos, Tony! They think they're this special team now!"
Tony: "What do you call yourselves? H2? What a terrible name!"
Craig: "Yeah, way to be creative. Nobody's gonna take you seriously as a team with that name."
Tony: "Team? They think they're an actual team? They can't really be a real team yet, amigo. They haven't even competed together yet!"
Hitman and H.E.R.O. don't appreciate the condescending comments, and the ECW champ responds.
Hitman: "Yeah, that's right. We are a TEAM. We don't even need a match to know it. It's all about philosophies. And right now, our philosophy to kick your scrawny little asses. In fact, I even believe that we're a BETTER team now than you thugs ever will be. I believe we're so much better that... we could probably take those Tag Team Titles away from you, easily. What do you say you put those belts on the line against us... TONIGHT? We'll prove it t everyone that we're worth a damn and you're not worth the dirt you walk upon."
Craig and Tony glance at each other, surprised by the unprompted title challenge... but again bust out into disrespectful laughter. Hitman and H.E.R.O start to get really annoyed. Craig gathers himself and responds.
Craig: "You two? Challenge us? For the Tag Titles? Come on, get real. You're not even remotely close to being #1 contenders. I mean seriously... you haven't even had a tag team match TOGETHER yet! You can't be seriously challenging US, the THREE-TIME Tag champs... right?"
H.E.R.O.: "So how about we prove to you that we are just as good as the #1 contenders? What if... what if we faced the current #1 contenders tonight? We'll take on the G.L.O.W. team, and if we win... then you BOZOS have to put the titles on the line this Sunday at Hell in a Cell. What do you think about that, jerk?"
Craig: "You honestly want to face those Europeans in your first tag team match? Why don't you pick an easy tuneup opponent first? Whatever... it's your funeral. You go out there and embarrass yourselves... and we'll be back here enjoying a few tasty beverages, right Tony?"
Tony: "Ahh cerveza! Yeah Craig, let's go!"
Craig and Tony continue to chuckle as they brush past their rivals, with Craig knocking his shoulder hard into H.E.R.O.'s. The rising rookie lurches back to throw a retaliatory strike, but Hitman grabs his arm and holds him back.
Hitman: "Hey... save it. Save that aggression for the match. We got a #1 contenders' match tonight, remember?"
Hitman smiles proudly and H.E.R.O. eases up, nodding confidently with a smirk.
H.E.R.O.: "You're right. Let's make an impact tonight."
The new team heads towards the locker room as the segment ends.

Zach Wesley vs. Guy Justice
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show where the crowd is greeted to the entrance of the "Mohawked Maniac"! Disapproving sounds echo throughout the arena as the fans let Zach know how they truly feel, but he walks to the ring full of pent-up fury. Wesley climbs in and unleashes his signature roar at the crowd and shakes the ropes in intimidating fashion before turning his attention towards the stage. Justice's theme hits and the crowd gives him a solid reaction, but the "True Savior" does not appear to be in a pleasant mood. Justice slowly walks to the ring, with a hint of anger emerging from the scowl barely visible from underneath his hood. Justice climbs into the ring and gives his signature outstretched pose on the turnbuckle, and then rotates to meet the glare of his opponent. Last week's scheduled match between them was called off due to Zach's attack on Justice backstage, after the "Savior" attempted to initiate some pre-match sportsmanship. The rivalry between them had been brewing since Justice and Zach had a heated exchange on the "In Search of Truth" talk segment. The referee calls for the bell after each man shows they're ready, and this heated grudge match is on!
The grapplers lock up early, but Wesley immediate locks in a painful headlock. Justice wriggles free, but bounces off the ropes and walks right into a big boot! Wesley takes advantage and controls the match early, delivering numerous stiff shots to the "Savior". Zach's powerful moves and slow prodding style begins to draw a building amount of boos from the crowd, which starts to anger the "Maniac" more and more. Finally, his anger makes him overzealous and leads to trouble. After whipping Justice into the corner, Zach roars and charges at his foe... but the "Savior" moves at the last moment! Wesley goes crashing hard into the turnbuckle, and Justice uses the moment to go on the offensive!
Justice fires up the crowd with an array of athletic suplexes on his bigger opponent, and then following up with a taunting elbow drop to Wesley's neck! Things are rolling for the "Savior" but he can't seem to put his foe away. Several near-falls get the crowd up, but Wesley continues to kick out and keep himself alive. An impressive superplex off the top rope plants Zach hard, but again the "Maniac" finds a way to get a shoulder up on the ensuing pinfall.
That resiliency and Zach's power pay off in the end. After reversing a move with another big boot, Wesley starts to again damage his foe with power moves. A desperation attempt fails for the "Savior", and Wesley counters with his signature Psycho Driver! With Justice weakened, Zach puts him down for good with a stiff Maniac Mutator finisher! Zach covers and the referee counts the pinfall, giving him the win!
After the match, Zach refuses the hand-raising by the referee and prefers to taunt the crowd and celebrate alone. Justice lays prone on the mat for a while, before sitting up slowly and showing major disappointment. The "Maniac" sends another glare at his righteous rival before waving him off and walking away valiantly. The crowd sends another round of boos out for Zach's exit!
WINNER: Zach Wesley

Backstage Segment
We return backstage and get a peek inside the locker room, where we see the G.L.O.W. team of Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte and partner Quinn Cadbury stretching and warming up. Their #1 contenders' match against the new H2 team is the final match of the evening. Joseph pops up off the floor and speaks.
Joseph: "Are you ready?"
Quinn: "Almost."
Joseph: "Come on, hurry up. We need to talk strategy."
Quinn: "Strategy? For what?"
Joseph: "Our match? I want to have a plan out there. Want to make sure we are on the same page."
Quinn stands up off the ground and looks at Joseph with a confused scowl.
Quinn: "The same page? Mate, we haven't been on the bloody same page for weeks. You've been leaving me to fend for myself a lot lately. Basically ever since I HELPED you win back that Intercontinental Title."
Joseph: "Leaving you? I haven't been doing it intentionally. Plus, I've already given my thanks for the title win on multiple occasions."
Quinn: "Well... to be bloody honest, I feel a little disrespected. I feel like that title has changed you a bit. I assumed that since we had worked together to win it back, that we would continue to work together and defend it. Or at least support each other in a normal manner."
Joseph: "Quinn, my friend... you are becoming clouded by recent events. There's no need to feel disrespected. Everyone, including myself, knows what you're capable of."
Quinn: "Well I don't see it that way, mate. In fact, I want to take a big step and prove to everyone that I can be just as successful as you've been. Next week, I'm accepting Angus's open challenge. I am going to beat that bloody giant and ruin his bloody streak!"
Joseph is surprised by Quinn's overconfidence and demeanor. The Intercontinental champ tries to bring his partner back down to reality.
Joseph: "Quinn... that's fine by me, but we have a match tonight. I would prefer if you returned your focus to that."
Quinn again seems disgusted by Joseph's comments.
Quinn: "Me? Focus? Joseph, old chap... I've been asking you to focus for weeks! I am the one that's been seeing clearly this whole time. I'm telling you... that title is a dangerous object for you."
Quinn points towards the belt and Joseph turns to look. A confused look comes over the "Fantastic Frenchman"'s face, which gradually turns into an upset expression. He again tries to steer the conversation back.
Joseph: "Ignore that title, my friend. It is of no concern to you. Tonight... we have a match. To protect our #1 contendership status. I would like to discuss strategies in order for us to claim victory. Can we do that... please?"
Quinn and Joseph share a very tense stare for a moment, and it's clear there is some unresolved animosity between them. Eventually, Quinn relents and responds.
Quinn: "Fine, mate. What do you have in mind?"
Joseph begins to talk as the camera focuses in on Quinn's suspicious expression. The segment comes to an end and quickly switches over to a different locker room segment.

In another locker room, we get a shot of the H2 team warming up for the upcoming match. As Hitman Jack and H.E.R.O. stretch out and bounce around to loosen up, we hear the locker room door open and several people enter. Hitman and H.E.R.O. look up with an intrigued look on their faces, and the camera pans back to reveal... American Cool! Antonio Jordan, Krizz Torture and Audrey Vega approach with welcoming expressions.
Antonio: "Hitman, H.E.R.O.... I was just wondering if we could have a word or two. We won't take up much of your time."
Hitman: "Uhh... sure, Antonio. What's up?"
Antonio: "Well... on behalf of my friends here, we just want to welcome the newest team on Smackdown."
Audrey: "When we heard you guys were joining forces, we got really excited."
Krizz: "Yeah it will be good to have another trustworthy team around here. Sometimes it feels like we're fighting outnumbered battles. Plus... it's always good to have new competition."
Hitman: "Well thanks guys. We appreciate it."
Antonio: "I also wanted to discuss something about your match tonight."
Hitman: "Sure. Shoot."
Antonio: "I was wondering if you would allow me to join you guys at ringside tonight."
Hitman: "Ringside? For us?"
Antonio: "Yeah of course. I don't mind giving you guys a little support. Krizz and Audrey already approve. What do you say?"
Hitman and H.E.R.O. glance at each other and ponder the offer. H.E.R.O. shrugs nonchalantly and continues to stretch. Hitman turns back to the "Mastermind" and responds.
Hitman: "Sure, Antonio. You can join us. Can I ask why?"
Antonio: "Well, I do want to give you guys some support in your first tag team match. It can be a tough environment to handle sometimes. Plus, I know those Europeans well and can give you tips for tonight's battle. I definitely would not mind seeing those foreign bastards get a swift kick in the rear, you feel me?"
Hitman: "Ha ha... yeah, I can understand that."
Antonio: "And another thing... I got something to say to Joseph. After the match. It'd be nice if I was out there and can address him right away."
Hitman: "Hmm... okay. Sounds good to me."
Antonio: "Thanks man. See you later. And good luck!"
Antonio and Hitman shake hands and "America's Favorite" also slaps hands with H.E.R.O. before heading out. Krizz nods with a smile and Audrey gives a thumbs up and a little wave as they follow. The camera pans around to catch the reactions from Hitman and H.E.R.O. They are surprised, but shrug towards each other. They go back to their stretch routine as the segment ends.

Pre-Match Segment
Back in the arena, the fans erupt into cheers for the entrance of... Parker & Coop! The Olympian duo has returned from a short hiatus and sprint down to the ring together, firing up the San Diego fans! Tommy and Joey climb the turnbuckles and acknowledge the fans' support. They look ready for a return match tonight, but Tommy requests a microphone to address the crowd first.
Parker: "Hello San Diego! Your favorite Olympians are back! I know it's been a few weeks since you've seen us, but Joey and I needed to take a short break. Recharge the batteries, cool down the system, clear our heads... you know? We haven't felt confident in our performances lately, and we want to change that."
Parker hands the mic over to Joey.
Coop: "Yeah we are super excited to be back! Like Tommy said, a quick break was necessary. But now, we feel good, we look good and... we just plain are good! We are going to turn things around and get back on track in the tag team division. It's been 10 months since we've been in serious contention for the Tag Team Titles, and that's way too long."
Parker: "So watch out everyone, because Parker & Coop is back in business!"
The crowd whoops it up for the Olympian duo one more time, and they start to loosen up for their match next!

Tommy Parker & Joey Cooper vs. Billy Carter & Vincent Serum
As Parker & Coop warm up in the ring, their opponents make their entrances starting off with the "Canadian Bomber"! Billy Carter strolls down to the ring, eyeing the Olympians disrespectfully. Soon after, the sinister theme of Vincent Serum hits and the crowd jeers heavily for the "Vicious Vampire"! Serum snarls at the fans, trying to scare them as he joins his partner. Billy and Serum discuss strategy briefly, and agree to let Billy start off. The "Bomber" and Parker circle each other as the bell rings!
Parker & Coop seem rejuvenated and control the flow of the match from start to finish. Despite various strong moves from Billy and Serum, the teamwork of the Olympian duo cuts every rally short. Both of their opponents receive impressive double-team moves from Parker & Coop, and their quick-tagging, high-flying shoot style of wrestling wears Billy and Serum down. Eventually, Joey nails his Medal Maker finisher onto Billy and Tommy clotheslines Serum off the apron! Joey covers and gets the pinfal, giving Parker & Coop the solid return victory!
The fans cheer loudly for the Olympians' win, and they celebrate proudly around the ring!

Backstage Segment
The cameras switch backstage where we immediately see a heated argument going on between Women's champ Jersey Jenny and Paulie Dominos. The siblings are bickering back and forth, and Paulie has an ice pack on his neck. J.J. keeps getting into her brother's face and pointing fingers, while Paulie pushes her away angrily and fires back. We pick up their conversation.
Jenny: "I can't believe I lost last night! I'm the Women's champ, I deserve better!"
Paulie: "Yo just 'cause you're a champ doesn't mean you automatically deserve to win matches. You still gotta go out there and make it happen."
Jenny: "Make it happen? Did you forget who I am? I make things happen all the time! I made this title happen, what have you done lately?"
Paulie: "Yo don't talk about me like that. I've been busting my ass trying to win that Cruiserweight Title. Don't disrespect me!"
Jenny: "I can say whatever I want to say. Just 'cause you're family don't mean I need to respect a LOSER!"
The argument is escalating quickly, and Paulie stands up to confront his sister. They bicker face to face, with words getting jumbled and hard to make out. Fingers get pointed, contact is made and it appears like a sibling fight is imminent! Sensing a problem, several members of the backstage crew intervene and separate Paulie and Jenny just seconds before a brawl breaks out! The trash talk continues as they try to break away from the crew members and continue their argument.
But suddenly, the argument stops and Jenny and Paulie take a moment to breathe. Strangely, smiles form on their faces and they break out into a fit of laughter. The crew members release them slightly and the siblings approach each other. Apologies are made and they share a hug before heading down the hall. The camera focuses in on the crew members, who look at each other in confusion as the segment ends!

Tag Team #1 Contenders' Match:
H2 (Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O.) (w/ Antonio Jordan) vs.
G.L.O.W. (Joseph T. Lutte & Quinn Cadbury)
An excited pulse transmits through the crowd as the #1 contenders' tag team match draws near! Not only will we see who can officially earn a title shot against the Bullet Boyz, but it will also be the first match for the new H2 team! The big question of course is if Hitman Jack and H.E.R.O. can truly work together as a unit despite no prior experience, but the brewing issues between the Europeans could give them a slight advantage. It would be very surprising to see Hitman and H.E.R.O. become #1 contenders in their first match, but everyone is sure they would love to get their hands on the Bullet Boyz this Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV. With Antonio Jordan joining them at ringside and his ongoing rivalry with Joseph & Quinn in the mix, it should be an interesting matchup!
Hitman's music hits first, and the ECW champ enters to the roar of the crowd! The "Lethal Canadian" walks to the ring focused and beats his chest to fire up the crowd. Next, H.E.R.O. comes out to a similarly-positive reaction and briskly makes his way to the ring, climbing a turnbuckle and raising a proud fist. Their manager for the evening gets his own entrance too, and receives the loudest cheers of all! The "Mastermind" comes out confidently but takes his time to show his respect for the H2 team, gesturing the fans' attention towards them and giving them a round of applause. As the new teammates wait, their opponents make a joint entrance and the boos rain down! Intercontinental champ Joseph and his partner Quinn act snobby towards the crowd's disapproval, but as they climb into the ring the growing animosity between them is apparent. They chat briefly before the match, but neither of them can agree on who will start. Eventually, Quinn caves in and lets the "Fantastic Frenchman" begin.
Just as the big battle is about to start... yet another entrance is made! This time, it's the Tag Team champs themselves! The Bullet Boyz stroll slowly down to the ring, drawing the attention of everyone, and make sure to display their Tag Team Titles proudly. Craig & Tony saunter around the ring and join the commentary table, hoping to get a nice view of the action!
Finally, the bell rings and the match starts off. Joseph and Hitman Jack lock up early and a series of chain wrestling gets the fans warmed up. Joseph eventually takes control and tries to push the rules a bit, drawing the angry ire of the referee already. Quinn wants to tag in, but the "Frenchman" waves him off. The odd communication distracts Joseph, and Hitman swings the momentum with a counter into a neckbreaker! The ECW champ staggers to his corner and sends in the rising rookie! H.E.R.O. quickly goes on the offensive, knocking Joseph around the ring and planting him with a follow-up suplex! H.E.R.O. goes for a cover but Quinn races in to break it up. Quinn returns to the corner quickly and begs for a tag, and an exhausted Joseph crawls over and obliges.
Quinn and H.E.R.O. trade off sharply-executed moves, but Quinn's underhanded tactics give him control. First with Joseph distracting the referee, Quinn nails H.E.R.O. in his manhood with a vicious punch! The dirty act draws Hitman out of the corner in a rage, but the referee pushes him back to the corner. With the referee now trying to handle the furious ECW champ, Joseph grabs H.E.R.O. from the apron and Quinn gouges the rookie's eyes! It seems like the Europeans are back on the same page, and they administer a nice double-team move to keep things going their way. Joseph re-enters and continues the assault on the rookie.
But Joseph gets overconfident and feels necessary to taunt his American rival watching close by. The "Frenchman" drops H.E.R.O. with a fireman's carry slam, and takes time to show off in Antonio's direction! The "Mastermind" doesn't appreciate the gesture, and begins to talk trash towards him. But the distraction again causes Joseph to lose sight of his opponent, and a rejuvenated H.E.R.O. notices the situation! The rising rookie sneaks up and rolls Joseph up into a tight school boy pin! Quinn races in and dives to stop the pinfall attempt at the last second, and Joseph sits up in shock at the narrow near-loss! Quinn yells at Joseph angrily, motioning for him to stay focused, but the "Frenchman" argues back as it seems their bubbling issues are back again.
H.E.R.O. tags in Hitman, and the ECW champ races in to attack his former rival! Jack tosses Joseph from post to post, and lands both an impressive suplex and a painful-looking elbow drop! Joseph somehow escapes to the corner, and Quinn tries to regain control to no avail. Hitman continues to wreak havoc on the Europeans, making Quinn feel the pain of several power moves. But the final sequences of the match get crazy, and it starts when a weakened Quinn goes for a tag. Cadbury reaches over and tags Joseph, who doesn't seem ready to re-enter the match. The two bicker for a moment, and Hitman seems to get an idea. Jack tags in H.E.R.O. and then races across the ring... to clothesline both men! Hitman slides out of the ring and drags Quinn with him, while H.E.R.O. scales the turnbuckle and waits for Joseph to stagger to his feet. When the "Frenchman" turns, H.E.R.O. delivers a high altitude diving cross body! H.E.R.O. quickly follows up with his Fleet Foot signature, knocking the Intercontinental champ senseless! With Hitman and Quinn still battling outside the ring, Antonio cheering loudly at ringside and a suddenly-nervous pair of Bullet Boyz watching at the announce table, H.E.R.O. senses the moment and gets a solid "O" chant going with the crowd! H.E.R.O. lifts a reeling Joseph up, and drops him with a finishing Heart Stopper! The rising rookie goes for the cover and the referee counts the 3!
The crowd goes wild and the surprised look on H.E.R.O.'s face says it all, as the new H2 teammates are the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles!!!

WINNERS: H2 (Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O.)
Post-Match Segment
The cheers continue after the bell, and Hitman Jack slides into the ring to join his partner and celebrate! H.E.R.O. and Hitman climb the turnbuckles to acknowledge the crowd's support, and then share a tired embrace. At the announce table, the pissed-off Bullet Boyz stand up and tear off their headsets in a rage. Craig & Tony glare angrily at their rivals, knowing they have to put up their Tag Team Titles on Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV! Craig & Tony leap over the barricade and leave through the crowd, and the H2 team watches them leave with confident expressions. Hitman and H.E.R.O. continue to celebrate as they head up the ramp towards the backstage area!
In the ring, Joseph slowly sits up and realizes what has happened, shaking his head in disappointment and wincing in pain. Quinn sits up against the barricade outside the ring and takes a dejected long breath, looking up at the lights with deep thoughts running through his head. As Joseph tries to gather himself, Antonio Jordan climbs into the ring and stands in the corner with a smile on his face! Joseph notices his rival nearby and scowls at him, not pleased to see him. Antonio requests a microphone and begins to address the Intercontinental champ.
Antonio: "Well Frenchy... tough luck tonight. Just seems like things are slowly falling apart for you. Just too bad... too bad. I'm in the best shape of my life and I've strung together a nice series of wins lately. I'm ready for my rematch. I want that Intercontinental Title back! And seeing as how you don't need to worry about the Tag Team Titles for a little while, I figured you wouldn't mind me officially envoking my rematch clause for Sunday's PPV. And I've been holding myself back lately, but this Sunday... I'm letting ALL of my held-back anger out! I'm going to beat you so badly that your home country won't even take you back! And then, once you're fighting for breath and trying to re-attach your body parts... I'm going to pin you 1-2-3 and take back MY Intercontinental Title. Aimez-vous?"
That final "do you like it?" French comment angers Joseph, and Antonio chuckles confidently as he drops the mic and heads out of the ring. Joseph stands up and watches his rival exit with an intense glare. Antonio walks past the seated Quinn, and scoffs a bit. Quinn scowls at Antonio's disrespect as the "Mastermind" walks off with the fans cheering for him! Quinn rises to his feet and glances back at Joseph, an intriguing expression on his face. What could be on the "English Gentleman"'s mind? The segment ends with rotating shots of Antonio leaving with swagger, Quinn studying his partner and Joseph glaring down his American rival!

In-Ring Segment
To close out the show, the fans are greeted to the fiery entrance of ... Rebel Ford! The former World Heavyweight champ wastes no time getting to the ring, and it's clear his psychological state is still very fragile. He climbs into the ring, snatches a microphone and then looks around the arena with a crazed look in his eyes. Rebel slowly raises to the mic to his mouth.
Rebel: "I want Eric Executioner... and Mr. Black... out here... NOW!"
Rebel calls out the World Heavyweight champ and his sinister manger, and a few anxious moments pass before the narcissist's theme hits! The crowd greets the duo with a deafening round of boos, but they step out onto the stage with curious looks. Rebel motions for them to come down to the ring, and after a glance at each other, Eric and Mr. Black slowly heads towards their rival. They climb in cautiously, watching Rebel's every move as they approach him. Mr. Black accepts a microphone but gestures to Rebel to address his concerns. Rebel points right at Eric and continues.
Rebel: "I've been shocked at many things. I was shocked when you attacked me days after winning the King of the Ring Tournament. I was shocked when you tried to attack Eve. I was shocked when you beat me at Night of Champions and took that World Title. I was shocked when you kidnapped Eve and ruined her mind, which eventually ruined our relationship. And I was shocked when you gave up a victory at Summerslam just so you could claim continued control over her. But nothing... NOTHING... has shocked me more than when I realized... YOU ARE AFRAID OF ME!"
The crowd cheers excitedly as a confused look comes over both Eric and Mr. Black's face. Eric then scowls angrily and shakes his head in disagreement, but Rebel nods and continues.
Rebel: "Yeah, you are. You thought that I was this weak little being that you could just manhandle and control and I would eventually cave in. But when you take EVERYTHING away from a man, something happens in his brain that tells him to just... let go. Go crazy! There's nothing to defend anymore! This is just me. Flesh and blood. You want to destroy me? Beat me down? Make me submissive? Well you're going to have to break every bone in my body just to get me to consider giving up! You see... I'm already a broken man. You've forced me to just let all my emotions go and stand up for MYSELF. I am a man. I'm willing to give everything I've got to protect my integrity. But you... you hide behind a creepy little man. You hide behind a background story that no one respects. You... you aren't even a man anymore!"
Eric does not appreciate Rebel challenging his manhood, and his nostrils flare with anger. Mr. Black notices his client's anger escalating and takes a slight step toward him. Rebel takes a breath and continues.
Rebel: "You don't realized what you've done, and now it's about to bite you in the ass. I've got nothing to lose! You've taken my title. You've taken my girl. You've taken my SANITY. And now... it's time I take EVERYTHING away from you. This Sunday... at the Hell in a Cell PPV... I'm challenging you to a Hell in a Cell match! I want to prove to everyone just how insecure you REALLY are. Because in the most hellacious environment possible, I'm going to give up everything I have left and expose you as a weak, dependent tool. I want you inside the Hell in a Cell because... I want to face you ALONE. You want to prove yourself? You want me to respect you? Then face me WITHOUT Mr. Black. Look into my eyes and try to take it all. I don't even care about the title anymore. I just want YOU."
An intense staredown ensues as Rebel steps up into Eric's face, only inches apart. Eric snarls at the disrespectful comments while Rebel stands proudly. Mr. Black senses the growing animosity and steps in between the two men. Rebel glances down and steps back, confused by Mr. Black's sudden involvement. Mr. Black raises his mic and responds.
Mr. Black: "You raise some interesting points, my rebellious friend. But Eric is not weak. Eric is the most dominating force this business has ever seen. And on behalf of my dominating client, he accepts your ridiculous challenge."
Eric looks down at his manager with a surprised, infuriated look. It's clear he doesn't appreciate Mr. Black accepting the match, but Mr. Black adds more.
Mr. Black: "You claim the title doesn't matter to you, but it matters to us. Therefore, not only will Eric officially break you for good... but he's going to successfully defend the World Heavyweight Title. You may get your wish to face Eric alone inside the Cell, but when you look up from the mat after you've been shattered and beaten... you will be looking up at the unstoppable champion!"
Eric can't believe that his manager has now put his title on the line, and his anger boils over! The narcissist snaps in a rage and attacks Rebel, starting a passionate brawl! Rebel lets go of his frustration too, and the punches fly between the rivals! Mr. Black is shocked at Eric's unleashed rage, but can't seem to stop the furious fight! The crowd shouts excitedly at both the ongoing brawl and the prospect of these two getting it on inside the Hell in a Cell!
The brawl carries on for a few minutes, but finally Eric grabs Rebel and whips him hard into the corner, where the rebellious fan favorite smashes chest-first into the turnbuckle and collapses onto the mat. Eric winds up and prepares for a follow-up running clothesline but suddenly... Mr. Black grabs his client by the forearm and pulls him out the ring! The crowd's excitement turns to boos as Mr. Black drags Eric away from the fight, much to the World champ's dismay. Eric tries to pull away and continue after his rival, but Mr. Black sternly orders him to stop and continues to guide him up the ramp. In the ring, Rebel rises up and looks around, confused where his rival has gone. Rebel looks up and spots the duo's quick getaway, frowning and glaring angrily. As the show credits roll, Eric snatches the World Title belt out of Mr. Black's arms and raises it up from the stage! The intense staredown between Eric and Rebel fires up the fans and gives a climatic final image of the show!
