Week 1
San Francisco, California is the host of another LIVE edition of Friday Night Smackdown!
In-Ring Segment
The show opens up and Smackdown GM Teddy Long strolls to the ring proudly. The San Francisco crowd gives him a mixed reaction, but the smile across his face couldn't be bigger. Teddy climbs into the ring and requests a microphone in order to address the crowd.
Teddy: "Holla, holla, holla! Hello San Francisco! I'm very glad to be out here to begin a very special show. Of course, I wouldn't be out here unless I had something BIG to share with all of you. After witnessing the entertaining Beat the Clock Challenge matches on Raw earlier this week, I came up with a great idea... a Beat the Clock Challenge here on Smackdown! We will hold 4 matches over the next 2 weeks, with the winning competitor in the fastest time earning an Intercontinental Championship match! What a great way to determine the next #1 contender. Good luck to all competitors, and enjoy the show!"
Teddy swings his arm around proudly as the crowd reacts to the announcement. The GM struts out of the ring confidently and heads to the back as the segment ends!

Intercontinental #1 Contender - Beat the Clock
Challenge Match:
Vincent Serum vs. Krizz Torture
Moments after Teddy's big announcement, the first Beat the Clock Challenge match is the first match of the show! The haunting theme song indicating Vincent Serum's entrance causes the crowd to react with disapproval, booing the "Vicious Vampire" heavily. Serum walks to the ring slowly, glaring around the arena before climbing in. Soon after, Krizz's "Rawkfist" theme hit and the crowd greeted him positively and the "2 Cool" superstar came out with plenty of confidence and showed no fear as he locked eyes with his opponent. The bell rang, the timer starts and the first challenge match gets underway!
Serum gets control early, tossing Krizz into the corner and following up with a neck-snapping clothesline. He then stomps Krizz repeatedly before applying all his body weight in a step-over move. Krizz eventually rallies back, using his impressive strength and agility to overcome the "Vampire". A series of big moves damages Vincent, including a KT Slam, a 2-handed chokeslam and a huge back body drop!
With Serum reeling, Krizz grabs him around the neck and drops him with his signature Head Rush! Krizz sends out a taunt to the excited crowd, signaling for his finisher. Serum staggers up and Krizz gets a hold of him, lifting him up... and planting him forcefully with his Torture Rack powerbomb! Krizz goes for the cover and the referee counts the pinfall, giving him the first challenge victory! The timer reveals a 4 minute and 1 second win, which Krizz nods at confidently as the crowd cheers him on!
WINNER (in 4:01): Krizz Torture

Post-Match Segment
Krizz celebrates his win as the crowd gives him a rousing ovation, raising his arms with a beaming smile on his face. But suddenly, as Krizz continues to engage the crowd... Quinn Cadbury appears! The crowd's reaction quickly turns to concern, and Cadbury slides into the ring behind Krizz. Krizz is confused by the crowd's response, but doesn't seem to notice Cadbury. Slowly, Quinn reveals that he has brought with him... a lead pipe! This situation does not look promising...
... and moments before Krizz turns around, Quinn strikes! The "English Gentleman" nails Krizz with the pipe across his back, and continues with a vicious combination of pipe shots and angry stomps. The surprise attack doesn't allow Krizz to defend himself, and the "2 Cool" superstar is laying prone on the mat seemingly knocked out! Quinn stands over his victim intimidatingly as the crowd responds to him with ferocious boos.
But it seems like help is on the way... as Antonio's music hits! The "Mastermind" sprints down to the ring to save his partner from further damage, but Quinn notices him coming down and scatters quickly. Cadbury leaps the barricade and escapes through the crowd to avoid Antonio's angry retaliation. Antonio slides into the ring and looks around for Quinn, and groans loudly when he spots him deep in the crowd and getting away. The "Mastermind" quickly goes to check on his ally, and signals for medical personnel. The medical crew comes down to the ring and begins to administer help, while Antonio steps back and puts his hands behind his head, clearly angry and distraught. The segment comes to a close with a distrubing closeup of Krizz's unconscious face!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show backstage and see the Bullet Boyz chatting in the hallway. The reigning Tag Team champs were successful in their title defense this past Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV, defeating Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O. Craig & Tony are discussing their victory as the cameras close in.
Craig: "Damn, it felt good picking up that win Sunday. You really clutched up at the right moment."
Tony: "Gracias, hermano. I was just glad to get the win, didn't really matter who got the pinfall."
Craig: "I mean, we were going to win eventually anyway. We're just that good!"
The foster brothers share a laugh, but the camera pans back to reveal an approaching group. Craig and Tony look over and confusion comes over their faces. Suddenly we can see... Alpha, Omega & Master Kimoto! The Japanese duo and their instructor stroll up to them confidently. Master Kimoto stands slightly in front of his star pupils while Alpha & Omega cross their arms and eye the Tag Team champs. Master Kimoto speaks.
Master Kimoto: "Hello gentlemen. I don't mean to interrupt, but we would like to discuss the possibility of a match with you."
Craig: "A match? What kind of match?"
Master Kimoto: "Well according to my students, they earned a fair victory over you in their debut match. Now I know that victory was a significant time ago, but they were not given an appropriate title match opportunity. We believe it would be a good time to officially schedule a title match."
Craig and Tony are initially shocked at the bold challenge... but they soon break into a fit of chuckles. Master Kimoto is confused by their reaction, and glances at Alpha & Omega. The Japanese duo scowl angrily and shake their heads. Finally, Craig and Tony answer back.
Craig: "A title match? Are you serious?"
Tony: "Yeah hombre. You aren't even close to our level yet."
Craig: "And I don't think you ever will. One win over us? That's it? That happened over a year ago? Why don't you win some tough matches first? Then maybe we'll consider you as a possible top-5 contender. Maybe."
Craig and Tony continue to laugh as they grab their title belts and walk off, disrespectfully leaving the Japanese duo and their legendary trainer behind. The camera pans around to get a view of Master Kimoto's reaction, and an odd smile comes across his face. The elder instructor nods confidently as the segment ends.

Backstage Segment
The show switches over to the locker room area, where we spot a very determined Joseph T. Lutte briskly walking. The Intercontinental champ seems to be on a mission, and opens a locker room door and enters quickly. He glances around and appears to find who he's looking for... Quinn Cadbury! Joseph approaches his tag partner, who is stretching and getting himself ready for an upcoming match. Quinn notices the "Fantastic Frenchman" walking up and turns to face him, pulling his elbow pads up onto his elbows. Joseph speaks to his English ally.
Joseph: "Quinn... I've got a few questions for you."
Quinn: "Yes?"
Joseph: "So... it seems to me that you've shown some odd behaviors recently. This past Sunday, you somehow disguised yourself as one of the personal guards I hired and interfered, on my behalf, in my match. I didn't even realize what had happened until I watched the match on replay. And then earlier tonight, you attacked Krizz Torture with that lead pipe after his match. Not that I'm saying I don't agree with getting a little advantage over a rival, but I didn't ask you to attack him. It just seems like you're making these rash decisions without consulting me. Care to, umm... explain yourself?"
Quinn has a surprised look on his face, and studies his partner's expression for a bit. He responds.
Quinn: "Rash decisions? I don't see it that way. Everything I do has a reason. I'm actually a little shocked that you, of all people, wouldn't understand why. I'm trying to be a loyal friend and partner. I'm trying to protect you and the Intercontinental Title. That's a special belt you are carrying around, and I think that it should be around the waist of a European grappler. I'm doing everything I can to make sure that happens."
Joseph is taken aback by Quinn's response, and seems to be a little confused. Despite his confusion, he replies back.
Joseph: "Wow. Well... I suppose a 'thank you' would be in order. I agree that this prestigious belt should be held by a worthwhile competitor."
Quinn: "And speaking of being worthwhile, I'm about to make a bigger impact. I'm going to break that ridiculous unbeaten streak that Angus has. Nothing could be more impressive than that!"
Quinn pats his ally on the shoulder and heads out of the locker room. Joseph watches him leave but still has a suspicious look on his face as the segment ends.

Angus vs. Quinn Cadbury
A huge pyro blast on the stage signals the entrance of Mr. Money in the Bank himself, Angus! The crowd cheers for the "Irish Giant" who strolls confidently down to the ring. It should be interesting to see if his opponent can give Angus a run for his money, but the super-heavyweight has overcome every foe so far. Angus climbs in and waits patiently, loosening up calmly. Soon after, Quinn's theme hits and the crowd responds with angry jeers for the "English Gentleman"! Quinn struts to the ring slowly with a grand, cocky entrance, wearing his flowing fuzzy-trimmed cape and his European Wrestling League gold medal around his neck. Quinn climbs in and continues to infuriate the crowd with his demeanor, and then starts to direct his taunts towards his opponent. Angus chuckles unimpressed and waits for the bell to ring.
The bell rings and they lock up, setting a slow and methodical pace right from the start. Quinn targets specific body parts early on, trying to work a strategy to wear the big guy down. But despite Quinn's adept targeting skills and array of moves, Angus seems to be able to fend him off with an impressive display of strength. After the back-and-forth tussle, Quinn seems to gain control again and really starts to work Angus over. He delivers a nasty-looking knee drop right onto his opponent's shoulder, causing him to moan in pain. Quinn catches Angus with a sharp punch to the jaw as Angus tries to crawl to his feet, and then follows up with a dirty knee right into the his crotch! The referee gives Quinn a stern warning, but the Englishman waves him off. Quinn runs from behind and plants Angus with a bulldog, and goes for the quick cover! Despite the nicely-timed move, Angus kicks out just after the 2-count to keep the match alive.
Quinn tries to continue his strategy, but a huge uppercut turns the tide for Mr. Money in the Bank! Angus starts to use his strength advantage to damage Quinn, and every move seems to have more force than the previous one. Angus uses a long-toss body slam, a 2-handed choke slam and a double clothesline to deliver the pain! The slow style of the "Irish Giant" seems to cause the pain to soak in for Quinn, who groans and winces for several moments after each move. But Quinn seems ready to pull every trick he's got to try and claim victory, and he uses one at a great time. As he grips his chest and ribs in pain, Angus strolls over confidently and attempts to lift his opponent. But suddenly, Quinn rolls the "Giant" over into a cradle pin and starts to pull the tights for extra leverage! The referee doesn't spot the dirty move and goes to count to the pin attempt... 1... 2... KICKOUT! Angus narrowly kicks out and shoves Quinn aside! Angus sits up off the mat in shock, realizing how close Quinn just came to ending his winning streak!
The match continues but Angus' normally calm demeanor has changed to a focused anger, as he continues to pound on his opponent. He tosses Quinn into the corner with all his might, causing the Englishman's spine to snap off the turnbuckle violently and collapse to the mat. Angus lifts him up and places him horizontally on the top turnbuckle, delivering a headbutt to his gut and then a huge big boot to knock him down to the mat! But despite Angus' anger and power, Quinn's sneakiness and technical mat skills again find a way to put him in control. Quinn reverses a running move with a running punch, catching Angus off guard! The "English Gentleman" then follows up with a slew of moves, again targeting different body parts to cut the "Giant" down. After knocking Angus down with a forearm to the back of the knee, Quinn locks him up in his signature Buckinghammer submission! Angus moans and tries to push himself off the mat to relieve the pain, but Quinn cranks the hold to put more pressure on his opponent's back! The moment seems bleak for Mr. Money in the Bank, but somehow Angus finds enough strength to kick himself out of the hold! Quinn flies halfway across the ring due to the force of his foe's kick, and the Englishman reacts in frustration as his submission attempt wasn't enough!
Despite all the close calls, Angus rallies back for good. The "Irish Giant" goes on the offensive, hoping to finally wear his wiry opponent down. He successfully delivers a series of power moves to retake the momentum. In a desperation move, Quinn rakes his opponent's eyes and bounces off the ropes, hoping to again catch him with a running move. But this time, Angus is ready to counter back and he does so in a big way. When Quinn sprints back, Angus lurches down and lifts him up in the air! Quinn dangles nearly 10 feet above the mat, and Angus uses his immense strength to pump his foe up above his head several times as the crowd fires up for his finishing move! After a third lift, Angus sends Quinn flying into the air... and he comes crashing down to the mat as the result of the Cliffhanger! Angus exhaustedly goes for the cover, and the referee counts the 3 to give Angus the victory!
The crowd erupts as Angus celebrates the narrowest victory so far, holding his arm up proudly as the referee signals him the winner! The "Irish Giant" takes one last long glance at Quinn before exiting the ring and slowly heading backstage!

We return to the show after a short commercial break, where we see ECW champ Hitman Jack and new tag team partner H.E.R.O. chatting briefly near the entrance area. H.E.R.O. is competing in the Beat the Clock Challenge next and is doing some last-minute stretching before heading out to the ring. Despite losing their Tag Team Title match against the Bullet Boyz this past Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV, both of them seem to be in high spirits. Hitman Jack stops pacing around and starts up a conversation.
Hitman: "Good luck out there tonight, pal. Those Beat the Clock Challenges can be pretty tough. Lots of stuff to consider. Eye on the clock, eye on your opponent."
H.E.R.O.: "Don't worry man, I got this. I'm going to win my match in like a minute and get that Intercontinental Title shot. And then, when I win the Intercontinental Title, we can be double champs! We won't even need the Tag Team Titles if we each got a belt!"
Hitman: "Ha ha, yeah that's a good thought. Now don't get too ahead of yourself, bud. You gotta go up against Zach Wesley tonight. He's not the easiest guy to deal with. Plus, beating him quickly is very hard to do. I'd worry about him first before putting your eyes on the title match."
H.E.R.O.: "Wesley? Please... I've already beaten him before! This time will be even easier. I've already got all his tendencies down. I should be able to put him away fast."
Hitman: "Well people can change, especially those who refer to themselves as a 'Maniac'..."
H.E.R.O.: "It's alright, man. I appreciate the help, but I'll be fine. Gotta go!"
The excited rookie steps up into the entrance and heads towards the curtains. Jack reaches out for him but his partner is too quick. The ECW champ glances down at his title belt and takes a deep breath, shaking his head slightly. He looks back towards the entrance area with a concerned look on his face. The camera zooms in on a closeup of the ECW Title belt as the segment ends.

Post-Match Segment
Zach celebrates mildly but he seems to have sinister thoughts on his mind. The "Maniac" takes an odd gaze at his beaten opponent and then climbs out of the ring... to grab a steel chair! Zach slides back into the ring and circles around H.E.R.O., holding the chair at his side. H.E.R.O. slowly sits up off the mat and tries to shake the cobwebs off, but doesn't spot Zach standing behind him with a weapon. Suddenly, Zach winds up... and smacks the chair right across H.E.R.O.'s back! The crowd voices their displeasure with the nasty shot, and H.E.R.O. arches his back in extreme pain. Zach flashes a crazed smile as he watches H.E.R.O. writhe in pain... but then continues to attack! Zach wails onto his foe with repeated shots until the rookie lays limp on the mat and barely flinches.
Suddenly, Hitman Jack races down the ramp! The ECW champ looks like he is going to help out his partner and stop the attack. But just as Jack reaches the ring, Zach is waiting and swings the chair at him! Hitman backs off for a second, trying to read the situation. He looks up and Zach holds the chair in a threatening manner, basically daring Jack to enter the ring and receive the same punishment! Hitman struggles with a decision, and the confused expression on his face brings a smile again to Zach's. The "Maniac" turns back and delivers yet another vicious shot to H.E.R.O.'s beaten body. The final shot prompts Hitman to enter the ring, but Zach exits at the same moment.
Hitman glares down Zach as he quickly walks away, but Jack stays with his injured ally in the ring. Hitman signals for medical personnel as he checks on H.E.R.O. and the segment comes to an end.

In-Ring Segment
After the final commercial break, we get back to the show and the fans erupt into huge cheers for... Rebel Ford's music! The rebellious fan favorite nearly pulled off a huge upset last Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV, battling tough but losing the World Heavyweight Title match to Eric Executioner. Late in the match, Rebel suffered a severe lower-leg injury and rumors have been rampant for the actual diagnosis. After a few anxious moments, the curtains peel back slowly and Rebel limps out onto the stage... with a crutch and a giant walking boot around his left ankle and foot! The crowd reacts in a shocked manner, and the look on Rebel's face is not one of happiness. He somberly heads down to the ring, and climbs in carefully. He requests a microphone in order to address the silenced crowd.
Rebel: "I'm not gonna lie... it's pretty hard to stand out here right now. I find myself compelled to say something, but I'm going to try and keep it together as best I can. Last Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV, I gave everything I had to earn back some sanity, some dignity... and the World Heavyweight Title. I put it all on the line, I tried to survive that hellacious environment... but I didn't leave unscathed. The first thing I really want to say about Sunday's match is... I'm sorry. I'm sorry to everyone who believed in me to get the job done. I'm sorry to everyone for my body betraying me at the worst moment and causing me to suffer the most emotional loss I've ever suffered. I'm sorry for failing to end Eric's reign of terror and put the title back in the hands of someone you can trust. I... I didn't get it done."
The crowd responds with a strong ovation, and Rebel nods in acknowledgement. He continues on.
Rebel: "I've visited with several doctors over my injury, but the diagnosis seems to be pretty simple. I broke my ankle. Pretty badly. I already have surgery scheduled and the early projections put me on a road to recovery of several weeks. After the surgery, we will have more information. I don't want anyone to be in the dark over this so..."
But before Rebel can finish his sentence... Eric Executioner's music blasts over the speakers! Rebel turns slowly and frowns at the stage angrily. The crowd reacts with resounding negativity, and it only gets worse when the World champ himself and his manager walks out on the stage! Mr. Black has a microphone, and begins to speak as they walk down to the ring.
Mr. Black: "Be in the dark? I'm sorry Rebel, but that's EXACTLY where I want people to be. You're hurt, Eric's still the champion... and that's all they need to know."
The sinister duo climb into the ring and surround Rebel in the ring. Rebel limps into the corner and glares angrily at them for interrupting him. Mr. Black chuckles and continues.
Mr. Black: "You see, you had bold thoughts of turning the tables on us but... you underestimated my client's power. When you fought as hard as you did, you revealed a side of my client that, to be honest, I didn't even know existed. He smashed your little ankle and gave himself the necessary advantage to win the match. He was willing to do whatever it took to get the job done, and for that... I am EXTREMELY proud! I told everyone that Eric would be champion forever, and I think he proved that on Sunday. If he can overcome in the Hell in a Cell, then he can overcome anything!"
Eric and Mr. Black glance at each other and then slowly start to approach Rebel.
Mr. Black: "But since you had the guts to come out here tonight, it appears that you didn't learn your lesson. So we decided to come out and... finish the job."
Rebel senses danger and raises his crutch to protect himself. He balances himself on his good leg, but it doesn't look good. Rebel threatens to swing the crutch and use it, but his threats simply draw laughs from both Eric and Mr. Black. But just as Eric attempts to reach out for Rebel...
... ACE'S MUSIC HITS!!! The crowd is stunned and erupts into a loud reaction! Eric and Mr. Black whip around and look at the stage in confusion, and Rebel also has a curious expression on his face! Is the "Ultimate Superstar" really back??? The music continues to play and the crowd gets more and more anxious, but Ace doesn't appear right away. After a few moments, Eric turns his attention back to Rebel and eyes him suspiciously. Finally, Eric gets fed up with the distraction and races across the ring in Rebel's direction!
But suddenly... Ace slides into the ring and SPEARS him! The crowd goes wild as the returning Ace stands tall in the middle of the ring, staring down at the hurt World champ! The narcissist clutches his gut in pain from the huge move, and Mr. Black looks at him with wide, surprised eyes! The camera pans around Ace and we catch a glimpse of a shocked and very confused Rebel Ford, who watches his former rival soak in the crowd's reaction! As Eric and Mr. Black exit the ring and leave quickly, the camera gets a closeup shot of Ace as the show comes to a end!

Week 2
Another LIVE episode of Smackdown begins in the home of the Alamo... San Antonio, Texas!
In-Ring Segment
After the initial pyrotechnic display opens the show, the excited crowd reacts again... to the entrance music of Ace! The "Ultimate Superstar" made his shocking return to the blue brand last week, saving Rebel Ford from an attack by Eric Executioner. Ace delivered a nasty Pocket Rocket spear to the World Heavyweight champ before he could get his hands on the injured Rebel, which raised a lot of questions. Hopefully, his appearance to open the show tonight will answer some of them.
Ace confidently appears and garners a mixed, unsure reaction from the crowd. He walks briskly to the ring and climbs in, requesting a microphone. He accepts one and stands in the middle of ring, chin slightly raised as he listens to the fans. After a long pause, he begins to speak.
Ace: "Yes it's true... I'm back! And I can't begin to tell you how excited I really am to be back here on Smackdown. I know I took a unannounced, long vacation but it was much needed. One day, I took a look in the mirror and asked myself... what am I doing? Why am I acting like a jackass? I needed to take a break in order to find myself again. Find the man I know I am. Find the mindset that will bring back long-term success."
It's becoming clear to the fans that Ace has turned a new leaf. He seems happier and more confident, and they begin to react accordingly.
Ace: "For months, I became a jealous, blinded idiot. I became paranoid. I watched as you fans began to cheer others, and I was the World champ. And I couldn't handle it! So slowly I became more and more enraged that I continued to successfully defend the top title on Smackdown, yet I was receiving less and less love. And when Rebel beat me to take the World Title back in April, I snapped. It was the last straw for me. I was blinded by my pursuit of the title, and nothing else mattered. I didn't react to things in a normal manner. I couldn't even get the victories I wanted because I was so focused on getting that title back that I took risks in the ring that didn't pay off. I lost to Angus in a table match. I teamed up with Rebel's former girlfriend because I thought it would give me another chance at the title. She became enamored with me, but I wanted nothing to do with her. I was simply using her to get ahead. The night after the King of the Ring PPV, I was staying in a hotel before traveling to the next Smackdown location. I was so pissed over losing again, but suddenly it hit me. Why was I going to these nasty lengths just to get a title shot? Why was I losing matches repeatedly in situations I would never lose before? I didn't feel good about myself. So... I had to go. I had to rediscover what made me the 'Ultimate Superstar' to begin with. And now... I'm back, and I'm ready to make an impact again!"
The crowd gives him some support as he pauses for a moment. He then continues.
Ace: "I was selfish and blinded by gold. But now, I'm ready to fight for it the right way. While I was gone, I kept an eye on the happenings here at Smackdown. I needed to be aware of recent events, so when I make my re-entry I would be ready. And I'll be honest... I don't like the way Eric Executioner and Mr. Black have been taking over the place. Their actions are despicable and they both need a swift kick in the ass! Rebel Ford fought hard and stood up against them. I respect Rebel way more now than I did before. I respect the effort he made to get the World Title back. But now... someone else needs to continue the fight where he left off. Rebel fell just short, but his efforts CANNOT go to waste. With his injury keeping him out of action, that puts somebody back in the #1 contender spot. And that somebody... is ME! I want another shot at the World Title. I'm not going to be blinded by rage. My anger is extremely focused, and my target is Eric Executioner. Someone needs to put him back in his place, and undermine the influence Mr. Black has. Their reign of terror has gone on long enough. It's time for someone else to represent Smackdown proudly!"
The crowd applauds Ace's intentions, but the goodwill generated from his return gets interrupted... by Joseph T. Lutte! The reigning Intercontinental Champion strolls out onto the stage with his AC/DC theme blaring, and Ace turns his head and scowls at the "Fantastic Frenchman". Joseph stands at a slight angle with a cocky expression on his face as he addresses Ace.
Joseph: "Pardonnez-moi, but I going to speak for a large collection of the audience and ask... who are you?"
Ace does not appreciate Lutte's sarcasm, but the Frenchman continues before he can respond.
Joseph: "It appears to me that you've been gone for SO long that many of us have forgot about you. You're an afterthought, a nobody. And you think you should be declared the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title? Ha ha! Very funny. The REAL contender should be someone who's proven to everyone that they are successful on a regular basis. Someone who's proven that they can win titles and handle the responsibilities appropriately. Someone who's already a proven champ... like ME! According to me and others, YOU really haven't proven anything except for being WORTHLESS! We can't have a worthless man competing for the top prize. That's just not entertaining at all!"
Ace cuts Joseph off before he can throw out more insults.
Ace: "So you think I need to prove myself? I have no problem with that. In fact... how about you bring your sorry ass down to the ring... and I'll prove myself WORTHY by beating you in a match RIGHT NOW???"
Joseph: "Hmm... sounds like an intriguing idea. I graciously accept!"
The crowd cheers for the exciting prospect of an Ace vs. Joseph T. Lutte match! As the Frenchman strolls down to the ring, it appears that that very match is going to happen... right now!

Ace vs. Joseph T. Lutte
The Intercontinental champ strolls down to the ring as Ace paces and loosens up, and the crowd gets pumped up for the impromptu match! Joseph enters and smirks arrogantly at the "Ultimate Superstar", but Ace stays focused on his foe. The bell rings and the battle gets underway!
Ace comes firing out with wild punches, stunning the "Fantastic Frenchman". Ace knocks Joseph into the corner and smacks him around, drawing cheers from the excited crowd. Ace continues his assault and starts delivering a series of impressive moves, including a few suplexes and a swinging cutter. It appears as though there is no ring rust on Ace's return!
But despite the early edge, Joseph uses his dirty tactics to turn the tide. Ace tosses Joseph into the corner and tries to follow up with a corner clothesline, but Joseph counters with a kick to the jaw! Joseph steps over and gouges his opponent's eyes, before delivering a nasty kick to the back. The referee gives Joseph a stern warning, but the Frenchman brushes him off. The Intercontinental champ begins a strategic attack on his foe, targeting different areas with well-executed moves. Joseph gradually becomes more and more arrogant as he continues to damage the "Ultimate Superstar", taunting the crowd with snide comments and gestures.
The action spills outside when Joseph tosses Ace into the ropes, but his follow-up clothesline was countered. The "Ultimate Superstar" lifts Joseph up and sends him flying down to the ringside floor! Ace climbs out and both men trade blows outside the ring. Eventually Ace gets control again, reversing an Irish whip and sending the champ crashing into the barricade! Ace follows up by dropping Joseph chest-first onto the barricade, and snapping a suplex onto the floor. With his foe reeling, Ace rolls him back into the ring and quickly pounces on the opportunity to finish him off.
A woozy Joseph staggers to his feet, but Ace is right there to deliver a Falling Star signature! The crowd gets fired up as Ace backs into the corner and taunts for the Frenchman to rise off the mat again. When Joseph gets up, Ace sprints and nails him with a Pocket Rocket spear! Ace goes for the cover and gets the pinfall for the win!
WINNER: Ace

Post-Match Segment
Moments after the match, Ace's celebration gets cut off... by a sudden attack! World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner enters the ring and blasts Ace with a lead pipe! The narcissist draws huge boos from the crowd as he wallops his returning rival with merciless shots to the back and ribs. Ace groans loudly in pain with each shot, but Eric does not let up! Eventually Ace's body goes limp and Eric backs off, laughing softly to himself. Ace lays prone on the mat, breathing heavily and wincing in pain.
Down to the ring strolls Mr. Black, and the creepy manager looks pleased with his client's actions. Mr. Black climbs into the ring and circles Ace slowly. Eric steps over and provides protection in case Ace wants to retaliate, but the "Ultimate Superstar" doesn't seem capable right now. Satisfied with the situation, Mr. Black crouches closer and speaks.
Mr. Black: "Hello Ace. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mr. Black. Apparently you don't know me that well. You see, I have enlisted Eric here to not only protect me but also to reign uncontested over the Smackdown brand. And let me be honest with you... you made a BIG mistake by coming back. You should have stayed away! But I do understand the need to come back. You need to get paid, you want to feel that success again. But you made an even BIGGER mistake... you made my client your target! You claimed that you watched and respected Rebel's efforts. But you clearly didn't learn anything from his mistakes! I suggest you move on... before an attack like this happens more... OFTEN. Goodbye, Ace."
Mr. Black gently lays the microphone next to Ace's face and chuckles before motioning to Eric to leave. The World champ exits the ring and his manager follows closely behind. Medical personnel enters the ring to check on Ace, but he wearily waves them off as he rises off the mat. The "Ultimate Superstar" glares down the sinister duo as they head backstage!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show and spy the Bullet Boyz chilling backstage. Craig is perched up on top of a giant metal storage crate, while Tony is leaning. As the foster brothers chat, a familiar trio approaches... Master Kimoto, Alpha & Omega! The Bullet Boyz spot them coming and both roll their eyes. Craig jumps off the crate and stands next to his partner, and they both cross their arms in annoyance. The Japanese luchador duo stand opposed and cross their arms as well, while Master Kimoto steps in between the two pairs. Master Kimoto speaks for his pupils.
Master Kimoto: "Excuse me gentlemen, but I would like to propose a Tag Team Title matchup. Last week, you requested that my students compete in more high-profile matches before issuing a challenge. Last night Alpha & Omega fairly defeated Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture, a former Tag Team champion pair. Would you consider that victory be strong enough to accept our match proposal?"
Craig: "Seriously? This again? After 1 win?"
Tony: "Apparently they don't seem to understand how pathetic they are."
Craig: "Pathetic is a great word, Tony. Weak, worthless, annoying... those are great too!"
Alpha & Omega scowl angrily behind their masks, and Master Kimoto doesn't seem very pleased either. He interrupts Craig & Tony's disrespectful rant.
Master Kimoto: "I'm sensing by your response that you are not accepting our match request. If so, what would be a more appropriate accomplishment that you would honor?"
Craig: "Accomplishment? Well since your little lapdogs don't have any, maybe they should work up to becoming #1 contenders. It's impossible, but whatever. Feel free to beat yourselves up... literally!"
Craig & Tony bust out laughing and walk away. Master Kimoto watches them exit, but a smile slowly forms on his face. The elderly mentor nods confidently as the segment ends!

Intercontinental #1 Contender - Beat the Clock
Challenge Match:
Paulie Dominos vs. Antonio Jordan
With Zach Wesley currently in the lead with a 3:05 victory last week, the Beat-the-Clock Challenge continues! The first match of the night pits "Mr. Amazing" against "America's Favorite", and Paulie D. dances his way to the ring. After the "Jersey Fist-Pumper" climbs in, the crowd erupts for Antonio! The "Mastermind" strolls down to the ring confidently and looks ready to earn another chance to face Joseph T. Lutte. The bell ring, the timer starts and they prepare to do battle!
Right from the beginning, it seems like Antonio's ultra-focus gives him an overwhelming advantage. With limited time to work in hopes of beating the time limit, Antonio gets control of his foe and dominates. Huge suplexes, a leaping clothesline off the turnbuckle and a running knee to the chin puts "America's Favorite" in complete control and damages Paulie D. majorly. A brief counter stops Antonio's momentum when Paulie lands a dropkick, but Jordan counters back with a nasty DDT!
After a belly-to-belly suplex, Antonio snatches "Mr. Amazing" around the shoulders... and drops him with his American Dream finisher! Antonio goes for the cover, and the crowd cheers when the referee counts the decisive 3! A quick check of the timer reveals... a 1:41 finish! Antonio dominated Paulie D. so thoroughly that he won the match more than a minute faster than the time limit!
WINNER (in 1:41): Antonio Jordan
Right from the beginning, it seems like Antonio's ultra-focus gives him an overwhelming advantage. With limited time to work in hopes of beating the time limit, Antonio gets control of his foe and dominates. Huge suplexes, a leaping clothesline off the turnbuckle and a running knee to the chin puts "America's Favorite" in complete control and damages Paulie D. majorly. A brief counter stops Antonio's momentum when Paulie lands a dropkick, but Jordan counters back with a nasty DDT!

Post-Match Segment
Antonio celebrates proudly and soon has a friend... Krizz Torture! Antonio's American Cool teammate jogs down to the ring to congratulate his pal. Antonio spots him and the two share a big hug, and Antonio's excitement seems to grow every second. A victory in only 1:41 means he is very likely to earn the Intercontinental Title match. Krizz applauds and pats his friend on the back as Antonio raises his arms happily.
Their celebration gets ruined a bit by a few more appearances... the G.L.O.W. team! Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte and English partner Quinn Cadbury walk out onto the stage and stare down their rivals. Krizz alerts Antonio, and they both turn to meet their gaze. But instead of getting angry, Krizz and Antonio smirk back confidently. Their response severely angers Joseph, and the "Frenchman" snarls as the segment comes to an end!

Backstage Segment
We return to the show after a commercial break and get a shot of a very furious Joseph T. Lutte pacing in the locker room. Leaning up against a nearby locker is Quinn Cadbury, but the "English Gentleman" doesn't seem fazed by the situation. Joseph addresses his thoughts out loud.
Joseph: "This is an outrage! How can he win that match so quickly? I don't want to face him again!"
Quinn: "I'm sorry, gent. I was shocked as well."
Joseph: "I can't believe this. What are we going to do?"
Quinn: "We? This whole situation could've been avoided if you listened to me in the first place! I told you to give me a title match."
Joseph: "Huh? Come on, Quinn. That's not very realistic. How would that look giving a title match to my tag team partner?"
Quinn slightly shakes his head, showing disapproval. Joseph continues to pace.
Joseph: "I need to figure out what to do."
Quinn: "I have an idea. I'll try to help out. I'll keep you informed."
Joseph looks confused, but Quinn bolts out of the room before the Intercontinental champ can stop him or ask questions. Joseph thinks deeply as the segment ends.

Backstage Segment
Audrey heads backstage after her victory and is greeted by her exuberant American Cool teammates! Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture each give her a big hug and all 3 shout and cheer excitedly. After the initial celebration, they chat.
Krizz: "Nice work, Aud! Way to show that Women's champ who's boss!"
Antonio: "Yeah that was awesome! Both of us got big wins tonight."
Audrey: "Thanks, guys! I really worked hard out there."
But suddenly, their pow-wow got joined by a few angry persons... the Jersey Family! Paulie Dominos and Jersey Jenny stroll up and do not seem pleased. The siblings quickly let their feelings known.
Paulie: "Yo man, this little back-slapping party is over."
Jenny: "Yeah this ain't a party at all. You are straight-up disrespecting us!"
Antonio: "Uhh... huh? Disrespecting you?"
Paulie: "Yeah man! You made me look like a fool out there!"
Jenny: "And that BITCH had to punk me in front of everyone!"
Audrey reaches out to start a fight, but Krizz holds her back. Jenny tries to brawl as well, but Paulie pushes her back too.
Antonio: "What do you two want? We beat you both fair and square, now you're here dropping insults. Get outta here!"
Paulie: "Nah we want something, bro. Jenny and I want a match against you and Audrey next week. Mixed-tag style. We're gonna show you who the better male/female team REALLY is! You can win individually, but can you work together? Ha ha! We don't think so!"
Antonio: "You're on!"
Paulie grabs Jenny before she can start a brawl again, and they walk briskly away. Antonio shakes his head and turns to calm a very angry Audrey as the segment ends.

Backstage Interview
In the interview area, we see Lillian Garcia standing next to ECW champ Hitman Jack. Last week, Zach Wesley beat Hitman's new tag partner H.E.R.O. in the Beat the Clock Challenge but attacked him after the match. Hitman tried to rescue his pal but got threatened by the "Mohawked Maniac", who used the distraction to deliver one final chair shot. Lillian starts the interview with a very angry "Lethal Canadian".
Lillian: "Hello everyone! Hitman Jack, can we have an update on H.E.R.O.?"
Hitman: "Sure, Lillian. He is recovering nicely. He suffered a few minor injuries after last week's... attack. As you can tell, I'm pretty pissed about it. That stupid maniac took it too far. I had no problem with him defeating H.E.R.O. despite some understandable disappointment. But attacking him with a chair for no reason? Not called for! I'm going to get revenge."
Suddenly, a dark presence appears... Zach Wesley! The "Maniac" towers over the ECW champ and tries to intimidate him, but his appearance only angers Hitman Jack more. Zach speaks in a deep tone.
Zach: "No reason? You think I attacked your little buddy for no reason? You must not pay attention to the things you say. A few months ago, you commented that you wanted to bring prestige back to the ECW Title. Bring prestige back? So while I held that same title for over 6 months last year, it was losing prestige. You disrespected my entire reign! So here's what's going to happen. I'm going to prove you wrong. I'm going to show you just how important that title was to me by beating you head-to-head in a match. And not only that... I'm going to treat you the same way I treated your little buddy last week!"
Zach laughs heartily as Hitman seethes with anger. The ECW champ doesn't back down and responds.
Hitman: "Make all the threats you want, Maniac. I'm not going to back down! I accept your stupid match! And not only am I going to beat YOU, I'm going to prove to everyone that this title belongs in MY hands!"
The two rivals glare intensely as the segment ends!

MAIN EVENT
Intercontinental #1 Contender - Beat the Clock
Challenge Match:
Billy Carter vs. ???
The fans get excited for the conclusion of the Smackdown Beat-the-Clock Challenge as the night's main event, which will pit the "Canadian Bomber" against a mystery opponent! The time to beat is 1:41 from Antonio Jordan's victory earlier, which means either Billy or his foe will have to get control fast in order to earn the title shot. Before the actual match participants come out, we are greeted by... the entrance of Joseph T. Lutte! The perturbed Intercontinental Champion walks briskly down to the ring and grabs a seat near the announce table. It's pretty clear that the "Fantastic Frenchman" wants to get his eyes on this final challenge match himself. After Joseph gets comfortable, the camera switches backstage briefly to show the American Cool trio watching the match on a TV as well! Antonio smiles proudly and chats with his friends as they await the match.
Billy makes his normal entrance first, taunting the crowd as he heads to the ring. After Billy enters, several anxious moments pass as everyone waits to see who the identity of the mystery foe is. Then suddenly... Quinn Cadbury's music hits! A collective feeling of shock overcomes the entire arena as the "English Gentleman" strolls confidently to the ring! Joseph's tag partner has entered himself into the challenge, and could theoretically earn the title match he's been requesting for weeks! Joseph seems very confused as he watches his G.L.O.W. teammate get to the ring slowly. Quinn climbs in and seems very confident about the match, despite the strange feeling around.
The bell rings and the timer starts, but both Quinn and Billy approach each other cautiously. They both put up their fists and circle each other, ready to fight. But suddenly... Billy lowers his hands! Quinn smirks underneath his mustache... and throws a wicked haymaker! Billy collapses onto the mat and appears to be knocked out! Quinn slowly goes for the cover and the confused referee counts the 1-2-3!!!
Mass confusion reigns as soon as the bell rings and Quinn is wildly celebrating! Joseph rises off his seat and raises his arms with a very perplexed expression. A cut backstage shows a very shocked and angry American Cool trio watching the event on the TV. Back in the ring, Quinn celebrates winning the challenge in less than 30 seconds, but the controversy is so thick it causes the crowd to erupt into a rage!
The huge confused scene continues as the show goes off the air!

Week 3
WWE invades the Big Easy for another LIVE episode of Friday Night Smackdown in New Orleans, Louisiana!
Zach Wesley vs. Hitman Jack
The first match of the night is a grudge match pitting the ECW champ up against the "Mohawked Maniac"! A few weeks ago, Zach Wesley took some unnecessary liberties following his Beat-the-Clock Challenge victory over H.E.R.O., attacking the rookie with a steel chair. Hitman Jack tried to save his partner but was unable to do more than simply chase him away. Then last week, Hitman aired his grievances with Wesley's actions which prompted a response from the "Maniac" himself. Supposedly, Hitman's comments a few months ago regarding restoring the prestige of the ECW Title rubbed Zach the wrong way, as it implied a disrespect to his previous reign. A match was made, and tonight they'll settle their issues in the ring!
Zach's haunting Slipknot theme blares throughout the arena to signify his entrance, and the New Orleans crowd voices their displeasure. The "Maniac" stalks to the ring, shakes the ring ropes wildly and shouts at the fans. Then, Hitman's Rage Against the Machine entrance song hits and the crowd does a complete 180, cheering loudly for the "Lethal Canadian"! Jack walks calmly to the ring and does not seem intimidated at all by Zach's presence. The bell rings, and these grapplers get after it!
The odd clash of styles made for an interesting match, as Hitman's technical approach faced off against Zach's ferocious brawling. Zach took control early on by using his brute strength, but the ever-resilient Hitman Jack rallied back. Using his underrated strength, Hitman planted the "Maniac" with a series of suplexes and began to target his foe's back. Wesley would not go down easily though, and managed to get in a few moves of his own.
But midway through the match, a surprise intruder caused a disruption... H.E.R.O.! In the ring, Zach and Hitman were battling but the "Maniac" managed to drop his opponent to the mat with a two-handed chokeslam. Suddenly, the crowd swelled with a positive cheer... and the rising rookie appeared out of nowhere! The look on H.E.R.O.'s face indicated fierce anger and he didn't take long to show his plan... as he snatched a steel chair from ringside! The rookie slid into the ring behind an unsuspecting "Maniac" and stood there for a moment, waving the chair and waiting for a good moment to strike. The referee spotted him first and ordered him out, but H.E.R.O. wouldn't budge from his position. The ref's distraction alerted Zach to the new presence in the ring and he turned around to look. But just as the "Maniac" rotated... H.E.R.O. struck with a nasty chair shot right to the forehead! Zach flopped to the mat and the referee immediately called for the bell, signaling a disqualification for the ECW champ!
Hitman had come to his senses just a moment before, but couldn't stop his partner from delivering the shot. The ECW champ quickly grabbed the rookie and pulled him away before he could inflict any more damage. Hitman was a little upset over the DQ loss, but seemed more concerned with the current mindset of his tag partner! H.E.R.O. just glared at Zach as Hitman tried to talk him down, but eventually Jack just took his title belt and began to escort his pal away from ringside. In the ring, Zach sat up and shook off the cobwebs. He rose to his feet and a deep anger began to bubble inside him as he glared back at the duo!

Backstage Segment
The cameras venture backstage and into the locker rooms, where we come across a conversation between... Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury! Last week's Smackdown episode ended in mass confusion as Quinn was the final entry into the Beat-the-Clock Challenge and won due to nefarious means to supposedly earn the title shot against his tag team partner. It appears that Billy Carter deliberately took a fall to help Quinn win, but many folks have wondered why and how that event came about. Hopefully, the G.L.O.W. members' conversation will clear things up.
Joseph: "Okay Quinn, explain yourself. What happened last week?"
Quinn: "There's nothing to worry about, old chap. Everything is under control."
Joseph: "But I just don't understand. How did you win that match so quickly? With ONE punch?"
Quinn: "Joseph, I'm surprised with you! Come on, you should recognize the tactic. It's an old European Wrestling League underhanded move. You pay someone to take a dive. Said person takes a dive for you. You win! Simple as that."
Joseph: "Ahh... so you paid Billy to take a fall for you?"
Quinn: "Of course! You're not the only one with wealth around here."
Joseph: "Okay so I now understand how that match turned out. But what I still don't understand is... why you want a title shot against me. You've been requesting one for weeks. And finally, you go behind my back to enter the challenge. And then paid off someone to help you win! I just can't seem to grasp the reason why you would be so determined to face me."
Joseph has a very suspicious look on his face. Quinn reads his partner's eyes for a moment but then smiles and responds.
Quinn: "Joseph, my friend. Don't you see what I'm doing? We agreed some time ago that this Intercontinental Title belt should stay around the waist of a proud European wrestler. What better way to ensure that happens than to schedule a title match between two Europeans? So now, no matter what happens we can keep the belt between US! Nobody else can even get close to the belt if we are in complete control of it!"
Joseph still seems a little suspicious, but Quinn's response lets him relax a little. As he thinks more about Quinn's ideas, he seems to warm up to the idea.
Joseph: "I suppose that could be a good idea. I mean, we would have to remain friendly to keep it going. I know how competitive we both can get! We did have a very long and brutal rivalry back in the EWL."
Quinn: "Yes, but the past is the past. Right, my friend?"
Joseph and Quinn smile at each other and their animosity seems to fade away. But suddenly, a new person enters the conversation... Smackdown GM Teddy Long! Teddy enters the frame and addresses the G.L.O.W. team.
Teddy: "Excuse me, gentlemen but we have some things to discuss. Quinn... I did not like the way the Beat-the-Clock Challenge ended last week. Paying off other wrestlers to take a fall? That is not proper and honest, playa! Therefore, you will compete in a #1 contender's match against Krizz Torture! I would have scheduled you against Antonio Jordan since he finished 2nd in the challenge, but Antonio & Audrey Vega already have a match tonight. And since Krizz won a challenge match fairly, he should be given another chance since you decided to rig the contest unfairly."
Quinn groans but has no choice but to accept the match. Joseph angrily opposes.
Joseph: "I'm sorry, Mr. Long but I don't see that as a fair way to handle this. My partner won his match in the quickest time. That's all the challenge was about! He shouldn't have to compete in another match. And I won't let him!"
Teddy: "Oh Joseph, I wouldn't worry too much about your partner tonight. You, sir, will have OTHER obligations. Let Quinn compete and prove he deserves the title match he earned. You just concentrate on the match you will be in later. Good luck to the both of you. Holla holla holla!"
Teddy briskly saunters down the hallway as the camera rotates around to focus in on the Intercontinental champ. A very confused look comes over Joseph's face as the segment comes to an end. What other obligations did he mean?

Intercontinental #1 Contender's Match:
Quinn Cadbury vs. Krizz Torture
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show and the fans are put off by the arrogant entrance of Quinn Cadbury! The current #1 contender struts to the ring and prepares to put his controversial title shot on the line against a rival. Soon after, Krizz Torture comes out and the New Orleans crowd fires up, hoping to see the "2 Cool" superstar knock the "English Gentleman" off his perch. The rivals circle each other as the bell rings to start the match!
A very evenly-paced match warms the fans up, as Quinn and Krizz trade blows and moves with neither man gaining control. Finally, Krizz reverses an Irish whip attempt and drops Quinn with a back body drop to take the upper hand. Krizz follows up with some power moves, including a two-handed chokeslam and his KT Slam!
Krizz seems to have the edge for a while, but Quinn rallies back. Krizz tosses him into the corner, but his attempted clothesline was avoided and his head smacked off the turnbuckle. Quinn pounced quickly, lifting his dazed foe onto the top turnbuckle... and dropping him with a huge superplex! The move puts Quinn in control and he begins to work Krizz's arms and shoulders. The repeated, pinpointed attacks set the Englishman up for his signature submission hold, the English Armbar! Quinn snaps his foe down and locks in the move as Krizz groans in pain!
But Quinn initiated the move too close to the ropes, and Krizz manages to get a foot onto the bottom rope! Upset and annoyed, Quinn extends the hold despite the referee's order to release and finally ends the hold just before the referee's 5 count. Krizz survives the hold, but it seems to have damaged him too much to respond. Quinn uses his anger to his advantage, following up quickly by setting his foe up for his finisher! Quinn kisses his biceps to taunt the crowd, lifts Krizz up... and nails his head into the mat with his Royal Mutilation piledriver! Quinn goes for the cover and gets the successful pin to defend his #1 contender status!
WINNER: Quinn Cadbury

Post-Match Segment
After the match, Quinn celebrates briefly but an odd expression comes over his face as he eyes his defeated rival. Krizz writhes on the mat in pain, and Quinn paces nearby for a few seconds. The Englishman then exits the ring to grab a... steel chair! The crowd starts jeering him and imploring him not to go through with an unwarranted attack. Quinn slides back into the ring and shoves the referee out of the way. He chuckles to himself as the chair dangles by his side. Quinn slowly raises the chair above his head...
... but suddenly, Antonio Jordan sprints into the ring! Quinn spots the "Mastermind" coming and retreats quickly, sliding back out of the ring and dropping the chair. Antonio crouches near his tag partner and eyes Quinn angrily. The Englishman laughs to himself and taunts Antonio as he exits. In the ring, Krizz comes to his senses and seems surprised to his ally protecting him. As the segment ends, it appears that Antonio tells Krizz what happened and the "2 Cool" superstar shakes his head in anger.

In-Ring Segment
Down to the ring approaches World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner and his manager Mr. Black! The New Orleans crowd does not give them a very welcome greeting, but it doesn't seem to bother the creepy duo. Eric and Mr. Black climb into the ring and the sinister manager requests a microphone. With an unsettling smile on his face, Mr. Black speaks.
Mr. Black: "Last week we sent a message to that stupid, pathetic excuse for a man. A man who turned his back on all of you over jealousy. A man who returned after a self-imposed vacation and suddenly was good and wholesome. It sounds a little... fake... phony... artificial. So we decided to act on our instincts and send a very violent message to him. It's so simple what a shot to the back with a lead pipe can say! The only thing left to confirm is if our friend Ace is willing... willing to back off."
A moment later, Ace's music hits! The crowd gives a pretty supportive cheer for him and a very furious Ace walks out onto the stage. The "Ultimate Superstar" paces back and forth on the stage as he eyes the duo in the ring, but backing down seems to be the last thing on his mind. Ace then shows no fear as he walks down to the ring, standing strong as he climbs into the ring to confront his foes.
Ace: "Backing off? Backing off? There is no way in HELL that I'm backing off. You think one little attack is going to scare me? I've been watching you two for months. I was expecting you to orchestrate some silly intimidation tactic. You just think sending Eric on some violent mission and then blabbing your mouth is going to convince me to stand down and walk away? Listen to this very carefully. BOTH of you need to shut your mouths and listen to ME now. Not only am I NOT going to back off but... I'm going to WIN the World Title!"
Mr. Black and Eric glance at each other... and burst into laughter! Their disrespect angers Ace even more, and the "Ultimate Superstar" just seethes as he glares at them. Mr. Black calms down and responds.
Mr. Black: "A very stupid decision, but we're not surprised. Your overconfidence will be your downfall, yet again. In the event that you wouldn't back off, we went ahead and requested a main event match tonight. It's a simple tag team match. Remember the man you faced and beat last week? Let's just say that you've got another person motivated to beat you. Eric will team up with Joseph T. Lutte tonight, against you... and... hmm... I don't really know. Oh wait! I remember now! We're letting you choose a partner for tonight's match. But of course, before you left on your little 'vacation'... you alienated so many people that finding a partner may be... near impossible! So good luck finding a partner tonight. Because if you don't... then the tag match will just simply become a handicap match! Good luck Ace!"
Mr. Black brushes past Ace and exits the ring, and the World champ takes a moment to glare at his rival before following. As the duo leaves, Ace watches them but it's clear that he's deep in thought already about finding a partner. Ace's pondering expression is the final image of the segment!

Antonio Jordan & Audrey Vega vs.
Paulie Dominos & Jersey Jenny
A mixed-tag match stemming from last week's events pairs the American Cool couple against the Jersey Family! Antonio Jordan dominated Paulie Dominos in their Beat-the-Clock Challenge match, while Audrey Vega pinned the Women's champ last in a 4-way elimination match. The siblings felt disrespected and demanded a mixed-tag match, to which Antonio & Audrey gladly accepted!
"America's Favorite" and the "American Woman" came out first to a raucous cheer and strolled confidently to the ring together. Soon after, the thumping LMFAO song hit and the Jersey Family danced down to the ring! The crowd didn't give them a nice welcome, but the siblings taunted and boogied all the way down the ramp. The men agreed to start the match off for their respective teams, and the match gets underway!
A very focused Antonio takes control early, dropping Paulie D with a belly-to-belly suplex and a sharp DDT. Paulie counters back with a few moves, but Antonio gains control again before tagging out to his girlfriend. Paulie is sent into his corner to tag out, and Audrey and the Women's champ square off. Jenny throws some wild punches to daze Audrey, but the "American Woman" counters an Irish whip with a Lou Thesz Press! The move puts Audrey in control, and she starts damaging the Women's champ with an impressive array of moves.
With the momentum rolling, Audrey tags back out to Antonio while a frustrated J.J. sends her brother back in. Despite Paulie's desperate attempt to change the match pace, Antonio's strength overwhelms "Mr. Amazing". After knocking Paulie D. to the mat and leaping off the turnbuckle with a flying kneedrop, Antonio follows up by snatching his staggering foe and delivering his signature Star-Spangled Suplex! Paulie D. wearily rises to his feet as Antonio fires up the crowd and prepares for his finisher, and Audrey races across the ring to attack the Women's champ! With Jenny at bay, Antonio has time to plant Paulie with a solid American Dream finisher, and covers him to score the successful 1-2-3 pinfall!
Antonio and Audrey celebrate proudly as the crowd cheers them on, and they share a happy kiss to the delight of all!

Backstage Segment
Moments before the main event, the cameras switch backstage near the entrance area. Warming up is Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte, who looks very focused as he preps for the match. As the "Fantastic Frenchman" loosens up, Eric Executioner and Mr. Black approach. The World Heavyweight champ gives Joseph a slight shove to get his attention, and Mr. Black steps up to speak.
Mr. Black: "Ahh Joseph... we are excited to be teaming up with you again. But of course, this is not the first time we've tried this tandem. Let me give you a stern reminder to try to stay out of the way and let Eric do the work. Your poor performance last time ruined the match. We would love to win this match, and your help is much appreciated."
Joseph is taken aback by Mr. Black's comments, and a confused, angry expression comes over his face.
Joseph: "Listen here, Monsieur Black. I'm not just going to sit back and let Eric dominate the course of the match. You wanted me to participate, and I reluctantly agreed. But I agreed not just to adhere to Eric's will. I want to win the match for MYSELF as well. I'm going to go out there and show just how good of a wrestler I am. You can blame me for the past match all you want, but I know that tag team matches are as much about teamwork as it is about talent. So tell your CLIENT that he better be a good partner and not a selfish one."
Mr. Black glances up at Eric, who is scowling as he glares at the Intercontinental champ. Mr. Black chuckles to himself as he responds.
Mr. Black: "Sure, sure Joseph. Believe what you want to believe. Let's just say that is it in your best interests to play by MY rules. See you out there, champ."
Eric and Mr. Black walk away, and the camera turns to get a closeup of Joseph. The "Fantastic Frenchman" has a very confused look on his face as he slowly turns to make his entrance.

MAIN EVENT:
Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black) & Joseph T. Lutte vs.
Ace & ???
The New Orleans crowd is psyched up for the final match of the night, and they give the Intercontinental Champion a huge round of boos as his theme song hits! Joseph struts to the ring confidently and doesn't seem at all bothered by Mr. Black's recent threat, and the "Fantastic Frenchman" taunts the crowd as he normally does. Next, Eric's theme hits and the fans boo even louder for the World Heavyweight champ and his creepy manager. The narcissist stalks to the ring and enters slowly, taking a moment to intimidate his tag partner.
As Joseph and Eric struggle to communicate strategy effectively, the crowd erupts into cheers for Ace! The "Ultimate Superstar" walks confidently out onto the stage and paces back and forth as his theme plays. As his music fades out, he stands there strongly but the anxiousness grows as everyone waits to see if he found a partner. Near the ring, Mr. Black stands with his arms crossed and chuckles to himself, seemingly convinced that Ace would go into battle alone. But suddenly... a HUGE surprise is revealed when... ANGUS comes out!!! The crowd roars with approval as Ace's former rival strolls out to his theme song and draws a shocked look from Mr. Black! The unbeaten "Irish Giant" and current Mr. Money in the Bank stands next to Ace confidently, and gives his tag partner for the night a supportive pat on the back. Ace nods to him and the teammates head down to the ring together to take the challenge on!
Ace and Joseph start the match off, and the athletic abilities of both men get put on display right off the bat. For every slam and elbow drop that Ace can deliver, Joseph counters back with suplexes and dirty kicks to the ribs. Joseph tags out to Eric, and the World champ overwhelms his rival with his brute strength. But Ace battles back just enough to tag out to Angus, and the initial staredown between the "Irish Giant" and the narcissist is intense! Eric doesn't back down from the larger man, and starts a big fight against him. The fans are impressed with how Angus is able to actually overpower the World champ at times, which slowly begins to frustrate Eric and Mr. Black.
The match seems to be very even between both teams, but the lack of chemistry between Eric and Joseph turns out to be their downfall. As Ace and Angus continue to rally back and take control, Eric and Joseph start to bicker out of frustration. Mr. Black tries his best to keep his client focused on the match, but it's obvious he is not interested in working with Joseph. To make matters worse, Ace is able to nail Joseph with his Pocket Rocket spear and goes for a pinfall. Mr. Black tries to distract the referee to give Eric time to break it up and ruin Ace's chance to score the win... but the referee has had enough of Mr. Black's meddling and orders him away from the ring! Security comes out and escorts a seething Mr. Black up the ramp, but the creepy manager stands on the stage and watches the remainder of the match.
After Mr. Black's ejection, Joseph crawls to the corner and Eric tags himself in. The World champ races into the ring hoping to change the momentum by himself, but Ace and Angus are well-prepared for his rush. Ace counters a big move and tags in the "Irish Giant", who puts the finishing damages on their opponent. In a awesome display of strength, Angus grabs Eric... and easily lifts him above his head! The "Irish Giant" pumps him 3 times before sending him into the air to crash down in his Cliffhanger finisher! After Eric bounces hard off the mat, Ace sprints across the ring and clotheslines Joseph off the apron! In the ring, Angus goes for the cover and the referee counts 1... 2... 3!!! Angus scores a huge upset to keep his winning streak alive!
After the match, the crowd erupts into a huge cheer for the winning team as Ace and Angus celebrate the victory proudly. The World champ rolls out of the ring angrily, shaking his head with rage as he exits. Eric walks up the ramp to join his disappointed manager on the stage, and the duo take a moment to stare down the winners in the ring. As the show ends, we catch an intense staredown between a furious Eric and a smiling Ace!

Last week, Angus agreed to team up with his former rival and helped him defeat World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner and Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte in a main event tag match. Ace senses the large presence in the room and turns around to identify him. Ace smirks and nods at Angus before speaking.
Ace: "Angus, my man. Thanks a lot for your help last week. Man, it felt good to beat those fools."
Angus: "No problem, fella. I've been keeping an eye on you ever since you came back. I'll admit that I was suspicious at first. But I sense a true change in you since we feuded a few months ago. I can tell that you've really come around."
Ace extends his hand and Angus' big paw meets it for a handshake.
Angus: "Good luck tonight. If you ever need any more help, let me know. I'll give you help whenever."
Ace: "Thanks man. I appreciate it."
Angus nods and exits the room. As the camera focuses in on Ace's confident expression, the commentary team announces Ace's match for the night... against Tag Team champ Craig Bullet! Ace continues to unpack as the segment ends.

Rusty vs. Tommy Parker
The Cleveland crowd erupts for the entrance music of... Cruiserweight champ Rusty! The "2 Xtreme" superfan comes out confidently as he warms up for a non-title show-opening match. Next, the former 2-time Cruiserweight and Tag Team champ makes his entrance and gets a solid welcome from the fans! Tommy flexes and poses for the crowd as the former Olympian heads to the ring, hoping to score a win over the current champ. The grapplers get ready, the bell rings and this match begins!
Rusty comes out firing on all cylinders, catching Tommy off-guard. Rusty hits a slew of big moves early on, including a DDT, a hurricanrana and a running bulldog. Tommy rallies back after a drop toe hold counter and lands some moves of his own, including a standing moonsault and a belly-to-belly suplex. But Rusty's determination overwhelms his foe after countering a running move with another hurricanrana, putting him in control for good!
After nailing Tommy with a suplex, Rusty busts his foe's gut with his Rusty Bumper signature! Quickly, Rusty leaps onto the nearest turnbuckle... and lands his Rusty Wheel finisher! The Cruiserweight champ goes for the pin and gets the successful 1-2-3 count for the win!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show and witness the arrival of the G.L.O.W. team! The last few weeks have seen some strange developments between Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte and partner Quinn Cadbury. So strange that... they are supposed to face each other on Sunday with Joseph's title on the line! As they walk in, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary and both European men seem to be in high spirits.
Joseph and Quinn turn the corner towards the locker rooms but... they are met by Alpha, Omega and Master Kimoto! The Japanese trio cut off their path and appear to be waiting for them. Joseph and Quinn abruptly stop and take a moment to read the situation, but then walk up to them cautiously. Master Kimoto steps in front of his pupils and addresses the Europeans.
Master Kimoto: "Excuse me gentlemen. I don't mean to interrupt, but we would like to request a match. Would you like to face Alpha & Omega in a tag team match for the #1 contendership? We would appreciate the opportunity to compete with you."
At first, the G.L.O.W. team members are both surprised at the request. But then, each of them displays a different reaction. Joseph seems annoyed while Quinn appears interested. Joseph attempts to reply, but Quinn interrupts.
Joseph: "I'm sorry monsieur but..."
Quinn: "We accept! Great match idea. We will see you out there tonight!"
Alpha & Omega share a high-five while Master Kimoto excitedly shakes both Joseph and Quinn's hands. Quinn smiles proudly while Joseph is shocked and confused. He turns and stares perplexed at his tag partner.
Joseph: "Wha... what?!"
Quinn: "What's the problem?"
Joseph: "Why did you agree to that match?"
Quinn: "Come on, chap. It's a good idea. We can beat them. It will be a great tune-up match for us before Sunday."
Joseph is still a little confused as Quinn pats him on the back and walks towards the locker room. Joseph glances around in thought for a moment before following. The segment comes to an end.

ECW Championship (Extreme Rules Match):
Hitman Jack {C} vs. Zach Wesley
The lone title match of the night will put the ECW Title on the line as Hitman Jack will defend his belt against the "Mohawked Maniac"! The "Lethal Canadian" has looked strong since he won the title back in July, and has so far had a strong partnership with H.E.R.O. But a few weeks ago, Zach Wesley defeated H.E.R.O. in the Beat-the-Clock Challenge and attacked him with a chair after the match. The attack prompted Hitman to try and save his partner, but Wesley escaped before the champ could get revenge. Hitman voiced his anger the next week, and Zach confronted him to reveal the reasoning behind his attack: he felt disrespected from Hitman's previous comments! When Hitman won the title, he commented that he wanted to "bring back prestige" to the ECW Title, which according to Wesley implied that his previous 6-month reign as champ devalued the belt. Zach wanted a match to prove his worth, but H.E.R.O. returned last week and attacked the "Maniac" mid-match to cause a DQ loss for his partner and leave their issues unresolved. So in response, an ECW Title match was made to settle the score, and H.E.R.O. was barred from ringside!
Wesley's theme song hit first and the Cleveland crowd did not welcome him warmly, but the "Maniac" snarled angrily and seemed unaffected by their hate. Next, the fans cheered loudly for the ECW champ as he strolled to the ring confidently. Hitman glared at his challenger as he entered the ring, while Zach eyed him with a creepy smirk on his face. With Extreme Rules stipulations, this could be a nasty brawl! The bell rings and the match gets underway.
The rivals traded punches right away, but it was clear that Hitman was focused and determined more than normal. After gaining control of his bigger opponent, Hitman started a consistent strategy of attacking his foe. Suplexes, dropkicks, a sleeper hold and other moves dazed Zach quickly as Hitman worked fast. With the "Maniac" hurting, Hitman decided to bring in the foreign objects!
A crazy, back-and-forth battle ensued as both men found creative ways to damage each other with chairs, kendo sticks and the ringside steel steps! But despite Zach's brief rally, Hitman continued to maintain enough momentum. After Zach swung and missed with a kendo stick, Hitman grabbed him and quickly planted him with his signature Jack Flash! The crowd started to get fired up as Hitman prepped to give his foe a finishing move. When the "Maniac" staggered to his feet, Jack quickly controlled him... and smashed him into the mat with his twisting Lethal Hit! Hitman pulls his foe into the center of the ring and goes for the cover, getting the successful 3-count to win the match and retain his title!
Hitman celebrates with his belt as the crowd gives him a huge cheer, and the "Lethal Canadian" tries to show sportsmanship by offering a handshake to his beaten opponent. But Zach knocked his hand away and exited the ring frustrated, and Hitman was disappointed. Jack continued to celebrate mildly as the crowd supported him!
WINNER (and still ECW Champion): Hitman Jack
Wesley's theme song hit first and the Cleveland crowd did not welcome him warmly, but the "Maniac" snarled angrily and seemed unaffected by their hate. Next, the fans cheered loudly for the ECW champ as he strolled to the ring confidently. Hitman glared at his challenger as he entered the ring, while Zach eyed him with a creepy smirk on his face. With Extreme Rules stipulations, this could be a nasty brawl! The bell rings and the match gets underway.

Backstage Segment
The show resumes after a brief commercial break and we see Ace warming up in the locker room only a few minutes before his scheduled match against Craig Bullet. But as Ace stretches and loosens up, two intruders enter the room. The "Ultimate Superstar" hears someone approaching and turns... and immediately goes into defense mode! Ace raises his fists to protect himself and the camera pans back to reveal... World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner and Mr. Black! The creepy duo steps towards Ace, and it looks like Ace is ready for a possible brawl. But Mr. Black raises a hand to indicate that they didn't come to fight, and Ace relaxes slightly while still remaining very cautious. Mr. Black speaks to him.
Mr. Black: "Ahh... hello Ace. We just wanted to visit with you... and inquire one last time if you are willing to back down from your World Title pursuit."
Ace is confused for a moment, but then shakes his head and angrily replies.
Ace: "No way, man. You guys run around here thinking you're untouchable. And all it takes is a little intimidation to get what you want. Well, I am NOT going to back down. And this is the LAST time I'm going to tell you! In fact, if you want to see how ready I really am to take Eric's title... then why don't you come down and watch my match? I guarantee you'll think twice about agreeing to the match in the first place!"
Mr. Black chuckles sarcastically for a moment before a very dark, serious expression comes over his face. He takes a single step towards Ace and responds.
Mr. Black: "Fine. Have it your way, Ace. If this is the fate you want, then this is the fate you'll get. On behalf of Eric, we agree to a World Heavyweight Title match this Sunday at the Judgment Day PPV. In front of millions of fans and viewers and your own family, you will be embarrassed. Do you recall the fate that Rebel Ford suffered last month? Just consider yourself another VICTIM."
Mr. Black and Eric turn to leave, and Ace glares at them. Just before they exit, Mr. Black turns back for one more comment.
Mr. Black: "Oh and by the way... good luck tonight. And I mean that in the most SERIOUS way! Ha ha..."
The sarcasm is thick and it angers Ace even more. After they leave, the camera rotates to focus in on Ace's intense fury as the segment ends.

Ace vs. Craig Bullet
The crowd fires up for Ace's entrance, and the "Ultimate Superstar" rocks a confident expression as he heads to the ring for his final match before challenging Eric Executioner for the World Heavyweight Title. Next, Craig Bullet's theme hits and the crowd heartily boos the reigning Tag Team champ. The "High-Flyin' Criminal" doesn't seem fazed by the unwelcome response, and scowls at his opponent after performing his signature backflip off the turnbuckle. The two grapplers gets ready for their match, but suddenly... Eric's music plays! Both men pause to look at the stage, where the World champ himself and his sinister overlord walk down to ringside and grab front-row seats. Mr. Black creepily smiles and sarcastically claps in Ace's direction, which angers the "Ultimate Superstar" even more. The bell finally rings, and the match begins!
Ace's natural power makes for an interesting matchup with Craig's high-flying quickness, as the first portion of the match tells us. Ace manages to land a swinging cutter, a spinebuster and a nice suplex, while Craig counters with a standing moonsault, a double-arm chop and a hurricanrana! Craig takes control and tosses Ace into the ropes, knocking him down to the floor with a flying dropkick. With Ace writhing on the floor in pain, Craig takes a risk... and nails a springboard leg drop!
After the initial big move, Craig can't seem to keep his momentum going. Ace rallies back outside the ring, slamming Craig's head off the announce table and delivering another nasty spinebuster! The referee counts up to 8, but Ace rolls his foe back in. Before climbing in himself, Ace gives Eric and Mr. Black a taunting gesture and confident smile, which enrages Eric! Mr. Black holds his client back as they continue to watch.
In the ring, Ace continues his beatdown on Craig but someone else makes an appearance... Tony Bullet! The other half of the Tag Team champs jogs down to ringside and jumps onto the apron, trying to distract the referee and disrupt Ace's momentum. But the "Ultimate Superstar" is ready, and takes a moment to drive Tony off the apron with a gut-busting shoulder block! Tony flails off the apron and crashes into the barricade as the crowd cheers!
With the distraction gone, Ace returns his focus to his opponent. Ace reverses a hurricanrana attempt into a surprise powerbomb, which dazes Craig majorly! Ace follows up with his Falling Star signature, and then backs into the corner and prepares for a final move. When Craig staggers to his feet, Ace sprints and blasts him with a Pocket Rocket spear! The "Ultimate Superstar" goes for the cover and the referee counts the pinfall to give him a huge win!
Ace celebrates as the Cleveland crowd gives him a round of cheers, and gazes over at his watching rivals in the front row. Ace gestures towards them, indicating that what happened in the ring will happen to Eric on Sunday! The World champ grits his teeth in anger as he glares at Ace, but the victorious superstar smirks confidently back!

Backstage Segment
Moments before the main event, we switch backstage and catch a conversation among the American Cool trio! Antonio Jordan, Krizz Torture and Audrey Vega are chatting as they lounge in a TV room, watching the show on their off night. Antonio seems a little perturbed as he speaks.
Antonio: "Man... I can't believe this whole Intercontinental Title situation. I got completely screwed out of a fair rematch, and now these two European phonies get to face each other over the belt?! Come on, man!"
Audrey: "There's got to be more there that we're not seeing yet. I can't be as simple as wanting to keep the title between them. That sounds ridiculous!"
Antonio: "True, but totally plausible for those idiots. Why wouldn't they just face off repeatedly? Clearly SOMEONE in power is just letting it happen."
Audrey: "Well... what are you going to do?"
Antonio: "I guess... nothing. I mean, besides trying to work my way into this messed-up title picture... which clearly I can't seem to get a fair shake... I think it's just time to move on."
Audrey: "Move on?"
Antonio: "Yeah, move on. Move on to a new challenge. Work my way up the ranks."
Audrey: "That's a good idea. You're already pretty highly ranked. I mean... if you were to move on and move up, there's really only 1 way to go."
Antonio: "One way? One way..."
Audrey: "I think you know what way I'm talking about. You want to rock some gold? Then go get what you deserve."
Antonio cracks a smile as thoughts roll through his head.
Antonio: "You're right Audrey. It's about time I get what I deserve. That's a great idea."
Audrey plants a kiss on his cheek. Antonio excitedly claps and rubs his hands together as the segment ends.

Tag Team #1 Contender Match:
Alpha & Omega (w/ Master Kimoto) vs.
G.L.O.W. (Joseph T. Lutte & Quinn Cadbury)
The night's final contest has the crowd excited, as the Japanese duo gets their first chance to become #1 contenders against the European partners! Of course, there is tension in the arena as the strange situation regarding Joseph and Quinn's Intercontinental Title match on Sunday looms over this match. The hard-rocking theme of Alpha & Omega hits and Master Kimoto's well-trained students come out with the legendary mentor by their side, and they seem very focused on this upcoming bout as they head to the ring. Next, Joseph's AC/DC song sounds and the G.L.O.W. members come out together, showing no signs of distress as they taunt the crowd during their entrance. Prior to the match, Joseph & Quinn share a confident high-five and the strange tension in the arena seems to dissipate. The bell rings and this main event tag match kicks off!
Joseph is shocked by the quickness and teamwork of the Japanese duo, as they ravage the "Fantastic Frenchman" with a flurry of luchador moves! Alpha hurts Joseph with a huge series of moves first, and then teams up with Omega to nail Joseph with their Rising Sun double-team signature! Omega continues the momentum for a bit, but finally Joseph counters back and gets a tag to his partner.
Quinn enters aggressively and knocks Omega around with some hard punches and a piledriver. Omega slides over to his corner to tag in Alpha, who immediately nails Quinn with a spinning shoulder block. But despite the initial takedown, Quinn holds his own with a series of maneuvers. Comfortable with their advantage and with Joseph seemingly recovered, Quinn steps to his corner and tags his partner back in.
But after Joseph steps through the ropes, a very strange expression comes over Quinn's face. Before Joseph can go after their opponents, Quinn grabs Joseph by the arm... and punches him right in the face! The crowd gasps as Quinn unleashes a furious attack on his own partner, punching and stomping him repeatedly as the Japanese trio watch in confusion. Finally, Quinn relents and steps out of the ring... and stands near the barricade with his arms crossed! Quinn is refusing to compete in the remainder of the match!
Alpha and Omega confer with their teacher for a moment, but it appears that Master Kimoto encourages them to complete the match. Alpha approaches a wounded Joseph, and sort of assists him to his feet. Joseph staggers around and Alpha starts hitting him with his Tatsumaki finishing combo! After nailing the hurricanrana pin combo, Omega races across the ring to ensure that Quinn is not going to stop the pinfall. Quinn shakes his head and Alpha scores the easy pinfall on Joseph! The crowd is in shock yet happy as Alpha & Omega just became the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles!
Master Kimoto enters the ring to celebrate with his prized pupils, and all 3 of them seem to be just in as much shock over the match events as the fans are! The Japanese trio exits happily with the crowd supporting them!

Post-Match Segment
After Alpha, Omega and Master Kimoto leave, the camera's attention immediately focuses on Quinn Cadbury. The "English Gentlemen" has a very odd, sinister look on his face as he watches Joseph squirm on the mat in pain. Quinn grabs a microphone and enters the ring slowly. He approaches his supposed friend... and gives him a vicious stomp to the face! Joseph moans and grabs his face, but the kick keeps him down as Quinn addresses him.
Quinn: "I can't believe you fell for it, old chap. I've been planning this for months, and you didn't even see it coming. I don't know if it makes the success of the plan that much sweeter... or if you're just not as intelligent as I thought you were."
Joseph slowly starts to come to his senses and he just scowls at Quinn as his former ally reveals his plan.
Quinn: "When I beat you to win the European Wrestling League medal, it was the greatest moment of my career up until that point. But weeks after my victory, you bolt to America and sign with the WWE here. I was the EWL's top man, yet YOU were the one that got the initial contract?! It filled my heart with more rage than ever before. I was there when the EWL collapsed. I saw it all the way to the end. It wasn't until then that I got a contract from the WWE. And I signed it knowing I would get a chance to get revenge on you... on a worldwide stage. I purchased the EWL gold medal and I brought it with me. I wear it to the ring for 2 reasons. One, because I'm very proud of my accomplishment... and two, to remind you of what happened! Yet somehow you've ignored it this whole time! The medal you've held longer than anyone, yet I'm the one who holds it permanently. How blinded have you become? When I was about to make my debut, I watched you very carefully. And I knew that... that GIRL... was going to betray you. And I knew no one would be on your side. So I used that moment as my way in. I wanted to trick you into believing that I was no longer a rival, but I was an ally. I wanted to get close to you. I wanted to learn everything you had learned since you've arrived here in WWE. I wanted to re-learn your style, your moves, your mannerisms, your strategies. I wanted to get close to winning championships. And sure enough, less than a month after my debut, you helped me become a Tag Team Champion! You see... I've known for a long time that I could defeat you soundly at any time. But I didn't only want to defeat you... I wanted to HUMILIATE you. And so, I stood by your side as you challenged for your beloved Intercontinental Title. At Summerslam, I made a personal sacrifice to help you win it back! And at Hell in a Cell, I again gave you a major assist to help you retain the title. And I continually requested a title match, because I didn't want to do this to you. I figured that you would understand that I would love a title match, and we could dominate the division together. But of course... you disrespected me and refused to recognize everything I did to help you. So, I decided to screw you over in the biggest way possible. I rigged the Beat-the-Clock Challenge. I accepted tonight's match because I knew you would look like a bloody FOOL in front of millions of people. And on Sunday... I'm going to take that Intercontinental Title from you. And Joseph... old chap... I'm NEVER giving it back!"
Quinn lets the microphone fall slowly out of his hands, and it bounces on the mat very close to Joseph's face. The "Fantastic Frenchman" is in complete shock over Quinn's comments, and can't even bring himself to respond. Quinn chuckles to himself and exits the ring proudly. The crowd responds with a mix of stunned silence and angry boos, but Quinn seems to enjoy it. The show comes to an end with a shot of Joseph's befuddled expression, with Quinn strutting away in the background!
