Year 3
Week 1
Less than a week removed from the great TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV, the blue brand's Road to WrestleMania kicks off with another LIVE episode of Friday Night Smackdown in Charlotte, NC!!!
Video Segment
Similar to the opening of Monday Night Raw earlier in the week, a video montage of clips from last Sunday's PPV is shown to open Smackdown. Highlights from the Ladder match between Angus and Joseph T. Lutte are shown first, with the "Irish Giant" nabbing his Money in the Bank briefcase just seconds before the "Fantastic Frenchman" could stop him. Next, Eve's victory in the Women's Title Triple Threat match earns allowed her to recapture the belt only a few weeks after her surprising return. And finally, the great moments of the 4-way TLC match for the World Heavyweight Title are displayed. The numerous broken tables, busted ladders, close calls and bloody battles remind the crowd of the incredible match, but the final image of Eric Executioner holding his title after retaining again makes the fans groan as the video comes to a close!
GM Office Segment
The cameras transition to the GM office backstage, where interim GM Triple H is sitting at the large wooden desk. "The Game" is on the phone as the camera zooms in, catching the last bit of his conversation.
Triple H: "... Yeah, yeah he won... No, I can't believe it either... I mean, it was a Fatal 4-Way! Any of them could've won... It was a great match, but I'm still confused how he outlasted them all... He's like a hypnotized beast or something... Yeah, it seems like it... No, I'm not sure what I'm going to do next..."
The person on the other end is unknown, but it's clear that he's talking about Eric Executioner's victory in the World Heavyweight Title match this past Sunday. The "Narcissist" outlasted his 3 fiercest rivals in one big match, making it his most impressive title defense yet. Triple H continues.
Triple H: "... Well, they've got something planned for tonight... I don't know, some kind of celebration... What do you expect me to say? He is the World champ, he's got the right to celebrate... He could say anything, I'll be watching... If anything goes awry, I'll put an end to it quickly... Guess we'll have to wait and see... Yeah, I gotta go too... Goodbye."
Hunter hangs up the phone and picks up a document to peruse. After a moment, Triple H looks up and gazes around the room, seemingly in thought. The interim GM shakes his head and chuckles before returning to his paperwork as the segment ends!

Zach Wesley vs. Rusty
The first match of the night will pit the "Mohawked Maniac" against the Cruiserweight Champion! Zach and Rusty do have a history, going back to the past December when they feuded over the ECW Title, and the "2 Xtreme" superfan pulled a huge upset at the Tribute to the Troops show. Tonight, they face off in a normal matchup to open the match card. Wesley's hard-rocking Slipknot theme plays and the "Maniac" receives a large swath of boos from the crowd as he heads to the ring. Next, the crowd cheers loudly for Rusty, and the resilient champ looks ready for battle. The former rivals enter the ring, and the bell rings!
Despite having a past win over Zach and reigning as Cruiserweight champ, Rusty appears to be no match for a very determined and methodical "Maniac". Wesley dominates the match right from the start, save for a few desperate blows delivered by his smaller foe. Big power moves damage Rusty, weakening him quickly. The crowd is surprised by Zach's complete domination.
The action spills ringside for a bit, but Wesley just uses the environment to his advantage. With a dazed Rusty stumbling near the announce table, Zach locks him up in a hold... and slams him on top of the table with a vicious fallaway slam! The Cruiserweight champ's body makes a sickening sound as he smacks off the top of the table, and he collapses into the commentator's seats behind. With the referee counting from the ring, Zach drags his foe back and tosses him into the ring.
Back in the ring, Zach gets fired up as he waits for Rusty to rise off the mat. When the "2 Xtreme" superfan does, Wesley quickly lifts up... and slams his head into the mat with his signature Psycho Driver! The impact dazes Rusty for good, and the "Maniac" follows up with his Maniac Mutator finisher! Snarling and glaring into the crowd, Zach goes for a pin and gets the 1-2-3 easily to win the match!
The crowd boos him again, although much quieter than before. Zach raises his arms slowly in pride, while the match official attends to a clearly-damaged Rusty!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, the show returns to see the American Cool trio hanging out backstage. Antonio Jordan, Krizz Torture and Audrey Vega all seem to be a little down in the dumps, likely due to their recent struggles. Antonio fell just short of winning the World Heavyweight Title on Sunday, while Audrey took the losing pinfall in the Women's Title match during the same event. Days before the PPV, Krizz lost a match against Joseph T. Lutte after interfering the week before in the French grappler's Falls Count Anywhere match against Angus. The three pals don't seem to be talking, but kind of having a "misery loves company" moment.
A minute later, two others walk past... Craig & Tony Bullet! The foster brothers stroll past, only glancing at the three for a second... but then they stop and look at each other. A sinister smile comes over both their faces, and they turn back to address the depressed trio.
Tony: "Pobrecitos... they look so sad!"
Craig: "Well if I failed as much as they've failed recently... I'd feel pretty bad too!"
The criminal duo share an arrogant laugh, but Antonio scowls and responds.
Antonio: "Not in the mood, you idiots. Get the hell outta here."
Craig: "Aww... poor Antonio. Couldn't get the job done on Sunday, eh? Big gold belt still with Eric, huh? Must've felt bad to be so close... and then get shoved off the ladder right at the last second. Damn..."
Antonio: "At least I HAD an opportunity at the World Title. The closest you'll ever get to that is if Eric asks you to clean it."
Tony: "Nice one, Antonio! Say... at least we've held a title recently, hombre! What have YOU done recently?"
Krizz: "Yo, why don't you guys buzz off? Before something bad happens."
Craig: "Like what, tough guy? Before you get your ass kicked again, like last week against Joseph? You had the balls to attack him in the middle of a match, but couldn't even take him down when you had him one-on-one."
Krizz: "You shut your damn mouth, Craig."
Craig: "Or... or what?"
Krizz and Craig get right in each other's faces, and it seems like blows are going to start soon! But before they can, Audrey steps in to try and cool the tension.
Audrey: "Yo, yo! Both of you, break it up! This is not the place for this. You got beef? Settle it in the ring, not here."
Craig: "You know what, Audrey? That's a great idea! Tony and I have been looking for a new challenge. Let's settle things in the ring."
Krizz: "You're on, punk. I'm gonna punch the arrogance right out of your throat."
Craig: "I'd like to see you try! We'll see you boys in the ring tonight. And Antonio... feel free to bring your girl along to watch. Since I know she's upset from losing on Sunday, I'd like to show her what a REAL winner looks like."
Audrey goes to slap him, but Antonio grabs her wrist right at the last second! Craig & Tony laugh and leave the area. The camera rotates to focus on the now angry faces of all 3 American Cool member as the segment ends!

Tommy Parker & Joey Cooper vs. Rebel Ford & Ace
The next match of the night is a tag team match between the former Olympians and the unlikely allies who just days before were battling against each other for the World Heavyweight Title! Parker & Coop have been struggling for months, failing to rise back up the tag team ranks. Although Ace & Rebel teaming up seems unlikely, they have been cordial for a while. Ace saved Rebel from an attack in October while he was injured, and they teamed up to beat Eric Executioner and Zach Wesley a few weeks ago on Smackdown. Could these two superstars be forming a new and dangerous duo?
The Olympic duo enter first, sprinting to the ring and sliding in simultaneously like normal to delight the fans. Next, Rebel and Ace enter separately and garner big cheers from the crowd on their way down. Before the match, Parker & Coop share a big high-five and seem very pumped up for tonight's battle. Tommy and Rebel will start the match for their respective teams, and the bell rings to kick this tag match off!
Rebel dominates the early part of the match, surprising Parker with his aggressiveness. But soon after, Tommy starts a rally by landing 3 consecutive standing moonsaults and attempting a submission hold! Ace races into the ring and kicks Parker out of the hold, allowing Rebel time to recover. The "Revolutionary Brawler" plants his foe with his Roll With The Changes move, and then runs over to knock Joey off the apron! Rebel catches a woozy Tommy and delivers a Fisherman Suplex pinning combo. The referee counts 1... 2... but Joey dives in at the last second to save his partner!
Ace is itching to get into battle, and Rebel obliges him with a tag. The "Ultimate Superstar" delivers a sharp elbow drop to Tommy and follows up with a hard STO manuever. Ace tries to whip Parker into the corner, but the former Olympian reverses and sends his opponent instead. Tommy races over and delivers a running bulldog out of the corner, dazing Ace enough to get back to his own corner to tag in Joey! Coop runs into the match to try and keep their momentum, but Ace surprises him by hitting his Falling Star signature! Feeling the moment, Ace follows up with his Royal Flush finisher and attempts a pinfall! The referee counts 1... 2... AND JOEY PUTS A FOOT UP ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! How in the world did Coop manage enough energy to break the pin? Ace, his partner and the crowd are stunned that the Olympian survived that finishing move!
Joey recovers and reverses a move to plant Ace down, and eyes the nearest turnbuckle. Cooper scales the top turnbuckle and gets ready to attempt a flying moonsault! Joey checks his balance quick, leaps and... Ace moves at the last second! Coop crashes onto the mat below, groaning in pain from the impact. Ace pounces quickly, tossing Joey into the corner. Together, he and Rebel perform a big double-team move to damage Cooper even more. Rebel follows up, landing his signature Guard Breaker! Next, he knees Joey in the face and lifts him onto his shoulders to attempt his finisher! Ace runs over and tackles Tommy out of the ring, eliminating any possible distractions. Rebel finishes his Poetic Justice finisher, and attempts to pin the weakened Olympian! With Ace occupying Tommy outside the ring, the referee completes the 3-count to give the superstar team the victory!

Backstage Segment
When the show returns from commercial, a video recapping a segment during the break is shown. World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner and his sinister manager Mr. Black are shown arriving for tonight's show. Rumor has it that the creepy duo is planning a celebration of some sort, honoring Eric's grueling victory at last Sunday's PPV. The win allowed Eric to retain his title for the 5th time in as many months, and after beating 3 of his toughest challengers in one match, who is left to put pressure on the "Narcissist"?
Eric and Mr. Black stroll arrogantly into the arena, but another person seems interested in joining them... new Women's champ Eve Torres! The camera pans back to reveal Eve awaiting her new allies, and Mr. Black beams proudly when he sees her. Mr. Black gives her a hug, which Eve welcomes happily. Eric offer his hand and she meets the gesture for a handshake. Mr. Black sighs proudly and addresses his clients.
Mr. Black: "Ahh... my two most favorite people. And doesn't it feel great to be champion?"
Eric and Eve nod in agreement. Eve smiles and chuckles, while a smirk creeps over the face of the usually expressionless World champ. Mr. Black continues.
Mr. Black: "I can't even begin to express how proud I am of both of you. I was a little concerned that my methods wouldn't work here in WWE, but obviously I'm no longer worried. You two have exceeded my expectations, and it can only get better from here!"
Eve: "Thank you so much. I couldn't believe how much support you've given me. I feel like a new person!"
Mr. Black: "As you should! I wouldn't let a client down. Look at Eric here! He's been a dominant force since he hired me. He's a perfect example for what you could be."
Eve: "I definitely see that know. Wow... I'm still in shock over winning back the title! I thought it would be a long road back."
Mr. Black: "You know, speaking of titles... Eric and I were going to have a little 'moment of honor' in the ring tonight, celebrating his greatest triumph yet. Since you also had an impressive victory last Sunday... why don't you join us tonight? We would obviously show you how important you are to us."
Eve ponders the offer for a moment, and responds.
Eve: "No, that's okay. I want you and Eric to have your moment. It's been a long trip for you two. I'm new to the group. I don't want to take away from Eric's time. I'm very happy though! We can definitely plan something later."
Mr. Black: "No problem! I will look into something special for you. Enjoy your night off, champ."
Mr. Black smiles brightly and Eve playfully pats him on the shoulder. She waves at Eric and the "Narcissist" quietly nods back. The Women's champ leaves and the sinister duo continues their walk into the arena. A title celebration for Eric tonight? I'm sure the angry crowd will not be receptive to that!

American Cool vs. Bullet Boyz
Another tag team matchup will kick off next, as two former Tag Team Champion duos will face off after a war of words earlier in the evening! The Bullet Boyz spotted a distraught American Cool trio and decided to mock them, which led to Krizz Torture and Antonio Jordan responding with threats of violence. Audrey Vega intervened before blows could start, and suggested settling their differences in the ring. A match was made, and here we are!
The American Cool trio entered first, with Audrey supporting her two male allies! Krizz & Antonio looked focused as they climbed into the ring, ready to take on the arrogant foster brothers. Next, the Bullet Boyz' theme hits and the crowd boos them unmercifully, sending a message that they don't approve! Craig & Tony appear confident as they stroll down the ramp, eyeing their opponents closely. Antonio and Tony prepare to start the match for their respective sides, and the bell rings to open it up!
Antonio and Tony battle closely to start things off, trading blows and moves to set the tone. Antonio nails him with a few suplexes, while Tony delivers a butterfly suplex and a hurricanrana. The men manage to tag out to their partners, and Krizz and Craig have a back-and-forth battle themselves! A KT Slam from Krizz dazes the "High-Flyin' Criminal", but Craig's flurry of enziguri kicks catches Krizz off-guard. This heated match may have been made out of nowhere, but both teams are leaving it all on the line for a win!
Krizz tags Antonio back in, and the "Mastermind" turns the tide for his team. Jordan starts to dominate Craig, hitting him with a few belly-to-belly suplexes and a European uppercut off the 2nd turnbuckle. Krizz begs for a tag, and Antonio obliges him while Craig lays against their corner. Together, the American Cool duo perform a slick double-team move, which clearly knocks the "Criminal" silly!
Krizz fires up and uses the momentum, damaging Craig with his Cool Drop signature leg drop! Antonio races across the ring and clothesline Tony down to the ringside floor, and then follows him to keep him at bay. With Tony brawling with Antonio, Krizz sets up for his finisher! When Craig staggers to his feet, Krizz delivers his Torture Rack powerbomb! Krizz goes for the cover, and the referee counts the 1-2-3 to give him the win!

Backstage Segments
Smackdown returns from its final commercial break and two short segments are shown. First, the cameras pick up Ace packed up and leaving the arena. He and Rebel Ford were successful in a tag match against Parker & Coop tonight, and the "Ultimate Superstar" is heading home for some rest and relaxation. But before he can go, he bumps into someone... Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury! Ace turns the corner and slightly makes contact with the "English Gentleman", who was having a conversation with a backstage crew member. Quinn turns and addresses Ace.
Quinn: "Excuse me, but can you watch where you are walking?"
Ace: "Take a chill pill, dude. It was an accident."
Quinn: "Nothing is an accident with you, I've learned. Was it an accident that you failed to win the World Title on Sunday?"
Ace: "Hey... you shut your mouth! I busted my ass in that match, and I couldn't get the job done. At least I got an opportunity. You only won your title by screwing over your friend."
Quinn: "Oh... he wasn't my friend. Just a tool, a speed bump. I did what I needed to do!"
Ace: "Yeah well I'm a more honorable man than that. You're just a farce with a bad 70's haircut and a mustache from the 1880's. You're lost in time, pal. Isn't it time for crumpets and tea?"
Quinn: "Don't you insult the traditions of my home! What are your Florida traditions? Hurricanes and illegal immigrants?"
Ace: "Dude, you're about 5 seconds from me dropping my bags and making you pay for that smart-ass mouth of yours."
Quinn: "Ahh... a typical American tradition. Brawling in the backstage area. Can't settle your issues like gentlemen in the ring. Shame, shame."
Ace: "Fine. You want a match? I'll give you a match. Since I've already claimed victory tonight, I'll give you some time to prepare for an ass-whipping. Next week, me and you... in that ring. Then we'll see who the real 'gentleman' really is."
Quinn: "Love to! I think that's a fine offer. I'm gonna need a tune-up match for my next title defense!"
Quinn laughs heartily, but Ace gets in his face and glares at him. Quinn stops laughing immediately and meets his foe's gaze. Ace then pushes past him and walks off. The Intercontinental champ looks down and rubs his title belt that's around his waist as this segment ends and transitions to the next one.
The camera switches over to the locker room area, where ECW champ Hitman Jack and his partner H.E.R.O. are chatting. The H-Squared duo is off the match card tonight, but were obviously paying close attention to the battles that took place earlier. The camera picks up their conversation midway.
H.E.R.O.: "Hey man, we gotta make our move before it's too late. You saw what happened tonight!"
Hitman: "For sure. Suddenly there's a lot of action in the tag team division."
H.E.R.O.: "Yes! And that should be us making noise out there! We gotta get back in the Tag Team Title race!"
Hitman: "I agree. We're just as good, if not better, than any other team out there. I watched those tag matches tonight very closely. We can learn from those and find weaknesses to use to our advantage."
H.E.R.O.: "Whatever it takes! Preparations, hard work... someone has to rise up and challenge for those belts! And that team... should be us!"
The duo share a confident fist bump as the segment ends!
Quinn: "Excuse me, but can you watch where you are walking?"
Ace: "Take a chill pill, dude. It was an accident."

In-Ring Segment
The cameras return to the ring, and the ringside crew is putting the finishing touches on a very simplistic setup for Eric Executioner's celebration. A large framed picture of Eric holding the title is on a tripod, while a generic banner reading "CONGRATULATIONS" in plain font hangs between two turnbuckles. A moment later, Eric's music hits and the crowd welcomes the World Heavyweight champ and his manager with a vicious round of boos! Eric strolls out of the curtain with Mr. Black alongside, and he smiles proudly as he notices the very basic decorations. The "Narcissist" climbs into the ring and looks closely at the framed picture, chuckling as Mr. Black applauds happily. As Eric stands confidently in the ring, Mr. Black accepts a microphone and addresses the crowd.
Mr. Black: "Hello all, and welcome to Eric Executioner's exclusive World Heavyweight Title celebration! My dominant client has done everything I've asked, and he's been rewarded by reigning as YOUR champion for several months. And this past Sunday, Eric pulled off a feat many of you deem impossible. He outlasted 3 of Smackdown's best competitors in a Fatal 4-Way... Tables, Ladders & Chairs match... to retain his World Title. Eric remains your champion, and will remain your champion for an extended period of time!"
The crowd jeers again, but the sinister duo ignore their response and share a quick embrace. Eric pats his manager on the back, and holds up his title to taunt the angry fans. Mr. Black nods in approval and addresses the fans again.
Mr. Black: "And honestly, after last Sunday's win... I don't see how anybody else can truly challenge Eric. He just beat the 3 best members of this roster! What is honestly next for him?! Does he have to get traded to Raw and capture the WWE Title too? Does he have to win the Tag Team Titles by himself? He's an iconic, unstoppable, monstrous human being with his mind only trained to destroy all who dare take what's rightfully his. Who would dare challenge that? I mean, honestly... there's not one person on the Smackdown roster that could truly give Eric even the slightest doubt that he might falter. There's nobody left! There's no one that could even remotely come close to ending Eric's reign..."
Suddenly... a familiar guitar riff plays, a big pyrotechnic blasts and... ANGUS' MUSIC HITS!!! The crowd goes insane as the "Irish Giant" appears to be heading out here! The holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase! The unbeaten brawler from Ireland! The cheers are deafening for him, but the reaction in the ring has to be the most surprising. When the song played, Mr. Black and Eric both turned their heads slowly to look at the stage, as they realize that they may have forgotten one possible challenger... and he's coming out right now! Finally, Angus pushes through the curtain and the crowd cheers louder when they see... the Money in the Bank briefcase in his hand! The "Irish Giant" holds it up for all to see, and he makes his way down to the ring at a quick pace!
Angus climbs in, and Mr. Black's jaw is on the floor. Angus towers over the large World champ, who is scowling at him with a confused & worried expression on his face. Angus looks down at the briefcase for a few anxious moments, pondering whether this was the right time to cash in the coveted contract. Right here, on Smackdown, ruining Eric's title celebration??? Mr. Black starts to shake his head in Angus' direction, seemingly trying to telepathically convince him to not do it. Angus looks up at his foes across the ring, and then glances around the buzzing arena, listening to the fans voice their support for him. What is he going to do???
Finally... Angus motions for a referee!!! An official sprints down to the ring, and starts clearing the decorations from the ring! Eric and Mr. Black watch in shock as the referee plans for a possible match. The official approaches the "Irish Giant", offering to take the briefcase from him to make it official. Angus takes one last look at it... and hands it over!!! The referee talks to the ringside announcer, who announces that... ANGUS IS OFFICIALLY CASHING IN HIS MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE FOR A WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!!!

World Heavyweight Championship:
Eric Executioner {c} (w/ Mr. Black) vs. Angus
The scene is chaotic, but this impromptu World Heavyweight Title match is about to get underway! Angus holds up his fists and motions to a shocked Eric that he's ready for a fight. The referee approaches the "Narcissist" and asks for his title belt, and Eric slowly hands it over. Mr. Black is absolutely speechless, and exits the ring in a near-catatonic state as the match proceedings begin. The referee makes sure that both men are ready, and calls for the bell to start this title bout!
A few anxious moments pass without any action, as Angus and Eric just glare at each other with raised fists. Who is going to make the first move? Finally, Eric runs over to attack... but the "Irish Giant" responds with very heavy punches! The unbeaten challenger dominates the first part of the match, landing big blows and a few impressive power moves. Angus is literally the largest man Eric has ever had to face, and he shows off his impressive strength against the muscular World champ. Fired up, Angus lifts Eric up and locks him in his Irish Squeeze signature submission! Eric groans and gasps for air, while Angus sways back and forth to apply more pain.
But suddenly, Eric wriggles loose... and reverses the hold with a sharp DDT! The counter dazes Angus, and the World champ takes advantage. The "Narcissist" tosses his opponent into the corner and delivers a running big boot, making Angus whiplash a bit. Eric then follows up with a few power moves, showing his ability to lift the near-500-lb. "Giant" off the mat! But as Eric attempts a move, Angus reverses... and lifts Eric up into an overhead press! Angus pumps the champ up and down a few times, before sending him high into the air for his Cliffhanger finisher! Eric crashes back down to the mat with a huge fall, and Angus quickly tries for the pin! The referee counts 1... 2... AND ERIC GETS A SHOULDER UP! The World champ just kicked out of the damaging finisher of the "Irish Giant"!
The action spills outside for a bit, and the match starts to get dangerous for both men. Angus tosses Eric hard into the steel steps, and then locks Eric again in another Irish Squeeze! The World champ struggles to breathe again, but somehow manages to elbow his way out. Desperate to change the progression of the match, Eric whips Angus with all his strength and the "Irish Giant" smashes into the barricade! Both men take a bit to recover before they crawl back into the ring.
When they both rise to their feet, Angus takes control again and delivers yet another Cliffhanger finisher! Angus makes another pinfall attempt, and the ref counts 1... 2... AND ERIC PLACES A FOOT ON THE ROPE! The official notices at the last second, and demands that Angus stop the pinfall try! The "Irish Giant" smacks the mat in frustration, recognizing that cashing in his briefcase was not going to be the easy win he expected.
The battle continues, and finally Mr. Black snaps out of his trance. The sinister manager starts barking orders at his client, which also seems to wake the weakened champ up. Eric uses his narrow kickout to rally back, hurting his challenger with vicious shots and desperate power moves. Mr. Black seems pleased and voices his support. But Eric underestimates his determined challenger, and a reversed move changes things again. Eric lifts the "Giant" up to attempt a backbreaker move, but Angus leverages his way into control... and delivers another Cliffhanger! The "Narcissist" crashes down to the mat again, flopping onto his side. Angus crawls over after taking a moment to recover and tries another pin. The referee counts 1... 2... AND ERIC KICKS OUT AGAIN!!! How in the world is Eric staying alive??? Mr. Black exhales loudly, seemingly aware of how close his client came to losing.
Eric is woozy but determined to end this match in his favor. The World champ knocks Angus down again, and eyes the nearest turnbuckle. Being athletic despite his larger size, Eric climbs up and readies himself for a flying move. Angus staggers around in a mental fog, while Eric waits for him to turn. Suddenly... Eric leaps off the turnbuckle! The World champ attempts a double-axe handle to his opponent's skull... but Angus swings his large fist and catches Eric on the chin with a neck-snapping uppercut!!! The punch knocks Eric out, as he collapses to the mat. Angus falls on top of the champ, and the referee counts the pinfall! The official smacks the mat for a count of 1... 2... 3!!! Angus just upset Eric Executioner tonight, finally and successfully cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase, and has become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion!
The crowd responds with huge cheers, and the shocked looks on their faces tell a story worth a thousand words! The most dominant champ Smackdown's seen in a while just fell to an unbeaten "Giant"!!! Angus accepts the title belt from the referee, and stares at it in disbelief. Finally, the "Irish Giant" raises it up over his head and the crowd replies with a deafening chorus of approval! The shocking image of new champ Angus closes the show!!!

Week 2
Just one week removed from a shocking Money in the Bank cash-in, another LIVE episode of Friday Night Smackdown opens in Omaha, NE!!!
In-Ring Segment
The crowd is buzzing for the start of the show, but they erupt into huge cheers for the entrance of... NEW World Heavyweight champ Angus!!! The "Irish Giant" shocked everyone by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract last week on Smackdown, beating Eric Executioner to ruin his simplistic title celebration and win his first title in WWE. The "Narcissist" was very resilient in the moment though, making Angus' cash-in not an easy victory. Angus strolls down to the ring with the roaring fans behind him, title draped over his shoulder. He raises it up in the ring proudly, and the crowd whoops it up at the sign of the big gold belt. Angus accepts a microphone from the ringside crew, and prepares to address the Omaha viewers.
Angus: "I... uh... am not one to do this, but it felt necessary to come out here tonight. Because, aye... as you know... I'm now the NEW World Heavyweight Champion!"
The crowd cheers again and the normally-calm Angus smiles brightly. The "Irish Giant" does look a little uncomfortable in the ring, speaking in front of all these adoring fans, but he handles himself fine and continues to speak.
Angus: "First off... I'd like to thank all of you for your support and the support of everybody watching tonight. I may be a quiet fella, but I am an appreciative fella. I was disgusted watching those two bad apples show off, and I felt that it was the right time to make use of the briefcase. I couldn't stand by idly and hear them claim that there was no one to threaten his title reign. I looked down at my briefcase and I said to myself... there's no better time than now! I was nervous a bit, but I felt confident in my abilities. And luckily... I was able to come out on top! I'm your new champion, fella... and I don't plan on losing it for a while!"
The fans cheer again for the new champ, but suddenly... Eric Executioner's music hits! Eric and his manager Mr. Black walk out and down the ramp, glaring angrily at the "Irish Giant". Angus steps back and holds his title tightly on his shoulder, but meets their glare with a focused look of his own. At the bottom of the ramp, the sinister duo come to a stop and Mr. Black speaks directly to the new champ.
Mr. Black: "Mr. Angus... we were not appreciative of your actions last week. For an honorable man you claim to be, you went about using that briefcase in an sneaky way! How dare you interrupt our title celebration! Just for that, we are interrupting your comments to demand Eric's due rematch right now. And if you don't accept... then Eric's prepared to inflict violence anyway!"
Eric swings his arms back and forth, indicating that he's ready to battle right now. Angus glares at them intensely, and holds the title belt in one hand on his side, in case he has to drop it and brawl. The mood is tense for a few moments as it seems we are either going to have a title rematch... or a vicious fight!
But just before it seems like the brawl will encite... Triple H's music hits! The interim GM comes out quickly and interrupts.
Triple H: "Hold on just a little bit, gentlemen! This fight will NOT take place here tonight!"
Eric and Mr. Black groan and stare at "The Game", while Angus watches Triple H with a confused expression. Triple H ensures that the tension has settled a bit and explains why he's denying the altercation.
Triple H: "I'm sorry to disappoint you Eric, but tonight will not be your night to have a title rematch. Angus earned that briefcase fair and square, and he cashed it in honestly last week. He even challenged you when you were fresh and rested, unlike some of the past cash-ins we've had. Angus deserves a chance to reign as World Heavyweight champ. But... you are due a rematch. So therefore, I am going to grant your rematch... for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view! It's only appropriate for your rematch to be on one of the year's best events, and you'll have the same opportunities to re-capture the title."
The crowd cheers for the mention of a PPV-scheduled title match, which will be Angus' first title defense. Eric & Mr. Black are still angry but reluctantly seem to accept the decision. But the "Narcissist" locks eyes with the champ, as it seems like a brawl still might take place. Triple H notices the tension building again, and quickly interrupts.
Triple H: "Now Eric... I do have one simple stipulation to add to the title rematch clause. Since you are prone to using unwelcome or unwarranted attacks on your opponents, I think that will be something we need to prevent. So I'm going to issue a very stern warning... if you attack Angus outside of the confines of a sanctioned, officiated match... then your title rematch will be canceled and you will be immediately suspended for a month! As the interim GM, my job is to ensure the best product possible and I want our newest champion to be ready for his first title defense."
Eric and Mr. Black try to argue with Hunter, but he waves off their concerns. In the ring, Angus scoffs as well and tosses his title belt back over his shoulder. Triple H addresses the sinister duo one last time.
Triple H: "So Eric... if you are interested in fighting someone tonight, I can schedule a match for you against a worthy opponent. It will not be Angus, but I'm sure he will be watching very closely. Will you accept my offer for a standard match tonight?"
Eric seethes for a moment, before turning to get advice from his manager. Mr. Black sighs deeply but then indicates that he agrees with the decision. Eric nods towards Triple H to confirm. Triple H is pleased and makes one final comment.
Triple H: "Great to hear, Eric. Good luck tonight. Remember though... no attacks!"
The GM walks off to end the segment, with Eric, Mr. Black and Angus all looking on with confused, angry expressions!

H2 vs. Bullet Boyz
The first match of the night is a tag team battle featuring two of Smackdown's hungry duos! The Bullet Boyz were the most recent Tag Team champs before falling to Alpha & Omega at Survivor Series, but suffered a tough loss to American Cool last week. The H-Squared duo of ECW champ Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O. have been itching to rise back up the tag ranks since losing a title match to the former foster brothers back in September, so tonight's battle will be an interesting fight that could reignite an old feud!
H.E.R.O. and the "Lethal Canadian" each make separate entrances, earning high praise from the crowd. Next, Craig & Tony come out together and taunt the disapproving fans on their way to the ring. The "Cali Dragon" will start the match against the "High-Flyin' Criminal", with pride and possibly a leap in the tag team rankings on the line!
H.E.R.O. comes out firing on all cylinders to start, slamming Craig with a suplex, a spinebuster and following up with a signature flurry of stomps. Craig uses his high-flying capabilities to respond, nailing his foe with a jumping heel kick and a springboard body splash. The "Cali Dragon" regains control and sends Craig into his corner, where he tags in Hitman and they perform a double-team move! Jack follows up with a wild elbow drop, and whips Craig into the ropes for a running maneuver. Unfortunately, Craig is ready and reverses it into a hurricanrana pin! The referee counts 1... 2... and H.E.R.O. dives in to break it up.
Hitman responds with a painful neckbreaker and attempts a pinfall of his own, but Tony races in to break it up in time. Hitman tries for a suplex, but Craig again reverses with another hurricanrana variation! Both men tag out and H.E.R.O. battles closely with the "Sneaky Villain"! Each team's representative slams their foe down with a handful of power moves, as it seems like this battle will be neck-and-neck right to the finish.
Hitman & Craig reenter the match a few minutes later, but a fired-up ECW champ catches his opponent with his signature Jack Flash move! Jack goes right into a pin attempt in tandem with the move, but Tony again saves the match by breaking up the pin in time. Tony may have saved it this time, but H.E.R.O. ensures that he won't be able to do it again... because the "Cali Dragon" tackles Tony to the outside! With the "Villain" out, Hitman snaps Craig up... and delivers a nasty Lethal Hit finisher! The ECW champ goes for the cover, and H.E.R.O. prevents Tony from stopping the pin, and the H-Squared duo pick up a big tag team victory!
WINNERS: Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O.

The ECW champ goes for the cover, and H.E.R.O. prevents Tony from stopping the pin, and the H-Squared duo pick up a big tag team victory!
WINNERS: Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O.
Backstage Segment
After a quick commercial break, the show returns with interim GM Triple H looking through some documents in the backstage common area. A moment later, he is approached by someone... new World Heavyweight champ Angus! The "Irish Giant" doesn't seem to be in the best of moods, but "The Game" greets him cheerfully.
Triple H: "Ahh... Angus! My buddy! The new champ! How's it going?"
Angus: "Aye... what do you think you're doing, fella?"
Triple H: "What do you mean?"
Angus: "Earlier tonight. Threatening Eric with a suspension if he attacks me. I don't think all that is necessary. I am okay pushing the rematch off until the Royal Rumble. But... I plan on being a FIGHTING champion, fella. I can handle anything Eric and that strange fella Mr. Black throw at me."
Triple H: "Well... that's great to hear, Angus. But... you gotta trust me on this. As a new champion, you're going to be a little naive to certain things that occur while you're champion. You wanna be a fighting champion? Great. But that... is exhausting. You gotta pace yourself. Otherwise... that reign won't last too long."
Angus: "Aye... but I've been unbeaten for well over a year, you see. I know all about pacing myself."
Triple H: "Well then... let's just say it's about protection. You've waited 9 months to cash in that briefcase. I'm giving you a little cushion."
Angus: "Protection?! I don't need protection, fella. I'm the biggest man in the WWE. I can handle anything."
Triple H: "I'm glad to hear that. You seem confident now."
Angus: "Well... I came here to also ask for something. You gave Eric a match tonight. I want a match too. I'm in fine shape. I need to get a little anger off my chest as well, fella. Book me in a contest as well."
Triple H: "Oh... okay. Well let's see... ahh yes! Of course. Tonight I was going to schedule a little tag team match as the main event. Rusty is dying to get another shot at Zach Wesley after last week, so I thought I'd plan a little tag match to shake things up. Rusty needs a partner. I know you two have had a pretty solid relationship so far. What do you think? Would you like to partner up with Rusty in the main event tonight?"
Angus: "Aye... yes! I'll gladly give that fella some help. Thanks a lot, fella. I accept!"
Triple H: "Great! I'll mark you down. And champ? Good luck out there tonight."
Angus nods and exits, while Triple H watches him leave. "The Game" shakes his head slightly with a concerned look on his face as the segment ends.

Ace vs. Quinn Cadbury
The next match on the docket came up as the result of a little backstage trash-talking last week. As Ace was leaving the arena following his tag team victory alongside Rebel Ford, he accidentally bumped into Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury. The two have had a little animosity between them over the past few months, including a one-on-one match back in November. But it appears their simmering rivalry boiled over in some harsh words, and a match was made for tonight!
Ace enters first to a loud cheer, and the "Ultimate Superstar" appears very confident for tonight's non-title bout. Next, Quinn's theme plays and the fans unload on him with angry jeers. The arrogant champ from England taunts and prances down the ramp, garnering more and more heat. Finally, the two men enter and Ace stares Quinn down fiercely, but the "English Gentleman" only smirks back. The bell rings and the battle gets underway!
Ace starts out hot, planting Quinn with a sharp STO, punching him hard repeatedly... and then tossing him out of the ring! The I.C. champ is stunned by his foe's aggressiveness as he tumbles down to the floor. Getting dangerous early on, Ace climbs the nearest turnbuckle and appears ready to attempt a flying move just minutes into this match! The "Ultimate Superstar" leaps for a flying elbow drop... but Cadbury moves at the last second to let his opponent crash hard onto the ringside surface!
The cocky champion slides back into the ring while Ace recovers, and starts taunting him and the crowd heavily! The fans respond with more boos, but Quinn seems to enjoy it. But when Quinn turns his back to Ace, the "Ultimate Superstar" slides in and attacks him! Cadbury is ready this time, and reverses with a big punch and a piledriver. Ace counters with a clothesline and a sidewalk slam/elbow drop combination, giving him the confidence to try a pinfall! The referee is only able to reach a 2-count before Quinn gets a shoulder up.
Angered, Cadbury gets to his feet and tries to clothesline his foe... but Ace reverses with a drop toe hold, and follows up with a submission hold! Quinn groans in pain as Ace applies the pressure, but somehow the Intercontinental champ manages to crawl and grab the ropes. Ace is determined to deliver more damage, and tosses the weakened champ into the corner. He lifts him onto the top turnbuckle, and backs up a few steps. The "Ultimate Superstar" races over to try and dropkick Quinn to the outside... but Quinn scurries out and Ace crashes into the turnbuckle! Cadbury laughs at his foe from the apron as he staggers back, but Ace recovers quickly and clotheslines Quinn down to the floor below!
Outside the ring, Ace continues to dominate and uses the environment to his advantage. He drags Quinn over to the commentary area and slams his foe's head off the announce table. Then, he follows up with a signature Falling Star! Quinn is seemingly knocked out and Ace takes a moment to recover himself. In the ring, the referee had been counting and just passed 6. Ace seems comfortable letting his foe lose by countout and waits a minute just staring at him with a sly smile. But just as the referee passes the 9 count, Quinn wakes and rolls into the ring! The champ is going to try and steal a countout victory! Ace is stunned for a moment, but realizes he's about to lose and slides in just before the official makes it to 10.
Back in the ring, Ace is ready to finish off his arrogant opponent. Quinn's last-second ditch effort to win failed, and he can barely muster the energy to stand, let alone fight back. The "Ultimate Superstar" lifts him up... and slams him down with a finishing Royal Flush! Ace goes for the cover and earns the 1-2-3 to win the match!
The crowd cheers loudly for Ace, who allows the ref to raise his arm before celebrating himself!
WINNER: Ace

Backstage Segment
Smackdown bounces back from commercial and the cameras pick up backstage, where we see the American Cool trio walking. Antonio Jordan, Krizz Torture and Audrey Vega seem to be pretty confident, but they are not on the match schedule tonight. Antonio & Krizz picked up a big tag team win over the Bullet Boyz last week, while Audrey is still reeling from her loss in the Women's Title Triple Threat at last month's PPV. Still, the "American Woman" seems to be happy alongside her two pals.
As they walk, they pass several members of the roster and backstage crew. But one person in particular catches their attention, and Antonio stops them for a chat.
Antonio: "Yo, Rebel! What's going on, man?"
Rebel Ford enters the frame and shakes hands with Antonio. Rebel, alongside possible new ally Ace, won a tag team match also last week when they defeated Parker & Coop. Antonio continues his conversation.
Antonio: "Saw your boy Ace out there tonight. Looked pretty impressive beating up on that English idiot."
Krizz: "Yeah, dude. That Cadbury needs an ass-whipping every single week."
Rebel: "Ha ha, yeah. Ace did pretty well out there. You guys looked great too last week. Beating the Bullet Boyz must've felt good."
Antonio: "For sure! Anytime me and Krizz can pick up a win together, it's good for the whole group. Ace & yourself also pulled off a win over those Olympic buddies. That's two big wins together in only a few weeks!"
Rebel: "Yeah, I'm not sure where it's heading, but we seem to work well together."
Antonio: "It honestly makes me a little concerned about the tag team division. With you and Ace teaming up? That's going to be a tough task for anybody interested in the Tag Team Titles."
Rebel: "Well... I'm not sure if that's what we would want to do. That would be a great title opportunity."
Antonio: "Trust me... we know. It's been over a year-and-a-half since we held those Tag Titles! And it's been 6 months since we last had a shot at them. I think it's time we got back in the title hunt."
Rebel: "Well that's great but... you would have to beat nearly every team to become #1 contenders. You've only had 1 win."
Antonio: "Ahh... I see. Like... beating you and Ace?"
Rebel: "Ha ha... I don't know. I mean, if we are an official team and all... then probably yeah."
Antonio: "Tell you what. Krizz & I are down for any challenge, any time. Let's make a match for next week. Krizz & I versus Ace & yourself. Best tag team wins. What do you say?"
Rebel: "Best tag team, ehh? Like... #1 contenders?"
Antonio: "Ha ha! Maybe! We'll see you fellas in the ring next week. Better check that tag team textbook for some new moves!"
Antonio gives Rebel a playful tap on the shoulder and Krizz also slaps a high-five to the "Revolutionary Brawler". Rebel watches them leave with a thoughtful look on his face. As the segment ends, a smile forms and he nods his head confidently!

Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black) vs. Guy Justice
The show switches over to ringside, where the next match is about to commence. Eric Executioner, the now former World Heavyweight champ, has a one-on-one battle with the "True Savior" tonight! Earlier, Eric and Mr. Black tried to demand a title rematch but Triple H denied it and also threatened Eric with a suspension if he were to attack Angus outside of any regularly-scheduled match. Instead, the interim GM put the "Narcissist" in a match against Justice to possibly allow him to blow off a little steam!
Eric & Mr. Black enter first, and the sinister duo stroll to the ring quietly as the crowd boos them. Next, Justice's theme hits and the Omaha crowd gives a mixed reaction to the faithful grappler, but the "True Savior" walks calmly to the ring with his sweatshirt hood pulled over his head. Once both men enter, the bell rings to kick things off!
The "Narcissist" starts off the match with a flurry of punches and kicks to the gut, trying to beat his opponent into a pulp. But Justice counters quickly, planting Eric with a German suplex, elbowing him in the back of the head and delivering a stiff punch right to his cheek! The rally by Guy only seems to anger Eric more, as he starts to be more aggressive with his moves. Eric lands a few power moves and then whips Justice with all his strength into the corner! The "Truth Seeker" bounces viciously off the turnbuckle pads before falling to the mat. Eric follows up with a double-handed chokeslam and a nasty powerslam, which leads right into a pinning combination! The referee counts 1... 2... and Justice kicks out in time!
The angry "Narcissist" decides that the ring isn't big enough to hold them, so he runs over and shoulders Justice right out of the ring! Guy tumbles down to the floor near Mr. Black, who taunts him fiercely. Eric climbs out and lifts Guy up, just to drop him chest-first onto the unforgiving barricade! Eric wants to deliver another power move, and attempts to give Justice a powerbomb. But when Eric lifts Guy up onto his shoulders, Justice wriggles free and pulls the "Narcissist" down to the floor! Eric's head bounces off the surface and Justice targets his foe's skull, delivering two nasty elbows right to the temple. Eric recovers and grabs Justice furiously, whipping him hard into the ringside steel steps! When the "True Savior" staggers to his feet, Eric delivers a painful power move from behind! The shot seems to daze Justice heavily, and Eric rolls his opponent back into the ring.
Justice lays on the mat for a few moments trying to recover, but the "Narcissist" isn't interested in letting up. Eric walks over and ties Justice up in his signature Hung Jury submission hold! Justice groans in pain as Eric cranks the hold tighter, and Mr. Black laughs in a sinister manner nearby. But the "True Savior" isn't going to tap out, and starts to muscle his arms free. Finally, in a desperate and impressive move, Justice lifts Eric up with the submission still locked in... and slams him down in a powerbomb variation to break free! Both men lay on the mat for a minute trying to regain their bearings, and the crowd whoops it up for the clutch reversal!
But despite Justice's efforts, Eric proves to be too determined to overcome. The "Narcissist" rises off the mat first, and nods towards Mr. Black as his manager barks orders at him. When Justice staggers to his feet, Eric quickly snatches him by the throat! Justice can't break free this time, and the former World champ plants him down with his Final Verdict finishing chokeslam! Eric goes for the cover, and the referee counts 1... 2... 3!!! The "Narcissist" picks up a big win just a week after losing his precious World Heavyweight Title!

Backstage Segment
When the show returns from its final break of the night, a video clip is shown from a backstage segment that occurred during the pause. Women's champ Eve Torres is walking purposefully down the hall and she approaches Mr. Black just as he sends Eric into the locker room after a post-match chat. Eve gets her new manager's attention.
Eve: "Hey... how's Eric?"
Mr. Black: "He's fine. He will be fine."
Eve: "He looked good out there tonight! That's a positive sign."
Mr. Black: "I agree. Not as dominant as I would have liked, but I'm going to give him a slight pass."
Eve: "Is there anything I can do to help?"
Mr. Black: "Nope. Don't worry about it, dear. Eric will be back on top soon, I can assure you. This is only a slight bump in the road on our intended path. You are now my current champion. You stay as focused as possible on your success."
Mr. Black quickly enters the locker room just before Eve can respond. The Women's champ seems a little discouraged by the conversation, but she shrugs it off. Before she can walk off, another voice catches her attention.
Jersey Jenny: "Must suck to not be heard or cared about, huh?"
The "Shore's Princess" steps into frame, drawing an eye roll from the Women's champ. Eve won the Triple Threat match at last month's PPV, winning back the title she lost to Jenny back in September. Eve sighs and responds.
Eve: "Ugh... what do you want Jenny?"
Jersey Jenny: "Oh nothing. Just doing my regular strolls. Gotta stay in shape, you know? To be a champion, you have to work like a champion. Can't just lay around waiting for someone to help you!"
Eve: "Help? I don't need any help. I won this title all by myself!"
Jersey Jenny: "Did you? Did you really? Because it looks like you just aligned yourself with the ugliest man I've ever seen. What, is he brainwashing you or something? I wouldn't choose that man to be my taxi driver, let alone my manager!"
Eve: "No! He's just... advising me. I can handle my own business."
Jersey Jenny: "Oh... sure, sure. I bet you can. Big girl, you are! Taking all the time off you need, coming back and stealing a title from someone who actually worked for it and stuck around. Wow... so impressive!"
Eve: "You shut up, Jenny! I did what I needed to do. YOU are the one who failed to keep the title when it mattered most. I think it's YOU who needs a lesson on how to handle your business in the ring."
Jersey Jenny: "Is that so? Well... why don't we handle OUR business in the ring next week?"
Eve: "Fine. Me and you, next week."
Jersey Jenny: "Oh... no, no, no. I meant you and Eric. Together. On the same team."
Eve: "What? Me and Eric? Against who?"
Jersey Jenny: "Well... me obviously. And my brother Paulie!"
Eve: "Your brother?! Seriously?"
Jersey Jenny: "Oh yeah. He's been working hard off-screen for a while. Trying to build up his strength a bit more. Plus... we have actually tagged with each other before. You and Eric... I'm not sure you guys have actually been in the same room yet, let alone team up."
Eve: "Oh you will see. Eric and I will destroy you two Jersey phonies. Just you wait and see! You're both DEAD next week."
Jersey Jenny: "Oh okay, sweetheart. I'll believe it when I see it. See you next week!"
Jenny taps Eve on the shoulder, and Eve brushes her hand away angrily. J.J. laughs and skips away, while Eve glares at her intensely. Looks like a mixed-tag match is on the card for next week's Smackdown! Eve's angry expression is the final image as the segment fades out.

MAIN EVENT:
Rusty & Angus vs. Zach Wesley & ???
The Omaha crowd is buzzing for the night's main event, which will feature the new World Heavyweight champ in action! Angus agreed to team up with Cruiserweight champ Rusty to face Zach Wesley and a mystery partner. Zach dominated Rusty on Smackdown last week, beating the "2 Xtreme" superfan in humiliating fashion. The determined Cruiserweight champ wanted another shot, and Triple H scheduled a tag match instead of another one-on-one encounter. "The Game" enlisted the new World champ as Rusty's partner, while Zach was expected to find one of his own. Who would join the "Mohawked Maniac" in this show-closing battle?
Rusty enters first to a supportive crowd and the bruising champ heads to ringside with a very focused expression. Next, new World champ Angus strolls down and the crowd whoops it up for the "Irish Giant", who holds the big gold belt up for all to admire. Wesley's music follows and the crowd boos for the "Maniac" but he barks and shouts to frighten any nearby fans. After Wesley climbs into the ring and waits, a few quiet, anxious moments pass before Zach's mystery partner is revealed. It seems to be taking a long time... is Wesley going to take on the champion duo by himself in a Handicap match? But suddenly... a familiar AC/DC song plays and the fans unleash their loudest boos for the arrogant Joseph T. Lutte! The "Fantastic Frenchman" has joined Zach to take on two of his former rivals! Joseph struts to the ring, making his regular money gestures, and climbs in to stand alongside his partner for the evening. Angus scowls at the man he beat to defend his Money in the Bank briefcase last month, but Joseph smirks back. The bell rings to kick the night's closing match off!
Rusty and Zach battle first, and the Cruiserweight champ surprises his foe with some aggressive moves right away. Rusty hits a rolling neckbreaker and rises off the mat in excitement. But he strays too close to the opposing corner, and Joseph reaches in to deliver a cheap shot punch to the back of the head! The blow dazes Rusty, and gives Zach time to recover and deliver two forceful punches. Wesley follows up by locking Rusty into a back-breaking submission hold! Rusty manages to reach out and snag a hold of the nearest rope, forcing Zach to end the hold.
Rusty responds with another solid move, but his attempt at a running maneuver is stalled by Zach's sidewalk slam. Rusty maintains his focus, countering with a hurricanrana... and then racing over to tag in Angus! The World champ steps into the ring, and an intense staredown between the two behemoths stirs up a little excitement. These two were rivals a year ago at this time, when Angus beat Zach in an Inferno match at the previous Royal Rumble. Finally, the staredown breaks when Angus delivers a massive big boot! He tries to whip Wesley into the corner, but the "Maniac" reverses and delivers a running big boot to the champ near the turnbuckle. Angus falls to the mat, but his partner gives him an assist... by punching Zach in the back of the head! Wesley stumbles forward, and Angus plants him with a big power move.
Rusty begs for a tag back in, so Angus tosses Zach into his corner. The World champ tags Rusty in, and together they slam Zach down with a double-team flapjack! Rusty then quickly puts together an impressive succession of moves. First, he slams Zach's head repeatedly off the mat. Then, he climbs the nearest turnbuckle for a flying senton! Rusty locks in a sleeper hold to choke out his foe, and then places Wesley on the ropes to deliver a running neck snap! Fired up, the "2 Xtreme" superfan nails a dazed "Maniac" with his Rusty Bumper signature and then scales the turnbuckle... to deliver his Rusty Wheel finishing splash! Rusty goes for the pin and the referee counts 1... 2... and Joseph makes the save!
Rusty gets angry at the wealthy European interfering, and takes it out on Zach more. Wesley uses the corner turnbuckle to rise back to his feet, but Rusty nails him with a Shining Wizard move. Then, in a payback move, Rusty runs to the opposite corner... and clotheslines Joseph off the apron! Rusty is pumped, and decides to try another flying move onto his large rival. But just as Rusty reaches the top... Zach is there to stop him! Wesley lifts Rusty up and slams him down with a desperate power move. Both men are down for a bit as the crowd cheers for the exhilarating main event!
Both men crawl to their corners to deliver tags to their fresh partners, but Angus gets control of Joseph right away. A double clothesline combo stuns Lutte, and then Angus whips him into the ropes to deliver a running backbreaker! The World champ then grabs his foe and wraps him up in his signature Irish Squeeze! Joseph gasps for air as Angus compresses his torso, but Joseph wriggles free and counters with a DDT! The reversal stuns the "Giant", and Joseph follows up with a left-handed clothesline. Joseph taunts the champ, but again fails to recognize where he is. Rusty reaches out and locks his arms up! Angus rises to his feet and spots his rival stuck in place, and delivers a nasty headbutt. Angus attempts to whip him into the corner, but Joseph reverses and follows up with a body splash. Angry, the World champ knocks Lutte completely out of the ring with a massive uppercut!
Outside the ring, Angus brawls with both opponents while Rusty runs over. Rusty scales the turnbuckle and leaps... crashing through Zach and narrowly missing Joseph! Lutte slides back into the ring to avoid danger, but Angus is stalking right behind. The World champ reaches up to pull his foe's neck down on the top rope, dazing him enough to allow Angus to lock in a brain squeeze hold! Rusty wants a tag, and Angus obliges him. Unfortunately, Joseph responds with aggressiveness and tosses Rusty into the corner. The French grappler pounds Rusty with lots of punches, and then tags in Zach for more.
But again, Rusty's resiliency turns the tide. Rusty counters a move to knock Zach down, and he runs over to clothesline Joseph down to the floor again! He then nails Wesley with another flying senton, and catches him with a hurricanrana to follow up. Desperate, the "Maniac" tags out to a still-woozy Joseph, who runs right into a fired-up Cruiserweight champ. Rusty whips Joseph into the corner, lifts him onto the top turnbuckle... and slams him down with a superhurricanrana! Angus senses the moment and goes after Zach, brawling with the "Maniac" outside the ring while Rusty finishes off Lutte. Rusty delivers his Rusty Bumper signature, then waits patiently to drive his head into the mat with his finishing Rusty Nail! The "2 Xtreme" superfan goes for the cover, and scores the decisive 1-2-3 count to win the match!
The crowd erupts into cheers for the big upset victory, with Rusty pinning the former 3-time Intercontinental champ! Angus reenters the ring to celebrated with his fellow champ, and they welcome the support from the excited Omaha fans!
Their celebration is cut short though, as two intruders walk onto the stage... Eric Executioner & Mr. Black! Angus spots them and locks eyes with his new rivals. A few tense moments pass, but Angus decides to send a message... by raising his new World Title belt high! The sight of the big gold belt enrages Eric, who needs to be stopped by his sinister manager from going on a rampage. The image of Eric's intense anger meeting Angus' confident smirk closes the episode!
WINNERS: Rusty & Angus
Rusty enters first to a supportive crowd and the bruising champ heads to ringside with a very focused expression. Next, new World champ Angus strolls down and the crowd whoops it up for the "Irish Giant", who holds the big gold belt up for all to admire. Wesley's music follows and the crowd boos for the "Maniac" but he barks and shouts to frighten any nearby fans. Week 3
The WWE recent tour of shows through Florida caps off with a Friday Night Smackdown episode LIVE from Orlando!
Backstage Segment
The show begins in the parking lot where interim GM Triple H is waiting patiently for someone to arrive. Hunter checks his watch as he stands near the arena steps, and crosses his arms after a minute. Finally, a car pulls into the parking area and Triple H smiles as he recognizes the vehicle. The dark grey town car pulls up the arena steps and Triple H opens the door for the guests. Out of the car steps... Tag Team champs Alpha & Omega and their mentor Master Kimoto! The Japanese duo and their elder instructor are visiting the blue brand tonight! Triple H shakes hands with all 3 men and speaks.
Triple H: "Hey guys, thanks for coming tonight. I figured you would enjoy the show and give you a chance to scout some potential future opponents. We are holding a #1 contender's match for the Tag Team Titles tonight! You are more than welcome to watch the match from any location. You can watch backstage in a private room, in the locker room or even go to ringside if you'd prefer."
Master Kimoto looks around the arena for a moment while Alpha & Omega stay silent and nod politely. Finally, Kimoto responds to Hunter's offer.
Master Kimoto: "Thank you for your generosity. I suppose that we will accept your offer to observe the tag team match tonight. In our eyes, there's nothing strategically to be gained. In reality, the winner of the match is irrelevant. In fact, my pupils believe that the match really doesn't matter much. But we would love to be guests for your show tonight!"
The wise mentor thanks Hunter again and the Tag Team champs bow to the interim GM. "The Game" gestures them towards the open arena door and they walk in. Triple H turns back to look out around the parking lot, but a confused expression comes over his face. The match doesn't matter? What could that mean? Hunter ponders deeply as the segment fades out!

Hitman Jack (w/ H.E.R.O.) vs. Joseph T. Lutte
Opening the show tonight is an interesting non-title match between the ECW champ and the "Fantastic Frenchman"! Hitman Jack and his tag partner H.E.R.O. have been trying to improve their teamwork, but they have also been pretty strong in their individual matches lately as well. Meanwhile, the wealthy European has been struggling lately, losing his Intercontinental Title to Quinn Cadbury in October and then falling short of capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase from Angus at last month's PPV. Tonight, the "Lethal Canadian" faces Joseph in a show-opening bout for the Orlando crowd!
Hitman makes his entrance with H.E.R.O. alongside, appearing very confident. Next, Joseph's AC/DC theme hits and the crowd boos him heavily, but the "Fantastic Frenchman" is his normally arrogant self. The two men enter the ring, but another person is also close by to watch... Krizz Torture! The "2 Cool" superstar pulls up a chair in the front row, but is he there to keep an eye on rival Joseph or the ECW champ? The bell rings to start the night's first battle.
The competitors trade moves to start the match, with Hitman landing a Fisherman's neckbreaker and Joseph countering with a suplex. Jack tosses his foe into the corner and follows up with an elbow drop from the 2nd turnbuckle. The flying maneuver gives him the momentum, and he uses it to land a quick pattern of damaging moves. In a matter of minutes, the ECW champ hurts Lutte with a swinging neckbreaker, a big clothesline, locks in a sleeper hold for a bit and then completes the run with a rolling fireman's carry off the top turnbuckle!
The run may have been impressive, but Joseph is resilient and starts a rally of his own. A Falcon Arrow and a running clothesline hurts the champ, but the French heel has some more damaging ideas. While the ref checks on Hitman briefly, Joseph steps into the corner... and quietly removes the turnbuckle cover! The fans boo as Lutte smirks and tosses the pad aside. He grabs Hitman and lifts him, ready to whip him towards the dangerous corner. But as he attempts the Irish whip, Hitman reverses... and sends Joseph crashing into the exposed steel! Lutte's back smacks into the exposed turnbuckle and he staggers out briefly, groaning in pain before falling back. Fired up, Jack grabs Joseph and hits his Jack Flash signature! To follow up, he slams Lutte down with his Lethal Hit finisher and attempts a pin! The referee counts 1... 2... and Joseph snatches the ropes to force a break! The official tells Hitman to stop the attempt, and the ECW champ rolls off frustrated.
Hitman talks to the referee for a moment, arguing over the rope break. The official informs him of what happened, but Hitman remains frustrated. A moment later, Joseph gets involved in the argument and eventually the two opponents are bickering inches away from each other. The referee tries to separate them to no avail, and the ECW champ's anger boils over and he tries to punch his foe. But Joseph ducks... and Hitman blasts the unsuspecting official right in the face! The referee tumbles to the mat, knocked out, and Jack is stunned that he was the cause!
Hitman tries to revive the referee, but he appears to be too dazed from the punch's impact. Joseph senses a chance to bend the rules, and he exits the ring to grab a steel chair from under the ring! Hitman doesn't see him as he continues to attend to the official, and the "Fantastic Frenchman" slides in behind him holding the chair ominously! Lutte smirks in a sinister manner, and then raises the chair up above his head to deliver a shot. But just as he attempts to swing the weapon... H.E.R.O. grabs the chair to prevent it! The "Cali Dragon" had entered the ring to help his buddy, and refuses to let go of the chair! Joseph turns and gets into a tug-of-war with H.E.R.O. over the chair, yelling angrily at him. Finally, H.E.R.O. wins the battle and pulls the foreign object away.
Lutte is obviously livid over missing the chance to strike his foe with the illegal weapon, and decides to take out his anger with a strong flurry of moves. He stuns Jack with wild punches, and then follows up with a big suplex and a powerful slam. Feeling the momentum, Joseph lifts Hitman onto his shoulders to try for his finishing move. Joseph tosses Jack up... but the "Lethal Canadian" reverses into a submission hold! Lutte groans in pain and struggles to break free, and Hitman cranks up the pressure in desperation! The counter excites the crowd and it seems like Joseph might not be able to wriggle out. He uses his leverage to scoot closer to the ropes, and finally grabs a rope to end the hold! The referee has come back to life, and he demands that Jack releases the hold.
Despite not winning by submission, the ECW champ is set up to finish off his foe. When Joseph staggers to his feet, Hitman slams him down with another Jack Flash signature! He quickly lifts Lutte up and delivers a second Lethal Hit in the middle of the ring! The ECW champ goes for the cover and the woozy ref counts the 1-2-3 to give him the win!

Backstage Segments
After a brief commercial break, two clips showing some developments that happened during the break are shown. First, Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury is shown arriving for tonight's show. Last week, Quinn suffered a tough loss to Ace in a non-title matchup. The "English Gentleman" isn't on the match card tonight, but he seems very determined as he enters the arena. Cadbury also appears to be very angry as he walks in, staring straight ahead and walking briskly.
The camera transitions to the locker room, where Hitman Jack and H.E.R.O. are chatting after the ECW champ's win over Joseph just a few minutes ago. The conversation is picked up midway.
H.E.R.O.: "... yeah, I can't believe he tried to hit you with that chair. I had to do something!"
Hitman: "Yeah, I appreciate it. Saved my ass there. That ref was out for a while."
H.E.R.O.: "But you came back and won! That's all that matters. But... somehow it doesn't matter enough to be considered in the Tag Team #1 contender discussion?"
Hitman: "Yeah I'm not sure what that's all about. They get to decide who gets to battle for the #1 contender spot on their own? I don't think that's the way it works."
H.E.R.O.: "I didn't think so either. It's ridiculous! In fact... we should take on the winner tonight in a NEW #1 contender match next week!"
Hitman: "I like that idea! If they can make their own #1 contender match, then so can we!"
H.E.R.O.: "Hell yeah! We're going to snatch that title shot, and then... win those Tag Titles!"
The H-Squared duo slap a high-five and nod confidently. Will they really get a #1 contender match next week? The partners continue to chat as the segment comes to an end!

Tag Team #1 Contender Match:
American Cool vs. Rebel Ford & Ace
Next up on the card is a battle between two fan-favorite tag teams to determine the next contenders for Alpha & Omega's Tag Team Titles! Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture have ventured back into the tag division after a relatively long hiatus, while Ace & Rebel is the newest partnership of former World champions. A friendly conversation last week led to a match tonight, and the #1 contender spot was put on the line. To make matters more interesting, the Japanese duo and their elder mentor is in the building to watch this match very closely! Just before the match, a clip is shown with the Tag Team champs watching on a TV backstage with Master Kimoto nearby. The fans start buzzing as the pre-match proceedings get going.
Antonio's theme song plays, and the American Cool trio heads down to the ring. Audrey Vega joins her male allies for support, and Antonio & Krizz appear very focused for tonight's battle. Next, Rebel & Ace make separate entrances and earn big cheers from the crowd as they walk to ringside. Antonio and Rebel prep to start out the match for their respective sides, and the bell rings to begin the battle for a title shot!
The "Mastermind" starts out hot, landing a powerslam, knee drop and European uppercut delivered off the 2nd turnbuckle. Rebel counters back with a running knee and a Samoan drop, but Jordan cuts off the rally with a big dropkick. Antonio tags in his partner, and Krizz keeps the momentum going. He and Antonio hit a double-team shoulder block, and the "2 Cool" superstar follows up with a dancing leg drop and a running powerslam! Krizz attempts a pinfall right after the slam, but Ace runs in to break it up. Krizz drops Rebel chest-first onto the top of the ropes, but the "Revolutionary Brawler" starts a new rally. After a bunch of quick moves, Rebel tosses Krizz into his own corner and performs a double-team move with Ace!
Ace is the legal man and continues the momentum, landing a bunch of impressive moves. But soon after, Krizz surprises the "Ultimate Superstar" with a comeback! Krizz punches Ace to daze him, and then delivers a flying leg drop to the back on Ace's head. With Ace down, Krizz delivers his signature Cool Drop... and then signals for his finisher! He lifts Ace up, and powerbombs him down with his Torture Rack finisher! He tries for a pin, but Rebel dives in at the last second to break it up!
Krizz tosses Ace into the corner and lifts him up top. In an impressive feat of strength, "2 Cool" snatches Ace by the throat... and chokeslams him off the top! Krizz celebrates wildly for the big move... but Ace kips up to his feet! Krizz turns around and Ace lifts him up quickly. Ace swings him around and stuns him with his Royal Flush finisher! The big move fires up the crowd and Ace tries for a pin. The referee counts 1... 2... and Antonio stops it just in time!
After the pin breakup, Antonio lingers in the ring for a moment and Ace takes offense which leads to them getting in a little shouting match. Finally, an angry Ace delivers a punch and attacks "America's Favorite"! Krizz shakes off the cobwebs and notices his partner getting beaten, so he runs over to stop Ace. A furious Krizz counters with a DDT, and both men attempt a slow crawl towards their corners for a tag!
Antonio and Rebel get their tags at the same time, but that is when the match goes off the rails. Krizz and Ace stay in the ring, and a massive brawl breaks out between all 4 men! The referee struggles to restore order, and the strong grapplers take out some pent-up anger on each other. In the middle of the fight, a wayward punch strikes the referee and he goes tumbling down to the mat! None of the match competitors seem to notice, while Audrey goes over to check on the match official. Ace and Krizz tackle each other out of the ring, while Antonio and Rebel continue to trade blows inside the squared circle.
Outside the ring, Ace takes control of his foe and delivers a nasty slam onto the barricade. The "Ultimate Superstar" taunts the crowd briefly as Krizz groans in pain. But suddenly... Quinn Cadbury sneaks through the crowd and jumps the barricade! The "English Gentleman" stands behind Ace for a moment, holding his Intercontinental Title like a weapon! When Ace turns around, Quinn smashes the title belt over his rival's head! Cadbury then quickly escapes through the crowd, and the woozy ref starts to come to his senses in the ring without seeing the interference. In the ring, Antonio blasts Rebel with his Knee Deep signature and then follows up with his American Dream finisher! Antonio looks around in bewilderment for a moment, confused about where his partner and Ace are, but tries for the pinfall anyway. The dazed referee has enough energy to count the 1-2-3, making American Cool the new #1 contenders!
The crowd is a little unsure how to react, but mostly they cheer! A lot of them are focused on Ace and the interference that knocked him out, making Antonio & Krizz's win feel a little cheap. It's a strange scene as Antonio celebrates happily, unaware of what happened outside the ring!
WINNERS: Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture
Backstage Segment
The show returns from commercial and a pre-match meeting is shown between Mr. Black and his two clients, Eric Executioner and Women's champ Eve Torres. In a few minutes, Eric & Eve are supposed to battle in a mixed-tag match against the sibling team of Paulie Dominos & Jersey Jenny. Eve and Jenny created the match last week after the "Shore's Princess" questioned the status of Eve's new partnership with the sinister duo. But this will be the first joining of Mr. Black's clients in a match together, and this pre-match meeting is supposed to be a strategy session. But... things aren't going smoothly.
Mr. Black: "Eve... you need to recognize all the damage Eric can do. I know you really want to fight Jenny, but you two are more evenly matched. Eric can dominate that dancing fool and win this match easily."
Eve: "Evenly matched? Did you honestly just say that? I was the one who won at TLC!"
Mr. Black: "We understand. We recognize your accomplishments... but... this match needs to help Eric more. He needs to get back in shape to defeat Angus at the Royal Rumble."
Eve: "Eric... are you okay with this? Basically I just need to stay out of the way? Huh?"
Eric looks at Eve for a bit, and somewhat seems to be understanding. But the "Narcissist" glances at Mr. Black, who scowls back at him. Eric looks back at Eve and reluctantly nods at her. She scoffs and responds angrily.
Eve: "Well... I don't see things the same way. I'm going to fight my hardest tonight, and I will get in the match as much as I want. I can win this match myself too. I don't care about what Eric needs. I need to win too! Who can believe in a champion who sits back and watches? NOBODY! I don't want to talk about this anymore. It's time to go to the ring."
Eve walks off angry, while the two men stay behind for a second. Eric looks at Mr. Black with a annoyed look, but Mr. Black taps him on the shoulder assuredly. Eric shakes his head and points in Eve's direction, trying to communicate that the Women's champ may have a point. Mr. Black tells Eric that everything will be okay, and the "Narcissist" turns to follow his tag partner. Mr. Black takes a deep sigh as the segment comes to an end!

Eric Executioner & Eve (w/ Mr. Black) vs. The Jersey Family
The anticipated mixed-tag match between Mr. Black's clients and the brother & sister duo out of New Jersey is set, and it will be interesting to see if Eric & Eve can truly work well together in their first match as a team. The sinister duo of Eric & Mr. Black enters first to a disapproving crowd, who boo them very heavily. Next, Eve gets her own entrance and she appears very confident as she heads down. She doesn't make eye contact with her partner as she walks past, and Mr. Black seems a little concerned. Next, the dancing LMFAO theme hits and the Jersey Family struts down to the ring! Paulie D. looks a little more muscular in his return to Smackdown after a brief hiatus, while the "Shore's Princess" teases the crowd and supports her brother. The teams get settled in their respective corners and it appears the men will start of this mixed-gender matchup. The bell rings, and the tag battle gets underway!
Eric tries to overpower his foe with strong moves to start, but Paulie answers back with some quickness, landing a sharp kick to the face, a follow-up dropkick and a nasty slap! "Mr. Amazing" senses the tension brewing between his opponents and he tags out to Jenny to force Eve into the match! Eric argues with the ref, but reluctantly tags in his female ally. The rival ladies circle each other at first, ready to fight, and then start trading moves. It is a great back-and-forth battle between them for a while, and the fans voice their approval of their performance.
But a determined J.J. takes control of the match, and catches the Women's champ with a Paid Tab signature move! When Eve staggers back to her feet, Jenny starts her finishing Beautiful Knockout combination of punches! After the final left-handed haymaker drops Eve to the mat, Jenny goes for the pinfall! The referee counts 1... 2... and Eric pulls Jenny off of his partner and tosses her aside! The move ends the ref's count and angers her brother, and Paulie D. enters the ring to confront the "Narcissist". After listening to Paulie silently for a moment, Eric shoves him back as hard as he can! Eric then quietly returns to his post on the ring apron as the ladies recover in the ring.
Jenny surprises Eve with a Lou Thesz press and more punches, but Eve counters a running move with a hip toss. Exhausted, both girls tag out to the men and Paulie is ready to tussle with his bigger foe! Again, speed gives the "Jersey Fist-Pumper" an advantage as he lands a flying cross body and a hip splash. But he gets overzealous, and his attempt at a running maneuver goes awry when Eric counters into a painful powerslam pinning combo! The referee counts 1... 2... and Jenny dives in to save her brother in time! Despite keeping the match alive, Eric starts to dominate Paulie with vicious power moves. In his corner, Eve asks him for a tag but Eric refuses. An argument starts to take place, and Mr. Black tries valiantly to keep his clients focused. When Eric loses concentration amid the bickering, a weakened Paulie escapes from his grasp and dives to tag in his sister! The tag forces Eric to tag out to Eve, and a very angry "Narcissist" again does so reluctantly.
Jenny goes on the offensive, delivering some big moves and punches to her rival. But Eve is resilient and rallies back with an array of dropkicks. Frustrated, Jenny decides to strike her opposing male rival who is standing idly by on the apron. Jenny taunts Eric for a second and then raises her fist to attempt to punch him! Eric is shocked for a second, and Jenny swings forward... but a dropkick out of nowhere by Eve sends her tumbling to the mat! The punch never connected and Eve stares at her tag partner for a second, communicating that she just willingly saved him from an embarrassing moment!
Eve turns in her corner after saving Eric from Jenny's punch... but Eric reaches over and tags himself in! Eve whips around in shock, and Eric brushes her off and gestures her to return to the corner! Jenny crawls over to her corner to tag in Paulie D., but the Jersey Family is too damaged to rally back. Eric furiously beats up "Mr. Amazing", weakening him to the point of unconsciousness. Sensing a chance to win, Eric grabs Paulie... and locks him up in his signature Hung Jury submission! Jenny tries to race in and stop it, but Eve greets her with a clothesline! Without her sister nearby to help, Paulie has no choice but to tap out and give Mr. Black's clients their first win as a team!
After the match, Mr. Black enters the ring to celebrate with his allies but the tension between them is still very evident. Mr. Black tries to celebrate with them simultaneously, but both Eric and Eve keep trying to pull the manager closer to them. This odd, passive-aggressive tug-of-war continues as the crowd boos the heels for their win!

Interview Segment
After the final commercial break of the evening, an interview is set up backstage. Lillian Garcia is standing next to Guy Justice, ready to chat. She gets her cue and begins the conversation.
Lillian: "Hello Smackdown fans! Tonight, I'm joined by none other than the 'True Savior' himself... Guy Justice! Justice... many fans have mixed reactions to you as a competitor here in the WWE. Your deep religiousness often rubs people the wrong way, while your overall attitude and ring skills excite those very same people. You've also been a member of the Smackdown roster for over a year, but have yet to truly break through in terms of title races and big moments. How would you respond to the perceptions of others regarding yourself?"
Justice: "Lillian... I am a fully committed competitor. I'm just simply wading in the shallow end, waiting for my moment to come. I'm going to climb the rankings. It's going to happen, trust me. As for the perceptions of others... I realize that my deep faith may offend some people. Not everybody has the same beliefs or prays to the same God. In my eyes... that is okay! Everybody has the right to be the person they want to be. That's why I'm here in the WWE! I may use religion as my motivation, but ultimately... I'm just another determined competitor. I'm going to stay true to myself and who I am, and I advise others to do the same."
Lillian: "Sound advice from the 'True Savior'! You also give vague hints at finding a certain 'truth'. What is that exactly?"
Justice: "Lillian... the truth is all that we as humans have. If we can't honor the truth, then we can't be functional as a society. If we can't find ourselves and discover our true place in this world, then what are we living for? Someone has granted us this opportunity here on Earth to thrive and grow, and we need to take advantage of that. The 'truth'... the 'truth' you speak of... the 'truth' I'm trying to find... it's out there somewhere. And when I do find it... when I'm able to honor that truth and show it in a form that easy for all to understand... then I will reveal it to everybody. As they say... the TRUTH... will set you FREE!"
Justice gives a calm handshake to Lillian and thanks her for the interview. He then turns and walks off. Lillian is deep in thought as the interview ends!

MAIN EVENT:
Angus vs. Zach Wesley
The show-closing match is about to commence, and the crowd gets fired up by the entrance of... World Heavyweight champ Angus! When that familiar guitar riff plays and the pyro blasts on the stage, the Orlando crowd whoops it up loudly for the "Irish Giant". Angus strolls to the ring calmly, title belt hanging freely off his shoulder and then holds it up proudly when he climbs into the ring. The fans give him tons of support and he seems appreciative. Next, the hard-rocking Slipknot theme for Zach Wesley plays and the crowd does a 180, sending out boos! But the "Mohawked Maniac" doesn't appear for a few moments, making everyone uneasy. Finally...
... Zach attacks Angus from behind! Wesley blasts the champ with a clothesline to stun him. Then quickly, the "Maniac" lifts Angus to his feet... and delivers his finishing Maniac Mutator! The crowd is shocked at how strong Zach appears, and he attempts a pin for a possibly quick victory! The referee counts 1... 2... and Angus kicks out! What a start to this match!
Angus shakes off the blindside attack and rallies with a few big punches. He whips Zach hard into the corner and follows up with a foot choke, putting nearly all of his 500-lb. weight into the move. But Wesley is ready to counter, and whips the champ into another corner. Angus hits the corner chest-first and leans against it, and Zach follows up with a nasty clothesline from behind. The "Maniac" lifts Angus and traps him in the Tree of Woe... and delivers his own foot choke to the champ! The fans are loving this hard-hitting main event between two behemoths.
Angus gets control again, sending Zach again into the corner with a hard Irish whip. Wesley staggers out of the corner holding his back, and the World champ delivers a double-clothesline combo. With Zach down on the mat, Angus lifts his leg and slams his foe's knee hard into the mat! Angus feels like the ring isn't enough room, so he eyes all the area outside of the ring that can cause damage. He attempts to whip Zach out of the ring but the "Maniac" reverses and sends Angus over the top rope. Angus holds on for a second but Zach runs over and clotheslines him down to the floor!
Outside the ring, both men use the environment to inflict more pain to their opponent. Angus slams Zach hard into the barricade, but the "Maniac" counters by tossing the champ into the steel steps. Angus responds by slamming Wesley's head off the announce table, and the "Maniac" drives the "Irish Giant" into the floor with a double-handed chokeslam! While they are battling outside, the ref has continued to count them out and just passes a count of 7. Zach hears the official and sneaks back into the ring, hoping to possibly win by countout. The referee counts 8 and 9 as Angus staggers to his feet and... the World champ lunges back into the ring just before the decisive 10-count! The crowd cheers for the resilient "Giant", while Zach groans angrily in frustration.
Back in the ring, Angus decides to stop messing around with his foe. After rallying back with some punches, he places Zach on the top turnbuckle... and slams him down with a shoulder buster maneuver! Fired up, the World champ readies himself to put the final touches on yet another win. When Wesley staggers to his feet, Angus quickly presses him up over his head... and tosses him high into the air for his Cliffhanger finisher! After the "Maniac" comes crashing down from the long fall to he mat, Angus goes for the cover and the referee counts 1... 2... 3!!! The World Heavyweight champ just scored an impressive win over the determined "Maniac"!

Post-Match Segment
After the match, Angus celebrates proudly and is handed his title belt. He holds it up and earns another big cheer from the crowd, who loves the cool and confident World champ. Zach rises off the mat, angry and disappointed over the loss, but Angus walks over to him. The "Mohawked Maniac" turns to see him close, and Angus extends his hand to over a gesture of good sportsmanship. But instead of meeting the handshake, Wesley slaps his hand away and walks off! Angus is stunned by the poor attitude after such a good match, but keeps calm.
Wesley disappears backstage as Angus continues to celebrate. But a moment later... Eric Executioner's music hits! The crowd boos and the "Narcissist" walks out onto the stage with Mr. Black alongside. The sinister duo lock eyes with the champ, and a few anxious moments pass by. Suddenly... Eric & Mr. Black begin to mockingly applaud their rival! They make gestures pretending to support Angus, and the "Irish Giant" scowls in anger at their behavior. The show comes to a close focused on the angry glare of the World champ and the arrogant applauding from the sinister duo!

Backstage Segment
The cameras switch over and we see interim GM Triple H standing by the parking lot door, waiting for someone. A moment later, the door opens and in walks... Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury! The "English Gentleman" interfered in last week's Tag Team #1 Contender's match, smacking Ace with his title belt outside the ring, which prevented the "Ultimate Superstar" from helping his partner in a critical match moment. Triple H walks behind Quinn and catches his attention.
Triple H: "Excuse me, Quinn... may I have a word with you?"
Quinn is almost startled to hear the GM's voice, and stops his walk to meet Triple H's fierce gaze.
Quinn: "Yes? May I help you?"
Triple H: "Yes, you can. You can explain to me why you interfered in last week's Tag Team #1 Contender's match."
Quinn: "Ahh, yes. Well... since you are new to Smackdown, let me inform you of something. I am the reigning Intercontinental Champion. That gives me special rights to use wherever I see fit. Now... last week I saw an opportunity to influence the results of a particular match. Now as champion, I decided to use my presence in a powerful manner. It kept an unworthy team from earning a spot they didn't deserve."
Triple H: "Well Mr. 'Champ'... I'm the new GM here on Smackdown, and that gives ME special rights as well. Whatever used to be okay when Teddy Long was GM is no longer okay. From now on, it's my way or the highway. And in fact, my way includes you putting that title of yours on the line... tonight!"
Quinn: "What?! You're not allowed to do that!"
Triple H: "Oh yes, I am. In fact, not only will you defend your title... but you'll have to face ACE."
Quinn: "No!"
Triple H: "Yes! I'd suggest getting yourself ready pretty quick here. You wouldn't want to lose your... influence."
Triple H gives a mocking pat on the back to Cadbury and then walks away. Quinn is in shock but then becomes extremely angry as the segment comes to an end!

Eve (w/ Mr. Black) vs. Kelly Kelly
The first match of the night will pit the Women's champ against K2! This will actually be Eve's first match with Mr. Black at ringside, and the development of her new alliance with fellow Mr. Black client Eric Executioner has been... interesting to say the least. They were successful in a mixed-tag match over the Jersey Family siblings last week, but it was a struggle for them to stay on the same page. This week, Mr. Black gets to support each client in separate matches and will observe his female champion first!
Eve enters first to a chorus of boos, but she mockingly waves to the crowd in defiance. Next, Kelly Kelly comes out and seems ready to challenge the Women's champ. The two ladies enter the ring and stretch out, with Mr. Black shouting some final instructions to Eve. The bell rings and the match gets underway!
Despite Kelly Kelly's best efforts, she really struggles to mount any sort of rally against a very determined Women's champ. Eve dominates the match throughout, hitting a variety of big moves to daze her opponent. A tornado DDT, a running hip toss and a standing moonsault prove to do the most damage and the crowd is surprised by the champ's relentless attack.
In the end, Eve knocks K2 down and slams into her with her signature Senton move. To follow up, Eve locks a staggering Kelly Kelly up and plants her with her Heart Breaker finisher and pins to score the easy win!
Mr. Black applauds his client proudly as she smirks towards the disapproving fans!
WINNER: Eve Torres

The show returns from commercial and the cameras venture backstage, where a very determined Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O. walk side-by-side down the hall. The ECW champ and the "Cali Dragon" discussed challenging the winner of last week's Tag Team #1 contender's match to another similar battle this week, and could possibly be searching for the American Cool trio. Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture won the match over Rebel Ford & Ace last week, but it was a little controversial thanks to Quinn Cadbury's interference near the end of the bout. The H-Squared duo round the corner and finally find who they want... and it is Antonio & Krizz! The "Lethal Canadian" and his young partner stroll over and get their attention.
Hitman: "Hey Antonio... Krizz... we've got a proposition for you."
Antonio: "Oh... hey Jack. What's up?"
Hitman: "You interested in a match tonight?"
Antonio: "We could be. What do you have in mind?"
Hitman: "Well... you two beat Rebel & Ace last week. Apparently that makes you #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles. Unfortunately, we feel like we also have a fair claim to challenge for the Tag Team Titles. So tonight... we want to challenge you & Krizz to another #1 contender's match."
Antonio: "Hmm... Interesting. What makes you think you guys can just put out another challenge like that? We worked hard to win that match last week."
Hitman: "You did win that match last week. We understand that. But... let me point out that you did win by controversy. Everybody saw Quinn Cadbury jump the barricade and hit Ace with his title belt while the referee wasn't looking. I'm not saying you guys were involved but... it definitely wasn't a clean victory. And you both know it."
A slightly guilty expression comes over both Antonio & Krizz's faces, and they glance at each other briefly. They turn back towards the opposing duo and Hitman continues to speak.
Hitman: "So... we figured that you two should have to prove yourselves as true #1 contenders by facing us tonight. You win, you get the title shots. But if we win, then we're going to the Rumble to challenge for the Tag Titles. No interference, no controversy. Let the best team win. What do you say?"
Antonio & Krizz ponder the offer for a moment, discuss their thoughts quietly and respond.
Antonio: "You're on. Us versus you guys, #1 contender's match. We'll prove last week wasn't a fluke or controversial. We're gonna win and then take the Tag Team Titles away from those Japanese luchadors on Sunday."
Antonio offers a hand, and Hitman meets it for a handshake. The two share a friendly but intense staredown as the segment ends!

Intercontinental Championship:
Quinn Cadbury {c} vs. Ace
The next match on the card is a title match that GM Triple H scheduled as a result of the champ's actions last week! Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury had been developing a feud with Ace, but lost a one-on-one battle to the "Ultimate Superstar" two weeks ago. Last week, Ace & Rebel Ford challenged Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture in a Tag Team #1 contender's match and during the match, Quinn hopped the barricade and smacked Ace over the head with his title belt. The shot knocked him out and prevented Ace from helping his partner, allowing Antonio to pick up the win. As a result, "The Game" decided that his unwarranted attack wouldn't go unpunished and he awarded an immediate title shot to Quinn's worst nightmare... tonight!
Ace makes his entrance first and the Memphis crowd whoops it up for him, hoping to see him end Quinn's reign. The "Ultimate Superstar" appears very confident for tonight's title bout, ready to claim his 3rd Intercontinental Title. Next, Quinn's music plays and the crowd unleashes angry jeers in his direction! The arrogant "English Gentleman" struts to the ring despite the unwelcome response, and even flashes a cocky smirk toward his challenger. The men get ready for battle... but suddenly, Krizz Torture appears at ringside! The "2 Cool" superstar walks down, eyeing the champ with a glare and then finds a seat in the front row. Quinn watches him approach and gets angry, changing his attitude immediately. The bell rings to signal the start of the title match!
Quinn gets aggressive right away, gaining control with a flurry of big moves. A picture-perfect suplex, a nasty-looking piledriver and a big kick damage his foe early on, and then he attempts to punch out Ace. But the "Ultimate Superstar" is ready for a reversal, and knocks the champ down with a vicious backhanded slap! The move helps Ace only for a bit, as the furious champion goes back on the offensive. Hoping to score a early win, Quinn tosses his opponent into the corner and then lifts him onto the turnbuckle. In an impressively athletic move, Cadbury plants Ace down with a huge superplex off the top! Quinn scrambles quickly for a pin attempt and the referee counts 1... 2... and Ace kicks out just in time!
Quinn angrily tries a running move, but Ace counters with a drop toe hold. The reversal gives Ace a chance to rally, and he responds with a quick succession of maneuvers. To end the run, he drops Quinn with a Falcon Arrow. But before Ace can try for a pin... the sneaky champ rolls out of the ring! Cadbury tries to gather himself while Ace fumes in the ring. Krizz talks trash to the arrogant champ as Quinn walks past, and they get into a quick war of words. The referee steps out to intervene, but Quinn reaches over and smacks the "2 Cool" superstar hard! Krizz tries to leap the barricade but the official orders him to stay, causing an upset Krizz to sit down angrily.
The cheap shot seems to give the champ some confidence, and he begins to arrogantly gesture towards the booing crowd. But in the ring, Ace starts performing his own taunts which leads the crowd to start chanting his name! Quinn yells at them to shut up, but their chants only get louder. Finally, Cadbury turns and glares at his rival. They taunt each other, but the champ can't seem to handle the perceived disrespect. Enraged, Quinn slides into the ring to attack his foe... but Ace greets him with his signature Falling Star!
The crowd whoops it up again, and Ace signals that he's ready to finish the match with his best move! Ace waits patiently for Quinn to stagger to his feet. The champ finally does and turns around. Ace approaches... but the cowardly champ escapes out of the ring again! The crowd starts booing again, this time with more force. Quinn tries to shake it off, but he can't handle the negative reaction. Finally, the champ snaps... and he grabs a nearby steel chair! The referee gives him a very stern warning... but Quinn shoves him out of the way! Cadbury re-enters the ring... and smacks the chair over Ace's head! The referee calls for the bell, signaling a DQ for the champ!
Quinn seems satisfied with his choice, ignoring the referee's scolding. The "English Gentleman" grabs his title belt and attempts to leave... but Krizz Torture leaps over the barricade from his front-row spot! Quinn sees him coming, and takes off through the crowd! Krizz gives chase but the escaping champ manages to make his way out of view in a matter of seconds, leaving an exasperated Krizz to pull up and stop. The angry look on Krizz's face and the scowling Ace in the ring ends the post-match action, as Quinn escapes with his title yet again!
WINNER (by DQ): Ace
(Titles cannot change hands due to disqualification or countout, so Quinn Cadbury remains Intercontinental Champion.)

Backstage Segment
When the show returns, the cameras pick up a backstage interaction between... Angus & Rusty! The World Heavyweight champ and the Cruiserweight champ have formed an unlikely alliance lately, and they are set to team up again in a main event tag team bout later in the show. Before they do, the duo decide to discuss a little strategy. The cameras pick up their conversation in progress.
Rusty: "... and I can handle that 'Maniac'. He's got it coming."
Angus: "Ha ha. Don't get too ahead of yourself, fella. We gotta work together to take down those blokes."
Rusty: "We can it. I have complete faith. I'm ready to get another win."
Angus: "Aye, winning does feel terrific."
Rusty: "I'm not afraid of those big lugs. They deserve everything that's coming to them."
Angus: "Aye, agreed. I'm fully ready to defend this World Title here on Sunday. I'm going to fight my hardest to keep the gold in my own hands. They're going to try every trick in the book, but I'm going to be ready. They're going to have to near kill me to get this title back."
Rusty: "I'm glad to hear that. Let's go get a big win tonight."
The two pals shake hands. Rusty stands up and bounces around a bit, throwing some playful shadow punches. Angus gives a hearty laugh as the segment ends.

Tag Team #1 Contender's Match:
American Cool vs. H2
The next match is the second #1 contender's match in 2 weeks for a shot at the Tag Team Championship, pitting the American Cool duo against the ECW champ & the "Cali Dragon"! The winner of tonight's bout will face Alpha & Omega in 2 days at the Royal Rumble PPV. Last week, Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture won a similar match over Rebel Ford & Ace but some unintended controversy put a stain on their victory. Meanwhile, Hitman & H.E.R.O. had been steadily improving their rankings both individually and as a team, earning them the right to challenge as well. Tonight's match will settle everything and determine who the Japanese luchadors will face!
Antonio & Krizz enter first with Audrey Vega alongside for support, and they appear pretty confident as they prepare to defend their #1 contender spot. Next, Hitman and H.E.R.O. make separate entrances, garnering some good support from the crowd too. Just before the match, the "Lethal Canadian" and his partner share an excited double high-five, signaling that they are fired up for tonight's battle. Antonio and Jack prepare to square off, and the bell rings to start the match!
The "Mastermind" and the ECW champ trade big moves right away, with Antonio landing a powerslam and Hitman countering with a flying elbow off the 2nd turnbuckle. Antonio tags out to Krizz soon after and together they perform a double-team move where Antonio assists his partner in a flying cross body! Krizz attempts a pin, but the referee can only count to 2 before H.E.R.O. runs in to break it up. The "2 Cool" superstar lifts Hitman up and tries for a big powerbomb... but the ECW champ counters and arm tosses his foe across the ring! Hitman uses the reversal as momentum and runs over to clothesline Krizz right out of the ring!
The "Lethal Canadian" tags out to H.E.R.O. and the "Cali Dragon" races across the ring to clothesline Antonio off the apron. The H-Squared duo are on fire! But unfortunately, H.E.R.O. gets a little too cocky and Krizz slides back into the ring and delivers a bulldog from behind. The shot stuns H.E.R.O. for a moment, but it angers him that he got too ahead of himself. The "Cali Dragon" responds with a long run of impressive moves to damage his foe. H.E.R.O. first places Krizz in the Tree of Woe on the turnbuckle, stepping back to deliver a running dropkick to his chin. He then follows up with a superplex off the top rope, his repeated chest stomps, a flying dropkick from the top and a running elbow! Desperate to change the match progression, Krizz snatches H.E.R.O. by the throat... and plants him with a chokeslam! Both men are down for a bit as the crowd cheers for the exciting match.
Krizz eventually tosses H.E.R.O. into the corner, and he performs a facebuster/dropkick double-team move with Antonio. H.E.R.O. crawls to his corner to tag in his partner, but the ECW champ runs into a pumped-up Antonio. Antonio hits a massive DDT, and tries for a pin! Luckily for Jack, his exhausted partner musters just enough energy to break the pin and keep the match alive. Antonio doesn't stop though, following up with a flying uppercut off the 2nd turnbuckle and a big back suplex. Antonio whips Hitman into the ropes, but the "Lethal Canadian" counters the running move attempt with a swinging neckbreaker! Both men are down again and this crowd is on the edge of their seats!
Both Antonio and Jack crawl slowly to their respective corners, getting tags to their fresher partners. H.E.R.O. tosses Krizz out of the ring, but Krizz counters back by pulling his unsuspecting foe's neck down onto the top rope! The move dazes H.E.R.O. and the "2 Cool" superstar slides back in to deliver a full-nelson bomb. Krizz taunts the crowd excitedly... but H.E.R.O. kips up right away! When Krizz turns back, the "Cali Dragon" lifts him onto his shoulders... and drops him with his Heart Stopper finisher! The desperation finisher sees both men down again, and they crawl to their corners for another set of tags.
Antonio dominates Hitman for a bit, but he gets a little overzealous and it costs him. After knocking Jack down, "America's Favorite" sprints over and spears H.E.R.O. off the apron! Figuring to have a chance to fight Hitman without his partner interfering, Antonio gets caught by a surprise clothesline! The ECW champ tags out to his ally, but H.E.R.O. is starting to show signs of damage from Antonio's spear. The "Mastermind" notices and goes on the offensive, knocking his foe down and scaling the closest turnbuckle. Jordan leaps off and crashes into H.E.R.O.'s chest with a flying knee drop! Antonio follows up with his signature Knee Deep, and waits patiently for the "Cali Dragon" to rise off the mat. When he down, Jordan grabs him around the shoulders... and slams him down with his American Dream finisher! Krizz stops Hitman from entering the ring, giving Antonio the time he needs to score the pin! The referee counts 1... 2... 3!!!
American Cool just defended their #1 contender spot, and they are heading to the Royal Rumble to challenge for the Tag Team Titles against Alpha & Omega! Audrey enters the ring to excitedly celebrate with her buddies, while H.E.R.O. and Hitman are distraught over losing such a good match. The crowd cheers loudly for Antonio & Krizz as the show heads to its final commercial break!

Backstage Segment
The show returns from its final pause and a clip is shown from a backstage incident that occurred during the break. Backstage, a group of Smackdown competitors are chatting about this Sunday's PPV. Guy Justice, Jester Price and the Olympic duo of Parker & Coop discuss their chances for winning the prestigious 30-man battle royal.
Justice: "I'm going to be the Ironman for sure. Everybody's doubting me... but they know the truth."
Jester: "The truth? The truth is that you're a poor Tim Tebow imitation. What religion do you even honor? The 'Justice Delusional Church'?"
Justice: "You better hope you're not in the ring when my number gets called, Jester."
Jester: "Ooh, I'm sooo scared. What are you going to do... pray me over the top rope? I COMMAND THEE TO EXIT OVER THE TOP ROPE! Ha ha!"
The former Olympians chime in.
Parker: "That would be an impressive way... "
Coop: "... to eliminate someone! I'd probably be a little... "
Parker: "... concerned if I saw that. You can't win the Rumble... "
Coop: "... by overcoming the supernatural!"
Justice and Jester glance at each other and then respond to the duo.
Jester: "What do you two know about anything 'super'? When's the last time you actually won anything?"
Justice: "Last week's win over Mack Wheeler doesn't count. Plus, a tag team can't win the Rumble anyway. One of you would have to be eliminated eventually."
Parker: "Yes, but two heads are... "
Coop: "... better than one!"
Two more Smackdown members join the conversation: the Bullet Boyz!
Craig: "That's true, Coop but you idiot Olympians don't even have enough brainpower for one person."
Tony: "Si! What a bunch of pendejos!"
Parker: "We don't appreciate your Spanish..."
Coop: "... profanity! We were having a fine conversation before... "
Parker: "... you two criminals entered the scene!"
Justice: "I wouldn't worry about them too much, Parker & Coop. They might be a more pathetic team than you. There's no way either of them are winning the Rumble."
Craig: "Oh yeah? What have you won? Hmm?"
The tension rises and the bickering begins, with all 7 men arguing incoherently. Eventually, the argument turns physical as people start shoving each other. It seems like a brawl is about to take place. But suddenly... Joseph T. Lutte enters and separates everyone before punches can fly! He shouts over everyone to calm them down. Once the bickering ends, Joseph speaks.
Joseph: "Gentlemen... this argument will not do. There's no need to fight. This whole scene is ridiculous!"
The other 7 men start to feel a little shame over their actions. They seem to come to a consensus to remain cool. But... the "Fantastic Frenchman" decides to open his mouth again.
Joseph: "Besides... you're all stupid. There's no way any of you are winning the Royal Rumble. I'm clearly the favorite! I plan on eliminating all of you by myself!"
Lutte stands in the middle with an arrogant smile, and it takes the others a moment to process. Finally... the brawl begins! All 8 men start to trades punches and it's a very chaotic scene, with various backstage items being used as weapons! The backstage crew tries desperately to separate everyone, but it looks like an impossible task as the segment ends!

MAIN EVENT:
Angus & Rusty vs.
Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black) & Zach Wesley
The episode action returns to ringside, as the night's main event is about to get underway! The World Heavyweight champ will team up with the Cruiserweight champ against Mr. Black's "Narcissist" and the "Mohawked Maniac". Angus and Eric are set to face off in a title rematch this Sunday, after the "Irish Giant" successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase a few weeks ago. GM Triple H warned Eric Executioner that, if he attacked Angus outside the confines of a sanctioned match, he would suspend the former champ and cancel the match! So far, Eric has held firm to the threat and gets to face off with Angus just days before their title battle. Zach has been a pseudo-ally of Eric's lately, and battled Angus tough in a one-on-one match last week. This occurred weeks after Zach demolished Rusty on Smackdown in a surprising squash victory. It's been an interesting development between all 4 men as the Rumble approached, so the fans are naturally buzzing with excitement!
Rusty enters first to a big cheer, as the "2 Xtreme" superfan strolls to the ring confidently. Next, the theme for Angus hits and the Memphis crowd goes crazy for the champ! He climbs into the ring and holds his belt up high, drawing another positive response from the fans. Next, Eric with Mr. Black and Wesley make separate entrances, receiving loud boos from all corners of the arena. The "Narcissist" and Rusty prepare to square off, and the ref calls for the bell!
Eric gets control early with some big punches, and follows up with a standing elbow drop and an STO. Eric smirks confidently as he stalks his prey, but he ventures too close to the opposing corner... and Angus reaches in to lock his arms up! Eric struggles but can't break free, and Rusty uses the moment to deliver a vicious chop! The Cruiserweight champ then plants Eric with a running body press, and then tags in Angus so they can perform a double-team elbow shot!
Eric wants no part of the "Irish Giant" right now, tossing him into his own corner and tagging in Zach. Wesley scales the turnbuckle, and with Eric's help, he smashes into Angus with a flying shoulder block! The World champ rallies back, countering with a big chop, a running shove and impressively swinging Zach around by the legs. The "Maniac" becomes furious and aggressive, landing a flurry of big moves on Angus. Wesley slams the champ down with an STO and follows up by slamming his head repeatedly into the mat. Next, an angry Zach clotheslines an unsuspecting Rusty off the apron! When Angus staggers to his feet, Zach delivers a huge spinebuster and then tosses his foe into the corner for a running big boot! In desperation, Angus counters with a massive uppercut and both men collapse to the mat in exhaustion for a minute!
Finally, Angus and Zach crawl to their respective corners and tag out to their partners. Rusty enters the ring and gestures towards Eric for a fight... but the "Narcissist" doesn't move from his spot. Mr. Black steps over and barks an order at Eric, who nods silently in agreement. Eric steps down off the apron, reaches below the ring... and pulls out a steel chair! The crowd begins to boo and the referee issues a very stern warning, but Eric ignores all and walks slowly around the ring towards his opponent's corner. Angus was trying to recover on the apron, but the crowd's reaction catches his attention and he looks around to figure out what's going on. Finally, the champ notices his rival approaching with a chair and a confused expression comes over his face. When Eric gets only a few feet away, Angus steps down off the apron and begins to scold and warn Eric about using the weapon. Eric stands close by but doesn't move yet. The tension begins to anger the "Irish Giant" and his warnings slowly become threats. Eric smirks and... swings the chair to smash it right over Angus' head! The World champ collapses to the floor as Eric stands over him!
A moment later, the bell sounds as the referee calls for an official DQ. Rusty climbs out of the ring, scolding Eric for the unwarranted attack, and checks on his Irish buddy. Zach realizes what happened and walks away angrily, disappointed to lose over Eric's ridiculous actions.

Post-Match Segment
The fans boo Eric viciously as he stands silently and stares at the injured Angus. Rusty continues to check on the "Irish Giant" but Angus starts to wave him off and assure him that he's okay. Mr. Black watches the scene and is just beaming with pride over his client's despicable act.
But a moment later... Triple H's music hits! Smackdown's interim GM strolls out onto the stage, looking quite perturbed. The scowl on Hunter's face starts to concern Mr. Black, and he gestures Eric over to the side of the ring where they can see better. Finally, Triple H speaks.
Triple H: "Eric... I gave you a title rematch like you requested, and I also gave you a chance to honor a request of mine: no unsanctioned attacks on Angus. It seems to be like you just broke that request. This was not a No Disqualification match; this was a standard tag team match. Winner by pinfall or submission. And that's not what happened. I feel like... I have no other choice... but to susp-"
Suddenly, Angus cuts him off.
Angus: "No, no, no, no. Whoa there, fella. Let me... stop you right there. Triple H... I know you think you're looking out for my best interests, but I didn't ask for protection. I earned the World Heavyweight Title, and I plan on defending it the best way I know possible... by FIGHTING. Aye, I'm not going to sit back and wait for my challengers to come to me. I take the fight to them. And tonight... my challenger brought the fight. And YOU said that he couldn't attack me outside the confines of a standard match. And correct me if I'm wrong, fella... but he attacked me DURING the match. I don't see anything wrong with that, besides him being a cowardly fella. I want to fight. I want to throw down with the best. And if this fella wants to use weapons, then let him use weapons. No matter what the stipulation is, I'm going to fight. Let me use all the chairs he wants. Let him use any means necessary. This Sunday... let our title rematch be... a No Disqualification match!"
The crowd cheers for the confident champ's comments, and Mr. Black is completely stunned! Did Angus really just offer to take the disqualification rule off of this Sunday's match? Meaning... either man could use extraordinary means during the match... and it's all legal?! The sinister manager takes only a second to ponder before agreeing to the stipulation. Triple H is also surprised, but honors the champ's request.
Triple H: "I don't see why you would want that... but I'll approve. This Sunday, Eric Executioner and Angus will face off in a No DQ match for the World Heavyweight Championship! I'd suggest planning a good strategy."
The crowd cheers again for the match change, and Eric looks over at his rival as he climbs slowly back to his feet. Still holding the steel chair, Eric grins and walks over. He raises the chair to swing it again... but Angus responds by snatching the ring bell and holding it opposed! Eric stops himself quickly when he spots the champ with a weapon of his own, and both men stand a few inches away with their object raised and ready. Angus looks determined, while Eric's grin becomes a fierce glare! The threatening, weapon-wielding staredown is the final image of an explosive show. What's going to happen this Sunday at the Royal Rumble PPV???
