Midnight grew up in a tough neighborhood on Long Island but spent more time flirting with the ladies than causing trouble. If you ask him, he would claim that he has been with "thousands" of women and his overconfidence almost makes you believe him. Midnight avoided the negative influences and participated in every sport he could, excelling especially in football and basketball. He earned scholarship offers from schools for both sports, but he decided that basketball was his best route with his 6'10" frame. Unfortunately, an ACL tear during his sophomore year derailed any hope of a budding career. His competitive drive led him to try another sport, and through a reference discovered wrestling. His large frame and natural athletic abilities lent themselves perfectly to a career in the squared circle and it only took 8 months of dominating a local New York independent circuit, including a 5-month heavyweight title reign, for WWE to come calling. Midnight entered the developmental ranks but his "ladies' man" gimmick grew old fast with the fans. He got the call up to the main shows but was kidnapped and brainwashed by the evil leader that also claimed DMK, Tank Blazer and Dylan Dynamite. Shawn and DMK formed a impressive tag team but found himself caught in the middle when DMK started to break away. He found his loyalties to both the evil stable and to his tag team partner strained, but when the stable presented him with an ultimatum - purposely lose the Tag titles and turn on DMK - Shawn finally decided to stay loyal to DMK and broke free of the stable. When DMK beat the evil leader at Wrestlemania to dissolve the stable, Shawn also claimed the U.S. title and their new team held all the power. Not bad for a former stud athlete who can't take his eyes off of the females! Career Overview Year 1: Began the year in a state of power on the Raw brand... The surprise attack started a feud between them, which led to a Hardcore Title match... At the Night of Champions PPV, Mack defeated Shawn after a tough battle to win the belt... Shawn's jealousy pushed him to seek a rematch, but the "Human Semi" again won to retain the title at the Summerslam PPV... Was indirectly involved with various foes throughout the next months... Was named as the final member of Team Raw for a 6-man tag match at Survivor Series alongside Travis Roarke and Anarchy... At the PPV, Shawn abandoned his team and allowed Team Smackdown to score a sweep victory... Defeated Roarke in a match a few weeks later on Raw to settle their issues over Shawn's actions... At the Royal Rumble PPV, Shawn entered the 30-man match at #21 but was eliminated by Carson Pain & H.E.R.O....
