Let's begin this tale way back in time to when Rusty was just a young boy growing up in the suburbs of Chicago. Even when he was little, Rusty adored pro wrestlers and mimicked every move in the backyard in hopes of one day having a chance to become one himself. But after graduating high school, Rusty found himself short in two ways - money and size. He could barely make enough money to support himself, let alone pay for wrestling training lessons. Second, Rusty was a small, squatty normal-sized kid with average athletic ability, making him an unlikely candidate to even make it through a wrestling camp. So Rusty put off his dreams for awhile, but remained connected to the ongoing WWE storylines and matches. Finally, Rusty decided enough was enough and that if he couldn't pay for training lessons and go through the regular path to WWE superstardom, he was going to find a more creative way. Rusty packed up what he could carry, gathered up the last of his money, quit his job and hit the road. What he wanted to do was travel to nearly every WWE show, sneak past security and slowly emerge himself into the WWE culture. As Rusty discovered, this idea actually wasn't hard to execute. But once he began to get inside, the devoted fan inside him started to get him into trouble. He started stalking his favorite WWE superstars, which led to him being escorted off the premises multiple times. One star in particular, a main-event ranking face character, got very bothered by Rusty's constant presence but found his attempts to stalk amusing. Slowly, he began to give Rusty tips about promos, in-ring moves, etc. and basically took him under his wing. But Rusty was still not truly welcomed in the WWE according to officials, so this student-teacher relationship was kept in secret. In one shocking moment, Rusty was able to finally achieve his dream. His mentor was in the ring giving a promo and arguing with his rival, when he was ambushed by the rival's stablemates. Rusty, who was in the crowd enjoying the show, jumped over the barricade in act of rage and fought off the rival and his stable. His mentor was shocked when he shook off the cobwebs and saw Rusty standing proud in the ring and the crowd going wild. He raised Rusty's hand and at that moment, he had officially convinced WWE officials that he was worthy of a contract. Finally, Rusty had reached his boyhood dream and he worked hard to become a better in-ring performer. He eventually teamed up with the mentor's other young trainee, Krizz Torture, to form the 2 Cool 2 Xtreme tag team and together they began to make a serious impact around the WWE. He may be "Xtreme" but he's really just your "Average Joe"... and inspires many others who want to achieve their dreams.
