October through December
Year 2
October
With autumn chilling the air, the Raw brand had overall tension that was heating things up! The Bragging Rights PPV was going to close out the month, and it needed a big main event to close out the show. Raw GM Stephanie McMahon and Smackdown GM Teddy Long worked together to come up with an exciting match: 3 of the best from each brand, including the top champions, would face off in a 6-man battle! To make things even more interesting, they decided to put all 6 guys in a dangerous environment: the Hell in a Cell!
The stipulations were clear: if a challenger won the match, then they would earn a title match for their respective brand's top title at Survivor Series. If either champion came out on top, then they would get to choose their challenger for a title defense at Survivor Series. Everybody had a personal investment, and the stakes couldn't have been higher!
Stephanie naturally picked WWE champ DMK, but had to identify two other legit challengers to throw into the fire. After a brutal and nail-biting title match at the end of last month's PPV, Stephanie decided to give Tank Blazer another crack at DMK! The "King" was furious that he would have to face off against the "Captain" again, while Tank was determined to outlast all to get another title shot. Later in the month, Stephanie made the other choice and it seemed designed to infuriate the current champ. The Raw GM picked the "Party Animal" and the man who DMK betrayed: Renegade! Renegade quickly re-established himself as a major threat and it seemed like DMK's reign was in danger!
In other developments, U.S. champ David Degenerate had successfully defended his title against former champ Rebel Ford last month. But as October began, other challengers quickly emerged. Carson Pain, who had already developed a little rivalry with David, and Shawn Midnight demanded chances to take on the "Dangerous Genius". At Summerslam, they had competed in the 4-way Ladder match for the U.S. Title where David had won the title, and they wanted another chance at taking the flag-branded belt away. Carson and Shawn couldn't separate themselves and David was getting impatient trying to determine who he was going to face off against. So instead, Stephanie McMahon decided on not picking one guy... she chose both challengers and made a Triple Threat match! David was furious, but Carson and Shawn were not on friendly terms either. Despite the highly-anticipated main event, this match was predicted to be a possible show stealer!
The Hardcore Title scene had been a back-and-forth, violent battle between Big Mutha Trucker and Travis Roarke for the past few months. In August, the "Assassin" pulled an upset over Trucker to win the title, but the "Resident Redneck" got payback at last month's PPV and took the belt back. The rivals agreed to end their feud at Bragging Rights in an unofficial tiebreaker match. Fans of this division were wondering if Trucker could stay on top or if Travis would make himself the new Hardcore dominator!
Bragging Rights was billed as a battle between the brands, and 2 more PPV matches were planned to give each brand a chance to show supremacy. Two Team Smackdown vs. Team Raw matches were scheduled, where a 6-man tag match for the men and a tag match for the women would show which brand had the deepest roster! First, Raw was going to feature their newest rookie who had just debuted this month: H.E.R.O.! The athletic youngster would team up with Rebel Ford and Brett Diamond to represent Raw against Smackdown's American Cool and Guy Justice. In the women's tag match, rivals Michelle McCool and Melina would be forced to team up and represent the red brand. They had just battled last month over the Divas' Title, but Stephanie ordered them to find a way to work together. The tension was high, but they reluctantly agreed to give Smackdown's Eve & Natalya all they could handle!

November
The calendar turned to November and two huge feuds kept the fans' attention throughout the month. The biggest one was related to the WWE Title and DMK's current reign, which had passed the 3-month mark. The "King" was furious after taking the loss in the 6-man Hell in a Cell match at Bragging Rights, and although he didn't lose his title, he was ready to take out his anger on somebody. Early in the month, he and Shawn Midnight crossed paths and the conversation that ensued was not very amicable. The former Hell United stablemates clearly had some unfinished business, and with both men angry from their recent PPV losses, a heated argument with plenty of insults took place. The following week, the frustrations bubbling below the surface broke through and DMK attacked Shawn backstage! The WWE champ tried to put Shawn out of commission, but "Daddy Mack" managed to recover quickly. Shawn had a burning desire to prove himself as a main event star while also getting some revenge, and a WWE Title match was made! DMK and Shawn continued to battle violently throughout the month, and they decided to make the PPV match even more intense... by planning an Inferno match! The metaphor of extinguishing the flames of their feud while surrounded by a ring of flames made the most sense, and fans were excited to see who would hold Raw's top title by the end of the PPV!
The other major rivalry development was another slow-building battle over the U.S. Title. David Degenerate and Carson Pain had been indirectly feuding since "The Original" debuted on Raw back in April, but they had yet to face off one-on-one in a major match. The final straw came after the U.S. Title Triple Threat match at last month's Bragging Rights PPV, when champ David attacked Carson after he retained his title in controversial fashion. Carson suffered some minor injuries from David's attack, but was ruled eligible to compete at the Survivor Series PPV. Carson challenged David to a 1-on-1 title match, and the "Dangerous Genius" vowed to leave Carson in the same bruised and broken condition he left him in last month!
In other title news, Raw's Lee Money challenged Cruiserweight champ Tommy Parker to a title match at the beginning of the month. "Cash" seemed to have control of the match, and Parker started to panic. Mid-match, the champ exited the ring and didn't come back. Lee was just as a confused as the referee, but Parker's walkout gave him a countout loss but allowed him to retain the title! Feeling angry and disrespected, Lee demanded and earned a rematch for an episode of Superstars later in the month. "Cash" made the most of his second chance, and upset Parker to capture the Cruiserweight Championship!
Big Mutha Trucker, fresh off his Hardcore Title defense over Travis Roarke at Bragging Rights, developed a little feud with Rebel Ford. Rebel, the former U.S. champ, wanted to capitalize off his Bragging Rights win and took his first foray into the Hardcore division. But despite being a little bit more athletic than the "Resident Redneck", he was unable to withstand the punishment of the extreme match style. In a title defense towards the end of the month, Trucker easily defeated Rebel and badly injured the challenger. A few days later, it was revealed that Rebel had suffered a major injury and would be out of action for a few months!

December
The weather may have been getting colder as December approached, but the Raw brand was only starting to heat up! Once again, two major developments had the red brand's fans giddy and excited, while a tag team joined forces again and quickly made themselves a threat in the title race.
DMK defended his WWE Title successfully at Survivor Series, outlasting former ally Shawn Midnight in an Inferno Match. Despite being champ for 4 months, DMK still had a lot of anger towards anybody he encountered. This anger was directed in multiple directions this month, and it led to the "King" having to defend his title against two rivals!
First, DMK got into an altercation with Lee Money backstage during a Raw show. The new Cruiserweight champ taunted DMK a bit, but instead of taking it in stride, the "King" responded in a physical manner! DMK claimed he was getting revenge for "Cash" saving Renegade from a post-match attack following the WWE Title match at Summerslam, and the WWE champ fought Lee in the hallway and left him hurt and unconscious! When Renegade found out, the "Party Animal" was furious and vowed to get retribution for DMK's unnecessary aggression. Renegade challenged DMK to a title match, hoping to win back the belt and defend his friend's honor, and even decided to make it an Extreme Rules style match!
Later in the month, DMK's anger got him in trouble again. The champ was walking past the GM office, and overhead Shawn Midnight complaining to Mr. McMahon himself. Shawn was looking for bigger opportunities, especially after battling DMK so close at last month's PPV. DMK burst in and tried to put those plans to rest, which upset Shawn. Instead of a simple war of words... the two rivals decided to use the GM office as their own battleground! DMK and Shawn had a violent brawl right in front of Stephanie, and eventually they went crashing through her desk! Offended and stunned by their actions, the WWE executive decided to make DMK's title challenge with Renegade even more difficult... by adding Shawn to the match! The WWE Title would now be fought over in a Triple Threat match, and DMK facing off against his two biggest and most dangerous foes!
The other title feud involved the U.S. Title and new champ Carson Pain! "The Original" pulled off a huge upset at Survivor Series, forcing David Degenerate to tap out and giving Carson his first title reign as a member of Raw! Carson was naturally bursting with confidence after the win, and was all smiles when he appeared at Raw. But when the new champ left the show, David attacked him in the parking lot! The angry "Genius" wanted his rematch and decided to send a message in a brutal way. Carson came back the following week and agreed to the match, and added a simple stipulation... a TLC match to for the namesake PPV!
Divas' champ Melina had been dominating the women's scene on the Raw brand for months, but she had to deal with a new threat... Maryse! The French starlet seemed to worry the champ, but Melina vowed to bring her best at the upcoming PPV!
The Tag Team Title had been a focus on Smackdown for months, but a team from the red brand decided to change that. Tank Blazer and Hardcore champ Big Mutha Trucker had been Tag Team champs before, but each of them had focused on individual feuds for a while. But with Trucker dominating the Hardcore division and Tank looking for some title action after an unsuccessful bid to win the WWE Title, they decided to re-form their tag team and make some noise! Tank & Trucker quickly moved up the tag team ranks, knocking off Smackdown pairs one by one as the month progressed. Finally at the end of the month, the Badass Coalition duo beat the Bullet Boyz to earn the #1 contendership! They were scheduled to face the champs Billy Carter & Zach Wesley at TLC, and to make things even more interesting... it was turned into a Ladder match!
