July through September
Year 1
July
As the calendar turned to July and the summer heat raged on, the members of the Raw brand continued to battle. WWE champ DMK retained at The Bash PPV with a hard-fought win over Big Mutha Trucker, but the feud between Hell United and the Badass Coalition remained at the forefront. Instead of focusing on DMK's WWE Title, the Badass Coalition decided to challenge for Hell United's Tag Team Titles. Big Mutha Trucker and Tank Blazer represented the stable and managed to string together enough wins to become the new #1 contenders. DMK remained confident that he and Shawn Midnight could keep their advantage over their rivals, but some subtle hints of miscommunication were developing between the champs. On the "go home" show of the month, the Badass Coalition trio of Trucker, Tank and David Degenerate defeated DMK, Shawn and Corey Youngblood in a 6-man main event tag match. It was clear during the match that DMK and Shawn were not on the same page, as a missed punch by DMK struck Shawn in a pivotal moment and led to the loss. The big question as the PPV approached was whether DMK and Shawn could find their teamwork again or lose a large hold of power on the red brand.
Another big development featured a major announcement by Vince McMahon himself at the beginning of the month. Needing something to reward different types of wrestlers on the roster, the WWE Chairman announced that he would be reinstating the Hardcore, Cruiserweight and ECW Championships at the Night of Champions PPV. The Hardcore Title would be exclusive to the Raw brand, while the ECW Title would belong to Smackdown. Both titles would feature hardcore, Extreme Rules or other gimmick match types to prove who would be the "toughest" man on each brand. The Cruiserweight Title would represent the lighter and more agile members of the WWE roster. Light-heavyweight wrestlers from both rosters will compete for the title. Fans were excited to see who the newest champions would be.
Throughout the month, qualifying matches were held to determine spots in the reinstated title matches scheduled for the PPV. The Hardcore Title was going to be decided in a Fatal 4-Way Extreme Rules match, and the following men earned spots in the match: Renegade, Vincent Serum, Hitman Jack and Antonio Jordan. Renegade and Hitman Jack were still feuding over their tag team breakup, while Antonio Jordan was itching to prove himself a champion after failing to reclaim the U.S. Title in June. The wild card in the match was Serum, as the "Vicious Vampire" had no allegiances to any opponent in the match but proved himself a threat.
The Cruiserweight Title also held qualifying matches, although any light-heavyweight grappler from either brand was eligible. The reinstated title would be contested in a 6-man battle royal, so there were many spots available but no guarantee for anybody. In the end, only 2 Raw members earned spots in the 6-man title match. Badass Coalition member Dylan Dynamite and "Little Hellraiser" Anarchy earned chances to compete for the new title, and it was going to be a high-flying battle!

August
As the summer raged on, the biggest news as a new month began is the breakup of Hell United. Shawn Midnight betrayed DMK in their Tag Team Championship match against Big Mutha Trucker & Tank Blazer at Night of Champions, stunning the crowd and allowing the Badass Coalition to score a huge title win. Shawn cut off all ties with the WWE Champion, claiming in an interview that he was sick of being overlooked and wanted to forge his own path. Distraught and confused, DMK seemed outnumbered by the rival faction. But luckily for DMK, 2 new allies emerged quickly and joined the "King" in his quest to keep the Badass Coalition out of full power. Antonio Jordan, who had recently been feuding with U.S. champ and Badass Coalition leader David Degenerate, and Corey Youngblood approached DMK and offered to join forces. The WWE champ was honored to have "America's Favorite" and the former hockey player by his side, and they continued to feud with their rivals throughout the month. The new trio were referred to as Good As Hell and prepared to fight in a main-event 6-man tag match at the Summerslam PPV.
The new Good As Hell stable had their hands full with their rivalry against Badass Coalition, but another alliance formed and identified the new fan-favorite group as their targets. Renegade had been struggling to gain some momentum until he witnessed the debut of a new superstar... Rebel Ford! The rebellious rookie and the party animal got on the same page from the start, ready to revolutionize the WWE. To commemorate their partnership, Renegade & Rebel named themselves Theory of Revolution. With members of the Badass Coalition distracted, leader David D. seemed like he might be on his own against the new Good As Hell team. But to fill the gap, Theory of Revolution stepped up and supported the U.S. champ. Renegade & Rebel saw the Good As Hell group as just another old school, boring group of goody-two-shoes. As a result, Good As Hell challenged David D. & Theory of Revolution to a tag team match at Summerslam and prepared to prove their new strength against the U.S. champ and the rebellious duo.
The reason why David Degenerate was left on his own to battle Good As Hell was because the new Tag Team champs had a new #1 contender on their tails and Dylan Dynamite was ready to challenge for the newly-reinstated Cruiserweight Title. Big Mutha Trucker & Tank Blazer were proud of their title win despite the controversy surrounding it, but their reign was immediately challenged by Smackdown's Bullet Boyz. The foster-brother duo completed their climb up the tag team rankings and became the new #1 contenders. Craig & Tony developed a rivalry with Trucker & Tank, and a title match was made for Summerslam.
The other big news from the month came out of the Divas' Title rivalry between champ Melina and Eve Torres. The Hollywood starlet and Eve sparred both verbally and physically in the lead-up to their scheduled Summerslam title match.

September
As the calendar turned to September, fans of Monday Night Raw were stunned to see one of their worst nightmares: the Badass Coalition in full power, with each member of the stable holding a title belt! At the Summerslam PPV, Big Mutha Trucker & Tank Blazer outlasted the Bullet Boyz in a Ladder match to retain their Tag Team Titles while Dylan Dynamite captured the Cruiserweight Title in a 6-man battle royal. Along with David Degenerate's U.S. Title, the entire group had a prominent championship. The Coalition was gloating and bragging right after the PPV, but Summerslam was not all glorious for them. In the main event 6-man tag match, the Good As Hell team defeated David D. and Theory of Revolution and left the U.S. champ angry. David was pleased that his group had title power, but he wanted to re-focus on defeating DMK, Antonio Jordan & Corey Youngblood. The group tried to damage their rivals by attacking and injuring Corey Youngblood backstage, but it ended up backfiring. And instead of continuing to battle the group, his champion teammates kept their eyes on their own individual title battles. David turned his attention to DMK and attempted to earn a title shot, but he fell short in a #1 contender's match against Hitman Jack.
Speaking of the "Lethal Canadian", he had a huge month as he was involved in several key moments. First of all, he entered the month as the reigning Hardcore Champion. But the night after Summerslam, he had a title defense against Antonio Jordan, former partner Renegade, Shawn Midnight and Big Mutha Trucker in a Scramble match. Despite having a good showing, Antonio Jordan scored a late pinfall and won the match to capture the title. Despite his disappointment over losing the belt, Hitman made a surprising appearance the following week. Earlier in that show, the Badass Coalition attacked Corey Youngblood backstage and left the former hockey player injured and unable to participate in a 6-man tag match in the main event. This left the Good As Hell stable, with WWE champ DMK and new Hardcore champ Antonio Jordan, at a disadvantage against their rival group. Instead of going into a 3-on-2 handicap match, DMK and Antonio revealed a shocking new partner... Hitman Jack! Hitman joined the fight against the Badass Coalition, and assisted DMK & Antonio in pulling off a huge win.
The following week, DMK & Antonio asked Hitman Jack if he would like to join their stable with Youngblood on the mend. Hitman agreed to align himself with them but received even bigger news soon after. Raw GM Stephanie McMahon announced that a #1 contender's match for DMK's WWE Title would be between David D. and Hitman Jack that night. Jack seemed pulled between his new loyalty to the Good As Hell group and a chance to challenge for the top Raw title. Despite that, Hitman Jack had a great match against the determined U.S. champ and outlasted him to win the match and earn the title shot against DMK. The following week, a weird feeling was evident between DMK and his supposed new ally/challenger. Things got even more awkward when Steph announced that the title match would be held inside the dangerous Hell in a Cell, making the strange friend vs. friend title match an intriguing mystery. Fans were wondering how DMK and Hitman would be able to fight fairly in the cell while maintaining their new friendship.
In other Raw news, a inter-promotional trade took place as a member of Smackdown was shipped over to the red brand. Brett Diamond, after forging a new alliance with Shawn Midnight, was officially sent over to the Raw brand. Brett and Shawn formed a new tag team under the Playas In Most Perfect Stature name (P.I.M.P.S. for short) and started making some headway in the tag team division.
The Badass Coalition members started to focus on their own titles while David struggled to earn a WWE Title match. The Tag Team champs felt confident after retaining their titles at Summerslam, but the 2 Cool 2 Xtreme duo prepared to challenge Trucker & Tank at the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. Krizz Torture & Rusty beat the Bullet Boyz to become the new #1 contenders, and developed a rivalry against the champs. The 4th member of the stable, Cruiserweight champ Dylan Dynamite, was pleased to have won his belt at Summerslam, but his reign did not last through the month. On the final Smackdown of the month, Dylan defended his title in a Fatal 4-Way. Despite the favorite to win, Craig Bullet pinned one of the other challengers to win the title and end Dylan's reign.
The Theory of Revolution team of Renegade and rookie Rebel Ford gained another ally, and it's one with a title... and female! Divas' champ Melina didn't seem like one to join a growing rebellion, but she decided that Renegade & Rebel's message was enough for her to join them.
