January through March
Year 1
January
A new calendar year began and the WWE was getting excited for the upcoming Royal Rumble. On Raw, the biggest news was the plight of David Degenerate to rebuild the Badass Coalition's status. The "Dangerous Genius" suffered a stunning U.S. Title loss to Hitman Jack at the TLC PPV, putting a huge dent in his stable's desire to dominate the red brand. Since each member held a title in September, the Coalition was only left with Big Mutha Trucker's Hardcore Title as January began. David D. decided to put his full focus on the WWE Title, re-igniting his long feud with champ Antonio Jordan. David exercised his rematch clause and battled with Antonio all month, making fans curious to see which power group would hold Raw's top title after the Royal Rumble PPV.
The Bagass Coalition took another hit during the 2nd week of the month, as Trucker's Hardcore Title reign came to an abrupt end. After feuding with Shawn Midnight, the "Resident Redneck" fell short in a title defense and "Daddy Mack" scored a huge win for the P.I.M.P.S. trio. It was Midnight's first singles' title since losing the U.S. Title back in April, and he, Brett Diamond & Lee Money threw a celebration near the end of the month.
New U.S. champ Hitman Jack was very proud to pull off the huge title win at TLC, and he seemed to be relieved that David was choosing to turn his attention to the WWE Title. But the "Lethal Canadian" was not going to get away with a defense-free month, as a new challenger emerged. Rebel Ford made his quick ascent up the rankings and earned a title match against Hitman. The rebellious rookie was ready to represent his popular Theory of Revolution group, and possibly bring home a big accomplishment.
As the Rumble approached, several battle royals were held to promote the upcoming 30-man battle royal and give some a chance to prove themselves a threat. DMK, Shawn Midnight, Renegade and Tank Blazer each scored victories and seemed to increase their odds of pulling out the win and putting themselves into the WrestleMania main event.

February
Following a thrilling Royal Rumble PPV, the month of February had some higher expectations to meet. With the announcement of two Elimination Chamber matches at the next PPV for the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles, fans were giddy to see who could qualify for one of the 5 available spots opposite WWE champ Antonio Jordan. One of the stories to follow was David Degenerate's quest to get a spot in the Chamber match. After losing his rematch to Antonio and getting eliminated quickly in the Royal Rumble match, the "Dangerous Genius" was purposefully overlooked by Raw GM Stephanie McMahon. She claimed that David wasn't worthy of another rematch, and was focused on finding a new legitimate challenger for Antonio's title.
After David demanded a chance at qualifying for the Chamber, Steph instead announced a 6-man battle royal, not including him, during the first Raw episode of the month. DMK outlasted Big Mutha Trucker, Hitman Jack, Renegade, Shawn Midnight and Brett Diamond to earn the first spot against his Good As Hell stablemate. Next week on Raw, Renegade won an exciting Table match against Trucker, Shawn & Tank Blazer to earn a spot, while Shawn defeated Tank in an Extreme Rules match on Thursday's Superstars episode to claim spot #3. David again voiced his desire to have a shot at the Chamber, but Steph instead made a 3-way bout between Trucker, Brett Diamond & Vincent Serum. The "Resident Redneck" pulled out the huge win, putting at least one member of the Badass Coalition into the WWE Title match, and leaving only 1 spot available. On the final Raw show of the month, David again approached Steph to ask for any chance. Annoyed, Steph reluctantly decided to give David a chance but assigned him one of the most difficult matches available... a Gauntlet match! Steph told David that if he was able to defeat 3 already-qualified grapplers (Shawn Midnight, Renegade & DMK) in back-to-back-to-back matches, then the "Genius" would be able to compete in the Chamber match. Despite the long odds against him, David used some underhanded tactics to survive each bout, including pinning DMK with a leveraged roll-up, to beat the challenge and earn the final spot in the WWE Title match!
With most of the Raw roster focused on earning a spot in the Chamber, there was only a few other stories to follow. A major one happened after Hitman Jack's failed attempt to qualify in the first week's battle royal. Disappointed that he couldn't get another chance at the WWE Title, the "Lethal Canadian" and reigning U.S. champ could take solace in the fact that he successfully defended his belt against Rebel Ford at the Royal Rumble PPV. But the rebellious rookie talked trash to his rival, calling him out for not earning a WWE Title shot. Hitman took offense to the comments, and turned his attention back to Rebel. The feud between them got quite physical and Rebel wanted another shot at Hitman's U.S. belt. The champ agreed and geared him for a ferocious battle!
With the emergence of new teams like Good As Hell, Theory of Revolution and P.I.M.P.S., it made for a very crowded tag team division. Vincent Serum & Anarchy had been battling for respect for months, but they could never seem to string together enough wins to rise up the rankings. Frustrated, the duo started to show signs of a fallout. After losing to Brett Diamond & Lee Money, emotions boiled over... and Serum & Anarchy got into a post-match brawl! Officials had to come out and separate them, and it was revealed soon after that they were no longer a team!

March
With WrestleMania season in full swing, there was several big developments as the year's headlining PPV approached. The biggest news of all was the WWE Title picture, especially after the stunning ending of the Elimination Chamber PPV. Antonio Jordan entered the show's main event as the defending champ but was eliminated midway through, leaving the crowd buzzing over who would be the new champ. Fans were initially hoping for DMK to reclaim the title for the Good As Hell stable, but the "King" couldn't overcome a 2-on-1 disadvantage and was eliminated. That left 2 members of the Badass Coalition, Big Mutha Trucker and David Degenerate, to vie for Raw's top title. After a tough battle, David emerged victorious over his ally and walked out of the PPV with his 2nd WWE Title reign!
David appeared very confident and pleased to win the title, although beating Trucker seemed to cause a slight kink in their relationship. But Antonio wanted to exercise his rematch clause, which gave the "Dangerous Genius" a formidable foe. But during the course of the month, Renegade began to make some serious headway up the rankings, culminating in an upset of Antonio in a main event match. This gave Renegade the right to also challenge for David's title, and Raw GM Stephanie McMahon announced a Triple Threat match for WrestleMania! To spruce up the already exciting encounter, she decided to add a stipulation to the match... by putting all 3 men inside the brutal Hell in a Cell structure! Tensions increased sharply following her decision, and David, Antonio & Renegade engaged in physical and mental warfare in the buildup to the title match!
Another shocking title change at Elimination Chamber created a different yet thrilling story on the route to WrestleMania. Rebellious rookie Rebel Ford did his Theory of Revolution stable proud by upsetting Hitman Jack to claim his 1st U.S. Title, only 7 months after his debut. Naturally, Hitman wanted to fight back for a chance at a rematch. But a big breakdown within the P.I.M.P.S. group put another challenger into the feud, and made it a 3-way dance. Brett Diamond, frustrated over his lack of opportunities while his partners get their title shots, decided to break away from the trio and make his own opportunity. After making his way up the ranks and interjecting into Hitman & Rebel's rivalry, Brett made a legit claim to challenge for Rebel's U.S. Title. So, another Triple Threat title match was made for WrestleMania and fans were curious to see if the rookie could overcome his two opponents on the grandest stage!
Speaking of the P.I.M.P.S. team, the 2 remaining members had eventful months outside of Brett leaving the group. First, rookie Lee Money pulled off a huge upset on the first Raw episode of the month, beating Rusty to claim his 1st Cruiserweight Title! Rusty was shocked that his 2nd reign as champ came to an end, and feuded with "Cash" for weeks in hopes of a rematch. But days before WrestleMania, Lee retained his title against the "2 XTreme" superfan and proved his worth. Meanwhile, Shawn Midnight entered the month as reigning Hardcore champ. But during the second Raw show, he battled Big Mutha Trucker in a title match. Trucker, riding the momentum of his near WWE Title win at Elimination Chamber, beat Shawn to claim his 2nd Hardcore Title! Midnight battled the "Resident Redneck" for the next few weeks, but a rematch on the final episode of the month again left Trucker victorious and still champion. Overall, it was a bittersweet month for P.I.M.P.S. and questions still remained if Lee & Shawn could survive as a team.
In a minor news nugget, Hitman Jack not only was focused on reclaiming his U.S. Title but he found a new ally along the way. Vincent Serum, rebounding off the breakup of his alliance with Anarchy, joined forces with the "Lethal Canadian" and assisted him in his rivalry with Rebel Ford and Brett Diamond. It seemed like an odd couple pairing, but a tag team victory during the month confirmed their prowess as a duo.
And finally, the last WrestleMania storyline to follow was the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match. Three members each from Raw and Smackdown would qualify for their chance at the coveted briefcase, guaranteeing the victor a title match at any time. Anarchy and Tank Blazer earned a shot at the briefcase by winning qualifying matches. DMK claimed the third spot in the match, but felt he needed to truly prepare himself for the battle ahead. Why not create a mini-feud with another member of the match, from across promotions? Ace, the former World Heavyweight and Intercontinental champ himself, qualified for the ladder match and got into a heated war of words with the "King". DMK and Ace held several tuneup matches against each other, with each increasing in difficulty and violence as the month wore on. Their first battle ended in a double-countout draw, while the second was a backstage brawl where both men were left beaten and bruised. Finally, just days before WrestleMania, DMK pinned Ace in an Extreme Rules match to give himself the edge heading into Sunday's big event!
