Personal Background
Master Kimoto is a mystery to many, but it is believed that he is the head trainer at a secret Japanese wrestling academy. He is known to have trained the luchador tag team of Alpha & Omega, and has relocated to the U.S. in order to manage his prized pupils. Legend has it that Kimoto was a long-time Japanese wrestling champion, but it is unknown where he honed his craft and what type of training exercises he puts his students through. Legend also has it that despite his age, Kimoto can still hold his own in the ring. So opponents better watch out, and be wise not to challenge the ageless skills of Master Kimoto.
Career Overview
Year 3:
Made his debut in August and took his former pupils Alpha & Omega under his wing again... He announced that he had "re-trained" the Japanese duo and they re-emerged on Raw in impressive fashion... They rattled off multiple tag team victories and slowly climbed the ranks... In November, they requested a Tag Team Title match against the Bullet Boyz, but Craig & Tony ruined it by taking a deliberate DQ... In a shocking moment, the champs attempted to attack Master Kimoto, but he responded by beating them down in self-defense... Later in the month, they earned another title match and Alpha & Omega won the Tag Team Titles at the Survivor Series PPV... In December, the Bullet Boyz attacked the Japanese duo multiple times and demanded a rematch, but Alpha & Omega defended the titles on the final episode of Raw... In January, the Japanese duo retained their titles against American Cool at the Royal Rumble PPV... In February, the Tag Team champs waited patiently as a new #1 contender emerged in the form of Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O.... The challengers wanted to face Alpha & Omega in singles matches before the proposed title match, which they agreed to if they moved the title match to the episode of Raw after Elimination Chamber... H.E.R.O. attacked Hitman Jack and turned heel to force a breakup, putting the title match in jeopardy... On that particular episode of Raw, Hitman Jack showed up and agreed to fulfill the title match despite it turning into a 2-on-1 Handicap match... Alpha & Omega won to retain but barely and Master Kimoto forced them to be absent from shows for a while as a result of their weaknesses shown against the "Lethal Canadian"... In March, Rebel Ford & Ace became the new contenders for the Tag Team Titles... On the final Smackdown of the month, Alpha & Omega put their titles on the line but seem to struggle against the superstar duo... Master Kimoto ordered Alpha to illegally use the title belt as a weapon, but accidentally struck the referee and caused a DQ loss for the champions, which allowed them to retain the titles in cheap fashion
