Backstage Segment
The cameras roll backstage in the locker room, where we see the American Cool trio warming up. The mood is tense as Intercontinental champ Antonio Jordan eyes his partner Krizz Torture repeatedly. Audrey Vega seems like she is trying to diffuse the tense situation with her calm and happy presence but it just doesn't seem to be working. Next up, Antonio and Krizz will battle the G.L.O.W. team for Antonio's title in a rare tag match with a singles title on the line. Last week in a preview match against their European rivals, a miscommunication between them led to Quinn Cadbury scoring the upset pinfall on Antonio. Could Antonio's title be in jeopardy over a simple act of jealousy?
The silence finally breaks when the "Mastermind" addresses the issue at hand.
Antonio: "Yo Krizz... we gotta talk about this before we go out there."
Krizz: "What's up?"
Antonio: "I'm just gonna be straight-up honest with you. I'm a little worried you're gonna turn on me."
Krizz: "Turn on you?"
Antonio: "Yeah man. Last Friday gave me a pretty good idea about where your loyalties lie. If we couldn't communicate in that simple tag match, then how are we going to work tonight when my Intercontinental Title is actually on the line?"
Krizz: "Well... I understand your concerns but I don't think you're viewing it from my angle either. I haven't had a serious title opportunity in over a year. The last time I was even in the Intercontinental Title conversation was 2 years ago. I've been working hard. It's about time I get back into contender status."
Antonio: "Dude, I totally see your point... but at the same time, I'm the current titleholder. And I plan on being the titleholder for a while. I just don't see how we could truly get along if you're gunning for my belt all of a sudden."
Krizz: "Well... at the end of the day, I'm still going to be your friend. No matter what. But to be honest... if there's a chance for me to win the Intercontinental Title tonight, I'm going to take it."
Antonio and Krizz share a tense stare for a moment. Finally, Audrey breaks the mood.
Audrey: "Guys, guys! Are we honestly going to fight each other over this? You two have to WORK TOGETHER tonight! If you don't, then neither of you will leave with the Intercontinental Title."
The staredown breaks and both Antonio and Krizz look up at Audrey. They glance at each other and their expressions soften.
Krizz: "She's right, man. I'm thinking selfishly. We do need to work together tonight."
Antonio: "Yeah dude. No matter what happens, we need to vow that neither of those douchebag Europeans wins tonight. At least if you do win, the title will still remain in our possession."
Krizz: "I can get on board with that. Let's finish up our warmup and get ready. I'm sick of dealing with those snobby idiots, and it ends tonight!"
The men quickly return to stretching as Audrey nods happily. The two partners slap hands as the segment comes to a close.

Pre-Match Segment
The camera switches to the backstage area, where we see Rebel Ford loosening up and heading towards the stage. His girlfriend, Women's champ Eve, is trailing a few steps behind. Rebel seems pretty focused for his match next against Eric Executioner for the World Heavyweight Title. Eve, though, looks pretty worried and is walking very nervously and cautiously. Rebel stops short of the curtains, bounces a bit and stretches some more. He then turns around to look at Eve and notices the distraught expression on her face.
Rebel: "Eve... what's the matter?"
Eve's eyes dance back and forth as she stares longingly at Rebel. She pauses for a moment, then takes a deep breath and responds.
Eve: "Rebel... I'm not going out there tonight."
Rebel: "What? Why not?"
Eve: "I... I just don't want to be at ringside."
Rebel: "Eve, everything is going to be all right. Don't worry."
Eve: "I'm sorry Rebel, but I just can't go out there. I'm... I'm too afraid of... what might happen."
Rebel: "What might happen? What are you talking about?"
Eve again looks deeply into Rebel's eyes, and Rebel's confused scowl takes over his face. Rebel waits for a response, but when Eve doesn't he continues.
Rebel: "Eve... it's going to be okay. I promise you. I'm going to go out there, stand toe-to-toe with that beatable brute, ignore that skinny little creep alongside him... and win back that title. And I'm going to make sure that neither of them bother you again."
Rebel reaches out to lightly touch Eve's arm, but the Women's champ subtlely backs away to avoid contact. Rebel is confused again and looks at Eve's frightened eyes.
Rebel: "Do you... do you not trust me? I'm going to get the job done tonight. You don't have to worry about them anymore. Don't you trust me?"
Eve bites her lip slightly and gives Rebel a concerned look. She doesn't directly answer his question, but responds in a hushed tone.
Eve: "Good luck, Rebel..."
Eve turns and quickly dashes away. Rebel reaches out for her but she is already too far. Rebel watches her walk away with a confused look, but after a few moments that confusion transforms into an angry, frustrated expression. Rebel shakes off the weird mood and heads into the stage curtains.
