Year 2
Extreme Rules Match:
Eric Executioner vs. Mack Wheeler
The partnership between these two ended violently last month when Eric E. attacked the "Human Semi" during a backstage segment at the Survivor Series PPV. As a result, Mack responded with a challenge for the TLC PPV so they could settle their issues the best way possible... in the ring with Extreme Rules in play!
The match was emotionally intense, as the former friends took out their brewing frustrations on each other. Mack tossed Eric into the steel steps and smacked him with a chair. Eric busted open Wheeler with a sledgehammer shot and delivered a D.C. Drop signature right onto the floor. It was clear that neither man was going to go down easy.
In the end, it was a table that made the final blow. Eric dazed his foe and then snatched his neck, and the resulting Final Verdict finisher through the table was enough to knock out the "Human Semi"! The following pinfall gave Eric a key victory over his former partner.
But the victory wasn't enough for Eric. Following the match, the narcissist grabbed a chair and re-entered the ring, smacking Mack multiple times for good measure. The crowd jeered loudly as a group of referees kept Eric from inflicting more damage, and he left with an evil grin on his face.
WINNER: Eric Executioner

Divas Championship:
Melina (C) vs. Maryse
Melina had been the reigning Divas Champion on the Raw brand and seemed to have a stranglehold over the title, but didn't account for the sneaky tactics of Maryse. After the photogenic champ made her entrance, she awaited her challenger. But Maryse snuck up behind Melina, and blindsided her! With the champ woozy, Maryse capitalized and dropped her with a French Kiss DDT and scored a quick pinfall to win the title!
WINNER (and NEW Divas Champion): Maryse

Post-Match Segment
Raw GM Stephanie McMahon had a big issue with the way Maryse won the title, so she decided to throw her weight around for a bit. The Billion-Dollar Princess came out immediately following the match and had an announcement...
Stephanie: "Maryse... You think you're going to basically steal the Divas title like that? I don't think so. I will honor your title win, but you will defend your new title... against Melina... RIGHT NOW!"
Maryse complained but it was to no avail. Melina shook off the cobwebs and prepared herself for a chance to quickly reclaim her title!

Divas Championship:
Maryse (C) vs. Melina
The match began fast and it was clear that Melina now was the Diva with the upper hand. She tossed Maryse all over the ring, hoping to damage her quickly. But Maryse escaped the ring to regroup and when Melina attempted to attack again, the champ tossed her into the announce table! The reversal allowed Maryse to gain control again, and despite Melina's attempts to fight back, the champion dropped her with another French Kiss and retained the title.
WINNER (and still Divas Champion): Maryse

Unified Tag Team Championship (Ladder Match):
Billy Carter & Zach Wesley (C) vs.
Badass Coalition (Big Mutha Trucker & Tank Blazer)
Billy & Zach had finally reached a major level of success when they captured the Tag Team titles last month at Survivor Series and Zach was also still the reigning ECW Champion. But their "dream" scenario turned into a nightmare as December rolled around. Rusty won a chance to challenge Zach for the ECW title, and with Angus' help, was able to fight back against the evil duo and won the belt at Tribute to the Troops only a few days before the TLC PPV. Then through the course of the month, another challenge arose when the Badass Coalition members of Trucker and Tank earned #1 contendership and were looking ahead to earning the Tag belts for the 2nd time.
The Ladder stipulation added another element of intrigue to the match, and it was clear that Billy & Zach were not on the same page early on. A few miscommunications led to Trucker getting some significant time at the top of the ladder, but was unable to grab the belts before Billy shoved the ladder over. The near-loss helped the champs focus, and they began to battle back. Zach powerslammed Tank and the "Canadian Bomber" followed up with a Red Maple Masher dive! With Tank out, Billy made a run up the ladder but Trucker met him at the top and both men came tumbling down hard.
In the end, Billy & Zach's magic had run out. Tank powerbombed Billy over the top rope and climbed the ladder. Zach attempted to climb up the other side, but didn't account for Trucker's whereabouts. Before Zach could even get a step on the ladder, Trucker nailed him with a Big Foot finishing kick! With both champs out, Tank had enough time to unsnap the titles and win the match!

United States Championship (TLC Match):
Carson Pain (C) vs. David Degenerate
The feud between "The Original" and the "Dangerous Genius" got hotter when Carson upset David D. last month at Survivor Series to win his 1st U.S. title. Naturally the fiery Degenerate demanded a rematch at the TLC PPV, and the champion decided to add a stipulation... the PPV's namesake match type!
David D. entered the match and pandered to the booing crowd, claiming that he was going to win the title. When "The Original"'s entrance music hit, the crowd reversed course and went crazy, giving the champ a warm welcome! David wasn't happy with that and attacked Carson halfway up the ramp, and the match was on! The two rivals battled hard and used all the weapons available to pound each other. Carson beat up David with a chair, but the "Genius" dropped the champ through the announce table with a vicious elbow drop!
Both men struggled to gain an advantage and neither could get enough time to reach the ladder top. In the match's climax, the bloody competitors traded blows at the top of the ladder with the belt swinging mere feet away. David fazed his foe for a brief moment and reached up, but his balance was off and Carson pushed him back down to the mat below! With the challenger out, Carson nabbed the title and retained to the joy of the crowd!

World Heavyweight Championship (TLC Match):
Ace (C) vs. Gravedigger
Last month, Ace rode the momentum from his victory at the Bragging Rights PPV into a World Heavyweight title upset over then-champion Gravedigger. The loss obviously angered the "Graveyard Monster" and he demanded a rematch at the following PPV. Leading up to the match, 'Digger did his best in trying to intimidate the "Ultimate Superstar" but the champ vowed to scale the ladder and retain.
The brutal TLC format was perfect for the physically-intense feud that was building between Smackdown's top grapplers. The match got started in quick fashion when Gravedigger attacked the champ as he reached ringside, and slammed him into the steel steps. The "Monster" was clearly in a foul mood and seemed determined to not only win back the title, but to destroy Ace in the process. The environment became a weapon for both men in this brutal title bout.
Ace fought back and was able to hurt the challenger. In the match end, 'Digger had struggled to the top of the ladder and stretched out for the belt. But a rejuvenated Ace bounced up, raced up the ladder and slammed his foe back down to the mat with a huge Royal Flush off the top! With 'Digger dazed, Ace crawled up the ladder and grabbed the belt to retain!

WWE Championship (Extreme Rules Triple Threat Match):
DMK (C) vs. Shawn Midnight vs. Renegade
WWE champ DMK had been starting to become overconfident in his title reign, and ran into major trouble when 2 separate feuds led to a Triple Threat title match! His feud with Renegade had raged on since DMK cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on him at Night of Champions, but DMK decided to make it personal by attacking Lee Money backstage at a December Raw show. Renegade became angry at DMK's disrespect and challenged him to a title match at TLC and demanded a stipulation... Extreme Rules!
In the other case, Shawn Midnight approached Mr. McMahon and demanded another shot at the WWE title that his former partner continued to hold. Midnight lost to DMK at Survivor Series but believed he could defeat him. This claim sparked a brawl when DMK entered the owner's office and showed his arrogance towards his challenger. The ensuing brawl destroyed Mr. McMahon's office and the owner fired back later that night... he changed the WWE title match to a Triple Threat Extreme Rules, with Midnight in the mix!
The match itself was a very back-and-forth war that saw each man bleed. Renegade found brutal ways to utilize a chair against both foes, and DMK chokeslammed "Daddy Mack" through the announce table! Despite the intense brawling and hardcore use of weaponry, the match continued after several near falls.
In the match end, Midnight got control and was able to nail Renegade with a Say Goodnight finisher. He seemed poised to win the title and started pumping up the crowd! But the overconfidence caused Shawn to lose track of the defending champ, and when he turned to pin DMK was waiting for him. The champ caught Shawn with a Checkmate finisher, and pinned him to retain the title!
Both Renegade and Shawn could only watch the arrogant champ strut out in disappointment, as DMK extended his title reign to a 5th month. The champ's cocky laugh angered the crowd as the PPV came to a close.
