Year 2
Unified Tag Team Championship:
Bullet Boyz (C) vs. American Cool
The Bullet Boyz had dominated the tag team division for the better part of the last year, earning 2 tag title reigns including their current one leading into The Bash PPV. But an unexpected partnership put a major threat towards them... the alliance of fan favorites Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture! Krizz, coming off a tough loss for Eric E.'s World title last month at Extreme Rules and still reeling from his ECW title loss back in April, had found himself in a serious state of low self-esteem. But Antonio became a strong supporter and was also looking for someone to have his back since he was drafted to Smackdown. Put the pieces of the puzzle together and... tada!... the American Cool team was born. The super team quickly rose up the tag ranks and earned the #1 contender's spot for the Bullet Boyz titles, and it seemed like the crowd was going to be in store for a great title bout.
Sure enough, the match lived up to expectations and more. The Bullet Boyz' dirty tricks and great chemistry allowed them to gain control, while Krizz & Antonio's power moves and energy buzz generated from the fans' support gave them some big momentum swings in their favor.
In the end, a well-timed hot tag turned the tide in the match. Craig & Tony had done a good job isolating Krizz from his partner and delivering some hard blows. But Krizz found a second wind, broke free of the Bullet Boyz' control and tagged in a fired up Antonio! The "Mastermind" blasted Craig with a clothesline, punched Tony off the apron and caught a dazed Craig with his American Dream finisher! Jordan scored the pinfall and the crowd went crazy as the American Cool super team captured the Tag Team titles!
WINNERS (and NEW Unified Tag Team Champions): American Cool (Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture)

United States Championship (Cage Match):
Travis Roarke (C) vs. Rebel Ford
June was not a very good month for Rebel Ford. After losing his U.S. title to Roarke last month at the Extreme Rules PPV, the rebellious grappler seemed to lose his mind a bit. First, he shocked the fans when he attacked WWE champ and former partner Renegade in a fit of jealousy following one of Renegade's matches on a recent Raw. Then, he continued to find ways to bother Roarke in hopes of gaining some advantage for his rematch. Also, he seemed pretty unsupportive of Diva friend Melina in her quest to regain the Divas title. So overall, fans were curious to see how focused Rebel was going to be heading into his matchup with Roarke... which was going to be a Cage Match!
Both men entered the ring surrounded by walls of steel and glared angrily at each other as the ref called for the opening bell. Right from the start, Rebel set out to destroy his rival. He knocked the "Assassin" into the corner and beat him ferociously with strikes, and then landed a big suplex. Then, he picked the champ up and slammed his forehead into each wall of the cage! Fans gasped in shock at the brutality shown by the challenger.
But Roarke was tough and refused to go down easy. Rebel attempted to deliver a move in the corner, but Travis reversed and tossed Rebel right into the cage wall! The counter allowed the champ to take control, and he proceeded to beat his challenger with strong fists and impressive fighting techniques,
In the end, both men tried to escape up the cage and began to fight near the top. Roarke dazed the challenger, and then sent him flying back to the mat below. The champ teetered a bit as he tried to regain his balance, which allowed Rebel just enough time to shake the cobwebs. Rebel reached up the cage... and pulled the champ back down with a vicious slam! Roarke rose up groggily, and Rebel lifted him up for a Poetic Justice finisher! With the "Assassin" out on the mat, Rebel slowly made his way up the cage! Travis tried hard to catch him, but as he reached for him Rebel dropped to the floor below!
An exhausted Rebel accepted the belt from the ref and celebrated as Roarke stomped angrily in disappointment in the ring!
WINNER (and NEW United States Champion): Rebel Ford

Divas Championship (Triple Threat Match):
Michelle McCool (C) vs. Melina vs. Maryse
The Divas title was up for grabs for the 3rd straight month, as champ McCool prepared to defend against rival Melina... and new contender Maryse! The French Canadian beauty found herself caught in the mix of Michelle and Melina's brooding feud and had earned a shot at McCool's title, which led to Raw GM Stephanie McMahon scheduling a 3-way bout for the belt.
The 3 Divas fought hard for the shot to be the Raw brand's top Diva, with each grappler finding herself in control during different points in the match. In the end, Melina seemed to have the bout won when she nailed Maryse with a hurricanrana, but Michelle caught her with a Faith Breaker finisher, and scored the pinfall to retain the belt!
WINNER (and still Divas Champion): Michelle McCool

Intercontinental Championship:
Joseph T. Lutte (C) vs. Rusty
The "Fantastic Frenchman" continued to rub fans the wrong way with his arrogance and snob behavior, especially since he won the I.C. title and vanquished Gravedigger last month to retain the belt. One Smackdown competitor who shared the fans' disgust was Rusty, who challenged Lutte to a title match. But Joseph refused to give into Rusty's challenge, referring to his "lack of credibility" as a true Intercontinental challenger. So the Frenchman posed an offer: beat Parker & Coop in a Handicap Match, and the title match would be granted. Now Lutte thought this idea was great... until Rusty won the match! Joseph was forced to complete his end of the bargain and put his title on the line at The Bash PPV!
It was clear right from the start of the match that these two grapplers had a sincere hate of each other, as the punches flew as soon as the opening bell dinged! Lutte gained control early, but Rusty's awareness and brawling style helped him turn the momentum.
In the end, Rusty failed to account for Lutte's dirty tactics. Rusty tried to hit Lutte with his Rusty Bumper signature, but Lutte moved and Rusty's back bounced hard off the canvas. The Frenchman seized the moment, throwing Rusty into the corner and delivering a nasty Family Jewel signature kick right to Rusty's manhood! Rusty crumpled to the mat in pain, and Lutte went for a pinfall... with his feet on the ropes! The ref didn't see the illegal move, and counted the pinfall!
Lutte snatched his belt and walked off laughing, pleased with his dirty victory and enjoyed the fans' jeers. Rusty rolled over, still hurt from the low blow, and glared angrily at the champ.
WINNER (and still Intercontinental Champion): Joseph T. Lutte

World Heavyweight Championship:
Eric Executioner (C) vs. Ace
The arrogance of Eric E. was starting to grow as his World title reign continued into June, but a familiar foe rose up to challenge him... Ace! The "Ultimate Superstar" wanted another shot at Smackdown's top belt after losing back at Backlash, and this time he vowed to end the narcissist's reign way earlier than he planned.
Ace made his entrance and appeared to be very focused. Then that Beastie Boys theme blasted out the speakers, and the overconfident champ strutted to the ring and enjoyed the crowd's disgust. He taunted Ace with the belt before handing it to the ref, which seemed to set off the challenger. When the bell rang, Ace attacked! The fury came out fast as the challenger laid into the narcissist, knocking him into the corner and then dropping him with a powerful suplex. Things seemed to be rolling his way, but Eric kicked out of a pinfall following a Falling Star signature to keep the match alive.
Eric regained the momentum and released his pent-up anger on his challenger. He blasted Ace with a clothesline, and slammed him down with a back suplex. Eric then caught Ace in his Hung Jury submission hold, but the "Ultimate Superstar" broke free.
In the end, Ace continued to damage the champ and found many ways to counter Eric's power moves. This lack of control angered Eric and he grew more and more frustrated as Ace got the crowd fired up! The champ decided that enough was enough and found a dirty way out of the match. The narcissist managed to knock down Ace briefly, and then grabbed the big gold belt. The ref tried to stop him, but Eric shoved him away. When Ace rose to his feet, Eric clobbered him over the head with a vicious belt shot! The ref immediately called for the bell and disqualified the champ. Ace had won the match, but Eric would be leaving as champ.
The narcissist stood over Ace and glared at him as the crowd booed. The ref asked him to leave but Eric threatened to attack him. The champ took his belt and walked off angry and frustrated, while Ace sat up in the ring and stared at him with a scowl.
WINNER (by DQ): Ace
*Note: Eric Executioner is still World Heavyweight Champion. Titles cannot change hands due to countout or disqualification.

WWE Championship (Inferno Match):
Renegade (C) vs. David Degenerate
The WWE fans had been abuzz for nearly the whole month of June as the uber-popular Renegade upset David D. at the Extreme Rules PPV to win the WWE title. The revolutionary, face-painted party animal had seen his popularity skyrocket over the last few months, culminating in his big win last month and achieving a life-long dream.
Of course, the "Dangerous Genius" had major issues with Renegade as WWE champ and angrily demanded a rematch for The Bash PPV. But to avoid David D.'s bag of tricks, Renegade agreed to match if one stipulation was added... the ultra-intense Inferno Match! What better way to force David D. to try and win conventionally than to surround the ring with flames?
The "Genius" made his entrance and pandered to the crowd, repeating over and over that he was going to win. When Renegade's theme hit, the crowd went wild! The WWE champ burst through the curtains and showed off his gold as he made his way to ringside, dropping a few pushups at the bottom of the ramp and sliding into the ring with a lot of swagger. Renegade and David D. talked trash face-to-face as the refs lit the flames, and the main event got underway!
The athletic and technical skills of both grapplers made the match very entertaining, as each man found creative ways to damage their foe. Renegade's set of kicks and David's suplexes and slams pushed the intensity to a higher level, as fans were on their feet reacting to every big move.
In the end, David tried dragging a woozy Renegade towards the flames. But the champ broke free, and surprised the challenger with a big Kick-olution finishing kick! Renegade grabbed his dazed challenger, and sent him flying through the fire!
Renegade celebrated proudly as the crowd went wild! At ringside, David D. rolled in pain and the refs put out the flames to limit the burns. Renegade stood near the ropes, flames licking close, and raised a fist as the PPV came to a close!
