Year 2
Hardcore Championship:
Big Mutha Trucker (C) vs. Travis Roarke
The feud between Trucker and the "Assassin" over the Hardcore title had gotten fiercer leading up to Bragging Rights, and the vicious battles between these two had taken a major toll on each man. Back in August, Travis rode his frustrations from losing the U.S. title into a Hardcore title battle with Trucker, and beat the "Resident Redneck" at his own game. Trucker naturally challenged for a rematch and was able to reclaim the belt at last month's Hell in a Cell PPV, and so this feud had finally reached best 2-out-of-3 status and was ready to be settled at Bragging Rights.
It didn't take long for these two hardcore warriors to get this match underway. As Trucker was making his entrance, Travis met him at ringside and blasted him with a kendo stick. That initial attack set the tone for what was to be a brutal rubber match. Roarke used the stick and the environment to pound on the champ, hoping to score a quick pinfall. But Trucker fought back and used a well-timed chair shot to daze his foe. The 4-time Hardcore champ was unwilling to go down easy, and made Travis pay for his aggressiveness. He grabbed the ring bell and gonged it against Roarke's head, and then decided to pull out a table! But Travis had just enough left in the tank to reverse Trucker's move, and ended up sending the "Redneck" crashing through wood!
In the end, Trucker stole a chair from Roarke and smacked him right in the forehead, busting him open. The wound made Travis groggy, which allowed the champ to execute his White Trash signature! To close out the win, Trucker landed a Big Foot finishing kick and pinned his challenger to retain the title in brutal fashion!
WINNER (and still Hardcore Champion): Big Mutha Trucker

United States Championship (Triple Threat Match):
David Degenerate (C) vs. Shawn Midnight vs. Carson Pain
After David D. beat Rebel Ford in a U.S. title rematch at the Hell in a Cell PPV, he was looking for a new challenge but it didn't take long for it to find him. Two worthy foes, "The Original" Carson Pain and Shawn Midnight, staked their claim to be the next U.S. champion and Raw GM Stephanie McMahon thought a Triple Threat match would be the perfect chance for them to prove it!
The battle between 3 of Raw's top competitors was tight all the way to the wire. Shawn's power, Carson's athleticism and David's tricks made it a spectacle. In the end, Carson nailed Shawn with his Original Sin finisher and attempted a pin. But David broke it up with a steel chair shot to Carson's back, which caused him to roll out of the ring in severe pain. With Carson out and the ref partially distracted, David used the ropes and performed an illegal pin to retain the title in dirty fashion.
After the match, David grabbed the chair and smacked Carson again. This brutal attack continued until several referees were able to separate the champ from his beaten rival. The "Dangerous Genius" soaked in the boos of the crowd as we walked away victorious, U.S. belt high in the air.

"Smackdown vs. Raw" Six-Man Elimination Tag Match:
Antonio Jordan, Krizz Torture &
Guy Justice (Team Smackdown) vs.
Rebel Ford, Brett Diamond & H.E.R.O. (Team Raw)
The Bragging Rights PPV is always an event designed to show one brand's prowess over another, and this match was specifically made for this purpose. The American Cool tag team of Antonio & Krizz joined up with the rookie "True Savior" to represent Smackdown, while Rebel Ford, "The Professional" and the rookie H.E.R.O. were chosen for Raw. The match was an elimination-style match, with the winning individual or team members earning bragging rights for their brand.
Team captains Antonio and Rebel started off and it was clear from their actions that this was going to be a tight battle. Antonio got the upper hand after a back-and-forth start, but was unable to keep Rebel from escaping to tag in Diamond. Brett was able to turn the momentum a bit, but the "Mastermind" slithered out of a pin attempt and tagged in his friend Krizz. The "2 Cool" man ran in hot, blasting Diamond and knocking the other 2 Raw teammates off the apron. He pounded on Diamond but he attempted his signature too early and was reversed. Diamond tagged in H.E.R.O. and the two delivered a sound double-team move. The rookie laid into Krizz and landed some solid maneuvers, but Krizz was able to get a tag to Justice. The rookies battled hard, hoping to impress the crowd and their teammates.
The match continued and the 1st elimination took place when Antonio nailed Brett with an American Dream finisher, scoring a quick pinfall. Team Raw got their own when Ford hit Krizz with a Poetic Justice finisher and got help from H.E.R.O. to secure the pin. Rebel remained the legal man but the match began to turn into chaos. Ford tried to pull Jordan back into the ring but the "Mastermind" delivered a gut kick to stun his Raw foe. Justice tried to attack Ford from behind but some quick moves by Ford forced Justice to accidentally clothesline Jordan off the apron! Ford rolled up Justice quickly to score another elimination for Team Raw.
Antonio was now down to himself against 2 opponents, but couldn't manage any momentum against Rebel. Ford tagged out but when he and H.E.R.O. tried double-team move, Antonio reversed and knocked both down! Rebel crawled out to the apron for a breather, and H.E.R.O. tried to regain control. But Antonio had gotten a second wind, and was able to catch H.E.R.O. with an American Dream. The quick pinfall made the match now 1-on-1!
Two exhausted team captains remained to decide the better brand. Both tried to end the match quick with finisher attempts, but both were reversed. In the end, Rebel caught Antonio with a suplex and then followed it up with a Guard Breaker signature! With Jordan woozy, Rebel was able to finish him with a Poetic Justice and got the final pinfall to win the match for Team Raw!

"Smackdown vs. Raw" Divas Elimination Tag Match:
Eve & Natalya (Team Smackdown) vs.
Michelle McCool & Melina (Team Raw)
After the men went to battle for bragging rights, the women were given a shot. Eve Torres & Natayla made up Team Smackdown's divas while Michelle McCool & Melina represented Raw.
Near the match end, eliminated competitors Melina and Natalya were arguing outside the ring. In the ring, Michelle McCool had just knocked down Eve and was preparing for her finisher near the ropes. Melina swung at Natalya but missed her and nailed McCool in the back of the legs. The accident shot dazed her for a second, but Eve was able to roll her up into a cradle! The following pinfall won the match for Eve and Team Smackdown!
After the match, McCool blamed Melina for the loss and the two were about to go at it! But Rebel Ford came running down quickly to save his ally Melina from a possible beat down.

Intercontinental Championship (Inferno Match):
Joseph T. Lutte (C) vs. Hitman Jack
Last month at the Hell in a Cell PPV, the "Fantastic Frenchman" escaped the cage against Hitman to reclaim the Intercontinental title after losing it to him at Summerslam. That win naturally led to a rematch, especially after Hitman attacked Lutte backstage at a Smackdown show only a few days after the Hell in a Cell PPV. The two agreed that there was only one way to solve their issues and settle the feud... in an Inferno Match!
The two seemed unafraid of the terrifying flames surrounding the ring and seemed more concerned about inflicting pain onto their opponent. Hitman's array of suplexes and neckbreakers kept the French champion off balance, while Lutte's dirty tricks and technical skills caused just enough harm.
In the end, Lutte countered one of Hitman's neckbreakers and followed it up with a Snap Decision signature move. When Hitman stumbled to his feet, Lutte finished him off with a Moneymaker and then dragged his limp body into the flames!
Hitman writhed in pain until medical personnel extinguished the fire, and Lutte stood tall in the ring with his retained title belt!
WINNER (and still Intercontinental Champion): Joseph T. Lutte

Six-Man Hell in a Cell Match:
DMK (C) vs. Tank Blazer vs. Renegade vs.
Gravedigger (C) vs. Ace vs. Eric Executioner
The Bragging Rights PPV needed a great main event that really drove the point home of the PPV's purpose, so Raw GM Stephanie McMahon and Smackdown GM Teddy Long conspired together and created a great idea: put 3 of the best from each brand, including the current champions, in the same match and let the winner control their fate for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV. If a non-champion won the match, then they would earn a title shot for their respective brand's top prize. If a current champion won the match, then they would earn the right to choose their opponent for a title defense at Survivor Series. But to make it the best idea ever, they decided to hold the match... in Hell in a Cell!
With the stipulations known, each competitor trained hard knowing that their title chances rested on the results of this match for both champions and all the challengers. No one could be trusted, as we witnessed during the build-up matches in the recent weeks. When the match got underway, insanity reigned!
All 6 grapplers wasted no time in pursuing their chance to win this match. DMK and Tank, still brooding over their hellacious fight at the previous PPV, went toe-to-toe in hopes of destroying the other. Gravedigger and Eric's feud from the previous months boiled over into this match, with each of them using the environment to their advantage. Renegade and Ace had no previous issues, but the gravity of the situation caused them to engage in fierce battle.
The war raged on between the men, with intense emotions and hard hits rattling the cell structure. In a bone-shattering move, Tank speared 'Digger through the cell wall! Eric used the steel steps to beat down Renegade, while DMK and Ace went at it in the ring.
The "Ultimate Superstar" used this opportunity to steal the victory. With 4 other competitors outside the ring, Ace reversed a DMK powerbomb and dazed the WWE champ. He waited eagerly for him to rise up, and when DMK got to his feet, Ace slammed him down with a Royal Flush! He was able to score the pinfall just seconds before Eric attempted to break it up!
The crowd went wild as Ace celebrated his huge win! DMK was shocked as it was his first major PPV loss in a long time, and Gravedigger was angered because he knew his title was now on the line at Survivor Series against one of Smackdown's best! Ace enjoyed the crowd's cheers as the PPV came to a close!
