He has been known to leave bite marks on his opponents, and occasionally draw blood... but he seems to love it! Serum hails from a very old town in England, and legend has it that he is the spawn of a very infamous vampire couple who lived in a secret society. He was apparently trained in the vampire arts, but when he reached adulthood he wished to break free and find his own calling. He traveled to the U.S. and his height, strength and strange, creepy appearance caught the eyes of several wrestling promoters. After considering multiple offers, Serum signed with a small league in Maine. The decision at the time seemed odd, but his legend grew in the obscure area he performed in. His scary demeanor and creepy promos made fans uneasy and frightened his opponents, which led to him becoming the longest-reigning heavyweight champion in the league's history. His following and success caught the eye of WWE officials, who decided to bring the vampire onto their national stage in hopes of "setting him free". Since then, the vibe and suspicious aura surrounding him continues to provide him a psychological advantage over his opponents. At the Backlash PPV, he was chosen as one of the Raw competitors in an inter-promotional 6-man battle royal but did not claim victory... Serum & Anarchy competed in many tag team matches throughout most of the year, but failed to garner enough consistent success... In July, Serum was selected to compete for the reinstated Hardcore Title... At the Night of Champions PPV, he faced Hitman Jack, Renegade and Antonio Jordan in a Fatal 4-Way match but was unable to win the belt... He stayed in the hunt for the Hardcore Title, but never captured the title despite numerous opportunities... In November, he participated in a 20-man battle royal at the Survivor Series PPV... In January, he competed in the 30-man Royal Rumble match... In February, Serum & Anarchy split up due to a lack of success... Despite losing an ally, Serum quickly found a new partner in Hitman Jack the following month and assisted him in his U.S. Title feud against Rebel Ford Year 2: Was drafted to the Smackdown brand along with tag team partner Hitman Jack at the beginning of the new year... Serum and Hitman quickly made an impact on their new brand, with Serum targeting ECW champ Krizz Torture... Late in April, Serum took advantage of a distraught Krizz, who had just gone through a tag-team breakup, and defeated him to win his 1st ECW Title... He held the title for nearly 2 months, but developed a rivalry with Zach Wesley... In June, Wesley won a battle royal to earn a ECW Title match, and beat Serum late in the month to win the belt... Wesley's title victory kicked off a fierce rivalry between Serum & Hitman and Wesley and tag-team partner Billy Carter... In July, the rival teams continued their ascent up the tag team ranks... Serum & Hitman were scheduled to face Parker & Coop in a #1 contenders' match, but Billy & Zach attacked the Olympian duo moments before the match and replaced them in the match... Despite the shocking change, Serum & Hitman defeated Billy & Zach to earn a Tag Team Title shot... They focused on current champs American Cool, and prepared to face them at the Night of Champions PPV... But at the PPV, Billy & Zach attacked Serum & Hitman just before the match, which allowed Antonio & Krizz to easily retain the titles... The loss was damaging for both Serum & Hitman as a team, and they began to slowly go their separate ways... As Hitman began to feud with Joseph T. Lutte, Serum continued to battle Zach over the ECW Title... Despite Serum's desire to reclaim the title, Wesley was able to retain the belt in an August title defense on Smackdown... Serum struggled to find success while Hitman continued to battle the "Frenchman", and finally in November, Serum violently ended his partnership with the "Lethal Canadian" and officially returned to heel status... At the Survivor Series PPV, Serum competed in a 6-man battle royal for a ECW Title shot but failed to earn the chance... In January, he competed in the 30-man Royal Rumble match... Lutte and Quinn Cadbury, where the European duo paid Serum to perform several violent acts and interfere in matches... In June, he participated in the King of the Ring Tournament but lost in the 1st Round to former partner Hitman Jack... Struggled to pick up any big wins throughout the fall and winter... At the Royal Rumble PPV, Serum entered #1 and scored 2 eliminations before being tossed by Zach Wesley... In February, he interfered in the Intercontinental Title match between Quinn Cadbury and Ace and helped the "English Gentleman" retain... Afterwards he was interviewed and recited an odd chant in a trance-like state... He continued to target Ace without reason, eliminating him in a battle royal that would determine the last qualifier for the World Heavyweight Elimination Chamber match... In March, he was chosen by Quinn to face Rusty in a match to determine if the "2 Xtreme" superfan could earn an Intercontinental Title... He dominated the match but lost due to interference by Krizz Torture |
