"Captain" Tank comes from a long family line of soldiers, as he and his 2 brothers, his father, both grandfathers and maternal great-grandfather all served in the U.S. military in some fashion. After serving his duty including a tour in Iraq, Tank returned to the states and found a new passion in wrestling. Soon after learning the craft, he opened his own training camp for returning servicemen. One of first to join was Dylan Dynamite, a former soldier under Tank, and the two formed a dangerous tag team. The patriotic mindset and perfect speed/strength mix made a major impact along the U.S. independent circuit and became fan favorites. After a successful run, the WWE signed both men to contracts. But Tank and Dylan's patriotic schtick ran its course quickly in the WWE, and the fans' apathy made Tank and Dylan consider a more sinister path. The two decided to turn heel and they joined the evil stable that included DMK and Shawn Midnight. When DMK began to break free, Tank and Dylan remained loyal to the stable and refused to join him when DMK beat the evil leader at WrestleMania. After the evil stable dissolved, Tank and Dylan re-embraced their military background but continued to spurn the fans due to their "betrayals". Tank himself developed a mean streak that could only be described as volatile, and he intends on causing as much destruction as possible.
