June
Year 3
Week 1
The first June edition of Smackdown lights up LIVE from Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Backstage Segment
To open the show, a video plays on the screen displaying an event from earlier this afternoon. The video shows Smackdown GM Teddy Long conversing with a producer backstage.
Teddy: "I'm not sure what to do, playa. I was hoping to enter him in the King of the Ring Tournament but the trainer told me today that he has a minor injury and needs rest. I'm looking through the roster but I just don't see anyone that could fill in the spot."
The producer nods and helps Teddy flip through some documents. The producer shrugs and walks off, leaving Teddy to decide for himself. As Teddy rubs his chin in thought, two men approach.
Mr. Black: "Mr. Long... a word please?"
The creepy presence of Mr. Black and his client Eric Executioner stand before Teddy as the camera pans back a bit. Teddy looks a little spooked as he gazes at Mr. Black and up to the taller narcissist. Teddy begins to gather himself and responds.
Teddy: "Uhh... yes, sure. What's up?"
Mr. Black: "I believe I have a simple solution to your problem."
Teddy: "Yes? And that is?"
Mr. Black: "Enter Eric Executioner into the final King of the Ring spot. I believe he would make a fine competitor."
Teddy seems surprised at the suggestion and seems to collect some more confidence.
Teddy: "I don't think that's such a good idea, playa. This tournament was meant to showcase up-and-coming talent, not someone who..."
But before Teddy can finish his sentence, Mr. Black and Eric have stepped closer to him.
Mr. Black: "Mr. Long... I really, REALLY think you should reconsider."
Eric rubs his fists and stares blankly at Teddy, while Mr. Black clearly is creeping Teddy out. The GM leans back as far as he can but it doesn't seem to help.
Teddy: "Uhh... Okay, okay. He's in the tournament. His first match will be tonight."
Mr. Black: "Thank you, kind sir. We appreciate your thoughtfulness."
And with that, the duo leaves the room. Teddy clutches his chest after they depart as it seems he can barely catch his breath. The scene ends with the camera zoomed in on the tournament bracket sheet in Teddy's hands... where Eric's name has suddenly appeared.

King of the Ring Tournament - Bracket Update
The bracket is shown with the Smackdown competitors entered and the Raw results posted.
King of the Ring Tournament
Smackdown Quarterfinal Match: Guy Justice vs. Zach Wesley
The Smackdown region of the bracket kicks off with the "True Savior" matching up against the "Mohawked Maniac" with a chance to advance to the semifinals. Justice enters first and receives a fairly warm welcome from the crowd, and he maintains a very focused expression as he enters the ring. After Justice removes his sweatshirt and begins to warm up, Wesley's music hits. The crowd doesn't give a very positive reaction, but the "Maniac" takes an excessive amount of time to come out. Then suddenly... Wesley attacks Justice from behind in the ring! The crowd sends out a louder chorus of boos as the "Maniac" blindsides Guy. Zach lifts a woozy Justice up and slams him down with a hard Maniac Mutator! Wesley tries for a cover and a very quick victory... but Justice kicks out!
The "Maniac" stomps around the ring in anger as his dastardly plan was ruined. Justice seems dazed but rallies back, knocking Wesley senseless with some impressive suplexes. He continues to take advantage and after pulling a nice reversal, Justice plants Wesley with his Harsh Truth signature! The "Savior" capitalizes quickly and locks Wesley up in his Justice Lock submission! Zach reaches for the ropes with no success, but the "Maniac" finds a way to power out of the hold and keep himself alive in the match.
The battle roars on as the crowd is now starting to heat up as the intensity grows in the ring. Both men fight hard, knowing they'll each need another finishing move to score the win. Wesley's strength helps him, but Justice proves to be too resilient. After catching Wesley again with another Harsh Truth, Justice snaps on another Justice Lock! This time the "Savior" tightens the hold and Wesley has no choice but to tap out!
Guy looks exhausted as he celebrates the big win, and the crowd gives him a huge ovation! The "Savior" is moving on to the semifinals!

Backstage Segment
The cameras roll backstage as we see World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford walking down the hallway towards the locker rooms. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction after his odd actions last week when he ducked out of the way of Ace's chair shot and let Angus take the blow. Rebel peaks into a few doors on his way, obviously looking for someone. Finally, he spots the person he wants and walks into the room. The camera pans around to see... Angus! The "Irish Giant" is propped up in a comfortable chair, reading a book. He's off tonight but is still traveling with the roster. Rebel approaches him and taps the big knee of the "Giant".
Rebel: "Hey pal... what's up?"
Angus lays the book in his lap and looks up at Rebel. He gets a slight scowl on his face. He closes the book, sets it on the table and rises from his chair. The "Giant" towers over Rebel but the champ doesn't budge.
Angus: "Can I help you, fella?"
Rebel: "I know you're probably pissed at me, but I just came by to apologize. I know my actions last week weren't the best and I'm sorry you took such a vicious shot to the head. I just reacted naturally. I hope you understand."
Angus rubs his beard in thought for a moment.
Angus: "Yeah I do. But at the same time, I'm still not happy about it. I went out of my way to protect you and help you last month and the one time you could repay the favor and you failed to do so. That's not fair in my eyes, fella."
Rebel: "I hear you. Like I said, I'm sorry."
Angus: "Well I forgive you but... I'm not protecting you anymore. You're on your own."
Rebel: "Okay. I understand. I can handle myself. By the way, nice win on Sunday over Ace. I was seriously impressed."
Angus: "Thanks. He gave me quite a fight."
Rebel: "For sure. I just hope that his antics are over now. He's such a pain in the ass."
Angus: "Ha ha... yes he is. I don't know if he's going to go away though. He's a pretty determined fella. Even after I won Sunday, I heard he was still complaining about things."
Rebel: "Alright well... I'll keep my eye out."
Rebel turns away and begins to walk out. Angus calls out to him before he leaves.
Angus: "Rebel... good luck."
The champ nods and leaves the room. Angus stands facing the door for a moment, and then shakes his head. He sits back in the chair and opens the book again as the segment ends.

Krizz Torture (w/ Antonio Jordan) vs.
Quinn Cadbury (w/ Joseph T. Lutte)
After Krizz got viciously attacked last week on Smackdown by Vincent Serum, rumors spread that the G.L.O.W. team was behind the attack financially. Their actions and comments hinted at paying off the "Vicious Vampire" to attack Krizz following his match against Zach Wesley, so "2 Cool" decided to challenge the younger of the European duo to a match. Of course, Antonio Jordan and Joseph T. Lutte planned to accompany their respective partners to ringside.
The match started with a nice technical display, with each man showing off some quick reversals and simple but effective maneuvers. Krizz tried to overpower his British foe, but Quinn delivered some nice counterattacks to keep the California-born fan favorite on his toes. The two continued to trade blow after blow as the crowd began to really get into it.
Then midway through the match, a verbal spat led to Antonio jumping onto the apron in support of Krizz. But while Antonio and the referee argued... Vincent Serum dashed out of the crowd and into the ring! Krizz turned and walked right into a Decapitator clothesline! Antonio tried to get the ref to see the interference, but the referee had enough of the "Mastermind"... and ejected him from the match! Antonio and the fans were irate! How could "America's Favorite" get tossed while Serum interferes unchecked???
To make matters worse, while Antonio and the ref argued, the camera picked up Joseph secretly handing a set of brass knuckles to Quinn in the ring as the "Gentleman" recovered. With the ref's back still turned, Quinn waited for a dazed Krizz to rise to his feet... and knocked him silly with a brass-knuckled haymaker! Quinn quickly tossed the illegal object back to Joseph and pretended to be recovering in the corner while Krizz lay busted open on the mat. When the ref finally ignored Antonio, Quinn pounced on his opponent and delivered a very cocky Royal Mutilation finisher! Cadbury went for the cover and got an easy pinfall over his bloody rival for the dirty victory!
Quinn and Joseph celebrated in the ring as medical personnel rushed to the ring to check on Krizz. Antonio stood on the stage in a furious state of rage while the G.L.O.W. team raised their arms and taunted the jeering crowd!
WINNER: Quinn Cadbury

Backstage Segment
Backstage, the camera follows Antonio Jordan... and he seems like he is on a mission. He heads past the locker room area and down a dark hallway. Voices can be heard nearby and Antonio pauses. He creeps up to a corner and peeks around. The camera pans and we see... Joseph T. Lutte, Quinn Cadbury and Vincent Serum gathered in a dimly-lit area. The camera zooms in and we can see the G.L.O.W. team laughing as they count several $20 bills. The "Vicious Vampire" is standing with his hands on his hips, smirking and nodding.
The camera pans back to Antonio, who looks directly in the lens.
Antonio: "Watch this..."
Then suddenly, Antonio races down the hall and attacks! The 3 men are shocked by his presence and can't seem to escape! Antonio knocks Joseph to the floor, clotheslines Quinn against the wall and tosses Vincent headfirst into an electrical cage. Money flies everywhere and begins to slowly drift to the ground around the brawling scene, with Antonio laying into his 3 foes. He gives each of them one last shot and lets loose a loud roar of satisfaction. He surveys the damage and walks off.
The camera pans back to the 3 men sprawled out on the concrete floor, money scattered over and around them, as the segment ends!

King of the Ring Tournament
Smackdown Quarterfinal Match:
Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black) vs.
Paulie Dominos (w/ Jersey Jenny)
The next King of the Ring matchup featured the "Jersey Fist-Pumper" against the last-minute entry Eric E., with their respective allies at ringside. Paulie D. danced his way to the ring with sister Jenny by his side, while Eric walked purposefully with Mr. Black following close behind during his entrance. The bell rang and this tournament battle began.
Paulie D. actually gained the upper hand first, using his speed and agility to knock the narcissist off his feet. "Mr. Amazing" flew across the ring, landing some massive kicks and numerous high-flying moves to catch his bigger foe off guard. But despite an impressive showing, Eric's sudden inability to feel pain and brute strength allowed him to take control. Paulie continued to fight back, but every power move left him more and more dazed. When the Jersey-born grappler tried to catch Eric with a move off the ropes, the narcissist caught him by the neck and squeezed tight. Eric's grip had Paulie gasping for air, which gave him time to lift his opponent up... and slam him down with a Final Verdict chokeslam! Eric made the easy cover and stared blankly into the crowd as the referee counted the pinfall, giving him the tournament victory!
After the match, Mr. Black began to creep towards Jersey Jenny with an evil smile and she started to back away in fear. Eric celebrated mildly and then jumped outside the ring, following Mr. Black as he approached her. Paulie recovered somewhat quickly, staggering out of the ring to protect his sister. Mr. Black chuckled as a wincing Paulie led his sister to safety backstage, while the crowd booed heavily. The narcissist was going on to the 2nd round to face Guy Justice!

MAIN EVENT:
Bullet Boyz (Craig & Tony Bullet) vs. Rusty & ???
The final match of the evening was scheduled for the Bullet Boyz, featuring newly-crowned ECW champ Craig, against former ECW champ Rusty and a mystery partner of his choosing. The crowd did not give the overconfident "Criminal" and "Villain" a nice welcome, booing lustily as they taunted everyone on the way to the ring. Craig kept rubbing his title belt mockingly on the way down, drawing more heat from the fans.
When Rusty's music hit, the crowd's reaction flipped and they gave him a solid reaction! The "2 Xtreme" superfan walked out onto the stage with a very focused expression but acknowledged the crowd for their support. Then Rusty stepped to the side and motioned to the curtains for... Hitman Jack! The Bullet Boyz looked very furious in the ring as the lethal grappler burst through the curtain and joined his partner! The crowd continued to cheer hard as the unlikely duo ventured towards the ring... and then ran in to start a brawl!
The two teams went at it for a few minutes, trading punches and kicks until the referee could calm the scene and send 2 teammates to their respective corners. Rusty and Tony began first, and both men used some nice flying moves to liven up the crowd. Tony tagged in Craig, and the ECW champ laid into his rival, catching him with a series of kicks and maneuvers. But Rusty rallied back, knocking Craig from post to post and gaining the upper hand before tagging in Hitman. The surprise partner gave Craig a few nice suplexes but the "High-Flyin' Criminal" managed to escape to his corner to get Tony in the ring, but Hitman's momentum let him put the beatdown on him too!
The match roared on as both teams battled hard for an edge. The Bullet Boyz' teamwork let them take control, while the crowd support gave Rusty and Hitman the strength to rally back. In the end, one simple mistake cost Craig & Tony. Tony battled Hitman in the ring, and somehow managed to get his foe staggering on his feet. But Tony didn't realize where he was standing so close to his own corner and Hitman played possum perfectly. Tony wound up for a cocky big punch... but Hitman ducked and clotheslined Craig off the apron! The big swing knocked Tony off his balance and Hitman pounced to lock him up for his finishing Lethal Hit! The snapping neckbreaker move dazed Tony for good and Rusty dashed around the ring to keep Craig at bay just long enough for Hitman to score the pinfall!
Craig looked peeved as Hitman and Rusty celebrated the huge upset win! Craig helped Tony out of the ring and began to walk backstage, but turned back to show off his ECW title belt. Rusty glared but seemed pleased with the win, high-fiving Hitman to the delight of the crowd!

Backstage Segment
As the show came to a close, the cameras rolled in the parking lot where we see World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford walking towards his car. From behind, we hear a faint female voice approaching.
Eve: "Rebel! Rebel! Wait up!"
Womens champ Eve jogs up as Rebel turns to see her. He waits for her.
Rebel: "Hey Eve.. what's going on?"
Eve: "Rebel, can I ask you a BIG favor?"
Rebel: "Umm... sure. What is it?"
Eve: "My car broke down outside the arena. It's sitting parked next to the curb. Can you give me a ride to the nearest auto shop?"
Rebel looks at her and thinks for a moment. She smiles brightly and puts her hands together as if to say please. Rebel smirks back and nods.
Rebel: "Sure Eve. No problem."
Eve: "Oh my god, thank you so much! I will owe you big time!"
She touches him on the elbow and smiles again. There seems to be a little... connection... between them.
Rebel: "Well... how about you take me out for a little after-show meal? I'm starving. What do you say?"
Eve seems to like that idea.
Eve: "Absolutely! We can go anywhere you want after we get my car fixed."
They walk closely side by side as they make their way to Rebel's car. They jump in and drive off. The camera pans to follow the car out of the parking lot, then pans back to the near-empty lot. The camera zooms into a dimly-lit area of the lot and we can see... a strange dark silhouette of a person. Was this person watching Rebel and Eve chatting? The unknown person disappears into the darkness as the end credits roll!

Week 2
Another LIVE edition of Smackdown opens from World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford's hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio!
Tony Bullet (w/ Craig Bullet) vs. Guy Justice
The opening match of the show had one half of the Bullet Boyz taking on King of the Ring semifinalist Guy Justice in a singles match. Tony & Craig made their entrance first, taunting the crowd like normal with Craig again making a big deal about his ECW title belt. But the crowd gave a much more pleasing welcome when the "True Savior" came out! Justice made his focused entrance, barely peeking out from under his sweatshirt hood as the crowd shouted praises to him. The two men began with a deep staredown, but then locked up and began the fight.
Tony's high-flying moves gave him the early edge, as he bounced off the ropes to catch Justice napping. But the "Savior" rallied back, using his wide range of suplexes and slams to daze his foe. With Justice in control, Craig begins to get annoyed outside the ring and starts to cause problems. After distracting the ref during one of Justice's pinfall attempts, the ref makes a bold move... by ejecting the ECW champ from ringside! Tony doesn't like the decision but the crowd does, sending out a loud cheer!
With Craig away, Justice stays focused on attacking his opponent and catches him with his Harsh Truth signature! With Tony down and out, the "Savior" locks in his Justice Lock submission and forces the "Criminal" to tap out! The crowd cheers as Justice gets his arm raised by the referee in victory!
But the celebration doesn't last long when 2 unwelcomed visitors stroll out onto the stage... Mr. Black and Eric Executioner! The crowd and Justice seemed to get annoyed by their presence. Eric and Guy will meet next week in the King of the Ring semifinals. Eric stands tall and just stares at Justice blankly, but Mr. Black sends the message... by clapping mockingly! The "Savior" glares angrily at the dark duo from the ring and clenches his fists at their disrespectful display.

Backstage Interview
The cameras roll in the interview area and the crowd breaks into a loud cheer when... World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford appears on screen! Rebel seems to know his hometown crowd has got his back and smirks at the crowd noise echoing from the arena. Standing next to him closely is Women's champ Eve, and there seems to be a little connection between the two. Lillian Garcia waits for the cue to begin the interview.
Lillian: "Hello everyone! I am joined here by two of Smackdown's champions... World Heavyweight Champion Rebel Ford and Women's Champion Eve Torres!"
The crowd gives another cheer as Lillian continues.
Lillian: "First of all, Rebel... how does it feel to return to your hometown as World Heavyweight Champion?"
Rebel: "Lillian, I'll be honest... it's like a dream come true. When I joined the WWE, one of my goals was to win a major title and compete in my hometown in front of thousands of fans. But being able to do both? Wow, what a great moment for me."
Eve touches Rebel's shoulder and smiles, and Rebel glances at her and smiles back. Lillian picks up on the moment and asks a question.
Lillian: "So... many have been wondering since last week... what is the status of the relationship between you two?"
Eve: "Oh Lillian, you always have the right question to ask. I'm not sure if I'm qualified to answer it... Rebel?"
Rebel: "Ha ha, of course you would put it on me! Well Lillian, I guess I'd like to say... yes, we are currently dating."
Lillian: "Wow! That's pretty amazing that you two found each other. It's almost like we have another 'Golden Couple' on Smackdown!"
Eve: "Well I wouldn't go that far, Lillian. Both of us may be champions here on Smackdown, but we're not focused on being labeled anything. We just want to enjoy our time together and support each other no matter what!"
Eve and Rebel share another moment as Lillian smiles. She continues after a short pause.
Lillian: "Well I hope you have a lot of support for Rebel tonight, as he is scheduled to take on the "Mohawked Maniac" Zach Wesley in tonight's main event. Are you concerned in taking on such a dangerous competitor?"
Rebel: "Anybody who calls themselves a 'Maniac' raises concerns, but I'm not too worried. I'm confident in my abilities, especially since I am the World Heavyweight champ, and I know with Eve by my side that I can do anything I want! So actually... you should be asking Zach if he's concerned about facing me!"
Rebel and Eve laugh and walk off together to end the interview. Lillian seems impressed with Rebel's comment and ends the interview. She hands the microphone to an assistant and looks over some notes. The camera pans around her to reveal... the same dark silhouette from last week! Who is stalking Rebel and Eve? The camera tries to zoom in to catch a glimpse of the unknown person, but the shadow disappears into the darkness of the hallway as the segment ends.

Backstage Segment
Backstage, the cameras roll as we see Antonio Jordan reading and flipping through a packet. Nearby, Audrey Vega is lounging in a chair, feet up on a foot stool. The scene seems quiet and calm... until he hear the famous "Proud to be an American" song playing in the background. The sound is gradually getting louder, and Antonio and Audrey look up and around to see where it is coming from. They spot the origin of the sound, and the looks on their face do not seem pleased. The camera pans back to see... Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury approaching! Joseph is playing the song off his phone, and the two Europeans are mockingly swaying to the music. Antonio and Audrey are getting very annoyed... so annoyed that Antonio swipes the phone out of Joseph's hand! He finds and presses the pause button on the touchscreen, and tosses it into Joseph's chest. The "Fantastic Frenchman" catches the phone and laughs, making sure it is shut off before he slides it into his pocket.
Joseph: "What is the matter, Antonio? I thought you loved America!"
Antonio: "I do. That's why I don't like it when ignorant foreigners mock our patriotism."
Joseph and Quinn laugh again. They pat each other on the back and hold their Tag Team titles high on their shoulders proudly.
Joseph: "Oh Antonio, you always know how to make me laugh! Anyway we came by to tell you how IMPRESSED we were with how you attacked us last week! We REALLY appreciated you sticking your American nose into European business. Typical cowboy stuff, ehh?"
Antonio: "Well, I DON'T appreciate you paying off cronies to attack my friends. Krizz got seriously injured after you fools took things to the extreme. I thought it would be nice to repay the favor."
Quinn: "Aww poor baby! Your little 'Cool' friend is all hurt? Oh, how sad!"
The Europeans' mocking is really starting to drive Antonio crazy. Audrey senses his anger and calmly grabs his elbow to hold him back. Antonio settles a bit and pats her hand to assure her that he is okay. Antonio then steps forward and cuts off their laughter.
Antonio: "What do you want?"
Joseph: "Oh nothing really. We just like to remind you of how sad your American life is, and how inferior you are to us. You could say it's one of my fondest goals!"
Antonio: "Well here's my goal, Frenchy. My goal is for me and my boy Krizz to take those Tag Team titles away from you. And I'm not going to sugarcoat it... I want a Tag Team title match against you two at the King of the Ring PPV."
Quinn: "Why wait until the PPV? Why don't we just beat you and end this ridiculous charade tonight?"
Antonio: "Because I want this to be a fair fight. Krizz is still recovering from your stupid actions last week. I want him healthy so there's no argument over who the better team really is."
Joseph: "Ha ha! A fair fight?! You know who you are dealing with, don't you?"
Antonio: "Yeah I know exactly who I'm dealing with. That's why I want it to be a No DQ Tag Team title match. No bull crap, no sneaky tricks... just two competitive teams going at it for the gold. What do you say, Joseph?"
Antonio pokes his rival in the chest and Joseph takes a small step back. He doesn't like that but holds himself back. He nods to Quinn and the "Gentleman" responds.
Quinn: "We accept your challenge, Antonio. Bring anyone and anything you want to the match. You still won't walk away with the belts!"
Joseph and Quinn turn and walk off, and the camera pans around to see Antonio's face. The "Mastermind" watches them leave and just breathes deeply as Audrey rubs his back. The segment ends with a closeup of the two American fan favorites looking down the hall.

Post-Match Segment
As Rebel and Eve continue to celebrate, a familiar theme hits and everyone in the arena whips their heads around to look at the stage. It's... Melina! The Hollywood starlet and current Raw Diva (and former ally to Rebel) comes out onto the stage. What is she doing here on Smackdown???
Rebel and Eve are confused and the crowd seems to observe the scene with the same expression. Melina is just standing on the stage, hands on her hips and smirking. Eve seems to ask Rebel about Melina being here, but Rebel just shrugs as he clearly doesn't understand why either.
But the shocking part was just about to happen as... Ace's music hits! The crowd lets out a surprised reaction and the two champions in the ring now have wide-eyed looks. What does Ace have to do with this? The "Ultimate Superstar" and former World champ steps out onto the stage and stands very close to Melina. Melina then takes a step closer to him... and Ace wraps his arm around her! Melina smiles and the two just look at Rebel and Eve in the ring!
The look on Rebel and Eve's faces was of complete and utter shock! They couldn't believe what they were seeing! Why was Melina here on Smackdown... and why is she clearly in cahoots with Ace??? The show comes to a close with the camera switching back and forth between shots of Rebel and Eve's shocked faces and Melina and Ace's sly smirks!

The technical display from both men is very impressive, and the fans are on their feet for almost the entire match. After getting the upper hand early, H.E.R.O. is able to plant Hitman with his Heart Stopper finisher! H.E.R.O. goes for the quick cover in hopes of a fast win... but Hitman kicks out! The rookie is disappointed but determined, and the crowd roars for the close call moment!

Backstage Segment
Backstage, the cameras roll and we see Melina walking down the hall and greeting nearly everyone she passes. She has a huge smile on her face and almost seems to be skipping. She stops momentarily to greet some of the backstage crew... but a hand grabs her by the arm and turns her around. The camera pans back to see... World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford and Women's champ Eve! They do not look happy but Melina continues to smile at them.
Rebel: "Melina! What... what are you doing here?"
Melina: "What do you mean? I'm part of the WWE roster."
Rebel: "No, I mean... what are you doing here on Smackdown? You're not part of the Smackdown roster. And secondly... why in the world are you with Ace?!"
Melina chuckles a bit, which seems to anger Rebel and Eve even more. She shakes her head and responds.
Melina: "Rebel... you have no idea what I've been through lately. Before when you were still on Raw, we made a great team. We won together, we supported each other, everything. Then you got drafted and won the World Heavyweight title on your first night on Smackdown. And I was SO excited for you! I couldn't believe that you were finally a World champ. But then a week later... you basically break up with me for no real reason other than the fact that we were now on different rosters. That hurt me... a lot! I couldn't handle it emotionally, I went on this huge losing streak and I had nobody to support me..."
Melina seems to be getting a little emotional over this, but she suddenly gathers herself and the sly smile comes back.
Melina: "... so I went out and found my own support. And you know what? I found Ace! He's been so good to me. I needed a friend so badly and he stepped right up. In fact, he just kinda appeared out of nowhere and offered support. It was a little odd... but so nice! I really needed it. So now, I guess we're... together!"
That last comment angers Rebel more. He just can't believe what he's hearing. Eve tries to settle him but he just can't hold back.
Rebel: "Melina, are you crazy?! Melina... the only reason Ace has been 'nice' to you is because he is trying to get another World title shot against me! He knows that we used to be partners. He's just trying to get under my skin!"
Melina shakes her head and doesn't seem pleased with Rebel's response.
Melina: "No way. I know Ace well and he wouldn't do that."
Suddenly... Ace appears at Melina's side! The "Ultimate Superstar" wraps his arm around Melina and pulls her tight, which brings the smile back to her face. Ace smiles at her and then looks at Rebel.
Ace: "Oh Rebel. Has that World title gone to your head? Not everything is about you!"
Rebel: "What do you want, Ace? Why are you with her?"
Ace: "Didn't you hear the lady speak? She needed a friend, so I stepped in."
Rebel: "Well I just find it strange that she needed a friend and you just randomly stepped in. Sounds fishy, especially considering how annoying you've been lately."
Ace: "Me? That doesn't sound like me."
Ace continues his sarcastic smile and Rebel appears ready to boil over. Sensing the mood, Eve steps in to settle the issue.
Eve: "I'm going to settle everything right here. Melina, you don't deserve to be here on Smackdown. So I'm challenging you to a match tonight, just to prove it. What do you say?"
Melina looks up at Ace, and he nods.
Melina: "Deal. See you in the ring!"
Ace and Melina turn and walk off. The camera pans around to view Rebel and Eve. Eve turns and tries to calm Rebel as the segment ends.

Pre-Match Segment
Backstage, we see Intercontinental champ Antonio Jordan heading toward the ring with Audrey Vega trailing a few steps behind. Antonio is scheduled to face Vincent Serum in a few minutes. Just before Antonio turns towards the entrance area, he stops and turns. Audrey stops as well and looks up at him.
Antonio: "Audrey... I think you should stay back for this match."
Audrey: "What? Why?"
Antonio: "I just... I don't know what's going to happen out there, and I don't want you to get hurt."
Audrey: "What do you mean? Do you think something bad is going to happen?"
Antonio: "I don't know. Just stay back here where it is safer. Trust me. I'll be okay."
Audrey: "Umm... okay. Well, good luck... I guess."
Audrey kisses him on the cheek and he hugs her tightly. He heads off and Audrey lets her hand fall gently off his shoulder as he leaves. The camera zooms in on her concerned face as the segment ends.

Antonio Jordan vs. Vincent Serum
To get revenge for the paid attacks he put on his friend Krizz Torture, Antonio Jordan challenged the "Vicious Vampire" to a one-on-one bout. The Intercontinental champ came out first to a huge ovation, as the Providence crowd let "America's Favorite" know that his appearance was appreciated. Then Serum stalked his way to the ring and snarled at the jeering crowd, who let him know that he should have stayed home.
Antonio wasted no time in getting the upper hand, just overwhelming his larger foe with speed, quickness and an aggressive moveset. Vincent had his moments, but the "Mastermind" had a near-perfect game plan and executed it well. After popping Serum with his signature knee to the face, Antonio let his foe stagger... and dropped him with his finishing American Dream! The crowd chanted with the ref's count, and Antonio picked up a very dominating and quick victory!
WINNER: Antonio Jordan

Post-Match Segment
As Antonio celebrated and played to the fans, the "Vampire" staggered to his feet and let a very evil smile come across his face. Antonio sensed danger and looked around to see... the G.L.O.W. team walking towards the ring! The European duo of Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury sauntered down to ringside, applauding sarcastically. Antonio glanced back and forth between Serum and the Tag Team champs, suddenly discovering that he was stuck between them... and extremely outnumbered. Did the G.L.O.W. team let Vincent accept this challenge in order to plan a 3-on-1 attack???
As the G.L.O.W. team neared the ring, Antonio braced himself for a brawl. Serum chuckled in the ring and began to approach him slowly, forcing the "Mastermind" to edge closer towards his rivals outside the ring. It did not look good for Antonio...
... but then, the crowd erupted when Krizz Torture's music hit! The G.L.O.W. team spun around and received a double clothesline from the returning Krizz! In the ring, Antonio sensed the moment and attacked a shocked Serum, knocking him around the ring with fierce punches! Outside, Krizz took on the Tag Team champs and bounced back and forth, beating them silly and tossing Quinn hard into the ringside barricade!
Antonio grabbed Vincent by the neck, ran him over to the ropes and tossed him out... right onto the staggering bodies of Joseph & Quinn! Krizz slid into the ring and gave an embrace to his partner, and they stood tall in the ring as their 3 rivals crawled to their feet and began to scamper away! The crowd was going wild as the American Cool duo high-fived and raised their arms high, knowing that they got one over on those Europeans! A very angry Joseph glared back at the ring from the stage as he assisted his allies to end the explosive segment!

King of the Ring Tournament
Smackdown Semifinal Match:
Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black) vs. Guy Justice
The final spot in the Smackdown final was going to be determined between the "True Savior" and Eric E. Last week, Eric and his evil manager Mr. Black mocked Justice after he picked up a win over Tony Bullet, which added some intensity to this King of the Ring battle. Justice entered first and got a nice response from the crowd as he approached the ring with his sweatshirt hood pulled up over his head, a focused look peeking out from under it. Then Eric and his ally came out a drew a very loud chorus of boos, but the two seemed unaffected by the crowd's negativity. The narcissist climbed into the ring and just stared down his opponent, but Justice didn't back down.
The battle to advance was tight, and Justice proved to everyone just how resilient he can be. Eric used his strength and some vicious moves to inflict some serious damage to the "Savior", but Justice kept rallying back. The crowd began to sense Eric's frustration and started to give vocal support for the "Savior", which caused both Eric and Mr. Black to take drastic measures. Eric started to get more aggressive, but that plan backfired when Justice reversed a Final Verdict attempt! It almost seemed like the crowd's cheers gave Justice another gear, and he was exposing Eric's weaknesses!
But Mr. Black wouldn't settle for his client losing, so he began to take matters into his own hands. When the action spilled outside the ring, the creepy manager ventured very close and everyone could see Justice's anxiousness. In a heated moment, Mr. Black approached Justice and stood just behind him, causing Justice to react and lose his focus. Eric capitalized, grabbing Justice by the neck and chokeslamming him hard onto the ringside floor!
The men returned to the ring where Eric now had full control. But Justice had one more resilient moment left in him, and reversed another Final Verdict! But when he tried to catch Eric with a big move, the narcissist countered himself and finally was able to deliver a punishing Final Verdict! Eric covered and the referee counted the pinfall to send Eric to the Smackdown final!
After the match, Eric didn't even celebrate and just stood over Justice and stared. Mr. Black climbed into the ring and patted his client on the back, but seemed to have other ideas in mind. The creepy client knelt over Justice as the "Savior" lay in pain... and performed a mocking prayer! The crowd lustily booed the disrespectful act, but Mr. Black continued with no remorse!

Backstage Interview
The cameras roll in the interview area where we see Lillian Garcia joined by the Bullet Boyz. Craig has his ECW title belt tossed over his shoulder and Tony is standing proudly by his side. The two are chatting and laughing while Lillian readies herself. When Lillian gets the signal, she speaks.
Lillian: "Hello fans, I am joined here with the Bullet Boyz. Craig, let's start with you. How would you describe your ECW title reign so far?"
Craig: "Lillian, I'm gonna be honest. I never thought it would be so easy! I mean, it's like you win this belt... and nobody even challenges you! It's been awesome!"
Lillian: "Hmm... Many people are expecting former champ Rusty to challenge you to a rematch. How do you feel about that?"
Craig: "Feel? I feel fine! I obviously beat him to win the belt, I have no worries about defending it."
Tony: "But as everyone knows, Rusty better be careful about challenging us."
Lillian: "Why do you say that?"
Craig and Tony glance at each other and chuckle.
Tony: "Let's just say that Craig is not going to lose this title for a LONG time. If ever!"
Then suddenly... Rusty attacks them from behind! The "2 Xtreme" superfan punches Craig and kicks Tony into the gut, before grabbing him and tossing him hard into the wall! Rusty then goes after Craig but the "High-Flyin' Criminal" fights back, and Tony joins back in on the brawl as well. Finally, backstage officials and crew break up the brawl and separate the Bullet Boyz from Rusty, but it's clear this fight isn't done.
Rusty: "Hey man! I want my rematch! I want it next week! I WANT MY TITLE BACK!"
Craig: "FINE! I'm gonna bust you apart, you little punk!"
Rusty pushes off the officials holding him back and walks away. Craig and Tony ease up, but they do not appear to be happy. The camera zooms in on their angry faces as the segment ends.

MAIN EVENT:
Melina (w/ Ace) vs. Eve (w/ Rebel Ford)
It is a surprising Divas matchup that closes the show, as Melina makes a rare appearance on Smackdown to take on the Women's champ in a non-title match. Melina comes out first with Ace by her side, and the crowd is unsure how to react to this unlikely couple. While Melina readies herself in the ring, the crowd gives Eve and Rebel a very resounding welcome! The champs come out and Eve waves to the crowd on her way to the ring, but Rebel trails behind and is just glaring at Ace and Melina. Before climbing into the ring, Eve tries to calm him and assure him that everything will be fine.
The match itself was actually very even between the female grapplers, with Melina using her quickness to daze the Women's champ and Eve landing some very strong moves. Eve gets more and more frustrated as the match goes on, and she just can't seem to put Melina away. Rebel's frustration starts to grow as well, especially after Ace starts to taunt from the opposite side of the ring. The tension in and around the ring is rising... fast.
Finally, Rebel can't control it anymore and... he starts brawling with Ace outside the ring! The two rivals go at it and the fans start roaring! The brawl outside the ring begins to distract Eve in the ring, as calls out to Rebel to stop the fight! But Eve loses track of Melina, and the Hollywood starlet waits patiently... and catches Eve with a hurricanrana pin combo! The Women's champ can't wiggle free, and the referee is able to count the 3!
The crowd is shocked as Melina pulls off the upset over the Women's champ! Outside the ring, Ace tosses Rebel hard into the barricade to end the brawl! He joins Melina on the ramp and the two celebrate the huge victory! Rebel staggers into the ring, where he checks on a very distraught Eve. The two console each other but can't believe what just transpired. The show closed with Melina and Ace raising their arms on the stage!

Week 4
The blue brand gears up for the upcoming King of the Ring PPV with one final LIVE episode in Toronto, Canada!
ECW Championship:
Craig Bullet (C) vs. Rusty
The rematch between Craig Bullet and Rusty sprung up after the very angry "2 Xtreme" superfan attacked the Bullet Boyz during a backstage interview and very loudly demanded this match. Craig beat Rusty in a Ladder match last month at the Extreme Rules PPV to win the belt, and this feud had reached near-explosive heights!
The champ entered first and taunted the crowd by constantly pointing out the belt around his waist, which forced the crowd into negative responses. The "High-Flyin' Criminal" climbed into the ring and did his signature backflip off the turnbuckle, and seemed to be ready for his first title defense. The crowd then gave a huge cheer as Rusty's music hit, and the focused fan favorite stepped out onto the stage and took a moment to let the positive noise soak in. Rusty walked briskly down the aisle but...
... Tony attacked him from behind! The crowd booed heavily as Craig's partner beat down on the challenger, slamming his head into the steel steps and tossing him into the ring! The ref has no choice to ring the bell, but Rusty's already down and Craig is standing proudly!
Craig takes advantage of the pre-match attack, but Rusty still finds a little strength to fight back. But the attack did a serious number on him, and Craig's quickness is too much to overcome. After smacking Rusty with his signature, Craig leaps onto the turnbuckle and lands hard with his Law Breaker finishing splash! The referee reluctantly counts the 3, and Craig has retained the title!
But the damage isn't done, as Craig returns to the ring and begins to attack Rusty more! Officials run down to the ring and pull Craig off of Rusty, stopping the vicious assault. Craig snatches his title belt and walks off, pleased with his actions as the crowd shouts negativity his way!
WINNER (and still ECW Champion): Craig Bullet

Backstage Segment
The camera switches to the GM office, where we see Smackdown GM Teddy Long standing against a table and looking through some documents. As Teddy works quietly, we hear a knock on the door and the footsteps of two people approaching. Teddy looks up with a smile and the camera zooms out to reveal... World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford and Women's champ Eve! The champion couple walks up to the table and they do not seem happy. Teddy greets them and pats Rebel on the shoulder.
Teddy: "Rebel! Eve! What can I do for you?"
Rebel: "Teddy, we have a serious issue on our hands. Melina has been loitering around Smackdown for weeks now. She needs to go back to Raw."
Teddy: "Well that's interesting. I thought last week's match..."
Eve interrupts him.
Eve: "Last week's match was a fluke. There's no way she beats me again. It was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and it only happened because I was concerned about Rebel."
Teddy: "Well now, I..."
But again, Teddy gets interrupted. In fact, it's the whole group that gets interrupted by 2 new people. The camera rotates and we see Melina and Ace approaching! They walk up and join in the conversation.
Ace: "Teddy, I think you need to hear both sides of this issue before you make a decision you will regret."
Teddy: "Uhh... okay?"
Melina: "Teddy, I beat Eve last week fair and square. Just because she got distracted means nothing. That's her fault for not staying focused! In fact, since I beat her... don't I deserve a title shot?"
The four rivals break into a squabbling argument and the comments are constant and indecipherable. Teddy glances back and forth between groups and finally gets fed up and speaks over them.
Teddy: "Enough!"
The groups cease arguing and turn to the GM.
Teddy: "Rebel and Eve, I hear your argument and you have valid points. On the other hand, Melina technically makes a valid point as well. We are going to have to settle this somehow... and you know what? I've got a great idea!"
Teddy quickly scribbles down some thoughts as the 4 rivals look at each other in confusion. Teddy then turns back and continues.
Teddy: "I've got an idea for a match for this Sunday's PPV. All of your concerns will be heard and handled appropriately. I will draw up some papers and we will have a contract signing... tonight! I will explain all the details at that time. So right now... get out! I've got lots of work to do!"
Melina and Ace seem intrigued and walk off, while Rebel and Eve look at Teddy with confused looks. Teddy waves them off again and the champs reluctantly leave as the segment ends!

Tornado Tag Match:
Zach Wesley & Billy Carter vs. Hitman Jack & Guy Justice
A surprising little tag match is created featuring 4 of the unfortunate King of the Ring losing individuals, pitting former Tag Team champs Wesley and Billy back together against Hitman and the "True Savior". Zach and Billy each make their entrances first, with Zach getting an unwelcome reaction from the crowd while Billy gets a mixed response due to his Canadian heritage. But the crowd gives loud cheers for Michigan-born Justice and Hitman, another grappler who hails from Canada. Zach and Billy discuss strategy and seem to be ready to team up again, while the first-time partners across the ring share thoughts and get pumped up thanks to the crowd's support. With Tornado Tag rules in play, all 4 men will be live at all times. The bell rings... and the brawl is on!
Zach is strong and Billy is quick, but Hitman and Justice just seem to execute their moves so well. The action is hot early and throughout the battle, with some crazy spots getting the crowd on their feet. At one point, Billy bounces off the ropes and clotheslines both opponents! Another big move features Hitman and Justice communicating and hitting matching neckbreakers at the same time! The momentum shifts back and forth pretty easily, but Hitman and Justice just seem hungrier for victory.
In the end, Justice brawls with Zach while Hitman focuses on Billy. Justice takes control of the "Mohawked Maniac" and following a nice reversal, he catches the big man with a heart-pounding Harsh Truth signature! Billy tries to intervene, but Hitman locks him up... and snaps him down to the mat with his Lethal Hit finisher! Justice keeps Wesley at bay long enough for Hitman to pin Billy, and the crowd goes wild!
The two unlikely partners celebrate calmly as the crowd whoops it up, high-fiving and shaking hands before raising their arms!

Backstage Segment
Near the refreshments area, we see the American Cool trio hanging out quietly. Audrey Vega is massaging Antonio Jordan's arms as he loosens up, while Krizz Torture is stretching close by. They seem to be in a good mood, chatting mildly to each other. But their warmup session is - of course - interrupted.
Joseph: "Ahh... here they are. Our American heroes!"
The G.L.O.W. team of Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury approach, their Tag Team title belts wrapped around their waists. Joining them is Vincent Serum, who paces behind them with a deep scowl on his face. Joseph and Quinn have very odd smiles. Antonio, Audrey and Krizz stand united in front of the them.
Antonio: "Not in the mood for the insults, Frenchy. What are you here for?"
Joseph: "So... you two are supposed to challenge Quinn and myself for these Tag Team title belts this Sunday. Too late for you to back out?"
Antonio: "You wish. We're taking you on, that's for sure."
Joseph: "There's that confidence we all love! So while I have you all 'pumped up' as you say, I'd like to propose a little challenge for this fine evening."
Antonio looks at his allies and they nod. He turns back and responds.
Antonio: "Okay. What you got in mind?"
Joseph: "As a little preview for this Sunday, I thought we could have a simple match."
Antonio: "A match? Like you and Quinn against us? That doesn't sound smart."
Joseph: "Ha ha, you silly American. Of course not! I meant a simple 6-man tag match. Joseph, Quinn and our associate Vincent here against yourself, Krizz and... wait... you don't have a 3rd partner?!"
Quinn: "No they do Joseph! Look! It appears that it is a girl!"
The European duo laughs as the American Cool trio start to get a little angry, especially Audrey.
Audrey: "Hey! That's not nice!"
Joseph: "What is the matter? We just wanted to point out that as you are a female competitor, that you cannot compete in a male tag match. Tsk tsk tsk... what a shame!"
Antonio: "Listen here, Frenchy... Audrey is tougher than all 3 of you combined. You are actually LUCKY that she can't compete in the match."
Quinn: "That's a bloody lie. But it's okay, I guess we'll never know since she can't join you."
Joseph: "And since she can't join you two, that means you have to find a 3rd partner to face us. If you can't... well... I suppose a 3-on-2 tag match would be just swell!"
Antonio: "We'll find someone..."
Joseph: "Oh really? Well we checked the match schedule and most of your American friends are booked up. It's too bad you can't recognize the brilliance of European wrestling. Oh well... good luck! We will see you TWO in the ring!"
The Tag Team champs laugh again while Serum steps forward and glares at the American trio before walking behind his allies. Antonio glances at his teammates and Krizz shrugs. Will they be able to find a 3rd partner before the match tonight? The camera zooms on as they chat quietly to end the segment.

Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black) vs. H.E.R.O.
Who is going to meet Renegade on Sunday at the King of the Ring PPV Final? After the party animal won on Monday to capture 1 of the final spots, it comes down to the Smackdown final between Eric Executioner and rising rookie H.E.R.O. to determine the other finalist. Eric E. enters first with mysterious manager Mr. Black trailing close behind, his hands behind his back as he stares darkly into the crowd. Eric seems to be very focused as he climbs into the ring, flexing and massaging his wrists as he awaits his foe. When H.E.R.O.'s Foo Fighters theme blasts throughout the arena, the crowd gives a raucous cheer for the young star! H.E.R.O. bursts through the curtain and rapidly heads towards the ring, climbing onto the turnbuckle and raising his arm to the crowd's delight. The crowd's reaction seems to anger Eric and Mr. Black as they glare around the arena. Once H.E.R.O. enters the ring, the two finalists engage in an intense staredown as the tension in the arena grows quickly. Who will advance???
The bell rings and the two grapplers lock up. Eric gains the advantage early on, using his brute strength to punish the rookie. The narcissist tosses H.E.R.O. around the ring, slamming him down powerfully and receiving approval from his creepy manager. But H.E.R.O. bounces back, using his speed to catch Eric with some nice counter moves and suplexes. But Eric reclaims control and in a very heated moment, the narcissist snatches H.E.R.O. by the neck and quickly slams him down with a Final Verdict finishing chokeslam! Mr. Black is pleased and nods, turning towards the crowd to taunt as Eric tries for a cover. The ref begins to count 1... 2... KICKOUT!!!
The crowd goes wild as H.E.R.O. is resilient enough to kick out of Eric's finisher! Both the big man and his manager are in complete shock!!! Eric has been putting away opponent after opponent quickly, but the rookie finds a way to stay alive! The momentum switch and the crowd's support gives H.E.R.O. a boost, as he bounces back and starts to wear down the narcissist.
But the boost doesn't last long, as H.E.R.O. makes a rookie mistake and tries for a big move... which Eric reverses into a powerslam! The counter rocks H.E.R.O. and gives Eric the edge he needs. The narcissist pounces on the opportunity, slamming H.E.R.O. down with his D.C. Drop signature. When the rookie staggers to his feet, Eric grabs him by the throat and again plants him with a Final Verdict! This time H.E.R.O. can't shake free, and the referee counts the 3-count to give Eric the win!
Mr. Black enters the ring and congratulates his client, patting him on the back as the narcissist stares down at his defeated opponent. The creepy duo leaves the ring quietly, ignoring the crowd's jeers as they exit. H.E.R.O. rises off the mat in pain as seems disappointed due to the loss, but acknowledges the crowd's support. Eric is going on to face Renegade at the PPV final, and needs only 1 win to claim a World Heavyweight Title shot!
WINNER: Eric Executioner

G.L.O.W. (Joseph T. Lutte & Quinn Cadbury) & Vincent Serum vs.
American Cool (Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture) & ???
The 6-man tag match is the final match of the evening, pitting the European trio of Tag Team champs Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury and the "Vicious Vampire" against Intercontinental champ Antonio Jordan and partner Krizz Torture... and hopefully an unknown 3rd partner of their choosing. The G.L.O.W. team enters first, strutting confidently to the ring as the crowd lets out loud boos. Serum comes down the ramp next, glaring into the crowd and creeping out everyone on the way. Then, the crowd gives an opposite reaction for the American Cool duo - loud cheers and chants, welcoming the fan favorites on their way to the ring. Antonio and Krizz gather at the bottom of the ramp and discuss strategy quietly, but an awkward long pause leads many to believe that... they might not have found a 3rd partner? In the ring, Joseph and Quinn begin to laugh as it seems they will have the 3-on-2 advantage they wanted!
But suddenly... Antonio and Krizz's expressions change and little smirks come over their faces. Confusion reigns for a moment but everything makes sense when... Angus' music hits!!! The Europeans' jaws drop as it seems that Antonio and Krizz have joined forces with Mr. Money in the Bank!!! The crowd erupts as the "Irish Giant" walks down the ramp and joins the American challengers at ringside! Joseph, Quinn and Vincent's looks of shock slowly turn to anger, and the crowd's wild response builds the intensity in the arena to extremely high levels!
Krizz and Joseph began the match for their respective teams, and some nice technical wrestling was shown. Krizz got the first tag to Antonio, and the duo combined for a nice drop toe hold/elbow drop double-team move. Antonio then laid into his rival, knocking him from post to post. But Joseph played dirty and reversed the momentum, dropping Antonio with a solid suplex before tagging in to Quinn. The "English Gentleman" came in and used some well-executed maneuvers (and a little cocky attitude to haze the crowd) to damage the Intercontinental champ before tagging to Serum. Serum was slow and deliberate in his moves, but continued to hurt "America's Favorite"... before a quick reversal allowed Antonio to reach for Angus!
The "Irish Giant" stormed in and cleaned house, knocking Serum around and dropping him from nearly 10 feet with a military press drop. Angus tagged to Krizz and "2 Cool" continued the barrage, even after Serum managed a tag to Quinn. Quinn was able to get in some good shots, but Krizz countered back and the Tag Team champ tagged in his partner. Joseph had Krizz reeling, but he tried an illegal pin using the ropes which caused the referee to stop the pin attempt and started an argument with the "Fantastic Frenchman". The argument allowed Krizz to crawl across the ring and tag in a hot Antonio! The "Mastermind" flew across the ring, clotheslining Joseph and following up with some big moves. Joseph managed a tag to Serum, but the result was the same as Antonio continued to his aggression. It seemed like Antonio was gearing up for a big move... but Angus reached over the ropes and tagged himself in!
Antonio was shocked but Angus assured him, and the "Giant" stepped up and locked up Serum in an Irish Squeeze! Serum was gasping for breath as Angus gripped him hard, but Joseph and Quinn stopped the hold just in time. Antonio stepped into the ring to send the European duo back to the corner, while Angus tagged in a now-fresh Krizz. Angus helped Antonio brawl with the G.L.O.W. team, while Krizz nailed a woozy Serum with a Torture Rack finishing powerbomb! The referee counted the ensuing pinfall, and they had scored a HUGE victory!
After the match, the crowd went wild as Antonio, Krizz and Angus all celebrated the big win. Joseph and Quinn were very frustrated as they exited the ringside area, walking out very quickly as their 3 opponents raised their arms to give the crowd a nice image!

In-Ring Segment
The mysterious contract signing was finally upon us, as the ring was set up with carpet and a nice table with chairs. The first two to enter was World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford and his girlfriend Women's champ Eve. They climbed into the ring but seemed very unsure of what this contract signing was all about. Next, Ace and Melina each made their entrances to the crowd's displeasure and stood across the table from their rivals. The tension in the ring was high, as neither couple seemed happy about this meeting. Then Smackdown GM Teddy Long came out, strutting to the ring holding a leather-bound folder. He seemed to have a skip in his step as he happily strolled to the ring and climbed in. He stood at the head of the table in between the two pairs proudly, glancing back and forth with a huge smile on his face. He started the proceedings.
Teddy: "Hello all! We are going to hold a simple contract signing for a match this Sunday at the King of the Ring PPV!"
The crowd gives a nice cheer as Teddy continues.
Teddy: "First of all, I would like to thank each of you for coming out here and participating in this event. I have spent time creating a contract for this match, and I would appreciate everyone's agreement and signatures. So without further ado... let me explain the concept of this proposed match!"
The crowd again gives a mild cheer as Teddy opens the folder and begins to discuss the match guidelines.
Teddy: "The match I am proposing is a mixed-tag, 'Winner Take All' match for both the World Heavyweight Championship and the Women's Championship! This match would feature the team of Rebel Ford and Eve against the challenging team of Ace and Melina!"
The crowd gives a loud cheer for the match description. A "Winner Take All" match for both titles?! Rebel and Eve do not seem pleased, but Teddy calms their fears a little bit.
Teddy: "Now there are some stipulations for the results of this match. First, if Rebel and Eve win this match, then they would of course retain their titles. But also, Melina... you would be forced to return to the Raw roster and you would be banned from appearing on Smackdown for the remainder of the year!"
The crowd cheers again and Rebel and Eve seem a little relieved.
Teddy: "On the other hand, if Ace and Melina win... then Ace would become the new World Heavyweight Champion and Melina would win the Women's Championship! And in that scenario, Melina would officially become a Smackdown Diva!"
The crowd actually boos that stipulation, but Ace and Melina seem happy with it.
Teddy: "Are we all in agreement with this match?"
The two pairs discuss separately for a moment, but both groups nod to show their agreement. Teddy sets the folder on the table and offers a pen to each couple. Melina and Eve step up and sign their names first, then give each other a serious glare. Next, the men approach the table and stare at each other for a moment. Rebel snatches the folder and signs his name quicky, and then shoves the folder into Ace's chest. The "Ultimate Superstar" seems offended by the move, but calmly signs his name on the contract. Ace hands the folder over to Teddy but doesn't move. Teddy accepts the folder and summarizes the meeting.
Teddy: "Well it is official. We will have a big match this Sunday at the King of the Ring PPV. Ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you..."
But before Teddy can finish, a brawl breaks out between Ace and Rebel! The two rivals go at it fiercely for a few moments, before their respective women step in and break it up. But the trash talk continues, and even the women can't help themselves. Then suddenly... Melina attacks Eve! The ladies brawl in the ring and now it's the men's turn to split them up! Ace lifts Melina off of Eve and pulls her to the nearest corner, while Rebel helps Eve to her feet and holds her back.
The camera catches the intense staredown between both couples as the show comes to a close! Who will leave the King of the Ring PPV with BOTH titles???
