Week 1
Tonight's Raw opens up LIVE from Phoenix, Arizona, one night after an explosive Summerslam!
In-Ring Segment
A giddy crowd erupts into very loud boos right as the show kicks off, due to the entrance music of... Mr. McMahon! The WWE Chairman steps proudly through the curtain and has a beaming smirk on his face, and steps aside to allow someone to join him. The crowd's anger grows even more when... the NEW WWE champ David Degenerate's theme hits and the "Dangerous Genius" walks next to Mr. McMahon with his title belt slung over his shoulder. The pair ignore the fans as they stroll to the ring with a massive amount of swagger. They climb in and the WWE Chairman requests a microphone and prepares to address the hostile crowd.
Mr. McMahon: "Hello Phoenix! I am extremely excited and proud to be out here tonight, standing alongside the NEW... WWE Champion... David Degenerate!"
Vince motions towards the champ and David chuckles softly as he glances around the arena, the chorus of boos still continuing.
Mr. McMahon: "I consider myself a gambling man. I gambled when I expanded this company in the 80's, I gambled on the Attitude Era... and I gambled on David Degenerate being the next face of the WWE! And guess what? I was correct again. David entered a tough match with the odds against him, battled right to the end and outlasted all to stake his claim to this brand's top prize. I could not be more proud of him! I knew I had picked a winner when I identified David as the right man, the right champion... and the right person to represent this company!"
Vince pats David on the back proudly and hands off the mic. He steps back and applauds as David nods towards the WWE Chairman with a sly smile. The crowd is still hot with anger, but David doesn't even flinch as he addresses the fans.
David: "Man, does it feel great to be standing here holding this title again. I was able to outlast 3 other fearsome foes, overcome all the odds and give every last drop of effort required to win this belt. I just couldn't believe the opportunity I received, and was fortunate to be able to make the most of it. When Mr. McMahon approached me a few weeks ago, I was shocked that he had chosen ME to be the next challenger for the WWE Title. Well... wait... not really shocked. I mean, honestly... who wouldn't choose me as the next top challenger? Look at me! I'm the best!"
The crowd isn't happy with David's sarcasm, but the champ continues.
David: "Y'all have to realize that it was only a matter of time before I reclaimed this title. I just latched on to the one man that could push me up the ranks quicker than normal, and wham!... now I'm champ again. Let's be honest... did you people really think that Carson Pain would actually survive last night? I made that chump bleed, knocked him out cold and took what's rightfully mine. I just can't see any scenario where..."
Suddenly, David is interrupted by... Carson Pain's music! The crowd lets out a resounding sound of relief and erupts into cheers for "The Original". Carson walks out angrily and paces the stage, glaring at the men in the ring. David turns sarcastically and seems pleased that his comments brought out his rival, and Mr. McMahon seems intrigued by Carson's appearance. Carson finally stops pacing and begins to angrily respond.
Carson: "I can't believe that your first comments as champ is to brag about a victory that is the furthest from legit as it could be. You got thrust into the match for unknown reasons, with no recent major victories under your belt. During the match, two of the guys involved got counted out and weren't even eliminated fairly. And even after we battled hard to the end, the only way you ended up winning was when Mr. McMahon interfered! Not only did you not win that title under legitimate circumstances... you should be stripped of it immediately!"
The crowd cheers for that idea as David shakes his head and scoffs at Carson's comments. He seems annoyed and glances over at Vince, who waves back as if to say he's not concerned. They look back at "The Original" and Carson rolls on.
Carson: "I'm not going to waste my breath. I know you have your little powerful helper in your back pocket, so I know that no matter what I say won't change anything. But here's the thing, you stupid little punk... I want my rematch. I don't care when or where I get it, but I deserve it and I want it. I want that damn title back and I want to prove to everyone here in Phoenix and everyone watching at home just the type of FRAUD you really are!"
The crowd starts chanting "FRAUD!" over and over again, which seems to irk the WWE champ. David shakes off his growing anger and an evil smirk comes over his face as he responds.
David: "I hear you concerns... but unfortunately, I don't seem to agree with ANY of them! You see... now that I'm champion again, I just don't see how you're worthy enough for a rematch. I mean... the last time I checked, I beat you twice last month on Raw and then again at Summerslam. That's a lot of losses in a short amount of time. I think you need to rebuild your credibility first before I would agree to a rematch. How about I set you up with a match tonight? We can see if you are truly capable of persevering in a high-profile matchup. I think I know the perfect opponent too."
Carson is angry with David's response, but begrudgingly agrees.
Carson: "Fine, whatever. I'll play your silly little game. Who you got in mind?"
David: "How about Shawn Midnight?"
Carson: "Great, sure. I'll take him on."
David: "Good, then it's settled. Carson Pain against Shawn Midnight... in an Extreme Rules match!"
Carson: "Wait... what?"
David: "Yeah man! You agreed to a match, so I gave you one. Plus, Shawn lost in his Hardcore Title match last night so I'm sure he'll be in an AWESOME mood. Sounds like a match a REAL champion would die for. Good luck, buddy!"
David and Mr. McMahon share a laugh as the crowd again voices their displeasure. Carson is angry, but it seems he has no choice but to accept. The segment comes to a close with a closeup of the fierce expression on Carson's face!

Brett Diamond (w/ Beth Phoenix) vs. Travis Roarke
The first match of the night featured the "Professional" pitted against the "Assassin"! Brett made his entrance first, with Divas champ Beth Phoenix proudly by his side, and seemed very confident for tonight's matchup. Then, Roarke came out and seemed very angry as he made his way to ringside. The bell rang and the match was on!
The men traded blows early, but Roarke's fighting prowess gave him the edge. But after he whipped Brett against the ropes, the "Professional" countered with a Samoan drop! The reversal stunned Travis and Brett capitalized quickly. Brett dropped Roarke with several suplexes and even locked him up in a alternate figure-four leglock. With his foe reeling, Brett planted him down with another hard Samoan drop and fired the crowd up as he prepared for his finisher! Corey Youngblood vs. Mack Wheeler
The former hockey player makes his entrance first with his usual crazed look, chugging a soda and carrying his signature hockey stick. As Corey loosens up in the ring, the crowd erupts into cheers as the reigning Hardcore champ comes out! Mack Wheeler defended his belt in impressive fashion last night at Summerslam, and seems pleased to hear the crowd support as he heads down the ramp. The men enter the ring and begin to battle.
Corey actually takes control early with a scoop slam and a nasty elbow drop, but Mack rallies back with his own moves before the action spills outside. Corey slams Mack's head off the announce table, but the "Human Semi" counters by tossing Youngblood hard into the steel steps! Mack rolls Corey onto the edge of the ringmat, and delivers a hard elbow into his foe's throat before re-entering the squared circle.
Mack takes the momentum and starts really putting the pain on Youngblood. Two vicious powerbombs puts him in control for good, and after reversing a neckbreaker attempt, the "Human Semi" drops his opponent with his 3-Wheeler signature combo of suplexes! Mack waits patiently in the corner as the crowd livens up, and after Corey staggers to his feet, the Hardcore champ nails him with his Speeding Semi spear! Wheeler covers and the referee counts the 1-2-3, giving the champ a solid victory tonight!

Backstage Segment
After the match, Mack Wheeler is walking backstage and is getting a few congratulations from crew members. The Hardcore champ thanks them and wipes off his forehead with a towel as he walks, title belt hanging over his right shoulder. Mack turns the corner and heads towards the locker room, but he encounters someone. Tank Blazer watches Mack walk by and claps his hands slowly and sarcastically. Mack notices and slowly comes to a stop, a confused expression on his face. Tank stops applauding and steps towards the "Human Semi".
Tank: "What an impressive win out there, champ."
Mack: "Uhh... thanks."
Tank: "I'm surprised you can focus out there in that dump of an arena. Why do we always seem to tour here? We need to tour better places when we travel through the Southwest. We need to swing through Oklahoma more often. We don't need to perform in Phoenix, Albuquerque... or anywhere in Texas."
Mack tilts his head as he eyes Tank's cocky smirk. He doesn't like what he just heard.
Mack: "Yo man, you gotta watch what you say. You know damn well I'm from Texas and am a Longhorn for life. Plus, I'm the Hardcore champ. You need to show a little respect. Don't need you talking crap about my home state."
Tank chuckles and shakes his head, which annoys Mack even more. The champ issues a little dig.
Mack: "By the way, does anybody even live in Oklahoma anymore? I can't even imagine they have arenas to perform in. I'm not putting my body on the line in a rickety wooden ring in somebody's barn."
Tank doesn't like the comeback and an intense staredown ensues. After a few anxious moments, Mack has had enough and brushes past the "Captain" and continues towards the locker room. Tank looks over his shoulder and watches Mack leave with a deep frown on his face as the segment ends.

Backstage Interview
The cameras roll in the interview area where we see Justin Roberts waiting patiently. He gets his signal and begins the segment.
Justin: "Hello all! I am pleased to be joined tonight by the one and only... DMK!!!"
The crowd can be heard cheering from the arena, and DMK steps calmly into frame. DMK towers over Justin but stands with his arms crossed, looking down. Justin poses his first question.
Justin: "DMK... you participated in last night's Fatal 4-Way WWE Championship match at the Summerslam PPV, but was controversially eliminated due to countout. Do you have any comments to make on that decision?"
DMK: "Well... I obviously wasn't too pleased. I've been fighting hard to try and regain the WWE Title, so I'm got to make the most of every opportunity I get. I suppose you could say I feel like an opportunity's been unfairly taken from me."
Justin: "Do you intend to remain in the WWE Title picture?"
DMK: "Of course I do. Winning the WWE Title is always my #1 goal. I may not have been directly involved in the final part of the match last night, but I'll get another title shot. I can promise you that."
Justin: "You were brawling with Gravedigger outside the ring when the decision was announced. After the decision, your brawl continued but you ended up getting smashed through a table. What is the status of your rivalry with Gravedigger?"
DMK: "Gravedigger... I don't know what it is, but he just seems to bring the worst out of me. I didn't intend to get counted out at all last night, but once he and I started squaring off outside the ring, I couldn't even focus on anything else. I just have all this RAGE intended towards him, and I can't control it. He just rubs me the wrong way, and his intentions are not pure at all. He wants to destroy me? He wants to win the WWE Title in order to prove himself? I don't see how those things would even come close to actually happening. I want to expose him once and for all, and maybe then... I'll be able to re-focus on the WWE Title."
A dark mood comes over the segment and DMK senses it. He looks up and starts glancing around, becoming more and more anxious as each second passes. Finally, a deep voice can be heard nearby.
Gravedigger: "I'm not finished with you..."
DMK turns but suddenly, Gravedigger attacks him! The "Graveyard Monster" incites a brawl, and DMK tries to frantically fight back. But it appears that Gravedigger's aggression is too much to handle, and 'Digger starts tossing DMK hard into large objects nearby. To finish the fight, Gravedigger locks DMK arms up in a full-nelson, and slams his rival hard into the edge of a metal crate. You can almost hear DMK's spine crack against the large box, and he groans in extreme pain as Gravedigger tries to catch his breath. 'Digger stares down his rival for a few moments, and walks away seemingly satisfied. DMK lays face down on the concrete floor, wincing in pain as the segment fades to black!

MAIN EVENT:
Extreme Rules Match
Carson Pain vs. Shawn Midnight
As the main event inches closer, the crowd starts to buzz in anticipation. As the opening beats of "Remember the Name" boom through the speakers, the crowd explodes into cheers for Carson Pain! Carson bursts through the curtain and is fired up, motioning wildly towards the fans as he heads down to the ring. He does his signature slide into the ring, and paces the ring anxiously as he awaits his opponent. Shawn's music hits and crowd reverses their reaction, sending a lot of boos out. Shawn comes out and seems pretty focused as he enters the arena. Shawn circles the ring and removes his entrance clothing, while Carson chats briefly with the referee. Suddenly, Shawn slides in and sneak attacks an unsuspecting Carson to start the match! Shawn clotheslines Carson and stomps him repeatedly as the crowd jeers the dirty tactic. Shawn attempts a quick pinfall, but Carson kicks out after a 2-count. Shawn tries to follow up by whipping Carson into the ropes, but Carson counters a move to stop the assault!
The sneak attack clearly angered Carson, as he showed some uncharacteristic aggression for most of the match. Carson climbs out of the ring and snatches a chair from under the ring, and when Shawn slides out near him, "The Original" wails him with a shot to the head! With Shawn reeling, Carson locks him in his N.Y. Nailer submission and really cranks the move hard before letting go. Carson then grabs a kendo stick as well, and after slamming Midnight's noggin off the announce table, he picks up the stick and whacks his foe across the forehead! The crowd is shocked to see this side of Carson, but he doesn't seem concerned and is obviously taking out his pent-up frustration. Shawn staggers to his feet, but Carson drops him again with a running kendo shot to the gut!
Carson then slides a table out from the under the ring and pushes it across the mat. But as he approaches his foe, Midnight surprises him with a clothesline! Shawn then lets out a little anger of his own, tossing Carson into the steel steps and eventually the barricade too. With Carson reeling, Shawn decides to look for a weapon of his own and finds... a sledgehammer! Shawn smiles as he holds it up to taunt the crowd, and then tosses it into the ring. He goes back to grab Carson, but "The Original" sends Shawn flying chest-first onto the barricade! Carson rolls Shawn into the ring and takes control with some impressive moves. He tosses Shawn into the corner and eyes the table he had picked up earlier. He leans the table against a turnbuckle and goes back to grab his dazed opponent. Carson drags Shawn over to the corner, and lifts up his opponent... and drops him perfectly against the posted table to send him through it! Wood shards spray everywhere as the crowd erupts for the big table break, and Carson just seems possessed!
Carson takes a moment to catch his breath and notices the sledgehammer laying on the mat. He walks over and picks it up, and it seems like he suddenly realizes how rough he has been during the match. Carson's face shows that some bad memories are rolling through his head, including last night's WWE Title loss. And then, almost right on cue... Mr. McMahon and David Degenerate appear on the stage! Vince and David seem to taunt Carson a bit, almost encouraging him to use the sledgehammer. Carson realizes that they wanted him to be overly aggressive, and he shakes his head in anger.
But the distraction allows enough time for Shawn to recover, and he attacks Carson to knock him out of his mental fog. Midnight tries to battle back, but he is still hurting from the table break among other things and Carson is too determined to win. Carson counters a move to regain control, and he uses normal wrestling tactics to finish off his foe. After locking in his Ankle Pain submission, Carson stalks his opponent and delivers his Fresh Cut signature! With Mr. McMahon and David watching angrily from the stage, Carson lifts Shawn up and drops him with a forceful Original Sin finisher! Carson covers and the crowd chants with the referee's count, and erupts into cheers when the ref pats the mat for the 3rd time!
After the match, Carson celebrates mildly but offers some good sportsmanship to Shawn by offering a handshake. Clearly annoyed and in pain, Shawn knocks Carson's hand away and walks out. Disappointed but unaffected by Shawn's response, Carson jumps onto the turnbuckle to celebrate with the fans before staring down his rivals. The intense expression on Carson's face as he and David lock eyes is the final image of the show!

Disappointed but unaffected by Shawn's response, Carson jumps onto the turnbuckle to celebrate with the fans before staring down his rivals. The intense expression on Carson's face as he and David lock eyes is the final image of the show!
WINNER: Carson Pain

Another LIVE edition of Raw kicks off from the Mile High City of Denver, Colorado!
Backstage Segment
Moments after the show opens, the cameras shift backstage to the GM office where we see... Mr. McMahon and WWE champ David Degenerate! The WWE Chairman and his hand-picked representative are chatting happily in the office, with Mr. McMahon leaned over a large desk and David sprawled out on a leather couch, title belt draped over his stomach. We enter their conversation midway.
David: "I thought for sure he was going to use that sledgehammer. God, that would've been awesome."
Mr. McMahon: "Yeah, it was interesting to see a different side of him. Don't worry, I've handled this situation before."
David: "You sure this will work out?"
Mr. McMahon: "I've got no doubt in my mind. We'll keep him chasing something he'll never get, and eventually he'll crack. And when he does, you'll be there to deliver the final blow."
David: "I like the sound of that!"
Mr. McMahon: "It's like my business strategy. Eliminate all competitors. Build your own brand. It's just good sense."
David nods in agreement, and a few deep thoughts seem to come up in his head. Suddenly, we hear the office door open and Vince and David glance to see who enters. Vince smiles proudly and he stands up to greet... Raw GM Stephanie McMahon! Vince embraces his daughter with a hug, but Steph purses her lips in a tense expression as she reluctantly accepts the greeting. Vince steps back and notices her scowl, and seems a little surprised by it.
Mr. McMahon: "Stephanie! What seems to be the matter?"
Steph: "Dad, I'm just going to come out and say it. I didn't really like the way you and David treated Carson last week."
Mr. McMahon: "What do you mean?"
Steph: "I didn't think it was very fair. Putting him in an Extreme Rules match the night after losing his WWE Title? And an unexpected Extreme Rules stipulation? He agreed to the match, you didn't have to make it harder for him."
Mr. McMahon: "Well, we thought it would be an entertaining matchup. And we were right! So no harm, no foul."
Steph: "Still... it wasn't right. Also, I don't think you should be allowing anybody besides executive members should be making matches."
She looks directly at David, who scoffs off her comment. Vince glances at him and responds to her.
Mr. McMahon: "David is now a trusted member of this company. I feel like I can trust that he'll make decisions that I approve of. He proved me right last week! Plus, as our reigning WWE Champion, he's due a few extra perks. Don't you agree?"
David smirks and nods in agreement, but Stephanie glares at him. David notices her glare and raises his hands in a passive manner. Stephanie turns back to Vince.
Steph: "No... I don't agree. You made me the Raw General Manager, let me assign the matches."
Mr. McMahon: "You can assign the matches and run the show. I just... want to throw my weight around every now and then. In fact, I'm will personally make another match for Carson tonight. So that way, it will be 'fair' in your eyes. Is that okay?"
Steph: "Fine. I guess we'll see. But... why not assign David a match tonight?"
Stephanie motions towards the WWE champ, and again he gives a disrespectful look towards her. Vince takes a breath and responds.
Mr. McMahon: "That would be entertaining, but I think David deserves another week off. The pressures of being WWE Champion have been intense lately. I don't want our proud, healthy champ to get worn out too quickly. We've got a lot of money riding on him!"
David stands up and pretends to be exhausted, which annoys Stephanie even more. Unable to find the right words, she shakes her head and leaves. Vince reaches out for her, but she moves too quickly and doesn't seem interested. The camera pans around and we get a nice closeup of a thoughtful expression on the WWE Chairman's face and the cocky attitude on David's as the segment comes to an end!

Tank Blazer & Shawn Midnight vs.
Mack Wheeler & Big Juan Santos
This tag match opens the actual wrestling of the show, as the Hardcore champ teams up with his Mexican ally to face off against two rivals. Mack Wheeler defeated Shawn Midnight at Summerslam to successfully defend his Hardcore belt, but crossed paths with Tank Blazer backstage last week. Tank couldn't help but talk a little trash about Mack's home state of Texas, but the "Human Semi" responded with his own underhanded comments about Oklahoma. Tank and Shawn agreed to team up for this match, and the crowd is curious to see if they can work together against a stronger team!
Tank enters first and draws a huge round of boos from the Denver crowd, but the angry "Captain" roars and tries to intimidate them. Next, Shawn comes out and seems very focused and loose for the upcoming tag match. Big Juan garners a solid reaction from the fans during his calm entrance, as the Mexican rookie purposefully walks to the ring and fires up the crowd with his signature hand raise taunt. Finally, the Hardcore champ enters last and gets a big ovation from the crowd! The former Longhorn heads to the ring focused and ready for battle, eyeing his rivals fiercely as he joins his partner. Big Juan and Tank agree to start for their respective teams, and this heated tag match gets underway!
Big Juan and Mack control the match early, with Big Juan impressively tossing Tank around the ring before the "Captain" gets a tag to Shawn, but Midnight receives much of the same. Big Juan sends in the Hardcore champ, and the "Human Semi" plants Shawn repeatedly with powerful suplexes and angry stomps. Mack drops Shawn with a German suplex and goes for a pin, but Tank narrowly breaks up the pin in time. Tank stays in the ring for a few moments, attacking Mack furiously until the ref is finally able to intervene and send him back to his corner. The attack allows Shawn enough time to recover and catches Mack off-guard, leading to a quick swing of momentum.
Shawn tosses Mack into the corner and tags in Tank, and Shawn pins Mack up against the turnbuckle so Tank can deliver a uncontested kick to the gut. Tank starts to deliver a little pain of his own, slamming Mack down with a powerbomb, German suplex and a nasty clothesline. Tank fires up, and plants Mack hard with his Captain's Choice finisher! He covers for the pin, but Big Juan stops the attempt before the 3-count. With the Hardcore champ reeling, Tank sends him into the corner again and tags Shawn back in, and again they catch Mack with a double-team move. This time, Tank holds the "Human Semi" in a headlock, giving Shawn enough time to scale the turnbuckle... and deliver a flying double-foot stomp to the champ's exposed back! Shawn continues the assault, and plants Mack down with a vicious spinebuster. With the champ down, Shawn winds up and drops a fist drop to his forehead... which busts him open! Mack rises off the mat in instant pain, reaching up and realizing the blood slowly seeping down his face! Shawn doesn't stop the attack, and things seem bleak for Mack and Big Juan.
But suddenly... Mack reverses a running move with a desperation German suplex! Mack uses the moment to crawl to the corner, and gets a hot tag to a fresh Big Juan! The Mexican brute clotheslines Shawn back down, knocks Tank down to the ringside floor, and then lifts "Daddy Mack" up onto his shoulder! Big Juan signals for his finisher, and the crowd erupts as he successfully lands the Ultimo Tango! Big Juan covers and the referee counts 1... 2... and the pinfall is broken up at the last second by Tank!
Despite the huge swing in momentum, Shawn manages to tag in Tank and the "Captain" regains control of the match. In an impressive move, Tank is able to lift Big Juan onto his back... and slams him down with a Captain's Choice finisher! A rejuvenated Shawn races across the ring to keep Mack at bay, and Tank has enough time to get the decisive pinfall!
Tank celebrates the hard-fought victory in an overzealous manner, drawing the angry ire of the crowd. Big Juan is disappointed over the loss, but a still-bleeding Mack helps him up and gives him a supportive pat on the back. The Hardcore champ glares at the "Captain" through the blood as Tank walks away!

Backstage Segment
The cameras roll in the parking lot, where we see a very familiar black Chevy Camaro pull up and park. The driver's side door opens and... DMK steps out! DMK looks around the parking lot for a moment, then reaches into the car to grab his duffel bag. He again pauses to glance around the parking lot, and when satisfied, starts to head towards the arena door. DMK has a very odd look on his face, as if he's almost fuming with underlying anger. As DMK walks, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler discuss the main event for tonight's show... DMK against Travis Roarke! The segment comes to an end as DMK whips open the arena door and enters.
Pre-Match Interview
Backstage near the entrance curtain, we get a shot of Carson Pain warming up. Just before "The Original" heads out, he is approached by Justin Roberts for a quick interview.
Justin: "Carson! A quick word before your match?"
Carson: "Sure, Justin. What's up?"
Justin: "Mr. McMahon put you into a submission match against Lee Money tonight. What are your thoughts about being forced into these difficult matchups against formative opponents lately?"
Carson: "Justin... I'm not one to back down from any challenge, but I realize what's going on. I know what Mr. McMahon and that bastard David are trying to do. They're trying to soften me up, distract me, annoy me, frustrate me. Well, that's not going to happen. I'm going to play along with their little game. Because here's the thing: I know that at some point, I'm going to be able to get my hands on David Degenerate. I'm going to get my WWE Title rematch. And when I do, I'm going to make him pay. So I'm going to keep my eyes on the prize and ignore the drama. You don't become an 'Original' like me without conforming to expectations every now and then."
Carson pats Justin on the shoulder, takes a deep breath and steps into the curtain.

Submission Match:
Carson Pain vs. Lee Money
After a few anxious moments, the crowd bursts into huge cheers as Carson Pain's music builds up... and "The Original" bursts through the curtain excitedly! Carson soaks in the crowd's adulation, and bounces down the ramp. But just as Carson is about to run and slide into the ring... Lee Money attacks him from behind! The fans' loud cheers transfer into loud boos, as Lee Money stomps on Carson to start the match! Lee lifts a groggy Carson to his feet, and quickly drops him with a Paycheck DDT right onto the ringside floor!
Despite the early attack and finishing move, Carson recovers relatively quickly and takes control of the match. Carson uses his athleticism to deliver an impressive array of moves, including his signature neck snap and an arm drag off the top turnbuckle! But with the win-by-submission rules in play, Carson begins to work Lee's legs in hopes of setting up his finishing hold. Carson stomps at his foe's knees, locks him up in multiple ankle stretching moves and ties him up in several mini-holds. Finally, Carson drops a reeling Lee with his Fresh Cut signature and fires up the crowd as he prepares to lock in the Ankle Pain!
But suddenly... Shawn Midnight races down to ringside! Carson doesn't notice him and is able to snatch Lee's ankle up in the hold, but the ref gets distracted by Shawn's interference! While the ref argues heavily with Shawn, Lee taps out! Carson lets go of the hold and leaps up happily... but realizes that the referee didn't see any of it! He makes eye contact with Shawn, and his jaw drops a bit. Midnight nods at Carson to taunt him, and smirks as he steps down off the apron and walks away. Carson's anger starts to boil over, and he attacks Lee again in hopes of getting an actual victory.
Despite a brief resurgence from "Cash", it's clear that Carson is not going to let this one slip away. He works the legs more, and after another Fresh Cut, Carson quickly locks in Ankle Pain again! This time with the referee watching intently, Lee has no choice but to tap out for a 2nd time to give Carson the official win!
Carson exhaustedly celebrates as the crowd cheers him on, but his celebration is cut short by the expected appearance of... Mr. McMahon and WWE champ David Degenerate! The power duo saunter out onto the stage and taunt their rival, but Carson shakes off his fatigue and offers to fight! Vince and David stay on the stage and ignore Carson's plea for violence, continuing to taunt him as the crowd buzzes with excitement!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, the cameras switch to the locker room where we see a dejected Lee Money sitting in front of his locker. He is wiping sweat from his brow and arms with a towel, but it's pretty obvious that he's not pleased with the way his match against Carson Pain ended up. The former Cruiserweight champ just hasn't had the best of luck lately. As he towels off, we hear the locker room door open and someone approach.
Renegade: "Hey man! Tough one out there."
U.S. champ Renegade is back in his home state, and he seems to be in a good mood. Lee cracks a half-smile but still is frustrated.
Lee: "Yeah man, couldn't get the job done. Thought I could catch him off-guard with that sneak attack. Didn't work out."
Renegade: "No shame in trying, though. I support ya!"
Lee: "Thanks man, I guess. Just need to get back on the winning side of things."
Renegade: "You just need to hang out with ME more often!"
Renegade bursts into laughter and Lee gives an awkward chuckle. It's starting to seem weird that Renegade is in such a happy mood.
Lee: "So uhh... there's been rumors flying around about you. Something about getting a psych evaluation or whatever. What's the deal?"
Renegade: "Ahh... just a bunch of bureaucratic bullcrap, man."
Lee: "What do you mean?"
Renegade: "It's nothing, man! I don't understand why people think I'm crazy. I don't think it's any of their business how I conduct myself, anyway."
Lee: "I agree. I don't... I don't think anything's wrong with you."
Renegade: "You see? You get it! I just wish everyone else did. I just wanna do my own thing, ya know?"
Lee: "I guess. I mean, you do have a match tonight, so you can't really do your own thing tonight."
Renegade: "Wait... what? I have a match tonight?"
Lee: "Yeah dude. You're scheduled to face Dylan Dynamite. Didn't you check the card?"
Renegade: "Nah... didn't care to look. I'm not really interested in that match anyway."
Lee: "Huh? Not interested?"
Renegade: "Yeah dude. Not worth my time. I got better things to do."
Lee is very confused now. He tilts his head to study his friend more, and then responds.
Lee: "Dude, you can't just walk out on a match. I went out there and got beat, but at least I went out there."
Renegade: "Yeah well... I got places to be. Plus, remember... I'm United States Champion. That means I'm not obligated to anyone. I make my own rules, I break my own rules. Simple as that."
Lee: "Wait, but you can't..."
Renegade: "I'm out, man. Gimme a call later, we'll meet up. Peace!"
Renegade dashes out of the locker room before Lee has a chance to reply. "Cash" shakes his head in confusion and looks around in thought as the segment comes to an end.

Alpha & Omega (w/ Master Kimoto) vs.
Corey Youngblood & Anarchy
The supposedly-revamped Japanese duo come out with their elder teacher, and prepare to take on the former hockey player and the Las Vegas brawler! Alpha & Omega loosen up as they head down to the ring, and Master Kimoto follows closely behind with a proud look on his face. Corey makes his entrance next and chugs a soda on the stage before heading to the ring, trying to intimidate the Japanese duo with his hockey stick. Finally, the "Little Hellraiser" heads down the ramp and joins his partner to talk strategy. Alpha and Corey start off the match.
Alpha weathers an early attack from Corey and gets Omega involved quickly. In an impressive showing of quickness and tag team prowess, Alpha and Omega take command of the match and batter Corey from ring post to ring post. Their performance is so dominating that Anarchy never even gets a chance to enter the match as the legal man! Omega drops Corey with the Tatsumaki, but Anarchy breaks up the pinfall to save the match. But soon after, Alpha spits the Mystery Spray into Corey's eyes and delivers another Tatsumaki himself! Omega races across the ring to occupy Anarchy, which allows Alpha to complete the finishing combo with a hurricanrana pin, giving them the victory!
After the match, Alpha and Omega celebrate as the crowd cheers them on for the eye-opening display of tag team dominance! Master Kimoto enters the ring excitedly, raising both of his students' arms in pride as the Denver crowd continues their supportive ovation!

Dylan Dynamite vs. Renegade
Dylan makes his entrance and appears ready for a tough battle against the U.S. champ, but his wait becomes awkwardly long. After the "Dynamite Kid" climbs into the ring, he waits impatiently for his opponent. Renegade's music hits... but the U.S. champ never appears! After the music slowly fades and quiets, Dylan stands in the ring with his hands on his hips, discussing and complaining to the referee. The referee begins a 10-count, and when he reaches 10 he calls for the ring bell! The referee awards a forfeit victory to Dylan! Dylan is annoyed as he accepts the cheap win, and then heads backstage.
WINNER (by forfeit): Dylan Dynamite

MAIN EVENT:
DMK vs. Travis Roarke
The crowd buzzes for the final match of the evening, and erupts into cheers when the bells of DMK's Metallica theme play and fire pyro blasts off the stage! DMK comes through the curtain and walks expressionless to the ring, but it's clear he's ready for a fight. DMK climbs in and sets of his signature ring corner pyro and awaits his opponent. Roarke's theme echoes through the arena speakers and the "Assassin" comes out, throwing some warmup punches on the stage. But Travis wastes no time... and sprints to the ring to attack an unsuspecting DMK! Roarke tackles his opponent, wildly throwing punches and connecting! Travis climbs off, signals a cross and drops his Headbutt from Above signature! With DMK reeling, Roarke lines up and perfectly times a nasty Spear! The crowd is shocked over the early advantage Roarke has, and he goes for the quick cover in hopes of pulling the upset! The referee slides to the mat and counts 1... 2... and DMK is barely able to kickout in time!
Travis pounds the mat in frustration, and DMK lays down face-first on the mat and tries to recover from the early assault. Travis goes back to continue the fight, and whips DMK into the corner. Travis runs at his foe looking for a strike, but DMK ducks out of the way and Roarke's head bounces off the turnbuckle! DMK then unleashes a flurry of strikes, and drops Travis with a hard sidewalk slam to gain control. DMK delivers a few more big moves, but Travis battles back. DMK groans loudly in pain, and Gravedigger delivers 2 more shots to the back as DMK falls to the mat. Week 3
Hopefully "Lady Luck" herself is in town, because another LIVE edition of Raw opens up in Las Vegas, Nevada!
Backstage Segment
The show opens up with a shot down the locker room hallway, where we see Hardcore champ Mack Wheeler arriving for tonight's show! The "Human Semi" seems pretty confident as he strolls towards the locker room, but all of a sudden his expression changes and his walk slows. He shakes his head, appearing annoyed and the camera pans back to show what has caused such a drastic change in his mood. Leaning up against the wall next to the locker room door is Tank Blazer, and the "Captain" has a little smirk on his face as he watches Mack approach. When the Hardcore champ reaches him, Tank speaks.
Tank: "What's going on, champ?"
Mack: "I don't have time for you, tonight. What do you want?"
Tank: "Oh nothing big. Just been thinking about last week's tag team match. It was such a fulfilling victory for me! I just wanted to share that feeling with you, pal. I mean, I know you were there and saw it up close... but I didn't want you to forget. I'm feeling so confident in myself! I don't know where I could go next. Who knows? Maybe... maybe there's a Hardcore Title match in my future. Maybe I could be looking for a title shot."
Mack doesn't appreciate Tank's outright bragging and sarcasm. He especially doesn't appreciate the threats made towards his title. He takes a deep breath and responds with a hint of anger.
Mack: "A Hardcore Title match? You honestly think you could challenge me for this belt? You've lost your mind. Plus, I'm not even sure if you're qualified for a Hardcore Title match. When's the last time you've even competed in a hardcore-style match? You don't just get title matches. You have to earn them."
Tank: "Earn it, huh? Give me an opportunity to prove it, and I guarantee that I'll show you exactly what I'm capable of."
Mack: "Well, you could obviously fight in an Extreme Rules match. And as for an opponent..."
Mack takes a moment to think, but a clear smile creeps across his face.
Mack: "... how about taking on my buddy, Big Juan? You may have pinned him last week, but I know for a fact that he won't be happy this week. And knowing he gets to face you one-on-one? In an Extreme Rules match? Ha ha... sounds like you're going to need a lot of luck in Las Vegas tonight."
Tank gives the offer some thought, but a sly smile comes over his face.
Tank: "Sounds like a GREAT plan. I gladly accept your challenge."
Tank and Mack share an intense glare for a few tense moments, and then Mack brushes past the "Captain" and into the locker room. Tank chuckles to himself, looks off into the distance and massages his wrists as the segment ends!

Backstage Segment
The camera switches to the parking lot, where a long black limousine slowly pulls in. The limo comes to a stop, and the driver hops out and walks to the back door. He opens it up and steps out of the way, allowing his passengers to exit. The first person to step out is... Mr. McMahon! The WWE Chairman thanks the driver, adjusts his suit and motions into the car. A few seconds later... David Degenerate joins him! The WWE champ removes his shades and smiles proudly before reaching back into the vehicle to grab his title belt and his duffel bag. Vince and David chat briefly before heading towards the arena.
The camera pans back a bit, and we can hear the arena door opening with a violent swing. Vince and David stop, and the "Dangerous Genius" rolls his eyes as he spots the person walking toward them. Suddenly we see... Raw GM Stephanie McMahon! The "Billion-Dollar Princess" briskly approaches her father and the champ, and she does not look happy.
Steph: "Where have you two been? The show has already started and our own WWE champ can't even show up on time!"
Mr. McMahon: "Honey, honey... don't worry about it. I took David out for a little pre-show snack. We're here now. What do you need?"
Steph: "Honestly... I need the WWE Champion in action tonight. You've let him sit around and do nothing since he won that title. It's time he starts proving himself to be a worthy champion."
Mr. McMahon: "Worthy champion? Oh, I have no doubts about that. Are you sure you need him to compete tonight?"
Stephanie almost seems offended that her father asks her that question.
Steph: "What? Yes, of course I need him to compete tonight!"
Mr. McMahon: "I'm not so sure that's a good idea, Stephanie. I mean... we just got done eating and..."
Steph: "Sorry to interrupt, Dad, but I don't need any excuses from you. Here's the thing... I'm still Raw's General Manager. If David doesn't compete in a match tonight, I'm afraid that I will be forced to... strip him of the WWE Title."
David gets super angry at that option, and Vince tries his best to remedy the situation. He calms down David first, and then calms down his daughter.
Mr. McMahon: "Now Stephanie, that is very rash decision. I don't think we need to take it to that extreme. But I do understand your need for the WWE Champion to perform. In fact... I've got the perfect tune-up match in mind. So go ahead, schedule David into the match card tonight."
Stephanie seems somewhat comforted by that, but David is still annoyed. Vince turns and sends a subtle wink in his direction, and David smirks and settles down more. Vince turns back to Stephanie as she writes down notes for the show.
Mr. McMahon: "Don't forget to schedule a little segment for me."
Steph: "For what?"
Mr. McMahon: "It's Vegas! That means it is... Raw Roulette Night! Plan out a little segment for me, and I'll get all the materials ready. Someone special is going to get a BIG main event match tonight! We will let the gambling gods decide the fates for 2 unknown competitors! Isn't that exciting?"
Steph: "Uhh... yeah. I guess?"
Mr. McMahon: "Wonderful. Thanks, honey! Have a great show."
Mr. McMahon embraces his daughter but she doesn't seem willing to reciprocate the gesture, and then heads into the arena. David scoffs at her as he walks past, drawing an angry glare from the Raw GM. Stephanie shakes her head and continues to sketch notes as the segment ends.

He paces the ring and loosens up as he awaits his opponent. Big Juan's music blasts out and the crowd livens up, cheering him on and hoping the Mexican rookie can pick up the win. Big Juan comes out and glares holes through his foe, clearly looking to avenge the pinfall loss he took last week. Big Juan climbs into the ring and slowly peels his t-shirt off, keeping his eyes trained on Tank. The referee signals for the bell, and the grudge match is underway!
The two grapplers trade blows right away, punches flying back and forth. He climbs out of the ring and reaches under to grab a kendo stick! Tank slides back in, raises the weapon and catches Big Juan with a nasty shot to the skull! Big Juan staggers back and Tank runs at him and snaps the stick across the rookie's gut! Tank delivers a few more shots to his foe as he lays on the ground, drawing a chorus of boos.
The men battle more and the action quickly spills outside. Big Juan gets the edge again, sending Tank flying into the steel steps. With the steps loosened from their post, Big Juan picks them up... and rams them into Tank's forehead! Tank staggers around, and Big Juan winds up... and delivers another shot! With the rookie in control, he reaches under the ring and pulls out a ladder! He slides it into the ring, and eventually tosses Tank back in.
Big Juan plants his foe with a few more moves, but when he tries to whip Tank into the ropes, the "Captain" reverses with a harsh German suplex! Tank takes advantage, landing a few more suplexes. Tank eyes the ladder in the ring, and leans it up against the turnbuckle. Tank picks up his opponent, and finds enough strength to lift him... and powerbombs him into the ladder! Tank fires up as Big Juan crumples to the mat off of the dented ladder, and readies himself for a big move! Big Juan climbs to his feet, where Tank lifts him onto his shoulders... and plants him with his Captain's Choice finisher! Tank goes for the cover, and the referee counts the pinfall to give him the win!
The crowd doesn't like the result, but Tank excitedly raises his arms to celebrate! The ref comes over to raise his arm, but Tank pushes him away so he can taunt the fans!
WINNER: Tank Blazer

"Raw Roulette" Segment
The camera switches backstage, where we see a beaming Mr. McMahon! The WWE Chairman stands confidently as he welcomes the viewers.
Mr. McMahon: "Hello everyone, and welcome to the 'Raw Roulette'! To honor our wonderful hosts, we are going to spin our specially-designed roulette wheels to determine tonight's main event. Here we have 3 roulette wheels... let's meet them!"
Vince walks a few steps over and the camera pans back to reveal 3 standing roulette wheels on a large oak table. Vince stands in front of them and introduces each one.
Mr. McMahon: "Roulette wheel #1 will determine the first participant in tonight's main event. Roulette wheel #2 will determine his opponent, and roulette wheel #3 will determine a special match type. I've taken extensive time to personally design these, and I hope that they produce an exciting matchup. Let's give them a spin!"
The camera zooms in and pans across the table to get a closeup of each wheel. Wheel #1 has 8 sections, but each one has "CARSON PAIN" printed on it. Wheel #2 also has 8 sections, but it features 8 different other possible wrestlers. Wheel #3 consists of 8 different match types, including Extreme Rules, steel cage and ladder matches to name a few. The camera pans back and Mr. McMahon gets ready to spin the first wheel.
Mr. McMahon: "Okay, here we go! I'm really excited about this first one. Let's see who the first participant will be!"
The wheel spins and Carson Pain's name just spins around and around along the obviously-rigged contraption. The wheel slows and comes to stop.
Mr. McMahon: "Oh wow! What a shocker! Carson Pain gets another main event opportunity tonight!"
The crowd gives a mixed reaction to the result, as having one of the biggest fan favorites in the main event was great, but the obvious pushing of Mr. McMahon of "The Original" into another tough match was frowned upon. Mr. McMahon steps over to wheel #2 and gives it a spin. The wheel clicks around several times, slows and lands on... Big Mutha Trucker! The "Resident Redneck" returned from injury last week, and gets a main event match tonight!
Mr. McMahon: "Wow, another surprising result! Big Mutha Trucker! So tonight's main event will feature Carson Pain against Big Mutha Trucker. Let's find out what type of match they will compete in!"
The WWE Chairman steps over to the final wheel and gives it a solid spin. The wheel spins around and comes to an eventual stop on... steel cage!
Mr. McMahon: "Steel cage match! Tonight's main event will be Carson Pain versus Big Mutha Trucker inside of a steel cage! Wow, what a matchup! Well, I would personally like to wish luck to both competitors. Thank you for joining me for this exciting segment. I'm now off to the ring, to join WWE Champion David Degenerate for his BIG match!"
Mr. McMahon steps away and the camera zooms in again on the roulette wheels as the segment comes to a close!

Pre-Match Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the ring where a local wrestler is waiting in the ring for the next match. David Degenerate's music hits and the crowd erupts into a huge round of jeers for the cocky WWE champ! It gets even worse as the fans come to realize that David's "big" match tonight is a simple tune-up match against an unknown local wrestler. David is joined by Mr. McMahon, who struts a few steps behind David as the WWE champ makes his way into the ring. David takes a look at the local wrestler, studying him up and down and just begins to chuckle. The local wrestler doesn't appreciate the disrespectful attitude and shakes his head. David asks for a microphone and steps back to address his opponent.
David: "You sir, are the luckiest man in this building tonight. Not only are you in Las Vegas, the place where your wildest dreams... or most frightening nightmares... could come true, but you get to face the actual WWE CHAMPION in a match! I mean... just think about that! You are so lucky just to be in the ring with me! Wow... what a lucky guy."
The crowd and the local wrestler can see right through David's comments, and the local wrestler impatiently tries to entice David to start the match. David notices his opponent's gestures, and waves him off and steps back.
David: "Hold up there, eager beaver. I don't think you know what you're about to get yourself into. I mean... I am the WWE CHAMPION. You realize that that makes me basically the greatest wrestler in the world. IN THE WORLD! But don't worry... I know you're young and inexperienced. I won't try to embarrass you. In fact, I'll take it easy on you. What do you say?"
The local wrestler doesn't appreciate being talked down to, and again tries to entice the match to start. David shrugs and hands his title belt to Vince. As David loosens up, Vince joins Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler at the announce table. Michael asks Vince about David's disrespectful comments towards this local wrestler, but Vince reiterates that this guy is getting a "good rub" by just being allowed to compete against David. The referee calls for the bell, and the match starts!

David Degenerate (w/ Mr. McMahon) vs. local wrestler
When the bell rings, the local wrestler races across the ring and attacks the WWE champ with a flurry of punches! David is caught off-guard, and can barely protect himself from the furious assault. The local wrestler winds up for a big punch, but the moment allows David to duck the strike and follow up with a few stiff shots himself. David takes control and starts executing a series of solid moves to his inexperienced foe.
After a few moves, David again gets cocky as the talent gap is very large. He starts toying with his opponent, landing a big move and then taking an extended chance to taunt. He entices his foe into specific move attempts, which he easily reverses into moves of his own. Vince talks up his ally at the announce table, and gives David a thumbs up to show his approval. But when David turns back to his opponent, the local wrestler catches David with a slick DDT! The local guy starts to deliver some nice maneuvers, which slowly starts to frustrate the WWE champ and fires the crowd up!
Angry and annoyed, David starts to resort to dirty tactics. David distracts the referee after breaking a submission hold, and with the ref's attention elsewhere, David delivers a nasty low blow to his opponent! The dirty move is enough to turn the tide again, and David is no longer in a playful mood. He starts giving some of his more powerful moves to his opponent, and trash talks angrily after each one. The local wrestler can't seem to counter back, and David wastes no time going from one move to the next. With the crowd starting to boo him again, David decides to send a final message to them. After snapping a Dirty Kick signature off his foe's back, David signals for his finishing move! David stalks the local wrestler, waits for him to rise and then locks him up in a double-arm hold. David lifts him and drops him particularly hard with his Genius Bomb finisher, and quickly turns it into a pin! The referee counts the easy 1-2-3 to give the "Genius" the victory!
WINNER: David Degenerate

The local wrestler can't seem to counter back, and David wastes no time going from one move to the next. With the crowd starting to boo him again, David decides to send a final message to them. After snapping a Dirty Kick signature off his foe's back, David signals for his finishing move! David stalks the local wrestler, waits for him to rise and then locks him up in a double-arm hold. David lifts him and drops him particularly hard with his Genius Bomb finisher, and quickly turns it into a pin! The referee counts the easy 1-2-3 to give the "Genius" the victory!
WINNER: David Degenerate
Post-Match Segment
After the match, David rises up from the mat and paces around his opponent. He does not seem happy with the way the match progressed, and even after a pleased Mr. McMahon enters the ring, the WWE champ is not in the mood to celebrate. Vince tries to congratulate him, but David brushes him off and continues to pace around the local wrestler. Finally David pushes the ref, who was checking on the local wrestler, out of the way and grabs his opponent by the back of the head. David raises his fist and appears like he's going to viciously attack him after the bell!
But before David can strike... Carson Pain's music hits! David and Vince snap their attention towards the stage, and a furious Carson Pain sprints from backstage! The crowd goes crazy as "The Original" heads down to save the day! Carson slides into the ring, but David and Vince exit quickly. Carson looks around and spots his rival walking away, hightailing it out of harm's way. "The Original" checks on the local wrestler, who appears to be okay, before turning back to stare David down.
Up the ramp, Vince hands David his WWE Title belt and the sight of the gold seems to soften David's angry mood. David raises the title belt to taunt Carson, and he and the WWE Chairman laugh off their attempted post-match attack. Carson watches them leave intently and stands strong in the ring, trying to send a message as the segment ends!

Backstage Segment
Backstage, we see Lee Money warming up in the locker room. He seems extremely nervous and keeps checking the clock on the wall. He reaches into his duffel bag and grabs his iPhone, but doesn't seem to get a positive response when he checks it. He shakes his head and starts pacing the room. Finally, the locker room door opens and Lee looks over, and a huge look of relief comes over his face. The camera pans back to reveal U.S. champ Renegade enter the room! Renegade strolls over to chat with his tag team partner, but Lee doesn't look happy.
Renegade: "What's up, man?"
Lee: "Dude, why are you so late?"
Renegade: "Me? Late?"
Lee: "Yeah dude, seriously. Like you should've been here an hour ago."
Renegade: "Hmm... well... I was busy."
Renegade doesn't seem concerned at all, and he starts to randomly gaze around the room. Lee is confused, and tries to follow Renegade's eyesight direction but doesn't spot anything. Finally, he snaps out of it and angrily addresses his partner again.
Lee: "Whatever, dude. But hurry up and get dressed and warmed up."
Renegade: "Warmed up for what?"
Lee: "We have a match. Like, in a few minutes. We're facing Alpha & Omega again. I want to get a little revenge on them for beating us a few weeks ago."
Renegade looks around again, but seems to be deep in thought. Finally, he shrugs his shoulders with a detached expression.
Renegade: "Ehh... I'm not interested."
Lee: "Huh? Not interested?"
Renegade: "Yeah it doesn't interest me. Revenge? Over 1 little tag team match loss? I don't see it."
Lee: "Well, what are you going to do? It's a scheduled TAG TEAM match. Two on two. You can't just leave me hanging out to dry."
Renegade: "I'm just not interested. You can go ahead and wrestle, but I won't be there."
Lee tries to respond, but Renegade is already heading out the door. Lee is shocked that his partner is abandoning him, and even more shocked that he's now been forced into an impromptu handicap match! The look on Lee's face slowly turns from shock into anger as the segment ends!

Lee Money & Renegade vs. Alpha & Omega (w/ Master Kimoto)
This scheduled tag team matchup has apparently been suddenly changed to a handicap match, due to the unexpected departure by U.S. champ Renegade. Lee Money's music hits, and "Cash" walks out super pissed off. He walks quickly to the ring, refusing to perform any of his signature entrance motions, and climbs in reluctantly. He stands with his hands on his hips and waits for his 2 opponents, knowing his partner will not show. To make matters worse, Renegade's music plays and the awkward moment of the party animal's disappearance passes by. Alpha & Omega make their entrance with mentor Master Kimoto accompanying them, and the Japanese duo come to the ring stretching out and loosening up. When they climb in, they seem surprised to see Lee Money standing in the corner alone. They discuss the situation with Master Kimoto, but their elder trainer motions to treat it as a normal match.
The bell rings and Alpha squares off against Lee to start this odd handicap match off. Despite Lee's valiant efforts, he can't withstand the impressive teamwork of the Japanese luchadors. Eventually, with no partner to take off some of the pounding, Lee wears down against his quicker foes. In the end, Omega temporarily blinds "Cash" with the Mystery Spray and follows up instantly with the Tatsumaki finishing combo, and his hurricanrana pin gets a clean pinfall for the easy victory!
After the match, Master Kimoto enters the ring and congratulates his students, but takes a glance at the beaten and bruised Lee. He chats with Alpha & Omega, and the duo nods in agreement. The luchadors approach "Cash" and offer assistance to him in a sign of good sportsmanship. Lee looks at them, slightly surprised at their offer... but eventually refuses the help. Lee winces as he climbs out of the ring and exits the area quickly, an angry look still across his face. Alpha & Omega take time to celebrate mildly, and each of them receive a proud pat on the back from their teacher.

In-Ring Segment
After a commercial break, we return to the ring where we are greeted by the entrance of... Raw GM Stephanie McMahon! Steph strolls down to the ring, waving to the crowd happily. She climbs in and acknowledges the crowd's positive reaction, but then settles in with a serious expression. She raises a mic to her lips and speaks.
Steph: "Hello Las Vegas, and I'm glad to see you enjoying the show so far. I've come out here tonight because there is an issue festering on the Raw roster that I believe I've come to an appropriate solution. So without further ado, I want to invite 2 members of the Raw roster to have a brief discussion. First, I would like to call out... Gravedigger!"
The crowd is surprised to hear his name, and after a few tense moments, his music hits! The "Graveyard Monster" walks down to the ring cautiously, tilting his head to study Stephanie's body language. He climbs in and walks past her, trying to intimidate her a bit but Steph stands firm. When Gravedigger settles into a corner, she turns towards the stage to call out the other man.
Steph: "And now, let's invite... DMK!"
DMK's theme hits and the Las Vegas fans emit a large collective cheer for him! DMK heads to the ring and seems curious to hear what the GM has to say. He enters and gives 'Digger an icy glare. Gravedigger steps out of the corner and balls his fists up, flexing his muscles in an aggressive stance. DMK gestures to him to bring it on, and it appears that we are going to have another brawl between them. Stephanie notices the escalating tension and quickly squashes it.
Steph: "Stop! Stop it, both of you! Stay in your corners. I did NOT call you out here to have another unnecessary altercation."
The rivals relax a bit but maintain their aggressive moods. They cease glaring at each other and give their attention to the "Billion-Dollar Princess".
Steph: "Gentlemen... over the past couple of months, you two have engaged in a fierce rivalry. I have no intention to step in-between any deep-rooted issues among anybody, but lately... you two have seemed to take it too far. It seems like you two can't even be in the same facility without it ending up in a vicious brawl or physical altercation. And here's the thing... I'm SICK of it! I can't have 2 members of my brand chasing each other around causing nothing but problems with no end in sight. I would rather that two rivals settle things the accepted way... in the ring!"
The crowd whoops it up for the intriguing idea of putting them together in an official match, and both men nod in agreement. Steph smiles slyly and continues.
Steph: "So I've come to a solution that I believe will hopefully settle the score once and for all. Gravedigger... you want to eliminate DMK and claim his place as Raw's darkest and most intimidating being. You see him as a major obstacle on your apparent path to claiming the WWE Title. And DMK... you are on this crusade to maintain your place as Raw's resident ass-kicker and prevent 'Digger's ascent to the title. You feel that you are the only one who can stop him. I see both sides of this rivalry, and I can respect both of your wishes. But clearly... only one of you can survive and advance. And with both of you willing to go through HELL in order to make their statement... what better way to settle this than in... the HELL IN A CELL match!"
The crowd erupts for the huge announcement, and Steph stands proudly as she seems confident in her choice. He gestures towards both men, looking for a response. Gravedigger looks at DMK and his eyes squint behind his mask, but the "Monster" nods slowly in agreement. DMK rubs his hands together and gives the offer some serious thought... before replying with a strong "Yes"! The crowd cheers as the match has been made, and both men step towards each other again as the tensions rise. But Steph again stops it and has another announcement to make.
Steph: "Now before you two make a move you may regret, I have another simple stipulation to add. Since you have both agreed to this match, you indirectly have also agreed to my next decision."
DMK and Gravedigger both give her curious and confused looks, as she continues.
Steph: "Until the Hell in a Cell PPV, neither of you are allowed ANY physical altercation. None. No brawls, no fighting, nothing. If any one of you even so much as bump into the other, I will SUSPEND both of you immediately and CANCEL the match. So be mindful of your whereabouts. I've alerted all backstage crew members and officials to be on the lookout for anything. So keep your hands to yourself, and prepare yourself for what might be the fight of your lives. Also... good luck, and let the best man win!"
Satisfied, Stephanie points intently at each man to give them one final warning before exiting the ring. The men watch her leave, but then turn their attention back to each other. A fierce staredown ensues, and they both slowly step towards each other as the crowd buzzes in excitement! DMK and 'Digger get very close, almost nose-to-nose and just glares holes into their eyes. Hell in a Cell just got a little hotter! The segment ends with a zoomed-in shot of their close encounter!

MAIN EVENT (Cage Match):
Big Mutha Trucker vs. Carson Pain
The ominous cage slowly comes down from the rafters, and the crowd begins to voice their thrill over the upcoming main event! After the cage is secured, the crowd erupts for the entrance of... Big Mutha Trucker! The "Resident Redneck" comes out confidently and heads to ringside, appearing to be back in great shape after recovering from minor injuries. Trucker steps inside the caged ring and waits. Trucker's entrance received a warm reaction, but it's dwarfed by the huge cheers the crowd sends out when Carson's theme hits! "The Original" comes out and acknowledges the fans' support as he approaches the ring, taking a moment to study the cage structure before climbing in. Carson and Trucker meet in the center of the ring, but they realize the tough situation they were put in. They share a friendly handshake, and the bell rings to start things off!
The two grapplers chain wrestle for a bit to start things off, but Trucker gains control after slamming Carson down with a body slam. Trucker tosses Carson into the corner, hitting him with a clothesline. Trucker lifts Carson and places him in the tree of woe position, before delivering a stiff kick to his prone opponent's jaw. Trucker whips Carson against the ropes, but "The Original" reverses with an athletic arm drag! Carson follows up with an Original Twist, and starts working on Trucker's ankles. He sends the "Redneck" into the corner, and then tosses him hard into the steel wall! Carson tries to lift Trucker for a suplex, but a reversal gives Trucker a chance to plant Carson with a piledriver! Trucker slowly starts to climb the cage, but Carson rises up and pulls him down hard to the mat.
Trucker still maintains control for a bit, trying to escape up the cage and through the door several times after big moves, but each time Carson is able to catch him. Carson swings the momentum when he reverses a running move into his Ankle Pain submission lock! Trucker groans in pain, but eventually breaks free. Carson uses the opportunity to escape up the cage, but a limping Trucker is just able to reach him. Carson continues his assault, landing impressive moves that gradually fire the crowd up. Finally, Carson gears up for and successfully lands his Fresh Cut signature! Carson follows up when Trucker staggers up, dropping him with his Original Sin finishing slam! Carson quickly tries to scale the cage, and somehow reaches the top of the cage. But just as Carson is about to step over and begin his descent, Trucker makes his way up and grabs him around the waist! A struggle ensues, but Trucker has just enough leverage to bring Carson back into the ring! Both men crash hard to the mat as the crowd elicits a cheer for the solid match!
The match rages on, but Carson's determination is just too strong for Trucker to overcome. After another Original Sin, Carson sends a groggy Trucker into the corner and sets him up on the top rope. "The Original" steps up onto the turnbuckle, and shows off some strength with a huge superplex off the top rope! Carson starts to make his way towards the cage door, and Trucker slowly realizes that his foe is making a break for it. Carson crawls quickly, and Trucker gives chase. But finally, "The Original" reaches the steel steps and tumbles out just before Trucker is able to grab him back, and the ref calls for the bell when Carson hits the floor!
Carson can barely even sit up as the crowd erupts into cheers, and he leans back against the ring apron. He is wearily able to celebrate, while a disappointed Trucker watches on from inside the cage. But Carson's post-match glee is cut short by... the sudden appearance of WWE champ David Degenerate and Mr. McMahon! Carson looks up at the stage and observes his rivals, and he is not happy to see them. David and Vince begin to sarcastically clap for the exhausted victor, and Carson just glares at them as he tries to catch his breath. The show comes to a close with the image of the applauding "Genius" and WWE Chairman gracing the screen!

Week 4
The final episode of Raw before the Hell in a Cell PPV opens up LIVE from Seattle, Washington!
In-Ring Segment
Fire pyro blasts on the stage, that haunting Metallica song hits and the crowd cheers for the expected appearance of DMK! DMK walks calmly to the ring to open the show, and climbs into the ring to set off his signature corner pyro as the fans continue to show their support. DMK requests a microphone and walks a slow circle around the ring, looking out into the crowd with a content expression. Finally, he raises the mic to his mouth and begins to address the crowd.
DMK: "This Sunday... Hell in a Cell... big stage, big match. Many of you don't really understand the dangers involved in a Hell in a Cell match. Hell... most of the locker room backstage will NEVER even understand what it takes to compete inside that steel monstrosity. But I do. I've competed in several of these matches, and each one seems to bump the intensity further than the last one. So far, I've picked up a win in each 1-on-1 Hell in a Cell match and to be honest... I've been lucky to do so. These matches don't just wear you down physically. It's the mental battle that's most exhausting. Knowing that you are contained within this huge metal cell, alone with a rival you can't stand in the least. Knowing that one false move can send you careening into an exposed cell wall at full speed. The winner of these matches is never the strongest, the fastest or even the best wrestler... it's the man who can withstand the psychological war that surrounds this battle. I feel like I've done a pretty fair job of overcoming that pain, overcoming that psychological threat. But this Sunday... this Sunday... might be the toughest battle yet."
The crowd buzzes with excitement as DMK takes a moment to pause. He looks around the arena again and then continues.
DMK: "You see... my opponent this Sunday not only wants to defeat me in this hellacious environment we will be placed in. He wants to ruin me. He wants me gone. He wants to take my place as the so-called 'dark' master. So not only do I have to battle the elements of the actual Hell in a Cell match... I have to battle the deep, dark recesses of a mind that doesn't have a normal line of thought. Gravedigger... is a beast. Gravedigger thinks that he is entitled to everything that I've accomplished. Respect, championships... fear. He wants me gone so he can claim his spot as the person that strikes the most fear into both the locker room... and all of you. You see... I worship the idea of the dark side of life, but I don't use it for evil. I entertain the dark thoughts... so I can help others from delving too far. I've seen how bad things can get when you aren't paying attention, or keeping yourself sane. I... I re-discovered that a few months ago. I pushed too far to the dark side. I forgot my values. I became a selfish, disrespectful punk. But some major wake-up calls brought me back. Losing the WWE Title was the first one. Gravedigger's return was the second. Gravedigger thinks that I'm in a weakened state, and that he can take me out. But here's the truth... I am NOT weak. I am STRONGER than ever. My mind is back where it belongs. And this Sunday... this Sunday... Gravedigger's going to see a side of me he never knew existed. Because at Hell in a Cell... inside Hell in a Cell... you come out a different person than the one that goes in. I've dealt with that reality multiple times now. So Gravedigger can try to threaten me, but I will NOT back down! This Sunday... Gravedigger goes down!"
The crowd gives a strong ovation for DMK's words, but a few moments later... Gravedigger's music hits! The "Graveyard Monster" steps slowly onto the stage and glares intensely at his rival. The crowd boos heavily, but 'Digger doesn't flinch. Finally, he starts to walk down to the ring. He climbs in and stands opposed to DMK, continuing to glare. 'Digger eventually responds back as DMK looks at him, unfazed and unafraid.
Gravedigger: "You silly little idiot... you honestly have NO IDEA what you've agreed to. Last week when the match was offered to us, I knew exactly what would happen. You would get overconfident, quickly agree... and not even realize what you've done to yourself! You have willingly put yourself into a Hell in a Cell match... against ME. How have you not realized what you've done? My one goal was to DESTROY you and eliminate your influence over this brand... and you want to put your body on the line against me? You... you are a lot less intelligent than I thought you were."
DMK doesn't appreciate the underhanded comment, but holds back. 'Digger pauses, almost seemingly to give his rival a chance to back down, but continues when DMK's demeanor doesn't change.
Gravedigger: "The fact that you are coming out here tonight to tout your abilities and basically claim victory already is astonishing to me. Putting yourself in this match is one thing... but even entertaining the possibility of winning? WINNING THIS MATCH??? Winning... is a long shot. A nearly-impossible long shot. In reality... simply SURVIVING this match would be ideal for you. Being able to walk out of Sunday's match on your own two feet would be a miracle. WINNING? Ha ha... no. I don't think that's a realistic goal. You're setting yourself up for a massive letdown... and a colossal failure in front of all these people you claim to be protecting. You can stand up for what you believe in... for what your so-called 'values' are. But at the end of that Hell in a Cell match... when you can't even stand up, period... you'll realize the mistake you've made. And by then... it will be too late."
A slight smirk can be barely seen from underneath Gravedigger's creepy mask, but DMK doesn't appear to be intimidated. DMK has one more comment for his rival.
DMK: "Nearly-impossible, you say? Hmm... that's all I need. A little window of hope. Your words don't affect me, 'Digger. This Sunday... the "Monster" gets slayed!"
The two behemoths stand toe-to-toe, glaring intensely at each other. You can feel the aggressive tension with every passing moment, and the crowd buzzes over the potential showdown that might take place. But with the "no contact before Sunday" stipulation in play, can they hold off??? Suddenly, a third person enters the fray and jolts both men out of their staredown. Raw GM Stephanie McMahon's music hits, and she comes out onto the stage! Steph quickly addresses the escalating situation in the ring.
Steph: "Gentlemen, gentlemen... may I remind you of the rule I set out last week. I offered you a matchup, but demanded no further altercations. I suggest you separate before one of you does something they may seriously regret."
'Digger and DMK glance at each other again, and both of them take a large step away from each other. They then turn their attention back to the "Billion-Dollar Princess".
Steph: "Since it seems that both of you have some pent-up aggression to let out, why don't I give you both a simple tune-up match before Sunday's match? You each can face off against a different opponent in order to prepare yourselves for Sunday's match. DMK... you get to compete in the main event tonight. And Gravedigger... your match is next! And remember... NO PHYSICAL CONTACT! Good luck, gentlemen!"
Steph walks off proudly as the focus returns to the ring. Gravedigger and DMK again lock eyes as the segment comes to a heated conclusion!

Gravedigger vs. Dylan Dynamite
With Gravedigger already in the ring, he loosens up for the first match of the night as DMK gladly joins the announce team for his rival's match. 'Digger awaits his foe, but glances over at DMK often. The Buckcherry theme hits, and Dylan Dynamite comes out! The "Dynamite Kid" looks determined to give 'Digger a challenge, and climbs into the ring fired up and ready. 'Digger simply stares at his opponent expressionless, and the bell sounds to start the match!
Dylan comes out firing with a flurry of strikes and kicks, but 'Digger counters quickly and gains the upper hand. Despite a few brief moments of offense for "Soldier D", Gravedigger controls the match pace throughout. After a Devil's Cross signature chop, 'Digger taunts DMK and the crowd as he prepares for his finishing move. Dylan staggers to his feet and backs up... right into a full-nelson hold! Gravedigger easily lifts up his dazed foe, and viciously slams him to the mat with his Cemetery Slam! 'Digger covers and the referee counts the pinfall to give the "Monster" the win!
WINNER: Gravedigger

Post-Match Segment
After the bell sounds, DMK makes a remark on commentary how Gravedigger has been "testing" him lately. He comments that he wants to administer a "little test of his own". As 'Digger calmly celebrates the easy win, DMK stands from his spot near the announce table... and grabs a steel chair! DMK slides into the ring and confronts his rival with it. 'Digger takes a startled step back, surprised that DMK is threatening to break the "no contact" rule! DMK wields the chair menacingly as the crowd buzzes in anticipation.
But suddenly, a smile forms across DMK's face... and he tosses the chair to Gravedigger! 'Digger catches the object in confusion and looks at it for a moment, before turning his gaze back to DMK. DMK raises his hands... and offers for the "Graveyard Monster" to hit him with it! DMK sticks his chin out and begs 'Digger to make a move, but the "Monster" doesn't cave in despite his obvious want to do so. Gravedigger holds the chair tightly, but you can see a subtle shake in his hands as he tries to hold himself back from an attack.
As the two rivals hold their stand-off, Dylan Dynamite slowly climbs to his feet in a daze. 'Digger, noticing his opponent rising off the mat, has a little evil thought seep into his brain. 'Digger glances back at DMK with a peculiar look, and suddenly DMK realizes what is about to happen. In a flash, 'Digger swings the chair... and smashes it violently over Dylan's skull! The "Dynamite Kid" flops down to the mat in a broken heap, and DMK is stunned!
'Digger looks over the result of his action, and seems oddly pleased. He turns back to look at DMK's shocked face, and a slight chuckle can be seen from behind his mask. DMK's expression turns into an angry scowl, and he glares back at his rival again. 'Digger tosses the busted chair aside and climbs out of the ring, walking away without looking back. The camera closes in on DMK's angry look as the segment ends!

In-Ring Segment
We return from a brief commercial break, and the crowd responds with cheers to the entrance of... Hardcore champ Mack Wheeler! The "Human Semi" briskly makes his way to the ring, and he does not seem to be in a good mood. He climbs in, grabs a mic and addresses the crowd.
Mack: "I got a problem to take care of, and I'm not going to waste any time. Tank Blazer... get your ass out here!"
The Hardcore champ stands impatiently as he waits for the "Captain" to answer his request. After a few long moments, Tank's music echoes throughout the arena! Tank strolls down to the ring, an intrigued yet confident expression on his face, and leans up against a turnbuckle. He gestures to Mack, offering the Hardcore champ to continue his rant.
Mack: "Yo man, I gotta know the answer to something. These past few weeks, you have been a serious pain in my ass. And it has all come out of nowhere, and I just can't figure out why. You mentioned last week that you might be interested in challenging for the Hardcore Title. Somehow, you managed to squeak by my pal Big Juan in an Extreme Rules match, so I know now that you can handle those tough matches. But here's what I don't understand... why are you suddenly so obsessed with me and this Hardcore Title? You've never been in contention for it before. Why now? Why me?"
Tank strokes his goatee and mustache slowly, thoughtfully considering Mack's question. The "Captain" pushes off the turnbuckle and paces back and forth for a moment, studying Mack's scowl. Finally, Tank responds.
Tank: "I got many reasons why I want that Hardcore Title. For nearly 2 years, I was associated with the Badass Coalition. And we had our ups and downs as a group, but for the most part we were a serious threat to anyone we didn't like. And one of my closest allies during that time was Big Mutha Trucker. Trucker thought he was the toughest one of the group, and he backed it up by winning that Hardcore Title multiple times. I was always a secondary player in the group, but I knew then and I definitely know now that I'm more than that. I'm just as capable as winning and defending that Hardcore Title as Trucker was. It's finally MY TIME to step out and prove to everyone here in this building and everyone watching at home that I can be the toughest man on Raw."
Mack is surprised by the honest answer. Tank takes a moment to pause before continuing again.
Tank: "Another reason is because... fighting is just in my blood. I was bred to fight. It comes naturally to me. I went into the military because I knew I was tough and I wanted to become a better fighter. They TRAINED me to fight. I don't flinch when it comes to tough combat. Not only am I trained to take down an opponent face-to-face, but I'm also trained to utilize WEAPONS. So a hardcore-style match? Ha ha... I've never been more ready for anything in my life!"
Mack is annoyed with Tank trying to intimidate him with his supposed military background, but Tank continues.
Tank: "And the final reason is... I don't believe you as a legit champion. Yeah, you can brag about your title win at Night of Champions and your successful defense at Summerslam. But... I just don't see it. I don't see what makes YOU qualified to be a Hardcore champ. I don't see what these people cheer for, and I don't believe you've done enough to convince me that you're worth a damn. I DARE you to put that Hardcore Title on the line against me. Your time as champ will come to an abrupt end, and I will prove to everyone that you've just been keeping it warm for ME."
Mack scoffs at Tank's comments and shakes his head in disbelief. Tank stares fiercely at his rival but has a sly smile at the edges of his mouth. Mack chuckles to himself and then responds intensely.
Mack: "Listen here, you fool. I can understand wanting to prove yourself after watching some friends have success. I understand having a fighting, combative background. But thinking that I'm a weak champion? Come on, man! You are telling yourself LIES! I'm the best Hardcore champ, man! In fact, I believe that I'm the best Hardcore champ EVER! And you know what... I would LOVE to prove it. This Sunday, I'm offering a Hardcore Title match to you. You get one shot to beat me and back up everything you say. The odds are clearly in my favor, and you have a major ass-kicking coming you way, but I'm willing to put my belt on the line to shut you up for good. What do ya say, 'Captain'?"
Mack steps up into Tank's face and glares angrily at him. Tank meets his gaze for a moment, but then turns away. He responds after a moment's pause.
Tank: "I'll take you up on that offer. And here's my thanks..."
A sucker punch from Tank sends Mack staggering back, and a brawl breaks out! The two rivals trade blows angrily, letting their frustrations out as the crowd buzzes with excitement! Tank sends Mack into the corner, taunts the crowd and sets up for a clothesline. But when Tank sprints at the "Human Semi", Mack fires out of the corner and nails him with a Speeding Semi spear! Mack lets out a roar as the crowd erupts into a huge cheer, and Tank rolls over on the mat clutching his gut in pain. Mack picks Tank up and tosses him over the top rope and out of the ring!
Mack grabs his Hardcore Title belt and raises it up, soaking in the crowd's cheers! Tank staggers to his feet, and slowly walks out, muttering angrily to himself as he glares at his rival! The segment ends with a wide shot of Mack standing tall in the ring!

Backstage Segment
We transition backstage where we see Divas champ Beth Phoenix chatting it up with Brett Diamond. The "Professional Glam" duo seem to be in a good mood as they laugh and smile throughout their conversation. Suddenly, Beth stops mid-sentence and backs away, looking past Brett at something behind. Brett notices her frightened gaze and turns slowly to check it out, and the camera pans back to reveal... Brittany Black! The "Evil Diva" approaches the duo with a stern expression.
Brittany: "Beth... glad I finally found you. You've been avoiding me lately. Why is that?"
Beth doesn't respond despite Brittany giving her a chance to do so. Brett looks at the "Glamazon" and studies her scared look.
Brittany: "You know that I'm the #1 contender. I haven't lost that status since June and I've been winning matches left and right. I'm due a title match. So why have you been avoiding me?"
Beth stammers a bit but responds weakly.
Beth: "I... uhh... don't feel very good. I don't think I'd be able to defend my title tonight. Maybe... uhh... get back to me later?"
Beth turns and briskly heads down the hall towards the locker room. Brett reaches out for her but she gets away too quickly. Brett is confused and doesn't know how to react. He glances at Brittany for a second but then chases Beth down the hall. The camera rotates to focus in on Brittany, and an angry scowl comes over her face as the segment ends.

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show with a tracking shot of... U.S. champ Renegade! The party animal has been oddly disappearing over the past few weeks, including taking a forfeit loss and abandoning tag partner Lee Money before a scheduled tag team matchup. The U.S. champ seems to be in an overly joyous mood, strolling comfortably down the hallway. Suddenly, a door opens as Renegade walks past and we see Raw GM Stephanie McMahon stick her head out. She notices who is walking down the hall, and calls out to him.
Steph: "Renegade! A word, please?"
Renegade comes to a stop and reluctantly turns around. Stephanie approaches him with a scowl.
Steph: "Renegade... I have not been very happy with these unexcused absences lately. You are the United States Champion. There is a certain expectations for champions around here, and you are not meeting them."
Renegade: "Expectations? I don't adhere to other people's arbitrary expectations. I have my own things to do. Why don't you just go fix the budget or something... and leave me alone?"
Stephanie does not like that response at all. She takes an annoyed deep breath and replies.
Steph: "Well my disrespectful friend... you have a scheduled match tonight. And I'm not going to be happy if you disappear and take yet another forfeit loss. So much so that if you do leave and forfeit the match... I will officially strip you of the U.S. Title!"
Renegade snarls in anger and sighs as Stephanie stares sternly at him. Renegade shakes his head and responds.
Renegade: "Fine. Who is it against? Who is my opponent?"
A sly smile creeps over Stephanie's face as she provides the answer to his question.
Steph: "You'll be facing someone who's been dying for a rematch. Tonight you'll face... BIG JUAN SANTOS! And of course... the match is next! Good luck!"
Stephanie nods confidently towards him and heads back to her office. The camera pans around to get a closeup shot of the angry expression on Renegade's face as the segment ends!

Big Juan Santos vs. Renegade
Big Juan's theme hits and the crowd cheers for the Mexican rookie as he heads to the ring, looking to avenge some previous losses to Renegade in a one-on-one matchup tonight. He climbs into the ring, and throws up his powerful arm to fire up the fans. Big Juan tries to stay loose as he awaits his opponent. Renegade's music echoes through the speakers, and the crowd emits a chorus of boos! A few anxious moments pass as the possibility of the party animal skipping out on another match and putting his U.S. Title reign at risk of being stripped slowly starts to seem likely. Big Juan becomes more and more annoyed, pacing the ring impatiently.
But suddenly... Renegade strikes out of nowhere! The U.S. champ catches Big Juan with a cheap blindside attack, drawing more disapproval from the Seattle crowd! Renegade quickly delivers a flurry of angry strikes and kicks, and then backs off to gear up for his finishing kick. Big Juan staggers to his feet, and Renegade perfectly times a Kick-olution! The Mexican brute collapses to the mat, and Renegade stares down the surprised referee. The U.S. champ walks over and demands the official ring the bell to officially start the match. Under the threat of violence, the referee reluctantly signals for the bell and the match gets underway in controversial fashion!
Despite the attack and finishing kick, Renegade's argument with the referee gives Big Juan enough time to recover. When the U.S. champ tries to continue his assault, the Mexican rookie counters with a nasty spinebuster! The crowd erupts as Big Juan starts to give out a little pain of his own, and Renegade can't seem to respond. Big Juan drops the party animal with a slew of stiff moves, and it starts to look bleak for the party animal. But after a hard scoop slam, Big Juan taunts the excited crowd... and fails to notice the sudden kip-up by a rejuvenated Renegade! The desperate U.S. champ waits for Big Juan to turn around, where he catches the Mexican brute with another jaw-busting Kick-olution! The party animal goes for the exhausted pinfall, and the referee counts 1... 2... KICKOUT!!! Renegade is shocked as Big Juan gets a shoulder up, even after 2 finishing superkicks!
Renegade tries to follow up, but again Big Juan gains control with his strength and the champ's obvious ring rust. Big Juan continues to slowly wear down his foe, and the frustration begins to bubble up on Renegade's face. Finally, after countering a running move with a DDT, Renegade looks around angrily and makes a bold decision... he heads out! The U.S. champ climbs out of the ring, ignoring the referee's orders to return to the ring, grabs his title belt and starts to make his exit! The crowd boos him again, but Renegade waves them off and continues towards the ramp. But Big Juan notices his opponent's getaway attempt, and quickly chases him down! The Mexican brute catches Renegade with a flurry of strikes on the ramp, and then grabs him by the neck and tosses him back towards the ring. Renegade tries to avoid his angry rival, but Big Juan heads off his escape paths and continues to deliver some stiff shots!
Once the action returns to the ring, a focused Big Juan puts the finishing touches on an impressive showing. With Renegade barely able to stand, Big Juan drops him with a powerslam and follows up with a signature falling headbutt! The U.S. champ staggers up, but Big Juan quickly lifts him up and signals for his finisher! Big Juan snaps him down with the Ultimo Tango, and goes for the cover right away! The referee counts the pinfall, giving Big Juan the HUGE upset!
After the match, Big Juan celebrates as the crowd gives him a raucous ovation! Renegade rolls out of the ring, grabs his belt and finally leaves frustrated and beaten. The Mexican rookie raises his fist and smiles proudly!
WINNER: Big Juan Santos

In-Ring Segment
The fans erupt into a huge round of cheers as Carson Pain's music hits, and "The Original" comes out with a very fiery attitude! Carson acknowledges the fans and slides into the ring, but the subtle hint of anger across his brow is unmistakable. Carson requests a microphone and wastes no time getting to the point.
Carson: "I try not to complain a lot about how things go down around here. I know there's always a little competitiveness and politicking in the back, as everyone including myself wants to be the top guy. We fight, we crawl, we dig deep, we find that motivation that pushes us to do whatever it takes to reach the top of the mountain. To be a champion! But lately... it's become clear to me that no matter what I do, no matter how many tough victories I string together... that there's a sudden barrier keeping me down. And it's unfair and cheap and it downright pisses me off. I'm sick of the way I've been treated lately, and I haven't said a peep about it until tonight. Because damn it... I deserve better! I won the WWE Title in one of the greatest moments of my life at WrestleMania and I went through hell the past few months trying to defend it. But then last month at Summerslam, I get put into a 4-way title match with the odds stacked against me. But again, I fought my ass off and I did whatever I could to keep my belt. And whatever controversy you want to stir up about the double countout doesn't bother me one bit. I was one of the final 2 remaining, and I had David beaten down and wore out. But then suddenly, the oh-so-righteous WWE Chairman that we've all grown to LOVE sticks his nose where it doesn't belong and costs me MY title. And now, David gets to waltz around here all high and mighty because he's got the most powerful man in this business watching his back. And every week since David basically stole the WWE Title from me, I get put into these difficult matchups while he gets to lounge around on his lazy, disrespectful butt and try to humiliate local, inexperienced wrestlers. I've been a good little soldier and kept my mouth shut, because I knew I had a rematch clause. I was just biding my time for when that 'Genius' bastard had to cave in and give me my rematch. Well... I want my rematch. And I want it on Sunday. I want to prove to everyone just how much of a fraud champion David is. And Vince's golden boy will be defeated and exposed, and I'll return triumphant. And that will make this whole terrible month worth it. Seeing the look on David and Vince's face when I stand tall, holding up that WWE Title and letting all of you share in the glory with me!"
Carson looks intensely out into the crowd as they voice their approval of his claim. Carson smiles slightly and takes a deep breath, ready to continue. But just as he's about to rant more... Mr. McMahon's iconic theme blares through the arena! The crowd responds very negatively, but Vince struts out onto the stage with the reigning WWE champ David Degenerate! David and Vince have very cocky smirks on their faces, and appear to be waving off Carson's legitimate claims. Vince and David chat quietly for a moment, drawing more anxious boos from the crowd and an annoyed glare from Carson. Finally, Vince offers a microphone to David and implores him to speak. David accepts it, nods confidently and turns his attention to his rival.
David: "Carson, Carson, Carson... my poor, perplexed friend. We've been listening to you blah, blah, blah for a while now, and you raise some interesting concerns. But unfortunately, we just don't see things the same way. You have been very valiant lately, but all your victories just don't seem impressive enough. I mean... you beat 3 guys that have each LOST a title within the past couple months. You've been beating a bunch of has-beens! I don't know how that makes you championship material. Rematch clause? I don't know if you agree, but facing a more talented wrestler like myself just doesn't seem appropriate. I do have a conscious, and embarrassing you in front of millions of viewers would not look good... for either of us! I'm sorry Carson, but Vince and I have come to a decision. The rematch you're hoping for just won't happen. You are still not worthy enough for it. Maybe next month after you pick up a few more legitimate wins."
David shrugs and hands the mic back to Vince, who pats the champ on the back proudly. Carson places a hand on his hip and shakes his head angrily, irritated over the unwarranted disrespect. David and Vince gesture towards Carson in a taunting manner, and "The Original" starts flexing and pacing the ring, deep in thought about how to handle this situation. But as the tension in the arena slowly grows, suddenly another person joins the conversation... Raw GM Stephanie McMahon! Steph steps out as David and Vince step aside, looking confused and concerned over her appearance. The "Billion-Dollar Princess" stands opposite her father and the WWE champ on the stage, glancing at them and an intrigued Carson in the ring. Steph has a very cross expression on her face, and addresses the situation.
Steph: "I think it's time that I step in and clear up a few things. I've been watching this little squabble unfold for weeks now, and I have been gradually becoming more and more irked by what I've witnessed. First of all, Dad... David... you have been extremely unfair to Carson. As he said, he's been a good little soldier for several weeks. He competed in every match you put him in and overcame every obstacle with an impressive string of success. All the man is asking for is something he is contractually obligated to. He is due a rematch, and he has more than proven himself worthy of it. Therefore, as Raw GM... I am officially granting Carson's request. This Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV... David Degenerate will defend his WWE Championship... one-on-one against Carson Pain!"
The crowd erupts into cheers and a relieved and excited look beams from Carson's face! The look of shock and anger on David's face is just as evident, while Vince scowls disapprovingly. David growls and makes a few comments towards Vince, who shakes his head. But suddenly, David grabs the microphone and responds.
David: "Listen here, 'Miss Power Trip'. You can't do that! I decide who I face for this title and when I face them. You can't just throw out title matches on a whim! This is ridic..."
Steph raises a hand and interrupts the angry WWE champ.
Steph: "Actually David, I have more than enough authority to make this match. As the official GM of the Raw brand, I can make any match between any of the competitors assigned to the brand. And that includes all the current champions. Which of course... includes YOU. Don't forget, there is a 30-day title defense rule that I can enforce at any time. So if you refuse to defend your title on Sunday against Carson, I can officially strip you of the championship. So you got a simple choice, Mr. 'Genius': title match... or a removal of the title from your possession?"
David growls again and looks down at the WWE Title wrapped around his waist. He thinks about the options placed before him, but finally responds with a decision.
David: "Fine. Title match."
Steph: "Wonderful. Good luck, gentlemen!"
Steph gives a little confident wave and leaves the scene as the crowd again gives an approving ovation. Carson bounces excitedly in the ring, knowing he has got his rematch finally scheduled. David glances at a concerned Vince with an angry expression, before turning to glare at his rival in the ring. The segment ends with Carson talking a little trash towards the fuming WWE champ!

MAIN EVENT:
DMK vs. Lee Money
The crowd is super hot as the main event rolls around, and they get even more excited when that familiar fire pyro blasts on the stage! Accompanied by his Metallica theme, DMK walks confidently to the ring as the crowd encourages him with a strong supportive response. After he sets off his signature ring corner pyro, he turns and eyes the stage to await his opponent. A few moments passed before his foe was revealed, and it was "Cash"! Lee Money came out with a very focused look, ready to break his recent losing streak and pull off a huge main-event upset. The referee confirms that each man is prepped, and calls for the bell to start the match!
The early part of the match was very hard-fought between them, as the obvious frustrations each man was holding in began to slowly be let out in physical fashion. DMK's anger over his intense rivalry with Gravedigger pushed him into hurting Lee with an array of stiff slams and power moves, while Lee's quickness and motivation to snap his losing streak allowed him to catch DMK with some painful maneuvers. But despite Lee's determination, DMK just seemed to be too tough to overcome. DMK planted Lee with a spinebuster and followed up with a fist drop to the forehead, taking control of the battle.
But just as DMK seemed to have the momentum, a familiar person make an appearance... Gravedigger! The "Graveyard Monster" strolled down to the ring, which drew both jeers from the crowd and the attention of DMK. DMK tried to maintain focus on the match, but it was hard knowing his rival was only a few steps away. The distraction let Lee gain the edge for a while, putting him in a position to win the match.
But DMK shook off the distraction and responded back, countering a running move into a huge momentum-swinging DDT! DMK rose up from the mat and sent an intense glare in Gravedigger's direction, trying to send a message that he would not be bothered. With DMK's focus trained on his opponent, Lee started to wear down. DMK's power moves fired up the crowd and broke down his foe gradually. After a Hell's Whisper diving move, DMK snatched Lee by the throat and dropped him with his finishing Checkmate chokeslam! DMK covered with his intimidating eyes locked onto Gravedigger, and the referee counted the 1-2-3!
WINNER: DMK

The crowd began to buzz anxiously as a possible confrontation between them was imminent, and DMK turned around to meet 'Digger's dark gaze. Gravedigger approached DMK slowly, and simply stood inches away and glared deeply. DMK breathed slowly, trying to catch his breath after the match, but met 'Digger's eyes without even a hint of fear.
