Year 3
Week 1
One night after a raucous Hell in a Cell PPV event, the WWE presents another LIVE edition of Monday Night Raw from Los Angeles, California!
In-Ring Segment
The crowd reacts to the opening appearance of... Raw GM Stephanie McMahon! She strolls down to the ring confidently and purposefully, climbing in and quickly requesting a microphone. The "Billion-Dollar Princess" stands in the center of the ring and glances around at the crowd with a smile. She takes a deep breath and begins to address the fans.
Steph: "Hello L.A.! Thank you for attending this evening to another great Raw show. I came out to open the show because I have a big announcement to make. It is time to make the United States Championship relevant again. Unfortunately, our current champion Renegade has not been representative of the history the title holds. So I have come to a decision to discover the next legitimate challenger for him, and I have chosen a very exciting manner in which this challenger will be found. Starting tonight and continuing into next week's episode of Raw, we will hold a Beat the Clock Challenge! We will have 8 competitors compete in 4 singles matches, with the person who wins their match in the fastest time becoming the new #1 contender for the U.S. Championship. Let's get our competition started with the first matchup!"
Stephanie stands proudly for a moment as the crowd voices their excitement! Stephanie exits the ring happily as the segment ends.

United States #1 Contender - Beat the Clock Challenge Match:
Dylan Dynamite vs. Shawn Midnight
The first bout of the Beat the Clock Challenge will pit the "Dynamite Kid" against "Daddy Mack"! Both Dylan and Shawn have fell short of their respective quests for titles recently, but they each get a chance to set the tone (and the first winning time) for the challenge. Dylan enters first to a supportive crowd, while Shawn draws disapproving boos on his way to the ring. The bell rings, the timer starts and the challenge commences!
Shawn gains the upper hand first with a series of power moves, and methodically wears down his smaller foe. Dylan battles back with a brief run of offense, but he appears to be no match for a determined Midnight tonight. After regaining control and blasting Dylan's face with his signature trio of fist drops, Shawn taunts the crowd as he revs up for a big move!
When Dylan staggers to his feet, Shawn quickly lifts him up and slams him to the mat with a vicious Say Goodnight finisher! Shawn goes for the cover as the referee counts the pinfall, giving Midnight the first victory in the Beat the Clock Challenge! Shawn brushes off the referee's attempt to raise his arm in victory, choosing instead to celebrate alone. As Shawn snarls at the jeering crowd, the ringside announcer reveals his official winning time: 3 minutes and 30 seconds! Shawn nods in approval at the announcement, knowing he has set a tough mark to beat!
WINNER (in 3:30): Shawn Midnight

In-Ring Segment
After a short commercial break, we return to the show and the crowd immediately reacts angrily to the entrance theme of... WWE champ David Degenerate! Last night at the Hell in a Cell PPV, David faked an injury outside the ring and deliberately took a countout loss to Carson Pain. The result gave Carson a cheap win but preserved David's title reign. After a few moments, the "Dangerous Genius" steps out of the curtain proudly and raises his outstretched arms to taunt the furious L.A. crowd. As David begins to walk down the ramp, his authoritative ally Mr. McMahon follows him closely behind. The WWE Chairman appears to be confident in his partner, gesturing in support towards him despite the crowd's fierce anger. The corporate duo climb into the ring, and David struts over to grab a microphone. With Vince standing pleased a few feet away, David smirks as he glances around the arena and studies the expressions in the crowd. The "Genius" addresses the people.
David: "I just LOVE the way you HATE me!"
The cocky remark draws even more boos from the crowd, and the tension in the building is growing by the second. This crowd does not like this man!
David: "You can boo me, jeer me, curse me out, whatever... I really don't care. You idiots out here, and the idiots watching at home, and the idiots who attended the Hell in a Cell PPV... you are clearly not as smart as the 'Genius'. I mean, did you see what I did last night? I fooled everyone, including the most gullible of all Carson Pain, into thinking I had suffered a serious injury during the match. Are you kidding me? How could anyone fall for that? I don't get hurt! I don't get injured! I barely even get sick. Well, I mean... I am a little sick in the head, but it just makes me wiser than all of you combined. I have a disease where I'm really, really smart and I really, really like to remind everybody of it!"
The crowd continues to overwhelmingly groan and shout disapproving comments at him. David takes a moment to soak in their reaction before continuing.
David: "You see, I knew that I had to do whatever it took to leave that PPV with this WWE Title. I don't care about one little countout loss. Who cares? He wasn't going to beat me anyway. Why waste my time? I shouldn't even have been out there! That punk Carson Pain doesn't deserve to park in the same parking lot as me, let alone compete in the same ring. I'm the best wrestler in the world, the smartest and slickest man in the world and I've got the honorable Vince McMahon himself standing alongside me! This isn't even up for debate. I'm WWE Champion and I will remain WWE Champion until I decide I've had enough. But just looking at the gold reflecting off this title reminds me of one thing... I'll NEVER get sick of holding this belt!"
He holds it up high to taunt the crowd with it, and the loud boos slowly fade into inaudible grumbling. Satisfied, David continues to take shots at his rival.
David: "Carson Pain is a worthless, suck-up waste of space. How can you like this guy? I'll bet you that he's going to come out here, complain and cry and whine and pout and beg for a rematch he doesn't deserve. I mean, it's one thing that..."
And suddenly, David is cut off by the sound of Carson's music! The crowd snaps out of their trance and erupts into a relieved cheer! David and Vince look towards the stage... but Carson's not here to talk! "The Original" comes sprinting down the ramp, and David and Vince scatter out of the ring as fast as possible. Carson slides in and tries to find his rival, but David and Vince have already made it halfway up the ramp. The corporate duo is a little surprised by Carson's aggressive actions, and "The Original" stares them down fiercely as the crowd voices their support.
Sensing trouble, David and Vince waste no time in exiting backstage. Carson breathes deeply as the camera closes in on his expression, which is clearly full of pissed-off fury, as the segment comes to an end!

Brittany Black vs. Melina
The next match gets underway as the fans react to the entrance of Brittany Black! The "Evil Diva" walks down the ramp briskly, seemingly on a mission to pick up another victory. But just as she reaches the edge of the ringside floor... she is attacked from behind! Melina wildly knocks her down and kicks her repeatedly, hoping to catch her opponent off-guard.
Despite the surprise attack, Brittany gains control outside the ring and recovers quickly. She nails Melina with a jumping side kick and follows up with a big clothesline. Then to add insult to injury, Brittany tosses Melina into the steel steps! The Hollywood starlet writhes in pain as Brittany glares into the crowd aggressively. Brittany walks over and lifts her weakened foe off the floor and rolls her into the ring, climbing in soon after to officially start the match.
Brittany continues to batter Melina with big moves, and the result never really seems to be in doubt. Despite a brief rally from Melina, Brittany squashes it with a countered neckbreaker. Brittany follows up with her signature Paralyzer Drop to daze her opponent for good. Melina staggers to her feet but Brittany is waiting, and the "Evil Diva" wallops her with her spinning Migrainer finishing kick! Brittany goes for the cover and the referee counts the pinfall, giving Brittany another impressive win!
WINNER: Brittany Black

Post-Match Segment
Just a few moments after the bell rings, the ref raises Brittany's arm but the "Evil Diva" seems to have other things in mind. She pulls her arm away and steps over to glare down at a beaten Melina, eyeing her oddly. Brittany then steps over her disrespectfully and barks at the ringside crew for a microphone. She snatches it and stands in the middle of the ring, leaning in an annoyed stance. She shakes her head a bit and then raises the mic to her mouth.
Brittany: "There is one thing that really pisses me off, and that's when people don't step up to the plate when they're expected to. And I'm not going to dance around it at all... Beth Phoenix, I'm calling you out. A few months ago, I earned the #1 contender spot and called you out then. Someone else got involved and you managed to retain the Divas Title, but didn't pin me. Since then, I've waited patiently and done nothing but dominate night in and night out. Well... I'm done waiting. There's no controversy this time around. There's no 3rd party. I am the #1 contender and I want my owed title shot. Beth, you know that there's pain coming your way and you're hiding from me. Come out, come out wherever you are. If you don't want to come out willingly... then I will drag your limp carcass out here and finish you off. I gave you one week to respond last time, and someone else answered it. I'm giving you one week again. And this time... YOU better be the one to respond."
Brittany drops the mic and stares out into the crowd, and gradually a sinister smile comes over her face. The segment ends with a haunting closeup of the "Evil Diva" with a stunned crowd watching on!

Backstage Segment
The cameras switch to the locker room, where we see Lee Money and U.S. champ Renegade chilling. Lee is watching some match film on a TV slightly off-screen, while Renegade is slouched in a chair nearby. Renegade looks bored and anxious and glances around the room randomly, fidgeting with his title belt that's draped over his right thigh. Lee clicks the remote and pauses the film, and glances over at his tag partner. He notices the boredom on his face, and leans back in his chair to chat.
Lee: "Dude, Stephanie called you out tonight."
Renegade: "Whatever, man. She's just a hater like all the rest. She can't faze me."
Lee: "Well she clearly got under your skin last week. Threatening to take your title away? That's harsh."
Renegade: "Yeah she's all power-tripping and what not. I'm over it. She can threaten me all she wants, I don't even care."
Lee: "She seems set on finding you a challenger. Beat the Clock Challenge? Someone's gonna get a title match against you."
Renegade: "Dude, I really don't care who even wins. They can put whoever they want across from me in the ring. All I know is... kick some ass, get a little nuts, Kick-olution, 1-2-3... match over. I'm untouchable."
Lee chuckles a bit, but a sly smirk comes across his face. He needles his ally with his response.
Lee: "Untouchable? Well, no offense but... you sure seemed 'touchable' last week against Big Juan. I didn't expect him to beat you like that."
Renegade leans forward in his chair and an irritated scowl slowly develops. He eyes his smirking partner for a moment before responding.
Renegade: "Yeah, he beat me. So what? I'm still an unbeatable CHAMPION. And I'll prove it tonight. In fact... I got an idea for a little match. You wait here, pal. I'll be right back."
Suddenly, Renegade stands up and bolts out the door. He's gone so fast that Lee doesn't even have a chance to question him. Lee cocks his head in confusion and ponders deeply as the segment comes to an end.

U.S. #1 Contender - Beat the Clock Challenge Match:
Anarchy vs. Big Mutha Trucker
The second Beat the Clock matchup features the "Little Hellraiser" against the most recent U.S. Title contender. Anarchy has been a pest to everyone lately, while Trucker's trying to rebuild his status after suffering two PPV losses to Renegade. Shawn Midnight's victory in 3:30 earlier has him in the lead, but if Anarchy or Trucker pulls off a victory in a quicker time, Shawn's lead will evaporate. Anarchy enters first, taunting the crowd and seeming ready to take on the "Resident Redneck". Next, the crowd cheers loudly when Trucker's Seether theme hits the speakers and the former U.S. champ walks in a composed manner to the ring, appearing to be focused and ready to fight.
The ring grapplers loosen up and circle around each other as the referee gets ready to call for the bell... but suddenly, Shawn Midnight's music hits! The current leader in the Beat the Clock Challenge strolls down to the ring confidently, causing a distraction! Shawn walks around the ring slowly, drawing glares from the men in the ring as he pulls up a chair next to the announce table. After the minor interruption, the ref officially signals for the bell and the timer runs!
Trucker and Anarchy go at it swiftly to start things off, as the two brawlers trade stiff punches. The furious fighting gives the stronger Trucker an advantage and he starts to wear down his opponent. But Anarchy uses his quickness to fight back, dropping Trucker with a hurricanrana and a hard DDT! Shawn seems pleased with the match progression so far as the timer ticks down fairly quickly, leaving only 1:30 left for someone to claim victory.
But despite the early edge, Anarchy can't put Trucker away. With the time running out, the "Redneck" rallies back starting with a huge back body drop! He follows up with a piledriver and a body slam, and dazes his opponent for good with a nasty headbutt! Trucker fires himself up as the timer drops under 45 seconds, and Shawn starts to get anxious as he watches on. Trucker lifts Anarchy onto his back, and plants him with a vicious White Trash signature move! Anarchy staggers to his feet as Trucker lines himself up, and the "Redneck" blasts him in the chin with a Big Foot finishing kick!
Trucker goes for the cover as the time starts counting under 10 seconds, and Shawn rises up from his seat holding his head in disbelief! The referee counts the pinfall, and the crowd erupts as Trucker officially claims victory in 3 minutes and 25 seconds! The "Redneck" rises off the mat proudly, knowing he's now in the lead for the #1 contender spot! He raises his arm to celebrate, while a very angry Shawn stomps around angrily. Trucker nods confidently and smirks at Shawn's antics as the crowd voices their support!
WINNER (in 3:25): Big Mutha Trucker

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we get a brief look backstage where we witness WWE champ David Degenerate and Mr. McMahon trying to sneak around the arena. It's obvious that they are trying to avoid a confrontation with Carson Pain. David glances around a corner and feels safe enough to walk down the hall quickly, with Vince trailing close by. As they walk quickly, a noise behind them spooks them and they duck into the nearest office. David gives the area one last glance before shutting the door quietly.
Seconds after the office door shuts, the camera pans back and we see a very angry Carson Pain come around the corner where David and Vince just came from. Carson looks up and down the hallway, clearly trying to find his rival and the WWE Chairman. Carson takes a few steps and stops right in front of the office door where David and Vince are supposedly hiding. Carson reaches out to grab the doorknob... but then shakes his head and pulls his hand back. He shakes his head in frustration and smacks the wall with the side of his hand before walking down the hall, still angry.
The camera pans around and focuses in on the office door as the segment fades to black.

Video Segment
The screen fades back up and a video montage begins to play. The video recaps the ongoing rivalry between DMK and Gravedigger and shows highlights from last night's Hell in a Cell main event between them. It was a brutal, emotional brawl between the dark rivals. DMK smashing Gravedigger through the top of the cell and following up with his Checkmate finishing chokeslam to get the victory is the final images of the clip, and the crowd reacts positively to the video.
We then join the announce team, where Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler discuss the preceding set of highlights. Michael comments that both men were advised to seek rest and recovery from last night's match, and neither of them are expected to appear on tonight's episode of Raw. Both Michael and Jerry share their thoughts regarding the rivalry, and Lawler wonders what is next for them after such a hard-fought match.
As the discussion ends, Michael transitions the viewers to a backstage interview.

Backstage Interview
In the interview area, we see Justin Roberts standing ready to conduct the quick Q&A session. The camera slowly pans back to reveal Brett Diamond and Divas champ Beth Phoenix, the "Professional Glam" duo. Brett is bobbing from side to side slightly, rubbing his hands and smiling confidently, while Beth gazes at the camera proudly with her title belt draped over her shoulder.
Justin: "Hello everyone! I'm glad to be standing here with Brett Diamond and the reigning Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix! First of all, thanks for joining me tonight."
Brett: "Hey, no problem. We got some stuff to share for y'all."
Justin: "Yes, you do. Would you mind explaining to the viewers why you requested this interview?"
Brett: "Absolutely. Earlier tonight, Stephanie McMahon revealed her Beat the Clock Challenge for a U.S. Title shot. I want in! Next week, I'm going to compete for that title shot. I don't care who I'm facing. I will beat Trucker's current leading time and I will earn that title match against Renegade."
Justin: "Wow, you sound very confident."
Brett: "Hell yeah, I'm confident! I've been biding my time, waiting for my opportunity and I think this is it. This is the time! This is my time! I'm going to be the next U.S. champ. The 'Professional' is about to take the next step! And I'm going to be fully prepared for next week. I'm going to have a tune-up match on Thursday's Superstars show, for anyone interested in watching the next champ compete. I'll be sure to give you a good preview of what's to come!"
Brett laughs assuredly as Beth smiles at him. Justin then turns his attention to the "Glamazon" for a few questions.
Justin: "Well Beth, your partner seems very confident. How are things going for you and the Divas Championship?"
Beth: "Things are going great, Justin. I'm about to enter my 5th month as champ next week, so I feel as confident as ever."
Justin: "That's promising to hear. Earlier tonight, Brittany Black soundly defeated Melina and called you out directly, demanding a title match. Do you have any comment regarding her status as the #1 contender and the potential for a title match between you and her?"
Suddenly, Beth's expression turns into a nervous mess. She stammers a bit as she tries to respond.
Beth: "Uhh... well you see... umm..."
Brett tries to encourage her.
Brett: "Come on, Beth. Go ahead! Speak your mind."
Beth: "I don't know... a title match? Well... umm..."
Brett: "What's wrong? Tell him you're gonna beat her."
Justin: "Do you believe that you can defeat Brittany in a one-on-one title match?"
Brett: "Hell yeah, she can. Come on, Beth. Tell him!"
Suddenly, Beth's odd reaction turns into movement as she starts to slither away slowly. Brett reaches out to her, but Beth turns quickly and leaves the interview area. Brett is confused and glances at Justin for a second.
Brett: "I... I don't understand. I'm sorry, Justin but I have to go..."
Brett scurries after her as the camera pans around to focus on Justin. The interviewer scratches his head in confusion as the segment ends.
Justin: "Hello everyone! I'm glad to be standing here with Brett Diamond and the reigning Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix! First of all, thanks for joining me tonight."

MAIN EVENT:
Renegade & Lee Money vs. Mack Wheeler & Big Juan Santos
The fans start buzzing with excitement over the night's final match - a tag team battle pitting the U.S. champ & "Cash" against the hoss team of Mack Wheeler and Big Juan! This must have been the match that Renegade claimed he was going to find earlier in the show, which is interesting that he posted a challenge to the man who lost the Hardcore Title less than 24 hours ago and the Mexican rookie that beat him last week! Renegade's music hits and the crowd responds with boos, but the party animal ignores them as he strolls to ringside. The U.S. champ has a slightly-crazed look on his face and begins to pace the ring oddly as he waits for his partner. Lee's music echoes throughout the arena, but after setting off his signature stage pyro and taunting the crowd, Lee is wary of joining his ally in the corner. He walks slowly towards him, studying his partner's mood carefully. He finally steps up onto the apron and tries to talk to Renegade, but he waves him off and refuses to respond.
Soon after, Mack and Big Juan each make their separate entrances but both of them seem to be in the same focused and angry mood. Mack does not seem pleased after losing his Hardcore Title to Tank Blazer last night at Hell in a Cell, while Big Juan has been annoyed by Renegade and Lee for months. The bell rings and Mack starts off the match against the U.S. champ.
A very odd pre-match interactions between Renegade and Lee led to a very odd match progression, as it appeared the U.S. champ was refusing to tag out to his partner. Renegade tried his best to take on both Mack and Big Juan by himself, but could only hold the momentum briefly. Mack and Big Juan's teamwork and aggression dominated the match, but their pinfall attempts continued to get interrupted by Lee. "Cash", despite being disrespected by his partner, broke up several pinfalls to keep the match alive and tried to convince Renegade to take a breather and give him a chance to help out.
As the match continued on, an interesting figure came down to the ring... Big Mutha Trucker! The "Redneck" strolled down to ringside, drawing the attention of the match grapplers and in particular Renegade. The party animal didn't appreciate his rival and the current Beat the Clock Challenge leader randomly appearing to distract. But Trucker's appearance made a huge impact and turned the tide of the match! With Renegade distracted, Mack and Big Juan took advantage with their power moves and teamwork. Big Juan sent the U.S. champ into the corner, and tagged in Mack. The Mexican brute and the "Human Semi" put together an impressive double-team move, whipping Renegade into the ropes and attacking with a clothesline & spear combination! Moments after they hit the move, Trucker had snuck over to his rival's corner... and delivered a low blow to Lee Money from behind! The ref didn't see the surprise interference, and "Cash" crumpled down to the ringside floor in pain!
With Renegade down for the count and Lee unable to break up a pin, Mack went for the cover and the referee counted the pinfall to give them the victory!

Post-Match Segment
The crowd erupted into huge cheers as Mack and Big Juan celebrated a huge win over the U.S. champ and his partner! Mack looked relieved to pull out a win as his pre-match anger from last night's title loss seemed to fade away. Big Juan gave him a solid hug and the two brutes raised their arms in victory!
Renegade squirmed on the mat, clutching his ribs after the nasty spear Mack gave him, and did not look happy to suffer another embarrassing loss. He rolls out of the ring and staggers over to the timekeeper's area, snatching his U.S. Title belt and leaving through the crowd.
Mack and Big Juan make their way up the ramp, acknowledging the crowd's support. They turn around to face the fans one more time, but as they celebrate... Tank Blazer's music hits! Mack and Big Juan's happy expressions turn to confused anger, and they back towards the stage. A few moments later, a very cocky "Captain" comes strolling out of the curtains! Tank stands proudly on the stage, caressing his new Hardcore Title slung over his shoulder. His taunting enrages Mack and he begins to step towards him, but Big Juan holds out his large arm and holds him back. Mack tries to push past him, but the Mexican rookie keeps him back and talks to him. Mack finally relents but glares angrily at Tank, while the "Captain" looks back with a pleased smirk as the segment ends!

Backstage Segment
After the main event match and post-match interactions end, the cameras switch to the parking lot for a final segment. We spot WWE champ David Degenerate and Mr. McMahon emerging quickly out of the arena doors, looking around frantically. It looks like they are trying to leave the arena before Carson Pain can find them. Mr. McMahon motions towards a town car, and the driver slowly pulls the car up to them. David looks around and seems extremely paranoid. As the car pulls up and stops, the driver steps out and quickly opens the door as Vince barks at him angrily for taking too much time. Vince climbs into the car and reaches out to take David's duffel bag and WWE Title belt. David takes one last look around the parking lot, and attempts to step into the car...
... but suddenly, Carson Pain attacks him from behind! "The Original" unleashes a flurry of punches to the unsuspecting champ, knocking him all around the car! David tries desperately to escape from his rival, but Carson stays one step ahead of him. One big punch sends David towards the open car door, and Vince reaches out and pulls David into the car! The door slams and the car begins to speed off, as Carson tries to continue his assault. Carson chases after the vehicle, but the car pulls out of the parking lot and onto the road. Carson slows to a jog and eventually comes to a stop, frustrated. The camera pans around and gets a close shot of "The Original" as he catches his breath.
The show comes to a close with the irritated expression on Carson's face filling the screen!

Week 2
A excited Dallas, Texas crowd welcomes another LIVE edition of Monday Night Raw!
In-Ring Segment
The hot crowd rolls into a mixed reaction as they are greeted to the entrance of... WWE champ David Degenerate and Mr. McMahon! It's pretty clear that the fans are torn over how to respond to the native Texan in his hometown and the WWE Chairman, especially after their recent actions. Last week, David and Vince did their best to avoid a confrontation with Carson Pain and barely escaped after "The Original" attacked in the parking lot. As David walks to the ring, he glances around the arena with a perturbed look on his face. He climbs into the ring and snatches a microphone from a ringside official, and quickly addresses the crowd.
David: "I'll be honest... I'm pretty happy to be back in my hometown, but I don't seem to like what I'm hearing. Is that... is that my fellow Texans BOOING me? That can't be true. I don't like hearing that. I don't like that you don't approve of me. Can't you see that I'm representing all of you by holding this title? Can't you see that I'm the ideal, perfect superstar?"
The crowd turns more negative as David panders to them, which angers him even more.
David: "I guess you can't see it. And... that's okay. You see, I came to the realization a long time ago that I was way, way smarter than EVERYONE in this city... and I'm glad I left town! I moved on to bigger and better things, while all of you are just simple, average people. I am the ultimate envy, the 'Dangerous Genius', the king of the mountain! I am the WWE Champion... and you are NOT!"
Now the crowd is in full revolt mode, jeering loudly as a smile creeps over David's face. Vince looks around and almost seems impressed by the reaction David has pulled out of the crowd. David closes his eyes and raises his chin for a moment, almost soaking in the sounds. He lowers his head and speaks.
David: "So now that I have your attention, let me address something serious. That damn Carson Pain! That dude is getting on my nerves. I don't like the way he carries himself and I don't like the way his mind works. He acts like he's in line for a title match, but I don't see him as champion material. He doesn't deserve to put his hands on me! Last week, he chased us all around the arena, forcing us to hide and avoid him at all costs. I don't like that! And then, when we finally try to get away at the end of the show, he attacks me out of nowhere?! That's the kind of person you support as a champion? He's not even worthy of being in the same building as me, let alone the same ring with this WWE Title on the line. No way! This whole situation is ridiculous, and I, as your WWE Champion... deserve better!"
Vince steps over and nods approvingly, giving David a solid pat on the back. David is a little worked up, but calms a bit as Vince chats with him. But his relaxation doesn't last long, and the crowd erupts for... Carson Pain's music! The WWE champ groans angrily and begins to pace while Vince tries to keep him calm. A few moments pass, and the hot crowd cheers when a confident Carson strolls out onto the stage! "The Original" stands with a slight lean, eyeing his rivals with a fierce expression. Carson raises his mic and responds.
Carson: "I'm so sick of hearing you talk, David. All you are is just a big fat lump of hot air. I'm sick of you running away from me. I'm sick of you sullying the honorable history of that title. I'm sick of you being unwilling to stand up for yourself. You know why these people hate you? Because you're not a legitimate champion! They look at you and they see a shell of a man, who only won the title through nefarious means. You are a fraud!"
David snarls angrily as Carson continues on.
Carson: "And I want to prove to everyone what the truth is. I want a rematch. A FAIR rematch! With no shenanigans or ridiculousness. You need to put up or shut up, pal. You want people to respect you as champion? Face me like a MAN and put that belt on the line. If by some miracle you win, then you would show everyone including myself that you are for real. But when I beat you senseless and take back my title, then I will prove that you were never a real challenger to begin with."
David wastes no time in replying back.
David: "I am a MAN. And I AM the WWE Champion. But unfortunately... I am just not willing to grant you another rematch! You had your shot, and I retained the title. You didn't get the job done. You don't deserve a 2nd chance! Move on... and leave me ALONE!"
Carson: "You don't understand how serious I am, David. I figured you would disagree to a rematch. So here's the plan... I'm going to give you an ultimatum. I'm going to give you exactly ONE WEEK to agree to a WWE Title match against me. If you don't agree to my challenge by next week... then I'm going to make things MUCH worse than what I did to you last week!"
The crowd reacts and Vince is surprised by Carson's threat. David just shakes his head angrily. After a few anxious moments, Vince reaches over and takes the microphone from David in order to respond to Carson.
Mr. McMahon: "Carson... I would advise you NOT to threaten the WWE Champion. You need to remember that I support David in every move he makes. And despite your claims, I view David as a legitimate champion. You also need to remember that I am still the WWE Chairman... and I have the power over personnel decisions. In fact, one wrong move and I can FIRE you right on the spot! So you need to be mindful of how you carry yourself, because I may not be in a good mood when you push too hard!"
David smirks and stands more confidently after hearing Vince's supportive comments, while Carson shakes his head and seems to chuckle to himself. "The Original" glances out into the crowd thoughtfully and then responds.
Carson: "Fire me? Are you threatening to fire me? Vince, I can't imagine that you would be that... RISKY. You see, firing me would simply escalate the situation. Firing me would anger me to levels I might not be able to control. Plus, firing me would let me loose from the constraints of working honorably in this company. If I were fired... I may just show up randomly, sneak past your sorry excuse for security... and STILL find a way to get my hands on that chump next to you! It's probably better to keep me under contract and keep me close. You wouldn't want me... attacking out of nowhere, now would you???"
Vince doesn't seem to like Carson throwing his threat back in his face, and scowls angrily too. Finally, Carson makes the final statement.
Carson: "One week, David. You agree to a rematch... or deal with the consequences. See you soon!"
The crowd cheers for "The Original" as he waves mockingly towards his rivals before heading backstage. Vince and David watch him leave, and then turn to each other. Vince and David irately chat as the segment comes to an end!

Beth Phoenix vs. Maryse
The first match of the night features the reigning Divas Champion against the woman she beat for the title back in May! The "Glamazon" slides in and tackles her unsuspecting opponent, delivering a furious round of blows to start the match!
The early attack lets Beth have control, but the determined Divas champ can't put her foe away. Maryse battles back after a few reversals, and eventually has Beth reeling. But a huge move turns the tide of the match for the "Glamazon", as her strength advantage pays off. Maryse tosses Beth into the corner and sprints at her, but Beth gets underneath her... and drops her with a huge powerbomb!
Beth follows up with a solid Fisherman's suplex, before finishing Maryse off for good with a Glam Slam! The Divas champ wastes no time going for the pinfall, getting the successful 3-count for the win!
WINNER: Beth Phoenix

Post-Match Segment
After the match, Beth celebrates proudly with her title but attempts to show some sportsmanship. Maryse rises off the mat but Beth approaches her and extends a hand for a post-match handshake. Maryse is confused at first, but gradually her expression becomes one of disgust. She shakes her head and scoffs at Beth's gesture before walking out. Beth seems hurt and frowns as she tosses her Divas title over her shoulder.
As Maryse heads up the ramp, someone else makes their entrance... Brittany Black! The rocking theme of the "Evil Diva" blares over the speakers, drawing a surprised reaction from Maryse and an annoyed look from the Divas champ. Maryse stops on the stage briefly as Brittany strolls out, but it's obvious right away that she is not the target. Brittany gives Maryse a dark glare, but the French-Canadian beauty ignores the intimidation and walks to the back. The "Evil Diva" then turns her attention to the Divas champ, and addresses her with a smirk on her face.
Brittany: "Is it becoming more and more apparent, Beth? You are pathetic! Now you're resorting to handshakes? Nobody trusts you anymore, so now you're desperate to earn respect from anyone. I've been chatting with the ladies in the locker room lately. They all think that you're a flake, a phony. You aren't worthy enough to be the Divas Champion! You are simply a placeholder at this point. Someone... someone... will come along and take that title from you!"
Beth scowls angrily, but doesn't respond yet. She glances down at her title belt and grips it a little tighter as Brittany continues.
Brittany: "I've been waiting patiently for the right time to put forth a challenge for that title. While you've been parading around as an unworthy champion, I've been kicking ass and taking names. I don't back down from challenges. I don't shudder in the face of adversity. And when I challenged you for a one-on-one title match, I meant it. I want a shot at that belt. I want to prove to everyone what a farce you really are."
Finally, Beth musters up the courage and responds angrily.
Beth: "As champion, I represent the entire roster of female grapplers. And I do it... proudly! You won't do the same if you were to win this title. You think that winning this title is the end? That's just the beginning! The pressure of being hunted, watching your back at all times... you don't know how to handle that! You think I'm being afraid? You think I'm avoiding your challenge? You must be crazy. I'm actually protecting you! Protecting you... from the most embarrassing loss of your career!"
Brittany doesn't like Beth's response, but the "Glamazon" continues.
Beth: "But clearly, you are not interested in that. So you know what rookie? I AM a worthy champion. I going to protect the integrity of this title and properly represent strong women everywhere. And I'm going to accept your challenge. At the Judgment Day PPV, I will put the Divas Title on the line against you. But trust me... just being in the ring with the champ is the closest you'll ever get to the championship!"
The crowd gives Beth a resounding round of support, while Brittany angrily stares her down. The segment comes to an end with the rivals fiercely locking eyes!

Backstage Interview
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show and are greeted by the smug smile of Hardcore champ Tank Blazer! The camera slowly pans back to reveal the "Captain" standing confidently in the backstage interview area, while Justin Roberts waits patiently for the signal to start. He gets it and addresses the champ.
Justin: "Hello all! I am standing backstage with reigning Hardcore Champion Tank Blazer. Tank, you won your first singles title a few weeks ago at the Hell in a Cell PPV, defeating Mack Wheeler. How does it feel to officially prove to everyone that you can win championships on your own?"
Tank: "Justin, it feels amazing. I've been confident in my abilities for a long time, but I've never came through on the title opportunities I've had before. It's been a long time coming."
Justin: "Last week, you came out near the end of the show and taunted your rival Mack with the title belt after his victory. Is it safe to say that the animosity between you two is still ongoing?"
Tank: "Well if you're asking if I still don't like him, well... of course not! I proved to everybody what kind of weak champion he really was. Winning this title was way easier than I thought it would be, because my opponent just wasn't up to the challenge. He may have been on a high note because he won a meaningless tag team match last week, so I felt it was the appropriate time to remind him of who the toughest man on Raw really is. There's nothing like holding a title belt that gives you the biggest bragging rights!"
Justin: "You are scheduled to face Brett Diamond in the next iteration of the U.S. Title Beat-the-Clock Challenge very shortly. What do you think your chances are of defeating a former Hardcore champ and possibly becoming the #1 contender for a different title?"
Tank: "My chances? Ha ha Justin, you're funny! My chances are EXTREMELY high. I'm bigger, stronger and smarter than that piece of 'Professional' crap, so beating him quickly and putting myself in the lead for the #1 contendership is almost a guarantee at this point. And once I do win the match and earn the title shot, I'll just take another big step and become a double champion!"
A moment later, someone approaches and the camera pulls back to reveal... Mack Wheeler! The "Human Semi" enters the scene and does not appear to be very happy. Tank chuckles to himself and allows a smug smile to creep over his face again. Mack glares at his enemy as he speaks.
Mack: "Yo Tank, this mouthing off has gone far enough. You've been Hardcore champ for barely 2 weeks and you're already making claims you can't back up. Being a champion is more than just holding a piece of decorated leather. It's pretty clear you don't understand that yet. I don't appreciate fake, overrated champions taunting me after I win a match they're not even involved in. You stay outta my business, or that title you're holding will become mine again!"
Tank scoffs at Mack's comments and responds.
Tank: "Are you kidding me? You think you can beat me and get this title back? You are out of your mind, son! YOU are the one that doesn't seem to understand what being a champion is. The fact that I'm holding this title gives me ALL the bragging rights I want! And I'm not going to be shy about reminding you and everyone else about that. I'm going to keep bragging and bragging until someone takes this title from me. Which will likely be never, since you clearly don't have what it takes to beat me."
Mack seethes at Tank's disrespect, but the "Captain" continues.
Tank: "You can get mad all you want, but getting mad won't help you win. Besides, I have bigger things to worry about... like becoming #1 contender for the U.S. Title! Maybe when I win THAT title, I'll send you this one in the mail! Ha ha! See you later, Semi boy!"
Tank continues to laugh as he exits the screen and walks off. The camera pans around to focus in on Mack, who grits his teeth angrily as the segment comes to an end.

U.S. #1 Contender - Beat the Clock Challenge Match:
Tank Blazer vs. Brett Diamond
The Hardcore Champion makes his entrance first, strolling down to the ring confidently as the crowd greets him with angry, disapproving comments. Tank climbs in and raises his title belt high to taunt everyone before stretching and warming up as he awaits his opponent. A moment later, Brett's theme hits and the crowd responds positively to the "Professional"! Brett enters without Beth Phoenix tonight, but he stills seems to be fired up and ready to battle. Both men share intense glares as the referee ensures that everyone is ready, and the bell rings to start this Beat the Clock match!
With a victory needing to come in less than 3:25 in order to give either man the lead, both men start things off with a fury of punches and quick moves. The action goes back and forth for the first minute, as they trade suplexes, slams and strikes. Eventually, Tank's power dazes Brett briefly and the "Captain" takes control. Tank methodically damages his foe with power moves, and every successful maneuver overbuilds his confidence. The clock continues to tick towards the time limit, but Tank seems unfazed.
But despite the early edge, Tank's overconfidence proves to be detrimental to his goal. Tank tosses Brett into the ropes and aims for a running clothesline but... Brett counters with a massive Samoan drop! With less than a minute left until the time limit, Brett shakes off the fatigue and uses his speed to rattle the Hardcore champ. The "Professional" slides from move to move quickly and Tank swings wildly hoping to stop the run, but Brett is prepared for it and turns Tank's wild punch attempts into brain-busting moves!
With less than 20 seconds left, Brett nails Tank with another Samoan drop and signals for his finisher! The crowd gets fired up as Brett steadies himself and waits for a dizzy Tank to rise to his feet. Brett nails him in the gut with a knee, bounces off the rope and flies over his opponent's back for a huge finishing Professional Grade! Brett quickly rolls Tank to his back for the cover, and the referee counts the 3-count to give him the win!
The ringside officials check the clock... and the official match time was 3:22!!! That means Brett Diamond not only pulled off an upset over the Hardcore champ, but now he's in the lead for the U.S. Title shot! Brett hears the news and jumps onto the turnbuckle to celebrate, inciting an excited crowd!
WINNER (in 3:22): Brett Diamond

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, the show returns with the camera rolling backstage in a darkened area of the arena. The camera slowly pans around and in a corner alone is... Gravedigger! The "Graveyard Monster" is seen pacing back and forth, seemingly deep in thought. After taking a week off to recover from his Hell in a Cell match against DMK, 'Digger is scheduled to be back in action tonight. In the main event, Gravedigger will take on Travis Roarke! What is Gravedigger's mindset after suffering such a tough loss 2 weeks ago?
Gravedigger adjusts his gloves and rubs his masked chin slowly as he walks slowly between walls. The segment comes to a close.

Backstage Segment
The camera switches to the locker room, where a different man is pacing back and forth angrily... Renegade! The U.S. champ does not seem to be happy, mumbling to himself. The camera pans back and we see Lee Money rocking slightly in a chair. Lee's hands are clasped together and he rubs his thumbs slowly, glancing up at his partner every so often. Finally, Renegade stops pacing and shakes his head before blurting out a comment.
Renegade: "This stupid Beat-the-Clock Challenge is ridiculous! Brett Diamond?! Brett Diamond?! How in the HELL does he take the lead?"
Lee: "Hey man, he pulled it off. There's still one match to go."
Renegade: "I know but seriously? Brett Diamond?! He's not worthy of a title shot!"
Lee: "Well he got the job done, so that's what's gonna happen, man. You heard Stephanie. She'll strip you of the title if you back out of the match."
Suddenly, Renegade's expression changes. It appears an idea has just popped in his head. Lee notices his partner's expression and raises a confused eyebrow.
Renegade: "Dude... I gotta find a way to rig the challenge."
Lee: "Rig the challenge? I think it's a little late for..."
Renegade: "Naw, man... I got an idea. Go out to the ring."
Lee: "Wait... what?"
Renegade: "Go down to the ring and compete in the final challenge match. Seriously! Go out there and win the match quickly."
Lee is still a little confused, but quickly warms to the idea. But his brief smile turns back into an inquisitive expression, and he poses a question.
Lee: "Wait... if I go out there and win the match quickly, I would automatically become the U.S. #1 contender. We would face each other over your belt. Would... would you really give me that title shot?"
Renegade: "Yeah dude. Seriously... I'd rather face and beat my partner for this title than anyone else."
Lee catches a subtle comment Renegade just made and he seems disturbed.
Lee: "'Beat my partner'? What do you mean by that?"
Renegade: "Huh? Don't worry about it, just get out there."
Lee: "Dude if I get that title match, I'm not going to lay down for you..."
Renegade: "Whatever dude! Quit wasting time and GET OUT THERE!"
Renegade points furiously towards the door. Lee rises off his chair and glares at his partner a bit, but grabs his ring gear and heads out the door. The anger on Lee's face is very apparent, but Renegade seems oblivious as he returns to pacing back and forth. The camera follows a scowling Lee Money heading towards the ring as the segment ends!

U.S. #1 Contender - Beat the Clock Challenge Match:
Lee Money vs. Big Juan Santos
The final Beat-the-Clock Challenge match was set to get underway, and a very angry Lee Money makes his entrance first. "Cash" doesn't acknowledge the crowd's mixed reaction, doesn't do any of his signature taunts and just climbs into the ring quickly and paces. Brett Diamond had stayed out at ringside and had joined the commentary team, talking excitedly about his win and prospects of earning the U.S. Title shot. The camera also spots Renegade in the crowd, apparently out to watch the match intently in person.
A few anxious moments pass as Lee awaits his unknown opponent, but the crowd erupts when... Big Juan Santos' theme blasts through the speakers! Lee's shoulders drop and his anger grows even more as he watches the Mexican brute stroll down to the ring! In order for Lee to rig the challenge for his partner, he's going to have to find a way to take down Big Juan in only a little more than 3 minutes! Big Juan climbs into the ring slowly and the referee calls for the bell!
As soon as the bell rings, Lee Money races across the ring and aggressively attacks his opponent! The unexpected assault catches the rookie off guard, and Lee does not relent. A series of kicks and leg drops gives "Cash" the advantage, but every pinfall attempt is unsuccessful. Eventually Big Juan counters with a big boot and fights back with a bunch of power moves. Lee's desperation can be seen on his face as the time ticks by, but Big Juan stays focused and continues to damage his smaller foe.
With less than a minute left, Big Juan tosses Lee into the corner and gears up for a running clothesline. But as the Mexican rookie approaches, Lee snaps out of the corner and nails him with a bicycle kick! "Cash" shakes off the cobwebs quickly and furiously lands move after move on his opponent, hoping to get the win just before the time limit.
With only a handful of seconds left, Lee positions himself out of sight as Big Juan slowly rises off the mat. When the Mexican brute rotates around, "Cash" leaps into the air and blasts him on the chin with his Money Where Your Mouth Is signature kick! The clock ticks under 10 seconds, but an excited Lee crawls over and lifts the leg for the pinfall attempt! The referee slides onto the mat and smacks the mat... 1... 2... KICKOUT!!! BIG JUAN KICKED OUT! Big Juan got a shoulder up and ruined Lee's only shot to win the match under the time limit!
The clock ticks down a few more seconds and a buzzer goes off, signaling the time limit and ending the match... in a draw! The crowd erupts into a huge cheer as the realization of the match result comes into focus! Lee sits up off the mat and holds his head in his hands, utterly shocked beyond belief. In the crowd, a very angry Renegade stomps around for a moment before disappearing and heading backstage. At the announce table, Brett stands up with a wide grin on his face as it appears that he has won the Beat the Clock Challenge... and earned the U.S. Title match! Brett leaps onto the barricade and pumps his fist as the crowd whoops it up for him!

Backstage Segment
Backstage, we get a peek inside of Mr. McMahon's office. The WWE Chairman is seated behind his desk, chatting with WWE champ David Degenerate. The "Dangerous Genius" looks very perturbed, shaking his head randomly and waving his arms angrily. The camera zooms in and we catch up with their conversation.
David: "I'm not one to respond to threats, Vince."
Mr. McMahon: "I understand David. It's not a very professional way to handle the situation."
David: "How dare he throw a rematch offer at me! I don't want to face him! I shouldn't have to face him! This is a ridiculous waste of my time and talents."
Mr. McMahon: "I hear you, David. I agree that you are definitely above him in terms of every measurable quality. But there's one thing you have to realize... you took a big risk by taking that countout loss. You may have walked out of the arena with the WWE Title, but you basically gave him a reason to ask for a rematch."
David shakes his head again and traces his fingers over the title belt draped across his lap. A moment later, the office door opens and the camera reveals Raw GM Stephanie McMahon entering. Steph looks very angry and she approaches her father and the WWE champ.
Steph: "Are you two seriously STILL discussing this? This is a very simple decision."
David: "It is NOT a simple decision. In fact, I think it's a very stupid decision."
Steph: "Stupid? Stupid?! The only thing that is STUPID around here is that our reigning WWE Champion doesn't have the manhood capable of accepting a simple title match!"
Mr. McMahon: "Now Stephanie... we don't need to resort to insults."
Steph: "Dad... I'm sorry, but I'm most disappointed in you. I expect David to be a coward, but not you. I thought I've learned everything I could from you, but this I just didn't expect."
Mr. McMahon: "Excuse me?"
Steph: "You are a shrewd businessman, Dad. And this is a shrewd business decision. WWE Title match. Overconfident champ versus hungry, disrespected challenger. This is the type of matches you love!"
David: "Disrespected? He's disrespected?! I'm the one that gets no respect! I'M THE WWE CHAMP!!! People should be respecting what I say!"
Steph: "If you would EVER back up what you say, then people would! But since you try to get out of every obligation, no one respects you."
David rises off the couch and meets Stephanie's glare. The tension between them is very palpable, but Vince intervenes before anything happens. The WWE Chairman stands up from his desk and inserts himself between his hand-picked champ and his daughter.
Mr. McMahon: "David... Steph... let's try to calm down."
Steph: "I don't need to calm down. I'm going to tell you both one thing, and I hope you listen to me closely. If either of you don't step up and make a decision about Carson's rematch offer by next week, not only will you have to deal with Carson... but you'll also have to deal with ME! Figure it out!"
Steph storms out quickly, leaving a shocked look on Vince's face. David shakes with rage and speaks as soon as she exits the room.
David: "I'm telling you Vince, I can't handle her bossing me around. She's acting like a little bit-"
Vince cuts him off.
Mr. McMahon: "David, stop. Remember, she is still family to me. She's just trying to do her job. It may not be benefiting us or the Raw brand at all, but she's trying. Don't worry about her. I'll take care of this."
David tries to calm down and Vince pats him confidently on the back. A sly smile comes across the Chairman's face as the segment comes to an end!

Post-Match Segment
After the match, the referee raises Gravedigger's arm and the "Graveyard Monster" stares into the crowd. 'Digger turns towards the ringside officials and demands a microphone. A nervous official hands one to him and 'Digger snatches it and turns towards the stage.
Gravedigger: "DMK... get out here... NOW!"
The crowd gets anxious as they await the return of the King, but a few moments pass without his appearance. An impatient 'Digger continues.
Gravedigger: "Our rivalry is NOT over, DMK. It is not over by a LONG shot. We've each gotten a win over each other. In my book, I consider us to be even. That means that we are NOT done. We have some things to discuss. It is time to settle this once and for all! GET OUT HERE... AND FACE ME!!!"
'Digger waits again, and the crowd is now even more anxious and nervous. Finally after what seemed like a long passage of time, DMK's Metallica theme hits! Fire pyro blasts off the stage, and DMK appears when the fire fades away. The King eyes his rival curiously, but responds.
DMK: "Gravedigger... you don't seem to understand what you've gotten yourself into. I still don't understand why you feel the need to face me, but at this point, I don't care. After I beat you at the Hell in a Cell PPV, I looked myself in the mirror and discovered something. I don't need any motivation to bring my best. I'm going to bring it EVERY SINGLE TIME. So you want to fight again? Fine! No matter what it takes, I'm going to make sure this little issue we have is going to end. And... it's going to end MY WAY."
The crowd gives a supporting cheer for DMK as he glares intimidatingly at 'Digger. In the ring, Gravedigger lets his foe's comments soak in... and breaks into a deep, dark laugh. The laugh creeps out everyone, including DMK himself. Gravedigger eventually replies back.
Gravedigger: "You silly, stupid idiot. You don't even realize what you've just agreed to. You see DMK... I've been holding back for a long time. I've been waiting for a rivalry like this in order to reveal my true capabilities. You don't even realize that I've only revealed a small part of what I can do to someone I HATE. But now... the regulator is off. The limitations are gone. I'm going to bring MY best and my most DANGEROUS actions. I'm going to bring EVERYTHING I have in order to BURY you... FOREVER."
That final comment sends a chilling shock down everyone's spine, and the stunned silence of the crowd reveals their fear. DMK and Gravedigger stare intensely at each other as the show comes to a close, but a hint of unease is slightly visible on DMK's face!

Week 3
An excited Mobile, Alabama crowd welcomes another LIVE edition of Monday Night Raw!
Backstage & Announcer Segment
As Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome the viewers to the show, we get a backstage shot of the arrival of... Carson Pain! The charismatic man from Queens strolls into the arena and has an odd, confident smirk on his face. As "The Original" walks down the hallway, Michael and Jerry discuss Carson's WWE Title rematch request he made last week to David Degenerate and the 1-week threat. Since David has not commented on the challenge since last week's show, that means that tonight is Carson's deadline!
After Carson enters the locker room, the camera switches to a direct shot of the announce table. The announce duo continues to discuss some ongoing storylines, and announce one of the scheduled matches for tonight. Brett Diamond, the winner of the Beat-the-Clock Challenge and new #1 contender for the U.S. Title, will face off against Big Mutha Trucker. Brett beat Trucker's challenge time by only 3 seconds to earn the title shot, so a matchup between them should truly show who deserves the title shot against Renegade!

Brittany Black & Maryse vs. Beth Phoenix & Melina
Four of Raw's best Divas, including the reigning Divas champ and the #1 contender, will kick off the show with a tag team match! Brittany enters first, and the crowd does not welcome the "Evil Diva" in a positive way. The #1 contender gets her title shot against Beth in a few weeks, and the crowd's disapproval doesn't affect her focus at all. Maryse enters soon after and joins her partner at ringside, and the two chat while they await their opponents. The crowd gives the Divas champ a resounding cheer when she makes her entrance, and the "Glamazon" appears confident as she approaches the ring. Finally, the Hollywood starlet comes out to complete the entrances and the two teams get ready for battle. Brittany and Beth start for their respective teams, and the match gets underway!
The rival Divas trade blows early on, letting their pent-up aggression out on each other. Brittany uses her array of kicks to stun the champ, while the "Glamazon" has counters and power moves to respond. Beth eventually gets control of the rookie, using her strength to her advantage. She tags in Melina and performs a double-team move, but Maryse runs in to break up the follow-up pin attempt. Brittany turns the tide to get the edge on Melina, and then tags in Maryse for a double-team flapjack move!
Maryse and Melina do battle for a bit, but eventually Maryse gets control again. She tags Brittany back in, and the "Evil Diva" works a methodical pace to damage her foe and taunt the crowd. Every big move is followed up by cocky gestures, which angers both the crowd and Beth in the corner. But Brittany's overconfidence backfires when Melina escapes to the corner... to get a surprise hot tag to the Divas Champion! Beth sprints into the ring and clotheslines a shocked Brittany, knocks Maryse off the apron and lifts Brittany up for her finisher! Beth drops the rookie with an impressive Glam Slam, and goes for the cover! But just after the referee smacks the mat at 2, Maryse dives in to break up the pinfall and keep the match alive!
Beth's rush changes the momentum briefly, but Brittany and Maryse eventually use teamwork to take control again. Once an exhausted Brittany tags out to Maryse, the French-Canadian beauty puts the finishing touches on a victory. After using her quickness advantage to daze Beth, Maryse climbs onto the turnbuckle... and nails the Divas champ with a flying clothesline! With Brittany protecting her, Maryse goes for the cover and gets the successful pinfall over Beth!
WINNERS: Brittany Black & Maryse

Post-Match Segment
The crowd is shocked to see Maryse and Brittany claim victory, and the heel Divas celebrate and congratulate each other on a nice win! As they go to exit the ring, Brittany spots Beth still struggling to rise off the mat. The "Evil Diva" steps over to her rival and crouches. Suddenly, Brittany grabs Beth by the hair and pulls her close! Beth groans loudly in pain and winces, but Brittany taunts her.
Brittany: "Enjoy this feeling, Beth! This is what you'll feel like in a few weeks! That Divas Title is MINE! It's mine, Beth!"
Brittany bounces Beth's limp head off the mat before walking away confidently. The crowd boos her loudly, but the smirk on her face indicates that she does not care! Beth clutches the back of her head as she sits up off the mat, and glares angrily at her exiting rival as the segment ends!

In-Ring Segment
The crowd erupts for the entrance of Carson Pain! "The Original" comes out excitedly and fires up the Mobile crowd, jogs and slides into the ring and working everyone into a frenzy! Carson seemed very confident as he walks around the ring, acknowledging fans in the crowd. He requests and receives a microphone and prepares to address his issues.
Carson: "Thanks Mobile for the great welcome! I'm glad you are all here, because tonight is going to be a special night. Either two great things are going to happen for me, and you all get to witness it! Either that coward David accepts the title match... or I get to beat him senseless! So hang on to your seats folks, because it's about to get a little NUTS in here! It's been 1 week, David. Come out here and reveal to everyone which choice you've made. Trust me, we are ALL waiting patiently."
A few anxious moments pass, but finally David's music hits! Out strolls the WWE champ and the WWE Chairman together and they share an annoyed expression before they slowly head down to the ring. Carson stands confidently and seems to be ready to strike at a moment's notice, and David and Vince cautiously enter the ring. Vince positions himself slightly between the two rivals, and David shakes his head and rolls his eyes before he responds.
David: "You think you have all the leverage in this situation. Again, you THINK you have ALL leverage in this situation. But the reality is that you really have no card to play but intimidation and threats. And even then, you THINK your THREATS bother me? For all the effort it would take to kick my butt, I could make the EXACT same effort and get you first! Plus... I AM THE WWE CHAMPION! I'm the one holding this belt! I'm the one with all the leverage! You want a rematch? WHO CARES?!?! There is nothing in this world that would convince me to give you a title match. You think beating me up would prove a point? Guess what?! I WOULD STILL BE THE CHAMPION! I've beaten up before and I got right back up and brushed myself off. Physical violence doesn't scare me. I grew up fighting for my life every day, doing what I needed to do just to survive. I've gotten my ass kicked and left on the side of the road. If I refuse your title match and you beat me up because of it... YOU'RE the one that will have to live with it!"
Carson is surprised at David's response, and he seems to be deep in thought over it. David stands tall and shows no sign of backing down. The tension in the ring is thick, and a few anxious moments pass as David and Carson stare each other down. Finally, the silence is broken by the entrance of... Raw GM Stephanie McMahon! The "Billion-Dollar Princess" steps out onto the stage and seems very annoyed with the whole situation. When David and Carson focus on her, she speaks.
Steph: "I'm sick of these beating around the bush crap, so I'm going to make a decision for BOTH of you. Carson wants and is entitled to a WWE Title rematch. David wants to avoid this match at all costs. I understand that! But these FANS deserve to see that prestigious belt defended in the most appropriate, exciting way possible. So I'm going to make a deal that should satisfy BOTH of your concerns. Get comfortable in that ring, because we are going to have a match. David Degenerate versus Carson Pain, one-on-one, non-title match. If Carson can win the match, then a WWE Title match between you two will be officially made. So Carson, you're going to have to earn it. And David... you will have a chance to prove us all wrong. Good luck gentlemen!"
The crowd cheers at the prospect of seeing them square off! David seems angry and annoyed, while Carson starts bouncing around excitedly. The two rivals will face off... NEXT!!!

David Degenerate (w/ Mr. McMahon) vs. Carson Pain
David and Carson loosen up in opposite corners of the ring as a referee heads down to the ring to officially monitor the match. Vince chats briefly with David and gives him a supportive pat on the shoulder before exiting the ring to watch the action nearby. The bell rings and this non-title bout starts off!
An impressive display of wrestling and athletic ability keeps the crowd on the edge of their seats, as both men give everything they have to score the victory. Early on, the two rivals trade counters and reversals as neither man can gain the upper hand. They then graduate to trading suplexes, slams and ground moves but again coming to a stalemate. Carson tosses David into the ropes, but David counters with a knee smash to Carson's chin and follows up with a butterfly suplex. Soon after, Carson counters with a running DDT and quickly excites the crowd with his Original Twist overhead neck snap!
The match moves outside the ring when David tackles Carson over the top rope and onto the floor below! Outside the ring, Carson gets control and starts using the environment to his advantage. Carson smashes David's head off the barricade and the steel ringside steps, damaging the champ. David staggers around and Carson continues with a suplex onto the floor! The referee counts from the ring and demands they re-enter the ring, and finally Carson rolls his foe back into the ring.
Back in the ring, David reverses and gains the momentum for a short bit but a huge DDT counter puts Carson back in the driver's seat. Carson fires the crowd up as he stalks his prey for a signature move! When David staggers to his feet, Carson pounces and nails his Fresh Cut signature! Carson signals for his Ankle Pain finishing hold, and the crowd gets on their feet! Carson walks over to a crawling David and snatches his ankle up! The "Dangerous Genius" moans loudly in pain and reaches wildly for the rope, but Carson drags him back into the center of the ring and locks his whole leg up! David raises his hand to possibly tap out, but winces in pain and flexes his fingers! The crowd screams in excitement as it seems Carson is about to pull off a huge much-needed upset!
But suddenly... Vince enters the ring with a steel chair! The WWE Chairman holds the chair and approaches Carson from behind slowly, snarling angrily. Finally, Vince swings and smacks the chair across Carson's back! Carson releases the hold and arches his back in pain! The referee stands up in bewilderment, but then calls for the bell! Carson was awarded the victory by disqualification due to Mr. McMahon's attack!
WINNER (by DQ): Carson Pain

Post-Match Segment
Carson slowly rises up onto his knees in pain, breathing heavily and wincing. Vince still holds the chair in a threatening manner, but takes a moment to check on David. The WWE Chairman then turns his attention back to "The Original", smiling crazily as he approaches him. Vince raises the chair again to strike him... but suddenly, Carson pops up onto his feet! Vince is stunned by Carson's quick recovery and staggers back a few steps. Vince tries to swing the chair to protect himself, but his weak attempt is knocked away by a furious Carson! With the chair no longer a threat, Carson snatches the WWE Chairman by the collar as the crowd cheers wildly! Vince pleads with Carson to leave him alone but Carson just glares at him, nostrils flaring with anger. Carson's hand slowly balls into a fist, and Vince continues to beg him not to strike. Carson weighs his decision for a few seconds... but then punches Vince out with a huge haymaker to the jaw! The crowd bursts into a deafening shout as Carson stands satisfied over an unconscious Vince!
But before Carson can celebrate, David is back on his feet! The WWE champ attacks him from behind and the two rivals engage in a nasty brawl, trading punches and rolling all over the ring! Finally Carson pushes the "Genius" away and both men stand opposed, arms cocked and ready to continue the fight. But before more punches can be thrown, a shrieking voice can be heard.
Steph: "STOP! STOP! STOP! Stop fighting RIGHT NOW!"
Raw GM Stephanie McMahon quickly steps out onto the stage and demands them to stop. David and Carson glare at each other and remain ready, but they adhere to her request.
Steph: "I was afraid it would come to this. Gentlemen, since you can't handle this situation honestly and with integrity, I'm going to be the voice of reason. David, I'm sorry but Carson technically won the match. Which means, Carson does get an official WWE Title rematch! But I'm going to add a simple stipulation that I feel is appropriate. Since David has shown a penchant for running away and Carson wants nothing more than to have David alone, let's make this simple. David... you will defend your WWE Championship at the Judgment Day PPV against Carson Pain... in a CAGE MATCH!!! You both can settle your issues inside of 4 steel walls where no one can interfere, and the only way to win is to escape! And gentlement... I order you to stand down. If you continue your brawl, I will suspend BOTH of you and strip David of the title! Back off and save your energy for the title match. THAT IS AN ORDER!"
The crowd is going crazy after hearing Stephanie's announcement, and the two rivals in the ring ease up but have very different reactions. David is clearly pissed while Carson is smiling through exhausted breaths. David helps Vince out of the ring, grabs his WWE Title belt and assists the WWE Chairman as they exit. David takes one more angry glare at Carson, who watches them leave with a confident smirk!

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show and see a very relieved Stephanie McMahon walking backstage. The Raw GM almost seems less stressed and relaxed after dealing with the WWE Title situation as she strolls towards the office. Suddenly, around the corner behind her appears... Renegade! The U.S. champ looks around and spots her, and jogs up to her. Renegade taps her on the shoulder and she stops, turning to see who was there. A slightly annoyed frown comes over her face as Renegade catches his breath.
Renegade: "Steph! Steph! Can I talk to you quick?"
Steph: "Ugh... what do you want Renegade?"
Renegade: "I have a small request for you."
Steph: "You... have a request for me?"
Renegade: "Yeah, it's a real small thing. Can you... can you insert Lee Money into the Brett/Trucker match? And... would you be willing to put the #1 contendership on the line?"
Steph: "Wait... what? That's not a simple request."
Renegade: "Oh yeah, it's no big deal. Just make it a Triple Threat match and put Diamond's title shot on the line. Boom, done!"
Steph: "Why? Diamond won the Beat-the-Clock Challenge fair and square. He and Trucker requested the match as a friendly bout."
Renegade: "Yeah but Lee really wants another chance. He felt he got cheated last week. Just give him another shot!"
Steph: "But... but he's your tag team partner. It doesn't really make any sense. Why should I grant this?"
Renegade: "C'mon Steph, I don't ask for much. I'm the U.S. champ! Don't I deserve at least ONE small favor?"
Renegade tilts his head and smiles widely, but Steph scowls and gets creeped out by his expression. She studies him for a moment, but then shakes her head as she responds.
Steph: "Fine. I'll grant you this ONE favor, but that's it. Triple Threat match, #1 contendership on the line. Now get outta my face."
Renegade: "Thanks Steph! Appreciate it!"
Renegade jogs back towards the locker room and Steph watches him leave. The camera rotates to get a closeup of her, which reveals a very confused look as the segment ends!

Triple Threat Match (U.S. #1 Contender):
Big Mutha Trucker vs. Brett Diamond vs. Lee Money
So after Renegade's request, the simple friendly battle between Brett Diamond and Big Mutha Trucker has turned into a 3-way fight including Lee Money... and with Brett's #1 contender status on the line! The "Resident Redneck" enters first to a big ovation, and he looks pumped up to get another chance at a title shot. Next, the actual #1 contender himself makes his entrance and gets a nice response from the crowd. The "Professional" slaps hands with fans as he heads to the ring excitedly and gets ready for a big battle. Finally, Lee's music hits and the crowd boos heavily. "Cash" doesn't enter right away and his two opponents start to get antsy in the ring as they wait. Then suddenly... Lee attacks Brett from behind! Lee viciously beats down on the #1 contender to start the match, catching everyone off guard.
Trucker pulls Lee off and knocks him around angrily, beginning what turns out to be an excellent 3-way battle. Brett recovers and gets himself involved, which leads to some impressive series of moments. Despite Trucker and Brett being on relatively good terms, this match is definitely every man for himself. Double-team moves and actions occur throughout the match, including Brett and Lee performing a double facebuster on Trucker, Brett holding Lee's arms so Trucker can deliver uncontested punches to the gut and Lee and Trucker dropping Brett with a double suplex! The interesting mix of Trucker's strength, Brett's athleticism and Lee's quickness creates an exciting match, and the crowd gets deep into it as it rolls on.
After a long battle, all 3 men start to reach exhaustion but none of them can get the decisive victory. With Brett and Lee temporarily down, Trucker decides to up the ante by grabbing... a sledgehammer from under the ring! With no holds barred in a 3-way match, any use of foreign objects is legal! Trucker shows the weapon to the excited crowd, and Lee crawls out of the ring to go on the offensive. But Trucker spots him coming... and nails him with a huge hammer shot! Brett climbs into the turnbuckle and attempts a flying move to the outside, but Trucker times a hammer swing perfectly and connects! Despite Trucker's initial advantage with the weapon, all 3 men eventually use the hammer on their opponents! This #1 contender match is becoming more and more brutal by the second!
The match continues but another person makes their presence felt... a very impatient Renegade! The U.S. champ makes his way down to the ring, and doesn't appear to be there as a spectator! The 3 grapplers are battling hard in the ring, and Renegade circles slowly looking for a chance to wreak havoc. Trucker gets knocked down and Brett trades blows with Lee, and Renegade senses the moment. The party animal slides in to the surprise of everyone... and blasts a staggering Trucker with his Kick-olution finishing kick! The "Redneck" collapses to the mat and Renegade smiles weirdly as he watches his rival fall. Next, Lee gets control of Brett and notices his tag partner in the ring. Renegade communicates to Lee, and "Cash" somehow manages to prop a dazed Brett up. Renegade gathers himself to attempt another finishing kick and Lee nods excitedly for his partner to deliver the move. Renegade takes a step and kicks... but Brett ducks the move at the last second!!! Renegade can't stop his momentum and drives his boot into his partner's face! Lee flops to the mat and Renegade's eyes go wide with shock!
A woozy Brett comes to his senses and spots the sledgehammer lying nearby. The "Professional" lifts the object and waits for the U.S. champ to turn. Renegade gets upset at his actions and turns around to finish the job... but walks right into a hammer shot to the face! Brett slams the hammer perfectly, which knocks the champ down! Brett rolls Renegade out of the ring and notices both of his opponents down as well! Brett struggles with his decision for just a moment, but then covers Trucker for a pin! The referee counts the 1-2-3, and Brett successfully defends his #1 contender status thanks to the champ's mistake!
Brett wearily celebrates as the crowd goes wild! Outside the ring, Renegade tries to shake off the cobwebs and realizes what happened. The party animal shouts in anger and glares at his challenger for a moment, before leaping the barricade and exiting. Brett climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arms for the cheering fans, happy he still has his title shot!
WINNER: Brett Diamond
Backstage Segment
We return to the show after a commercial break and we see a very arrogant Tank Blazer chatting it up with members of the backstage crew. It becomes clear as the segment continues that the Hardcore Champion is bragging and carrying on, which draws a mixture of nervous laughs and annoyed groans from those crew members. In the background, we see someone else enter the frame... Mack Wheeler! The "Human Semi" walks expressionless for a bit, but then notices his rival holding court nearby. Mack slowly approaches, trying to eavesdrop on the conversation. When Tank mentions Mack and drops an insult, Mack has heard enough... and attacks!
A huge brawl breaks out between them as Tank is surprised by the aggression! But the "Captain" recovers and gets in a few nasty shots of his own, and the backstage area suffers damage from their unbridled anger! Finally, most of the crew members separate them and keep them apart but their physical violence quickly becomes a verbal argument.
Tank: "What's the matter with you???"
Mack: "Shut your face, man! I heard you talking crap again! I warned you to keep my name out of your mouth!"
Tank: "I can say whatever I want! I'm the CHAMP!"
Mack: "Not for long! I want my rematch! I'm going to take that belt back, and shove it down your throat!"
Tank: "You're crazy! You want a rematch? You want to waste it with another loss? Fine! Name the place! Name the time!"
Mack: "Next week, punk! I'm going to whip your ass!"
Tank: "You got it, pal! You won't be doing much ass-whipping when you can't walk!"
Mack pushes the crew members off of him and walks away angrily. Tank relaxes a bit, and the crew members release him. Tank brushes himself off, notices the cut on his lip and grumbles furiously to himself as he glares in his rival's direction. The "Captain" snarls as the segment comes to an end.

In-Ring Segment
As the show reaches its conclusion, the fans are greeted to the arrival of... DMK!!! The dark rocker heads to the ring confidently, planning to address the crowd. DMK climbs in, sets off his signature ring pyro and grabs a microphone. DMK stands proudly in the ring and speaks.
DMK: "I'm out here tonight for several reasons. I'm sure you all have an idea of what I'm about to say. This rivalry with Gravedigger... this battle to the death... has obviously taken a lot out of me. I feel like I've had to give every ounce of energy I have to put him down, put him away. First, I wanted to keep him away from the WWE Title. I did this for both selfish and selfless reasons. I naturally want to reclaim the WWE Title for myself but I also didn't want the title to fall into the hands of someone like him. Someone who doesn't deserve that honor, someone who doesn't respect the history of that belt. So I put myself in harm's way to ensure he wouldn't get a legitimate shot, which ended up costing me a chance at the title. Then, my efforts to deny him a title shot caused him to go crazy and simply want to remove me altogether. So now I began fighting for my life, fighting for my survival in this business. If he finds a way to destroy me, injure me... then he can run unchecked. I can't stand for that. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep myself around. To protect the Raw brand from those who aren't willing to honor its history. I will give everything I have, no matter what condition my body will be in when it's all said and done, to come out on top. In fact... I'm even willing to let him choose any stipulation. I accept any match he wants to choose. Because at the end of the day, it won't matter what type of match it is. All that matters is who can conjure up the fortitude necessary to GET THE JOB DONE!"
The crowd gives a supportive cheer for the "King", and he nods in appreciation. Moments later... Gravedigger's music hits! DMK turns to eye the stage, while also glancing around the arena in case his rival attacks from behind. But after a few anxious moments 'Digger appears... and has a very interesting object with him. The stage curtains part and Gravedigger pushes out... a large, wooden casket! The brown, varnished casket creeps out the entire arena, including a confused DMK. 'Digger slowly rolls the casket down to the ring and parks it a few feet outside the ring. The "Graveyard Monster" picks up a microphone from the rolling cart the casket lies on and responds.
Gravedigger: "Caskets strangely cause a feeling of unease among normal people. A feeling of dread, a slight hint of fear... but no one takes time to appreciate the BEAUTY of a freshly-made casket. The intricate, handmade wood work. The personalized details. The strength and sturdiness. The soft, welcoming padding inside. It's a GORGEOUS item to view on a regular basis. You see... caskets make people uneasy because it reminds them of death. It reminds them of their inevitable demise. Their unknown final thoughts. But despite the horrific reality of death, there is a sense of love when it comes to burying someone. Saying your final goodbyes to a loved one. Building a casket that even the deceased person would appreciate. No one takes the time to do this... but I do."
DMK shudders nervously as Gravedigger's comments hit a weird note. Gravedigger takes a deep breath before continuing.
Gravedigger: "DMK... I've decided upon a stipulation for our match. I weighed all the options and I've come up with the perfect solution... a LAST MAN STANDING match! It's the perfect way to end our petty little feud... and to end your illustrious run at the top. In a Last Man Standing match, two men attempt to destroy each other to the point that one of them will literally not be able to get up. That's the point we've reached! I want to destroy you so badly that I don't even need to pin your shoulder to the mat. I don't even want to force you to submit. I want you to be laying unconscious in the center of the ring, unmoving and unresponsive. Sort of like... a dead body. And when you're lying there helpless... I will drag your limp carcass and gracefully lay you into this casket. In order to let all those who love you... all these fans... say goodbye!"
Gravedigger steps up onto the apron and slowly enters the ring. An anxious DMK takes a step back and has a mixed expression on his face of both confusion and pride. 'Digger steps towards him and speaks again.
Gravedigger: "So... do you accept? Are you willing to put everything you have on the line? If so... let those who are with sin throw the first punch!"
Gravedigger drops the mic and entices his rival to attack. DMK looks at his rival in thought for a moment, and then glances around the arena to get a sense of the crowd's reaction. The fans' unease slowly morphs into nervous excitement, which seems to give DMK the confidence he needs. And suddenly... DMK attacks and a brawl ensues!
The two heavyweights let it all go with a huge fight, just wailing on each other without technique or care. The action spills ringside and the environment gets involved! DMK drops 'Digger chest-first onto the barricade and smashes the steel steps into his face, while the "Monster" tosses his rival into the barricade and hits him with the steps as well. Eventually, Gravedigger takes control of the fight and brutalizes DMK to the shock of the crowd. 'Digger busts DMK open with a fury of punches right to the forehead, and a woozy DMK can't even fight back. Gravedigger glances at the casket he brought and a sinister thought enters his mind. 'Digger continues to beat his foe down as they make their way closer and closer to the casket, and finally the "Monster" lifts DMK up and rolls him into the open casket!
DMK awakes briefly to try and fight his way out, but a few more nasty haymakers keeps him down. Gravedigger slams the casket shut, and reaches into his pocket to pull out a padlock! The "Monster" quickly slaps it on and locks it shut, and a moment later we can hear frantic pounding from inside. Unsatisfied with his already-strange actions, 'Digger chuckles to himself as he turns towards the ring. Gravedigger pulls the apron up, reaches underneath and grabs... a gas can and a flare! The crowd slowly comes to the realization that he had planned this all along, and the feeling of fear starts to spread over the arena. Is Gravedigger really going to burn DMK alive in this casket???
Sure enough, 'Digger begins to douse the casket with the gas can! The crowd starts screaming angrily, imploring him to stop, but Gravedigger ignores their pleas. Gravedigger tosses the empty gas can aside and reaches for the flare, studying it closely. The casket continues to pound and rumble as DMK tries desperately to escape, and 'Digger gets ready to light the flare...
... and suddenly, a large crack is heard! A moment later, DMK comes crashing out from the bottom of the casket and he desperately tries to crawl to freedom. As DMK crawls away, Gravedigger lights the flare... and tosses it onto the casket, setting it ablaze!!! DMK turns back near the top of the ramp, eyes wide and shocked at how close that was! Gravedigger watches the flames lick off the casket, and slowly starts to laugh heartily!!! The camera switches back and forth between DMK's shocked face and 'Digger's insanity as the show comes to a unreal end!

Backstage Segment
The cameras switch backstage, where we come across the Professional Glam couple! U.S. #1 contender Brett Diamond and reigning Divas champ Beth Phoenix are chatting happily. Last week, Brett defended his #1 contender status by winning a Triple Threat match despite U.S. champ Renegade trying to interfere and ruin it. While Brett has been riding a hot streak, Beth suffered a tough loss when she took the pinfall against rivals Brittany Black and Maryse. After the match, Brittany taunted the "Glamazon" and started to put doubts on Beth's title reign. Despite that, Beth seems to be in high spirits tonight.
But as they chat, a very angry person interrupts... Renegade! The party animal walks up angrily and quickly intrudes in their conversation.
Renegade: "Yo man, I gotta bone to pick with you."
Brett: "What do you want, Renegade? Haven't you made a FOOL of yourself enough lately?"
Renegade: "Nah man, I'm not a fool. I'm the damn United States champ, and if you think you're taking this title from me you must be CRAZY."
Brett: "I guess we'll let the ring results speak for themselves."
Renegade: "Speaking of results... I want to face you in the ring tonight. I want to give you a little preview of what you'll face on Sunday. And who knows? Maybe you'll come to your senses and back out of the title match!"
Brett glances over at Beth and she rolls her eyes at Renegade's ridiculous comments. Brett shares the same expression, but then gets an idea.
Brett: "Nah, I'm not interested in a 1-on-1 match tonight. Let's save it for Sunday. I'm not backing out of the title match. But... I am interested in competing tonight. And I know my girl Beth here is interested too. What if we agree to a nice mixed-tag match? Beth and I against you... and a woman, if you can find one!"
Renegade grits his teeth angrily, but suddenly someone joins his side. The camera pans back to reveal... Brittany Black! The #1 contender for Beth's Divas Title strolls up and touches Renegade's shoulder, and the party animal turns to look. He is surprised to see Brittany near, and her appearance also angers the "Glamazon". Brittany smiles and responds.
Brittany: "You need a woman to compete with tonight, Renegade? Hmm... well, I'm free for a match tonight. In fact, I'd be MORE THAN willing to team with you tonight against these 'professional' phonies. What do you say?"
Renegade is surprised by the offer, but he nods confidently in agreement. Brett and Beth share an annoyed, angry look in response. The rival pairs glare at each other as the segment comes to an end!

Hardcore Championship:
Tank Blazer {C} vs. Mack Wheeler
Only a few weeks after battling at the Hell in a Cell PPV over the Hardcore Title, Tank Blazer and Mack Wheeler were going to have a rematch tonight! Ever since Tank upset the "Human Semi" to win the belt, he has been angering his rival with his constant taunting and trash-talking. Last week, Mack encountered the "Captain" speaking ill of him backstage to some random crew members, which incensed Mack to the breaking point! After a brawl broke out, the two rivals were separated and agreed to a title match!
Mack made his entrance first and the Detroit crowd gave him a resounding cheer, as they were hoping to see him recapture the belt! Mack climbed into the ring and glanced around the ringside area, almost seeming to plan out his weapon strategy for the hardcore-style match. Next, Tank's music hit and the fans responded with jeers for the former military man. But as Mack waited impatiently for the champ to come out... Tank attacked him from behind! The "Captain" walloped Mack across the back of his head with the title belt, starting the match in surprising fashion!
Tank took advantage of his blindside attack, very quickly lifting Mack off the mat... and planting him with his finishing Captain's Choice! Tank goes for the quick pinfall, but Mack kicks out after a long 2 count to stay alive. Tank is frustrated that he couldn't score the quick victory, but he doesn't waste time fretting over it. While Mack tries to recover, Tank slides out of the ring and grabs a table from under the ring! Tank slides back in, but Mack meets him with angry punches and kicks! Mack snatches the table and leans it up in the corner, hoping to use the object against the champ. But Tank is ready and counters Mack to regain control, and then tosses him onto the leaned table. Tank grabs the "Human Semi", lifts him up... and powerbombs him through the table in the corner! Tank taunts the crowd as Mack lays prone in a pile of broken wood, knowing he's proving how capable of a champ he is.
Despite the early struggles, Mack rallies back with a variety of moves and strikes. First, in the ring Mack uses some power moves to daze the champ, including 2 sit-out powerbombs. Then after the action spills outside the ring, Mack starts using the hardcore match rules to his advantage. The "Human Semi" grabs a chair from under the ring, and smacks the champ with it! Soon after that, Mack grabs his rival and whips him hard into the steel steps! The "Captain" gets frustrated and starts countering back, including tossing a full soda stolen from a fan into Mack's face and driving the loose steel steps into Mack's gut!
Tank goes for a clothesline, but Mack ducks it and counters with a belly-to-back suplex! The move knocks the wind out of the champ, giving Mack the advantage he needs! After Tank staggers to his feet, Mack delivers his 3 Wheeler combo of German suplexes right onto the ringside floor! Mack fires up as the crowd gets excited to see a possible title change. When Tank manages to rise up off the floor, Mack quickly snatches him... and plants him onto the steel steps with his Rolled Over signature slam! Mack covers Tank outside the ring, and the referee slides over to count the 1-2-3! Mack has regained the Hardcore Title!!!
Mack accepts and raises the title belt victoriously as the Detroit crowd goes crazy! The "Human Semi" beams a huge smile as he celebrates!
WINNER (and NEW Hardcore Champion): Mack Wheeler

Backstage Segment
After a brief commercial break, we return to the show and the camera is following Raw GM Stephanie McMahon. The "Billion-Dollar Princess" strolls down the hallway confidently and appears to be on a mission to find someone. She turns and opens an office door, where we see... WWE champ David Degenerate and Mr. McMahon! The "Dangerous Genius" and the WWE Chairman are chatting in the room, but David gets very annoyed when he notices Steph entering. Vince gives his daughter an awkward hug and greets her. Steph gives a patronizing smile and speaks.
Steph: "David... Dad... just swung by to check in. So... are you okay with the decision I laid down last week over the WWE Title rematch?"
Steph appears to be very proud of herself, while Vince chuckles oddly and David shakes his head and rolls his eyes. The WWE champ doesn't hold back and responds.
David: "You want to know if I'm OKAY with the match? If you really want to know, then... NO! I'm not okay with the match. I don't appreciate you sticking your big, fat nose into my business. Your dad is the shrewd businessman around here, NOT YOU! Let HIM take care of the match card. Just go handle the budget or fire some crappy crew member."
Steph: "Ha ha! Crappy crew members? How about a crappy CHAMPION that isn't even willing to defend his title HONORABLY? Like... like a REAL man!"
David scowls angrily and attempts to respond, but Vince raises a hand to cut him off. David purses his lips and shakes his head, very furious. Steph laughs to herself and then continues.
Steph: "Well besides that, I thought I'd come in and inform you personally of another decision I've made. I really want to give this great Detroit crowd a big main event tonight, so I've created a tag team match. I want to give them a nice preview for Sunday's PPV matches. David... you will team up with Gravedigger!"
David: "WHAT?!"
Steph: "Yep! I think you guys could make a great team! My suggestion is to find that crazed 'Monster' to talk strategy before the match. I'm sure you're well aware of how a champion should present himself days before a PPV title match."
David: "Ugh... fine."
Steph: "And of course, since it's a preview match before Sunday, you'll be facing the team of your buddy Carson Pain... and DMK!"
David: "Wait... what?! Carson... and DMK???"
Steph: "Yep! You're a good listener, David. Good luck tonight!"
Steph leaves and David is just coming undone with anger, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth. Vince has a thoughtful look on his face as his daughter exits, and then addresses his angry ally.
Mr. McMahon: "Calm down, David. It will be okay. I will handle everything. Don't you worry. Just focus on your match."
David relaxes a bit, but the angry tension is still visible in his body language. Vince gives him a supportive pat on the back as the segment ends.

Professional Glam (Brett Diamond & Beth Phoenix) vs.
Renegade & Brittany Black
In another tag match that previews some of Sunday's PPV matches, the Professional Glam couple will take on the party animal and the "Evil Diva"! Brett Diamond will face Renegade for the U.S. Title, while Beth puts her Divas Title on the line against Brittany at Judgment Day, but tonight they all go head-to-head in a mixed-tag matchup! Brett and Beth enter first and seem very confident as they make their way to ringside. Renegade and Brittany each enter separately, but they seem to be on the same page. Before the match, Brett and Beth share a big high-five to show off their chemistry. The bell rings and the men start off the battle!
Brett gains control of the champ early on, dropping him with a suplex, a Samoan drop and a dropkick! But after the impressive run of moves, Renegade kips up surprisingly and catches Brett off-guard. The party animal uses the moment to drive his boot into Brett's face with the Kick-olution finishing kick! Renegade goes for the cover, but Beth runs in and breaks up the pinfall to keep the match alive. Soon after, both men tag out to their female partners and the ladies let out their frustrations on each other!
Beth and Brittany have a very evenly-matched battle, with Brittany using her array of kicks to daze the Divas champ while Beth overpowers the "Evil Diva" with suplexes, clotheslines and an elbow drop. With the match reaching an exciting stalemate, the women tag the men back in! After trading blows and moves for a few minutes, Brett again gains control of the champ. After dropkicking Renegade to the mat, Brett fires up the crowd as he prepares for his signature move! Brett taunts and dances around, bouncing off the rope before delivering his Diamond's Eye Elbow! Renegade crawls to his corner to tag in Brittany, while Brett tags in a pumped-up Beth.
With the momentum on her side, Beth uses her strength to beat down her rival... and locks her in the Glam Slam Submission hold! Brittany screams in pain as Beth applies pressure, but a weary Renegade barely manages to break the hold. Brett races into the ring and attacks Renegade, and the men start brawling outside. With Brittany hurting, Beth follows up with her signature Fisherman's suplex and prepares for her finisher! After Brittany rises off the mat, Beth grabs her and plants her with the Glam Slam finisher! The Divas champ goes for the cover, and with Renegade kept at bay... she is able to score the winning pinfall!
Beth and Brett celebrate together as the crowd cheers them on, while Renegade and Brittany sulk away hurt, angry and defeated. The U.S. champ scowls and glares at the victors as he exits, clutching his title belt tightly.

Backstage Segment
After returning from the final commercial break, we get a shot of Carson Pain warming up in the locker room. "The Original" seems focused and ready for the main event as he stretches and bounces around. In the background, we hear a door open and Carson looks up to see who is entering. A curious look comes over his face and the camera pans back to reveal... DMK! Carson's tag partner for the evening approaches calmly and speaks.
DMK: "Hello Carson. You ready?"
Carson: "For sure, man. I'm always ready."
DMK: "Good. So... I came by to chat. I think now would be a good time to... bury the hatchet between us."
Carson: "Hmm... yeah, I think so too."
DMK: "We've had our issues in the past, but I have a feeling we've both come to an agreement that it was just competitiveness overtaking us."
Carson: "Ha ha, sure... you can call it that. But seriously, I agree. I feel like I can trust you... at least for tonight."
DMK: "You can. No problems from me. I just want to win. Doesn't matter how."
Carson: "Good to hear. And also... you feeling okay after last week?"
A dark expression comes over DMK's face for a moment, but he shakes it off and responds.
DMK: "Yeah man... I'm good. Gravedigger's just trying to intimidate me. I'm not backing down."
Carson: "I hear ya. He's been a tough draw for you, but I can see you holding your own. Good luck on Sunday."
DMK: "Thanks. Good luck to you, too. I'd love to see you kick David's ass."
Carson: "That's the plan. I want that WWE Title back."
DMK: "I'd love to see that."
DMK turns to exit, but a quick thought passes through his head. He turns back.
DMK: "Carson... one more thing. When you beat David and win that title back, how about you give ME the first title match?"
DMK smirks confidently and Carson thinks about the offer while studying DMK's expression. Carson chuckles to himself and extends his hand for a handshake. DMK meets the gesture as Carson responds.
Carson: "You got it, pal. See you in the ring."
DMK nods and walks out. Carson laughs to himself again as he finishes his stretching. The segment ends as we transition back to the ringside area.

MAIN EVENT:
Carson Pain & DMK vs.
David Degenerate (w/ Mr. McMahon) & Gravedigger
The fans get pumped up for the night's final match, a huge tag match that will preview the Last Man Standing and WWE Title matches scheduled for Sunday's PPV! The crowd's excited buzz turns into a loud happy roar as Carson Pain's music hits first! "The Original" heads down to the ring confidently, sliding into the ring and looking ready. Next, DMK's fire pyro hits and the crowd continues their cheering for him! DMK walks down to the ring, briefly acknowledging the fans' reaction and sets off his signature ring pyro. As the fan favorites chat strategy, their opponents come out and receive a very negative reception from the Detroit crowd. The WWE champ enters first with Mr. McMahon accompanying him, and David just taunts the crowd repeatedly. Finally, the haunting Gravedigger theme echoes throughout the arena and a very focused "Graveyard Monster" slowly approaches the ring, trying to frighten his foes. Once everyone is at ringside, David and Carson agree to start the main event off!
Carson foreshadows his strategy for the match only a few seconds in, tripping the champ and locking in an ankle hold! David breaks free, but Carson continues to work the legs as he dominates the first portion of the match. David only manages a handful of weak counters, while Carson nails big move after big move and pumping up the crowd with each one. Finally, a beaten "Genius" tags out to Gravedigger and the "Monster" enters the ring slowly and stands tall to intimidate Carson. But "The Original" shows no fear, and continues his streak of big moves on his new opponent. DMK begs for a tag, and he and Carson perform a double-team combo move onto 'Digger! The fan favorites kip up off the mat at the same time, drawing a huge cheer from the crowd with all the momentum on their side.
DMK tries to continue his team's run, but a very angry Gravedigger soon changes things. 'Digger counters a move with a big boot, setting the tone for his furious attack. Gravedigger powerbombs DMK and follows up with a low clothesline, taking control of the match as he methodically pounds his rival. Both men get a tag, and a rejuvenated David starts landing his moves on a surprised Carson. The "Genius" hits a butterfly suplex, a dirty stomp to Carson's face and a dropkick off the turnbuckle. "The Original" performs a counter to give himself a chance to recover, and he crawls over to the corner to tag in DMK.
But as DMK enters the ring and motions towards David to bring him the fight, a fearful expression comes over the champ's face! The "Genius" unexpectedly backs up into his own corner and... tags out to Gravedigger! With all the momentum, why would David purposefully avoid DMK? Gravedigger gives David a strange look for a moment, but then turns his attention to his rival. But this time around, DMK gains the upper hand and starts delivering huge power moves to the "Monster". After nailing him with a DDT, 'Digger lifts his head off the mat to a surprising discovery... he had been busted open!
DMK and Gravedigger each make tags to their partners soon after, and Carson starts puts the finishing touches on a potential win. Outside the ring, the WWE Chairman watches nervously and senses danger coming to his ally... which causes him to start interfering! First, Carson locks up David in his N.Y. Nailer submission... but Vince leaps up onto the apron to distract the ref! The official doesn't appreciate the intrusion and gives him a stern warning, while 'Digger manages to break up the hold. Soon after, Vince reaches into the ring... and trips Carson in direct view of the referee! The ref orders Mr. McMahon to exit the ringside area! The WWE Chairman makes angry threats but reluctantly walks away.
In the ring, Carson continues his leg targeting on the WWE champ as the crowd gets excited. After catching David with his Fresh Cut signature, Carson quickly pounces... and locks in his Ankle Pain finishing hold! DMK notices the move and starts a brawl with Gravedigger, keeping the "Monster" away. With no ropes nearby and no partner to help, David has no choice but to... tap out!!! The crowd erupts as Carson scores a huge submission victory over his rival, just days before they meet with the WWE Title on the line!
DMK and Carson celebrate as the crowd cheers loudly, sharing a high-five as David exits with Vince unhappily!

Post-Match Segment
DMK and Carson attempt to leave the ring, but a gruff voice comes over the speakers.
Gravedigger: "Ha... ha... ha... you think one little victory means anything to me?"
A bloody, exhausted Gravedigger climbs back into the ring with a microphone, and DMK turns around to face his rival. 'Digger stands wearily across the ring, and addresses him.
Gravedigger: "You have no idea what's coming your way. This Sunday will be the END of you. If you thought last week was scary, just wait and see what I have planned for you. You know that casket I built? I built the bottom of it weakened on purpose. I didn't want to burn you alive then! I wanted you to escape... but FEEL the FEAR of the possibility of death. You see... for several weeks, I've been digging a special grave just for you. After Sunday's match... I will lie you in it! And all these fans will no longer have the option of cheering you anymore!"
DMK glares at his rival fiercely, refusing to cave into his threats. DMK grabs an available mic, and only has a single line to respond with.
DMK: "If you're gonna dig graves... then you better dig TWO!"
The crowd gives an anxious cheer for DMK, who is basically vowing to take 'Digger to hell with him! The two rivals share an intense staredown as the show comes to a close, with a chuckling, bloody Gravedigger eyeing a very focused DMK! What will happen this Sunday between them???
