Lutte enrages fans and opponents alike... and that's just the way he likes it. The "Fantastic Frenchman" acquired a large amount of wealth through very shrewd financial investments and impeccable timing, earning his 1st million by the age of 24. Mr. Lutte's extreme competitiveness not only made him hugely successful in finance, but also in the wrestling world. After training in one of Europe's most prestigious facilities, he was signed to the uber-popular European Wrestling League and immediately made an impact. His "better-than-you" promos and in-ring heel tactics rubbed fans the wrong way but made him a dangerous grappler. He held the EWL's Golden Championship Medal 3 times, including a record 408-day reign that saw him eclipse nearly every contender. After earning a reputation as one of Europe's best, the WWE offered him a very lucrative contract. In his final EWL match before leaving for the WWE, Lutte lost the Golden Championship Medal to England's Quinn Cadbury who had been his fiercest rival during his tenure in the EWL. Rather than treading water in the WWE's developmental ranks, Lutte was promoted to the main roster and has since been a very troublesome opponent for anybody in his path. Joseph disguised himself as the bell ringer and struck Krizz Torture with the bell during the match, causing American Cool to lose... At the Night of Champions PPV, he and Quinn faced the Bullet Boyz with their Tag Team Titles on the line... During the match, Antonio Jordan revealed himself as a disguised cameraman and interfered, causing the G.L.O.W. team to lose the match and the titles... G.L.O.W. received a rematch days later but were unable to reclaim the titles... Joseph & Quinn resumed their feud with Antonio & Krizz and later in the month, Smackdown GM Teddy Long announced a tag team match for the Summerslam PPV that would put Antonio's Intercontinental Title on the line... During the match, Antonio & Krizz got into an argument and Joseph was able to pin Antonio to win the match and his 3rd Intercontinental Title...
