Jack was sad to leave his home country but knew that the WWE would give him the top-notch competition he craved, and has made a major impact at every turn in his story. Career Overview Year 1: Began the year as a member of the Raw brand... He was aligned with Renegade in the tag team known as Chaos... In May, Renegade turned on Hitman and they feuded throughout the month... This led to an Extreme Rules match between them at the Extreme Rules PPV, and Hitman won the brutal bout... In July, he received an opportunity to compete for the newly-reinstated Hardcore Title... At the Night of Champions PPV, he defeated Renegade, Vincent Serum and Antonio Jordan in a 4-way match to win the Hardcore Title... His reign only lasted a month as Antonio Jordan won a Scramble match in September to win the title... Later that month, Hitman appeared as a surprise partner for DMK and Antonio Jordan in a 6-man tag match against the Badass Coalition and helped them win the match... He then joined the Good As Hell stable briefly... A week later, Hitman received a chance to face David Degenerate in a #1 contender's match and upset him to earn a WWE Title shot against new ally DMK... The two kept good relations up until the Hell in a Cell PPV where they were scheduled to meet for the WWE Title... In the Hell in a Cell match, DMK defeated Hitman in brutal fashion and tried to show a little sportsmanship after the match, but Hitman delivered a low blow and ended their friendship... In November, Hitman participated in a 20-man battle royal at the Survivor Series PPV with a title shot available for the winner... Hitman outlasted all to win the match and earn a title shot... In December, he set his sights on David Degenerate and the U.S. Title... David was distracted in trying to feud with both Hitman and WWE champ Antonio Jordan at the same time... At the TLC PPV, Hitman upset David to win his first U.S. Title... In January, rookie Rebel Ford emerged as a new contender for the U.S. Title... At the Royal Rumble PPV, Hitman defeated Rebel to retain the title... Later that night, he also competed in the 30-man Royal Rumble match... In February, Rebel wanted another title match and they both agreed to it... At the Elimination Chamber PPV, Rebel used a well-timed leverage pin to win the match and the title... In March, Hitman demanded a rematch and Brett Diamond got involved in their feud as well... Hitman also joined up with Vincent Serum and they formed a tag team... At WrestleMania, Rebel won a Triple Threat match against Hitman and Brett to retain the title Year 2: Hitman and partner Vincent Serum were both drafted to Smackdown to begin the year... Serum won the ECW Title in April and together they began to climb the tag team division ranks... In June, Serum lost the title to Zach Wesley which sparked a feud between the teams of Serum & Hitman and Zach & Billy Carter... In July, Serum & Hitman were scheduled to face Parker & Coop for the tag team #1 contender spot, but Billy & Zach attacked the Olympian duo and stole their match spot... Serum & Hitman defeated Billy & Zach to become #1 contenders and were going to face the then-current champs American Cool... At the Night of Champions PPV, Billy & Zach attacked Serum & Hitman moments before the match, allowing Antonio & Krizz to win easily and retain... This act ruined their only true shot at the Tag Team titles, and continued the feud between Serum and Zach over the ECW Title... Hitman was angry over the missed title opportunity and turned his attention to Intercontinental champ Joseph T. Lutte... In August at the Summerslam PPV, Hitman upset Joseph to win the match and his first I.C. title... Their feud continued into September where a rematch was made... At the Hell in a Cell PPV, they met in a Steel Cage match for the Intercontinental title but Joseph exited first to reclaim the belt... In October, Hitman attacked Joseph backstage and demanded a rematch, which led to a dangerous Inferno match... At the Bragging Rights PPV, Joseph won the match to retain the belt... In November, Serum & Hitman called it quits as a team and Hitman began to focus more on his individual career... He slowly climbed the ranks again and in February, he upset World Heavyweight champ Ace to earn a spot in the Elimination Chamber match... At the Elimination Chamber PPV, Hitman was the 4th man eliminated as Ace went on to retain the title... In March, he defeated Mack Wheeler in a #1 contender's match to earn a one-on-one World Title match against Ace... At WrestleMania, Hitman put up a good fight but lost the match... Afterward, the crowd showed Hitman a lot of support which angered Ace and eventually led to his heel turn Year 3: Began the year still on the Smackdown brand and hanging near the top of the rankings... He continued to win regularly but was not in direct contention for any titles... In June, he entered the King of the Ring Tournament... He defeated former partner Vincent Serum in the Smackdown quarterfinals but was upset by rookie H.E.R.O. in the Smackdown semifinals... In July, he received a chance to earn an ECW Title shot and won a 6-man battle royal to become the new #1 contender... Later in the month on an episode of Smackdown, he defeated Craig Bullet to win his 1st ECW Title... In August, a feud developed between Hitman and the Bullet Boyz, with Craig striving for a rematch... Hitman was able to beat Craig in a rematch to retain the title, but the feud continued into September... The Bullet Boyz began attacking him and using their 2-on-1 advantage, but Hitman received a shocking save from H.E.R.O. during an episode of Smackdown... Hitman formed a team with H.E.R.O. and they became #1 contenders for the Bullet Boyz' Tag Team Titles in their first match together... At the Hell in a Cell PPV, the Bullet Boyz won to retain the belts... In October, a feud with Zach Wesley developed and he defended his title on the final episode of Smackdown against the "Mohawked Maniac"... In December, he retained his title against Guy Justice on Smackdown... In January, he & H.E.R.O. wanted to rise up the tag team ranks but fell short in a #1 contender's match against American Cool... At the Royal Rumble PPV, Hitman entered at #20 and eliminated Ace but was betrayed by H.E.R.O., who eliminated him after giving an innocent high-five... In February, he & H.E.R.O. seemed to put their issues aside and earned the #1 contender spot for the Tag Team Titles... Hitman agreed to push the title match onto an episode of Raw instead of the next PPV, which angered H.E.R.O. enough to attack him and turn heel... The "Lethal Canadian" showed up on that Raw to fulfill the obligation of the title match, despite fighting then in a 2-on-1 Handicap match... Jack had a great performance and nearly won the titles alone before Alpha & Omega were ultimately victorious... A few weeks later, he defeated Jester Price and Zach Wesley to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match... At WrestleMania, he played a key role in the chaotic match but was not able to capture the briefcase |
