He wears a hoodie with the hood pulled up during his entrances to keep himself focused for every bout, but it only adds to the intriuging aura about him. Justice grew up in Detroit but found the disconnect between socioeconomic classes within the city to be disturbing. As a young boy he attempted to make friends with peers from all backgrounds but found that it was difficult to get all sides to come together. As soon as he was able to, Justice left Detroit and traveled the world in an attempt to find what he called the "Truth". It is unclear what he means by this, but his passion for it has led him to create a small following of fans. After becoming unsatisfied with his initial search, Justice returned to Detroit and tried to find a way to reach more people. With his athletic ability and its national following, Justice discovered pro wrestling as a way to reach the masses. He very quickly learned the craft and his passionate promos citing his search for "Truth" made him a top draw around the independent scene. He was able to capture multiple reigns of the mid-card title and after a 3-year battle to the top of the ranks, he captured the independent league's heavyweight belt in a 60-minute Ironman match victory. The win skyrocketed Justice's following and caught the eye of WWE officials. After his heavyweight title reign ended at 276 days, WWE offered him a contract in order to bring his message to the millions of WWE fans. Since then, his search for the "Truth" has continued on the big stage... where he hopes to one day find his answer.
